equation. president trump when he goes in there tonight he needs to have specifics. when i watch the lesley stahl interview and there is a lot to be said whether or not she was bias. when she asked him about healthcare he doesn't nail down 3 or 4 specific points of what people can anticipate in the next 4 years. this was a huge issue in 2018. the president says his preparation is an interaction with the press. he needs to have done home work. so people can go, oh now i understand where this administration will take me in 4

bobulinksi. joe biden is the big guy. that's why mr. bobulinksi will be at the debate. i will use a metaphor. something missing tonight is foreign policy. i will begin with an obesity analogy. a years ago i was 40 pounds over weight. i thought about it every day. it filled up my brain. i decided to do something about it. exercise more and watch my diet and i lost weight. my weight loss is trump's foreign policy. i no longer have to think about it or talk about it except as a lesson. i worry about other things. that's foreign policy for trump. the irony is the successes we had with north korea and china, the middle east. we are not talking about the middle east. that eliminated an issue he could talk about because it's not on anybody's plate anymore.

how can you go on and have a debate about foreign policy and argue with donald trump with china. he was the first guy there. he was the first guy to say there was something up. he took the nuclear threat of north korea off the map. we don't hear about "ice." -- isis. his greatest achievement removed that issue. so we are talking about words opposed to joe biden's deeds. he has compromised himself. if he actually wins, impeachment proceedings start the day after inauguration and the democrats won't mind because they have kamala harris. >> a lot more to come. the final debate tonight. up next the brand new allegations surrounding hunter biden and a former business

>> ♪ >> ♪ >> welcome back to nashville. we were just talking about, there are new major developments involving hunter biden and the larger story of the biden family business ventures. a former business partner of hunter biden tony bobulinksi is expected to speak to the media after releasing a statement confirming an email found on hunter biden's laptop. it was addressed to bobulinksi and lays out the percentage payout that would exist in a chinese partnership that included 10% for the big guy. bobulinksi said the reference to the big guy is in fact a reference to joe biden. hunter biden called his dad the big guy or my chairman and frequently referenced asking him for his sign-off or advice on

various deals that we were discussing. bobulinksi claiming he witnessed joe biden discussion these business deals with his son. that contradicts the claims from the former vice president biden who said they never discussed it. there is also a may 27th text from bobulinksi that said this about hunter: does he want to blow up his dad's campaign. >> this needs to be done right and protect that fact. the president said the new allegations should be investigated and s are getting on board. >> i think a special prosecutor is appropriate. this is the former vice president biden who may be in a money laundering scheme. it looks like joe biden is getting kickbacks from the china. the american people deserve answers and he needs to be asked

and legacy on the line he grew concerned with when he saw mr. bobulinksi said. this is another one about the nature of the overall chinese deal. mr. bobulinksi said i realize the chinese were not focussed on a healthy financial return on investment. they looked at this as a political influence investment in which joe biden would be a 10% partner. bobulinksi confirmed there were meetings that joe biden was at. >> i don't know why you believe him. i don't know what to think. there is no evidence of this. it was donald trump who had a bank account in china. looking at this debate, have at it mr. trump. the more time you spend on this

means you are not talking about your vision for the second term or talking about a healthcare plan or talking about the coronavirus and that matters to the american people and not a bunch of conspiracy theories. >> to that point, how much time should the president dedicate to this tonight? does he run the risk of going down a deep rabbit hole that may not matter to voters? >> juan said i was going down a rabbit hole. i dug all the way to china. >> [laughing]. >> there are other emails. the chinese communist energy company offered $5 million interest-free loan to the biden family because they have so much trust if them. don't mention joe being involved. they are paranoid. everybody owes the "new york post" an apology.

this guy has verified emails. most of these are not from hunter's laptop. they have joe participating in meetings and scouting clients. they have photos of joe at the beverly hilton in los angeles on the same day hunter is talking about setting up a meeting to discuss the china deal where joe got a 10% kickback. this story is beginning. there is more out there. the fbi has an active money laundering investigation regarding this laptop. we might hear about caymen bank accounts. the media is trapped. if the media reports it they destroy their candidate. if they hide it they destroy their credibility. >> the president and joe biden tonight, how much time should the president spend on this to check all of the boxes and have

what question was so unfair? >> i think it was her knocking him down and not letting him answer the question. i watched that a few times today. she doesn't say why he is wrong about the economy being the best it's ever been. he went through the employment numbers. he could say look at the bureau of labor statistics. there was not a lot of substance in the follow-up to create the next level of questioning there. that's what i take issue with. i am not sure whether or not it was wise to release their version. there are moments that are not favorable for the president especially on healthcare where he didn't have specific answers about where to take the country. maybe we will see them tonight. >> dana, you were the press sect at the white house. usually these are taped for the national archives and not to retaliate against journalists.

if obama did that, what would be the reaction? >> news flash, donald trump is breaking norms. that's what he does. the question why do the interview in the first place? i think he could have said, i don't care that you are doing an interview with joe biden. i will do a rally and get an audience and talk about what i want to talk about because you are so biassed against me. that's a way to handle it. decided to put it out. he has won the battle against the media. he wages it every day. i watched the entire debate. you have to be thankful that he released this unediting thing. know what the media does. they take a big slab of crap and manufactures it into a story. you saw she is a hack and she was unprepared. she didn't even know the answers to her own questions. when he responded, he looked confused. she brought up hillary and said he brought up hillary. he was a parrot of all of the media assumptions you see every day. it was a lazy performance on her part. i was embarrassed for her and thankful that donald trump pulled the curtain back. we never got to see that before.
