11:00 pm
most important election in modern history. never miss an episode of "hannity." andlet not your heart be troubled because laura ingraham has a another great show. >> laura: record setting ratings for you in the month of october. all of the fox prime-time line-up awesome. >> sean: we have the best audience. i don't care about the ratings. i want to win this election. the american people they can overcome all of these forces and shock the world. i hope we do. our kids futures depend on it. >> laura: 100%. i think it's nice that prime-time has done really well. a lot of your staff is a great
11:01 pm
staff. i have an amazing team and so does tucker and we all like each other. that's pretty good. >> sean: i read that. that's never happened in cable history. >> laura: congrats. i am laura ingraham and this is the "ingraham angle" from washington. america in lockdown. that's the focus of tonight's "angle." this may not surprise you. but the left is lying again. >> this administration gave up. over the weekend the white house chief of staff mark meadows went on television and admitted they waved the white flag and declared surrender. >> laura: what a fraud this man is. he is talking about covid. neither the president nor his team has given up on anything. but biden has. everything about his tone reeks of surrender. it is so bleak. he wants america to be permanently changed and all in for using the chinese virus to
11:02 pm
do it. while biden hides his real covid agenda, the experts he will be following have already spilled the beans. >> i think it will be by the end of 2021 and perhaps even into the next year before we start having some semblances of normality. if you get restaurants to open at almost full capacity and sporting events with spectators that will be well into 2021 and beyond. >> laura: i thought he didn't talk about anything except medicine. that man should carry around a miniature goal post with him and move it when he speaks. that's what he's done in covid. remember 15 days to slow the
11:03 pm
spread to save the hospital. now it's forcing us into years of misery and isolation and economic devastation. all put on america in order it supposedly eradicate the virus completely. back in april, i first warned you about the danger of this covid goal post shifting. the curve was flattened. now that's not good enough. now they tell us we can't go back to our old life until almost a new bureaucracy is createed to save us, the goal post keeps shifting. how far can the public be confident in what they hear from health officials if things keep changing? wow, we have been doing this for a long time. now we are told that shutdowns are heroics and opponents of them are selfish. the "new york times" hailed australia has a second story? why? they were emerging from a 111 day lockdown.
11:04 pm
5 months with people not being able to travel more than 3 miles from home. no restaurants, no sports, no churches. they could not even go outside for longer than an hour at one point. still not allowed to hug their friends. their economy is shredded. that's what they wanted. is that we want. most americans don't realize what their lives will become in a biden/harris presidency. they only report skewed data to scare grandma and suburban women to support biden. europe shutdown and shattered their economy and yet their case numbers are now exploding. intent to build on their failure, europe is doing it all over again. this is the definition of insanity.
11:05 pm
liberals here gave up in other areas as well. they gave up on our history. allow it to be trashed. given up on traditional shows of patriotism because the anthem and the flag are symbols of a racist nation and given up on the rule of law watching as cities are looted and burned. the liberals have given up on the second amendment and given up on the first amendment. think about how wild this is. when clinton ran in 1992, his campaign theme was don't stop thinking about tomorrow. for obama it was about hope and
11:06 pm
change. beautiful. but for biden? it's all doom and gloom. the long dark winter. just look at him. he is constantly scowling. listen closely. he is playing the predicate for what his experts tell him to do. shut it down. >> even if i win it will take hard work to end the pandemic. i can't end the pandemic by flipping a switch. we will let science drive our decisions and we will never ever quit. that's how we will shutdown this virus. >> laura: number 1, president trump didn't say he would flip a switch to end the pandemic. number 2 you can't shutdown a virus by hiding from it.
11:07 pm
immunity is acquired 3 ways. first you get the bug and survive it. second you get vaccinations and third you are already immune do to something called cross reaction with other viruss. that's t-cell immunity. when biden says let science drive our decisions that means unelected experts will dictate when kids can go to school and we can go to church and when we can travel to see family and friends. democrats opted to use free instead of substantive arguments to win this election. the sign that the left has given up on america? is whether they work overtime to silence their opponents.
11:08 pm
it started on college campuses. now the censorship is being perfected on social media. facebook's mark zuckerberg and twitter's jack dorsey testified virtually. they censor trump but protect biden as twitter does with the hunter biden story. >> why did twitter censor the "new york post"? >> we -- >> they were not hiding the source. when you don't have the source do you block stories? >> no, our team made the decision. >> laura: but what happened just a few weeks ago when a story about the president's tax returns came out. >> did twitter block the distribution of the "new york times"'s story that perported to be based on copies of president trump's tax returns. >> it was a report about the material.
11:09 pm
>> that's not true. they purported it was original source federal and it's a felony to distribute someone's tax returns. >> laura: ted cruz schooled these guys. the tech companies are acting like a censorship bureau for the democrats. where did that leave the voices of independent thinkers during the biden administration you? would be silenced. the left's efforts to shut you down will continue until the democrats feel real political pain. governors in blue states don't
11:10 pm
care about the emotional turmoil they inflict on children and families. president trump has never given up on you. >> with your help and your drive, we will keep on working and keep on fighting and we are going to keep on winning winning, winning. >> [cheers and applause]. >> laura: in fact, all of the people on the political scene today, of all of them in the entire world, the president is the most optimistic. he loves the hard working people of this nation. unlike biden he doesn't believe the government has the right to manipulate them into giving up their freedom for their dreams because of a virus? the president doesn't down play the tragic consequences of covid but forges ahead as we rapidly develop vaccine and therapeutics. his optimism is not blind. it's informed and necessary. our government has no right to deny us our basic liberties until the experts are satisfied?
11:11 pm
on tuesday we will choose a future of prosperity and freedom and happiness or one of decline, despair and lockdowns. i still think americans are a lot smarter. that's the "angle." joining me eric trump executive vice-president of the trump organization. you have been on the road campaigning. they are trying to shutdown america through these tech companies and unelected health bureaucrats. which should concern voters more? >> well, both. your open was beautiful. hit the nail on the head. when i was sitting there in the front row of the debate and biden says this winter will be a winter of darkness. my father said is will be a winter of light and happiness. we will get the schools open and churches open. a winter of darkness, who says
11:12 pm
that? no one has done more miles around this country than me and our family. people are not buying this. people want to get back to life. it's naive to think only a career politician making money off of every country in the world has the luxury of locking themselves in their basement for months on end. people have to make a living for their families and their lives. people want to take a vacation. people don't have the same luxury as joe biden and hunter biden and members of the elite media. they don't have that option. they need to make a living to support their families.
11:13 pm
>> laura: are you surprised how many people, women especially it looks like, have been -- i don't know if they are lulled into thinking that the experts can save them from the virus? or they misunderstood how lethal the virus is. it's tragic and it's heart breaking for american families but nonetheless it's something that overwhelming people survive and they can tolerate and young people quite well. are you surprised by the skew in the female votes? >> no. when i am in new york people are susceptible to it. when you get out into america people want to live their lives. people want to go to church and work and celebrate with their kids. it's different in new york city about covid than in the heartland of america. covid is horrible and hurt the entire world.
11:14 pm
we have to fight through. my father got and he was the first one to say this was no fun, but we are americans. in our dna we are not meant to be locked in a cave. you have to fight through it. we have done it with the best therputtics and vaccine. we have to live our lives. we have to live our lives. we can't be locked up because dr. fauci says so. >> laura: eric, this big tech hearing. senator asked mark zuckerberg a question that stumped him. >> the person in charge of election security at facebook is a former joe biden staffer. >> i am not aware of the example you say of someone in charge of this process who worked for biden in the past. we can follow-up on that. >> laura: the guy controlling
11:15 pm
the messages on this election from facebook worked for biden and zuckerberg doesn't know that? is that believable? >> zoom out. they blocked kayleigh mcenany the white house press secretary. twitter blocked her off the flat form. they censored you and me and 3/4 of the people watching. they censored every person who reposted that "new york post" article. it only goes one way. you better believe they also have their fingers on the dial. if i put something out they disagree with, the numbers are down. i can see it and you can too on yours. they censor us and don't do it to the other side. americans are seeing through it. and frankly the one thing you don't want to do to america is take away their free speech.
11:16 pm
it's the first amendment right for a reason. >> laura: too much power. it's ruled by oligarchs and experts the way it is looking. eric, good luck on the campaign trail. the experts cited europe and australia has role models for the handling of covid. but violent protests are breaking out against italy and spain. people are sick and tired of limits on their freedom. and in melbourne residents just ended a 111 day extreme lockdown.
11:17 pm
could this all be in your future? today we caught a glimpse of which countries dr. fauci think we should emulate. >> australia is one of the countries that has done quite well, i believe. new zealand has done well. some of the asian countries have done well. i would like to say the same for the united states but the numbers speak for themselves. we are still going on a day by day basis getting worse and worse. >> laura: joining me now is a doctor from stanford. doctor, if dr. fauci is holding up australia as the gold standard, he would advocate similar lockdown measures here if he had the chance? >> australia and melbourne, the last 100 days have been draconian. they oppressed the civil rights of people living there. people were told not to sit on park benches and pregnant moms were arrested. australia, the lockdowns did not come at no cost.
11:18 pm
from the lockdown there were a percent increase in suicide attempts. and newborns with heart problems could not get medical services because of restrictions in travel because of the lockdown and the cutting back of needed medical services for cancer and diabetes patients. >> laura: also, is there any evidence that a lockdown has ever of a nation as large as the
11:19 pm
united states would be feasible unless you call out the military? or that it will work? you would open the country at some time, correct? >> yes, no locked in history ever eradicated disease. even like australia an island continent. they are not disconnected from the rest of the world. in the united states zero covid is not possible. it would come at too high a cost. you would have to destroy the nation to get to that point. >> laura: a lot of people think that's part of the goal to force new social change. california can you know well governor newsom has restrictions in place about how can celebrate thanksgiving. it's like a 2 hour limit or what? america, are you paying attention this is this really happening in your country? the answer is yes and it will be nationwide if biden wins.
11:20 pm
>> you can go into the bathroom as long as you sanitize properly. >> laura: thanks for joining us. coming up it's 2016. the liberal media thinks texas is a toss up. does karl rove agree and burgess owens could flip his district red next week. we will talk about what it means after this. how do i register to vote? hmm!.. hmm!.. hmm!.. pipe lines to move the product. the state could save a lot of money for our schools. largest source is local property tax and second largest source the oil and gas taxes and our universities. we have two great universities. the university of team and team a&m. their income comes from drilling on oil and gas on state lands. that would all be hurt by saying you can't begin a wells that has methane production unless you take out of the oil well all of the gas and put in a pipeline. you can't flair it any longer.
11:29 pm
you have to get the pipeline there before you can get one barrel of oil. >> laura: it's devastating on all of the mom and pops that depend on the energy. all of the charity work that the oil and gas industry does throughout the region and not just in texas. my next point. nbc news moved texas to a toss up saying a huge surge in early voting suggests we could see record turnout in the state that added many new residents in 2016. texas hasn't voted democrat since '76. meaning joe biden is the next jimmy carter perhaps. do you think that is accurate? >> no, and neither does joe biden. for the last 2 months he's made regular announcements that they are going to come hard for texas.
11:30 pm

i got him on record. he said zero carbon by 2035. that means by 2035 he wants to end the 70% of electricity generation from fossile fuels. virtually all of it. some from coal and a small amount of oil. 70% of electricity he wants it gone. he will make demands get into electric cars. billion dollars of investments in plants that can run for 50 years will be gone. what will that do to your utility bills? can will jack them up and like

california we have blackouts. >> laura: karl, we have to run. people might not like trump's tweets but they won't like rolling blackouts and never ending shut downs. >> and higher utility bills. >> laura: thank you. karl, thank you very much it. with control of congress on the line, the gop looking to take back the house next week. maybe 30 african-americans republican candidates running right now could push them over the finish line like my next guest burgess owens. look at the polls and not necessarily yours. everyone is supposed to be demoralized in the republican

party. i am not buying it? >> same here. i have a news flash. an hour before coming to the show, we got an email from a major news outlet here that they are ceasing our advertisement. they decided to pull our ads. i have no idea why. my opponent is 95% negative and pac money from pelosi. that's not utah value. we believe in diversity of thought and not being negative. we agree to disagree. that's the old school way of doing thing. to see this bias and censorship across the country. we have a lot to look at this year as mornings.
11:34 pm
i hope we understand we are at the edge. we can't allow for the idea we can be censored or stopping from talking. that's what people do best is talk. >> laura: they don't want to talk. they want to shutdown and blackout and have regulations. they want to force americans into submission. this person says president trump is failing black business owners. >> they are asking for a plan from the federal government to mitigate this virus. this demonstrates how this administration failed the american people and failed back americans in in country. >> laura: your response to that? >> she is living in la-laland. they are concerned because the amount of black americans and hispanic-americans are waking
