the weather. he will be in michigan, wisconsin and minnesota tomorrow and biden will head to iowa and wisconsin and added a stop in minnesota. president trump looked at minnesota as a possible pick up state. maybe joe biden thinks the same thing. >> minnesota is very competitive. the people with the trump campaign say that they think they have a good shot. biden showed up in minnesota a couple of weeks ago. now they panicked and are knocking on doors. trump people have knocked on doors for 4 years in minnesota. i want to talk about florida. for the last 25 years, the candidate that won florida won the election. joe biden if he doesn't win florida is not going to have a very good shot at the white house. right now it looks like a blood bath for biden.

the republicans wiped out this big early lead with early voters among democrats. they have it down to 190,000. joe biden goes into election day with a smaller lead than gillum had on desantis. they are not building up enough of a lead in florida and the battlegrounds to overcome this big republican turnout on election day. you know republicans who support donald trump will crawl over glass to vote for the president. i looked at a poll today out of monmouth and the president is winning with seniors in that poll and winning 25% of black voters and a third of hispanics in florida. up 30 points among whites

florida. that's a fight as jesse just told you. to my mind, i don't look right now at the snapshots of exactly what is the real clear average as much as i look at trends. the poll jesse told you about, monmouth is trending towards biden. they have him off 5 points. nbc today -- >> they had hillary up 5 too. >> you were going on and on about all of these numbers. the bottom line is they have him up 5 points. again, what we are seeing is if you look at the trend line it's biden gaining in florida. it's still a big fight and c carville is right saying democrats can't take anything for granted. that's why biden is down there.

when we talk about early voting i don't know why kayleigh mcenany got that stuff from. you look at the enthusiasm among democrats, that's not good news for the trump campaign. those people are turning out with energy. they want to vote. they are standing in lines to vote. you look at the polls in michigan, pennsylvania and wisconsin, biden is up in all of those battleground states. >> greg, in 2018, that's the most recent results we had for voting in florida. democrats put a lot of effort to win the gubernatorial race and the senator's race. and ron desantis won the governorship and rick scott was returned to the senate. >> interesting points, dana. this race is closer than ilhan omar and her brother. it's neck and neck.

i will tell you these polls are always deceptive. we have a great example of how it becomes deceptive. you have the rapper 50 cent who endorses trump. his ex-girlfriend jumps all over him publicly and bullies limto renounce his endorsement when he does. this is a tough rapper and he cowers. do you think he won't vote for trump? no. he said he is going to endorse biden to get the crazy lady off his back. that's the current state of liberal intolerance. one side will harass you until you break and agree with them them encourages dishonesty. will you put a trump sign in your yard if you know your house will be vandalized? no.

shut down the economy for the will being of american citizens and the congress passed that stimulus bill and they got the loans out and the stimulus checks out that, had a very important impact. we would not be seeing this kind of gdp number if you didn't have that immediate corporation between the president and congress to get that done quickly. seeing concern going forward the democrats squandered all of these opportunities to get legislation done before the election. remember nancy pelosi said okay if this doesn't get done before the election. i think joe biden should have pushed his democrats to get it. if he were to win, he will need this money to be out there sooner. at this point without any agreement, you will have all of these business owners going into the winter having no help from the federal government. probably until february. that's outrageous. we have seen that the policy that the president put in place

competitively. >> katie, wrap us up. just as people are concerned about economic growth, they are worried about the pandemic. the pandemic and resolving that issue is closely tied to reviving the economy. how do you see that playing out in the last few days of the campaign? >> the president argues you can do both at the same time. open the economy with safety measures and work on the vaccine and therapeutics. joe biden is talking about shutting down the country. you see people opening their businesses and traveling, it's hard to imagine to tell them they can no longer go back to work. we saw that in new york city with the restaurants suing governor cuomo and bill de blasio. arguing these lockdowns will ruin their businesses. it's important to look back and remember that the economy is in recovery in the way it is now. because it was so healthy when

this treasure trove of documents to ask questions of government officials and find things they can do other stories on. yet, they are censoring it and refusing to talk about it. i don't know if they want to work for the joe biden administration. i am not sure if they are afraid of what will happen if they write about this because they are in the same personal circles with these people in the d.c. area. in terms of journalistic integrity. when this anonymous op-ed came out, it's one thing to protect their safety. that's not what happened here. over the last 3 years journalistic outlets have rearranged the agreement with anonymous sourcing and use it to protect political opponents of

election night, i think if biden is doing well. we will know something. he is doing well right now in the battleground states and even doing well in texas. to hear president trump say, we should know. i can't believe it. unlike dana, i think it's trump and his guys who screwed up the postal service in terms of delivering ballots. they have long lines from closing polling places. they are the ones that are always trying to find a reason for people not to vote. >> so, jesse, round this out for us. >> we are going to know who won on election day whether the media wants to declare trump the victor not. we will see the numbers coming in. i think the court decision in pennsylvania is good for donald trump. all they said is that late ballots, they won't even be

counted. they will just be segregated and put aside. if the margin of victory in pennsylvania is smaller than the amount of segregated ballots, then maybe you will have a legal challenge. that's fine. i don't see that happening. in north carolina the president is in a strong position too. they will have late ballots coming in. they have to be postmarked before election day or they are invalid. you won't have democrats manufacturing votes. they have lawyers and poll watches the republicans. in north carolina watching these things get counted at election day and it will only be a trickle and not enough to swing the vote. >> i hope we know on election day. coming up next a text to the girl scouts congratulating amy
