summer? >> the school board is continuing to delay and say they are tied up. it was 6-6 when they voted. they are taking a big listen to the teachers unions who don't want our kids learning. they are still trying to keep our kids when they should be doing which is learning with their peers in a classroom, being challenged by great teachers. >> laura: the fairfax superintendent said something about school reopening yesterday. >> its situation today may not be the situation tomorrow. we have built into our plan flexibility to return or dial in for more in person learning and also dial out or down for less in person learning and more virtual learning. >> laura: the fact he is

a superintendent of one of the largest school district in the country is terrifying. i want to dial him out. how does that give any mother in fairfax county, virginia, any reason to have confidence in what is going forward? dialling in and out. their plans. what happens to the little kids? >> well, its kids are just suffering. 6 hours a day staring a screen. to see that scott is still waffling and there is not a real lengthy in person option offered, it hurts the children and the families. it's just sad. these children will be taking over these roles and they won't have cooperative ideas because they don't know how to interact with other students. it's sad.
