let's take a look at that poll i just referenced and you will see 51% are in favor of the confirmation of judge amy coney barrett. my question to you is do you see a situation in which this is delayed by democrats? >> democrats can try to delay it if they want to but ultimately will come to their senses because they know to do this would go against the majority of the american people but ultimately the democrats know that judge amy coney barrett is not only qualified to be on the supreme court, she should be on the supreme court. should have that person that the president has nominated to be on the supreme court placed on the supreme court because he's doing his constitutional duty. by them not doing their constitutional duty they are obstructionists. at a time the american people want congress to work together and get things done they should be trying to find ways of giving up and down vote to this person who deserves to be on the court, the president's nominee, fulfilling his constitutional duty and their constitutional

authority to advise and consent. it is a shameful tactic for them to do this at this late in the game because they know they are failing, their policies are failing on the democrat side, the issues on the democrat side, the political tactic to try to stall the nomination from moving forward to a confirmation to be justice amy coney barrett is something that is really embarrassing on their side. todd: we mentioned a majority of the nation wants her confirmed. a supermajority is against court packing. these were a little shocking in light of what you hear from the democrats, 58% of americans are against increasing the size of the supreme court if biden wins. this isn't resin used in which is often accused of being pro-republican. this is big time. the new york times. that is a 27% difference.

isn't it politically bad for democrats to consider this, to continue pushing this? >> this paul shows the american people are listening to things the republican party is saying, things the president is saying in terms of court packing and what joe biden is not saying which is denouncing court packing and acting as if he's not going to pack the court. the american people are not stupid. joe biden and the democrats seem to think we are. the more we highlight the contrast and show court packing is wrong and try to hold him accountable the american people are saying there is a different way and they are going away from what the democrats in the mainstream media trying to tell us relates to what joe biden will won't do. we know for a fact joe biden intends to pack the court, expand the court and the american people are rejecting it.

jillian: tv ad spending in battleground states, these were numbers we pulled from the brain room yesterday the joe biden spent $39.7 million last week outspending donald trump every week since the beginning of august. the president's campaign is making a push the final two weeks adding $55 million in a tv ad blitz. why is that? is the campaign feeling any pressure? >> if you are talking the joe biden campaign they are feeling a lot of pressure. >> talking about the president's campaign. to put out that much money in the final two weeks, why? >> doing it because that's the culmination of what we've been doing on the ground and across the country for several months because of the generosity of our donors and grassroots supporters. at the end of the day we've got to move to the face of getting out the vote and make sure they know the dangers of what bushel biden is trying to do.

i can't imagine what that feels like every time you continue to hear news like this for one of your brothers and sisters in blue. >> it is a troubling narrative and we have a 41 year police veteran that could have retired a long time ago but he was doing this because this was the profession that he loved and it goes back to this was unfortunate we had an illegal alien who shouldn't have been in this country subsequently killed this officer as a result of a dispute. it speaks volumes to the danger officers face on a day-to-day basis in the united states. shannon: continue to have the question of how is this going to stop? >> when we consider what police officers were present they are a reflection of the social contract and the social contract affords citizens protections by government and when it is fractured we as americans as a whole suffer, not just the one

individual. shannon: let's talk about this. the department of justice and minneapolis police announced a policing initiative as residents to the city for lack of police. bring up this graphic to show what this is about. the national response center initiative assistance to the department to support law enforcement review enhanced and reform policies and practices to prevent the use of excessive force. let's listen to what folks who are suing have to say about this. >> that's what this is about. we want law and order, we want reform the we are in the city to say enough is enough. >> legal option we are exercising because it seems the city council cannot hear us, doesn't feel what we feel. jillian: what do you think of this? >> this is interesting. we heard the growing sentiment

of reform and d policing on a national level in the wake of the death of george floyd. of city council went through a closed minded approach and focused on defunding the police not realizing what happens on the back end where public safety would be at risk, be careful because you may get what you ask for it is a result that community and minneapolis experienced an immediate rising crime and not understanding the sentiment, the citizenry in that particular area wants. the doj is looking to step in and introduce a series of resources but believe it or not the city council is not looking to engage in that discourse and that's a problem. we need to understand the necessity of having police. police reform is necessary but we need to introduce additional resources and that is what the doj is moving forward with this agenda.

wealth, $0.60 of every dollar going to the government. even carney be said where's my money going? i pay this money in taxes. there is an acknowledgment once you start to achieve a certain level of wealth and it's not that high. you can be a two parent household making 6 figures, recognizing the pressure on taxes when you talk about building investment in the black community, business investment, don't can't entrepreneurship. you hear them coming from donald trump's deregulation and investment in the black community in different ways. todd: whether the votes were there. >> thank you for joining us.

todd: you heard after 2016 the secret trump voter, the voters who support the president on either side we heard about the silent majority who came out and supported him in 2016 and a lot of people say that is still very much a thing. look at these numbers, 68% of trump voters agree they won't put trump signed in their yard, 64% said they won't put stickers on their car in support of the president. >> this is real and look at the biden numbers. they are much much lower. you drive around those numbers make sense to me. they won't put biden stickers on a car. and they don't see, i am voting

for trump, that is what we hear when traveling around the diners, we heard that comment over and over that i was quiet about it and little by little they felt more confident but not in the numbers you would say trump voters are making themselves know. the silent majority, are there enough to sway the election? >> i spent some time in the last month, made a comment to my dad, i have seen more signs in support of both parties this year than i've ever seen in my life and my parents agreed they are lining up and down the streets. it was interesting to take a drive and see that. let's listen to what they have to say about the president likely being reelected. >> i think the president wins with a minimum, possibly going up significantly higher but just

how big this undercurrent is. what we noticed is these polls are predominantly missing the hidden trump vote, there's a clear feeling among conservatives, people for the president, they are not interested in sharing their opinions so readily. these people are a lot less hesitant or more hesitant to not participate in polls. if you are not compensating for this. todd: that was one of the few pollsters, very few people who predicted the trump win in 2016. and trump supporters are very enthusiastic to vote for the president, 52% of biden supporters feel the same. i take these numbers with a grain of salt because you can't vote twice was the president loves the rallies, they are very energetic but at the end of the day you can only vote once.

the earlier point we made about the silent trump supporter is going to be a bigger factor in this election than the enthusiasm that is there, don't know how big a deal it is. jillian: polls in every state are so tight and you look at where they were at this point in 2016 and they are even tighter and a lot of battleground states so it will be interesting to watch. >> we will be there to guide you through it all. a lawsuit filed against the crown prince for the killing of washington post journalist jamal khashoggi. jillian: the family looks for answers. >> good morning. the murder of jamal khashoggi, suing mohammed been salmon in a us court over his killing in october of 2018. the 61 page lawsuit reads this

opinions contradict themselves in the 5 minute interview. when i asked students to disqualify a candidate from running for office they agreed but when i told them it was joe biden you see them do a complete 180 and this is because of liberal bias and indoctrination. on both sides of the story, contradict themselves. >> where are the majority of college students getting their news? depending where people get their news they may or may not know much about this alleged story? >> students are getting their news from social media and their professors who have biased opinions in the classroom instance will vote for the name of the party not necessarily the policies. very dangerous because the next generation of leaders, college students need to know how to think for themselves but when they go along with their professors and what they are seeing on social media they are voting for a politician and

don't know why. and 13 days they will be heading to the polls with this uninformed voting system. jillian: you mentioned 13 days left to go, they broke records on national voter registration day, 100,000 registrations and in 2020 there were 200,000, even snapchat registration which is blowing my mind a little bit. it is great that young people want to vote but make sure they are voting for policies, not just a candidate. >> exciting time for a lot of college students voting for the first time and a responsibility, a lot of main issues, racial unrest and women's rights but the main issue is trump. not just because they want to get trump out of office and this will be driving them to the polls.
