tv The Ingraham Angle FOX News October 30, 2020 11:00pm-12:00am PDT
11:00 pm
set your dvr every night monday through friday, so you never miss an episode. let not your heart be troubled e friday night, laura ingraham is next, have a great week end we'll see you monday. and we will see you tuesday. >> laura: i am laura ingraham and this is "the ingraham angle." from minneapolis tonight, just four days until the election president trump is kicking his campaign into overdrive crisscrossing the country holding multiple rallies in crucial states, and today was a three-state sprint across the upper midwest. i was lucky enough to tag along for each leg of the ride. almost didn't make it to thef studio tonight, it was wild. at the whirlwind started in waterford township about 40 miles north of detroit in michigan. this is a heavily democrat county that crhillary clinton won more than eight points in 2016, but today you would've sworn this was the
11:01 pm
heart of maga country. >> you had a president who apologized for america, now you have a president standing up for america, and standing up for the great people of michigan. >> here we are in michigan, this crowd is a hearty crowd. they've been here, some of them since 6:00 a.m., it's 10 degrees with a windchill, but nobody's leaving. the president is still speaking in the background. >> we care a lot. we love trump. >> we love him. we love him. we're keeping him for four more years. >> when we went to michigan wins, when we win, america wins. that's all i want. >> laura: why are you supporting trump? >> he supports christians, we love you, president trump.
11:02 pm
>> he's a candidate for america. i came here 40 years ago from iraq legally, we support donald j. trump. >> why do you like a charm? >> he follows through on all of his promises. >> does that mean is a real politician? >> we love that he is not. >> laura: evening near freezing temperatures, you couldn't sense that anything but excitement ane energy was in the air. joe biden was on the trail at mthe same time as trump's michigan rally, and he too was making his final plea to the voters. though, i'm not sure his closing message made a lot of sense. >> i'll mobilize to stop china's abuses. >> laura: yikes. okay. back to president trump. after the first rally ended, we packed up, boarded air force two
11:03 pm
on our way to -- on the way to green bay, wisconsin. right off the flight, i caught up with the commander in chief for just a quick temperature check. look at this crowd, it's massive, what does it make you feel like? >> it's very exciting, a lot of love, we look forward to it. it's great to have it sound like you. >> laura: that confidence was echoed by chief of staff going to take wisconsin again? >> the people of wisconsin vote their values, both their prosperity, they are going to votety for donald j. trump. unbelievable crowd. unbelievable day. here's what we also know, if you go around this crowd, these are hardworking americans. they are the people that did the vast majority of living and dying in our country. quite frankly, they are the ones that matter most. m we are here to ask them for their votes, and ultimately
11:04 pm
hopefully bring it home on november 3rd. >> laura: the iconic football city of green bay is nestled ine a county that trump the won by nearly 11 points in 2016. trump's appearance was a call to action. he even got a boost from a packers legend. >> i want to thank a legendary champion and a green bay packers are personified, hall of famer brett favre, for his endorsement. you know, he's a tough guy. he's great. two days ago i saw that he endorsed me, and i just want to thank him. he's a heckuva champion. >> laura: it wasn't just the famous people, the faces, the folks in wisconsin are clear eyed about what they want, and it's a second trump term.
11:05 pm
>> after covid and jobs in this country. i think people here in wisconsin are all about the economy. >> why are you here? >> president trump? >> sleepy joe? i can't. he doesn't even know what he's talking about. we want a president that gets things done. >> i believe in america and democracy and freedom. >> who's going to win wisconsin? >> trump! >> laura: if you can believe it, after his second marathon the rally of the day, the president made his way to rochester, minnesota. now, the story at that event was the disgusting and transparent effort by democratic leaders in the state to limit
11:06 pm
trump's fans from coming out to see him. they capped the event at 250. this is outdoors at an airport. okay? while governor tim walz and attorney general keith ellison tried their best to blunt his momentum, guess what, it didn't work. >> these are the people who are not allowed by governor walz. these people weren't allowed to come in. the president actually came out to see them. >> 25,000 people -- get out and vote. >> thank you very much. >> four more years! >> four more years! >> four more years! >> laura: what a moment. after losing this once deep blue
11:07 pm
state by almost a point and a half, president trump is looking to close the deal and a state that has not gone republican, as he said a couple of times again, since 1972. based on the enthusiasm that i saw there tonight, i would not bet against him. i know i'm going out on a limb but this was unbelievable. the polls have trump behind in all three of the states he campaigned in today, but are they missing something? they certainly don't seem to capture what i saw at the rallies, and maybe it's just anecdotal, but i've been in politics for 30 years. i've never seen anything like this. never.ot not for obama, not clinton, not bush, and not even president reagan. i've never seen anything like it. you felt this way before to come i know some of you did four years ago. i can tell you again, based on what i'm seeing, iff you had to ask me, gun to my head, i would have to say it felt like 2016 all over again.
11:08 pm
by the way, in the stands and the risers, everybody was doing the dance. i had my little iphone camera so i couldn't point around. i dropped my camera, i think four or five times, because i was laughing so hard because of all the people dancing. everyone's making fun of themselves doing the trump dance. people are desperate to have a good time again in the united states. joining me now, steve cortes sara carter, fox news contributor, host of the sara carter show podcast. steve, i wanted to start with you, you been to a lot of these rallies, trump was sending a message. it was a message of love confidence, but defiance.
11:09 pm
defiance of these lockdowns. defiance of all these orders and defiance of democratic governors who have held the state back. >> there is an infectious joy at these rallies. we have an american president, a leader, who is encouraging us to embrace a great american renaissance. the renaissance in all ways, particularly economically. you can track that, as you mentioned, joe biden was in the same states today. i really can't call it a rally but contrasted to his appearances where he puts on his aviators, screams that cars in a syntax that might be described as pig latin. the objects of it -- the actual substance, joe biden threatens a shutdown of this country again. the good citizens of the midwest and all over this country simply will not go there. that would be catastrophic for our society, economy, physical and mental health, we are not atdoing that again. this president pledges we are not going there. this president is the president biden is the candidate of dark winter. he is a candidate to china.
11:10 pm
>> laura: in minnesota, there was joe biden. there was a moment where he heard some trump supporters who were being a little raucous off in the distance. he had his deplorable's irredeemable's moment. watch. i guess we're going to do that a little bit later with raymond. oh, he called them ugly basically. raymond wants to comment on that later, but he called them ugly. is this where we are at. trump is rough to sometimes with the language, but joe is getting frustrated. because this is exactly how they feel, right?. >> i think steve is right, this is a renaissance, and awakening in the american public where they are the most important feature of the selection. that's why at the opening is so early. he went to the american people followed the president around you talk to the people -- the
11:11 pm
people areed what's important. this is lockdown and liberty. this is about the future of america f where americans don't want a babysitter, they don't want the democratic party telling them who they are and who they should vote for. if they are speaking up and they are completely energized. once again, when you hear biden called trump voters ugly, you think back to hillary clinton and the deplorable statement. you say to yourself, while you say to yourself, wow, this is really how you feel about the american public. this is what the democratic party has become. it is not our father's democratic party, it is drastically different. president trump is delivering on all of his promises. i think we're going to see that at the polls on november 3rd. i'm sure of it. >> laura: when i was leaving rochester, it's about one hour and 30 minute drive from the studio -- the line out of the parking lot -- i cruised right
11:12 pm
into minneapolis. the line was so bad. i was walking. i was walking in between cars seeing if there's any way could hitch a ride. again, i don't know if i'll ever see anything like this again and my lifetime, i'm not exaggerating, the biden campaign is worried. they are worried about -- i think the turnout among black and latino voters. what is your reaction? >> absolutely. i'm so glad you showed that in rochester, they said, you can't have a real trump rally, so a pop up one happens anyway. that's what the deplorables are like. let me tell you one of the reasons that people should be excited in places like rochester.t we just got a fantastic jobs report for september. for the city of rochester, that metro area, wage gains were 13% year-over-year. the september versus september 2019. that means the average weekly
11:13 pm
paycheck makes $100 more per week because of the prosperity hepolicies of donald trump. that's in spite of a year that has been so marred by the china virus. the point is, prosperity is returning with abandon in places like rochester. it's not just the excitement also be tangible results he's delivering. i think it's also why we are seeing minorities who have been taken for granted by the democratic party for decades, we are seeing them rally to donald trump, particularly hispanics. i think we're going to do better. that makes joe biden really problematic. i want to play one quick sound bite. this was biden in des moines. quick response on how he is after all these years in the senate, he is going to get tough on china. watch.h. >> i will mobilize to stop
11:14 pm
china's abuses. i went across the country, i'm going to hold china accountable which he hasn't from the pandemic on. >> laura: i don't even know -- i don't know if his eyes were k open. he's going to get tough on china. go right, i think we first need to hold the biden family accountable and do some investigations as do their dealings with china before we can believeso that biden will actually hold them accountable. president trump has been holding china accountable, he's been holding russia accountable, he's been holding north korean net he's been brilliant on foreign policy, biden has had 47 years of just basically, i don't know, nothing. >> laura: holding them accountable, more like accounts receivable for hunter biden, but not holding anyone accountable. steve and sarah, i wish you were here, such a great place to be.er it's very exciting. thank you so much for joining us.
11:15 pm
we are on the ground today trump supporters like governor walz and keith ellison know exactly what they thought about this blatantly political acts of voter suppression. >> we are not allowed to this rally. >> he does not represent the free people.hi >> we are so mad. >> recall him! >> recall walz! >> recall walz! >> recall walz! >> laura: our own raymond arroyo spoke to these reporters on their thoughts of being politically held back, just four days from the election.
11:16 pm
>> as you can see, laura, this minnesota rally is not going exactly as planned for president trump. the governor here restricted attendees to 250, even though there are thousands behind barricades here outside the rally. we spoke to some of the attendees. >> your reaction to your governor, governor walz and keith ellison, limiting the amount of people here. there are thousands of just outside, only 250 people allowed inside. >> it's classic. governor walz is trying to shut down trump, he's trying to shut down america.e' he's shut down minnesota. why let something be successful and let half the people have freedom? >> he's never complained about the protest or stopped any of those. the weather will not drive me out of the state, the politics might. >> president trump: i want to thank the thousands of people outside barred from entry by radical democrats. you are american patriots.di >> what do you make of your governor restricting the amount of people that can get into this rally? >> let's get rid of him. get rid of him. we wantt our state back. >> they are scared, they don't
11:17 pm
care, we're here for freedom and we want to make america great again. >> we have our freedom, we have a right to assemble, we are here doing it peacefully. >> hands down, you're not going to stop us, and we will continue to believe in our freedom.p a b we will tell joe what we want. we are americans, we are minnesotans, and we are free. >> dr. fauci called for a mask mandate last week. this isn't a political statement like those ugly folks over there beeping the horns. >> he said they are ugly folks. your reaction? >> shocking and a lie. lying joe biden. >> i'm a little ugly, but i would say that he is out of his mind. he's not in touch with reality. >> look around here, there's a lot of beautiful people here. we are all here to support our great president. >> why did you decide to do
11:18 pm
this? >> we drove from minneapolis. twe knew we weren't going to gt in even though we had tickets we thought we would be part of the crowd, be part of the support and see what's happening. >> my president trump, he is very true to his word. he is all about america, he's all about the people. >> what is it that makes you stand out in the cold and support him? >> freedom. >> he loves america, we love freedom, exactly right, freedom. we love and support our president. he's pro-life, he's the first president was spoke at a pro-life rally. >> what's the issue for you? >> it's pro-life. i'm a one issue voter. >> we live in a free country, we have rights, we want to see the president talk. >> at many of the biden rallies the cars on the periphery don't even react when the candidate
11:19 pm
appears up podium. that's not the case at the trump rallies, even outside, they have huge crowds. this will no doubt translate into those two most important factors come election day. enthusiasm, and momentum. the president is leaving nothing on the table, he is at least 13 events planned between now and election day. back to you, laura. >> laura: fantastic package. i'm getting teared up here. those people are awesome. coming up, as some officials in the u.s. push for them here, we are going to hear from someone who lived through australia's lockdown nightmare. white house covid advisor scott atlas responds to all those critics, stay there.
11:24 pm
>> australia is a country that has done quite well, i believe. i would like to say the same for the united states, but theo numbers speak for themselves and we are essentially still going on a day-by-day basis getting worse and worse. >> laura: what would that mean, if australia is doing quite well, okay, dr. fauci would like us to be more like australia. the covid outbreak in australia has been relatively mild, their
11:25 pm
containment efforts turned a once-free country into a dystopian nightmare and places what happened in the countries second-largest city of melbourne. for 111 days, do the math, of how many months that is, most businesses were closed, hundreds of thousands lost their jobs people were forced to stay in their homes except to get food and work. the government even put limits on how much time people could spend for outdoor exercise, l ad even though the lockdown was technically lifted yesterday, residents are still prohibited from going outside the city limits. joining me now live from melbourne, is someone who is living in this situation, gideon rosner, director of policy at the institute of public affairs. thank you for joining us during your interesting time there. some might say that relatively low count of active cases proves that everything you did for months and months and months of
11:26 pm
lockdown works. what's the response? >> my response is that australia, we are very lucky that we had a very mild onset of the coronavirus. anthony fauci himself has said this.et it's because we don't have what theyey do in europe. like president trump, they shut down travel from china early. he was criticized for doing it but itt gave us an advantage. what's different about melbourne, never allowing private security guards, becausr of the diversity and inclusion policies. since then, as you said, we have endured a 111 day lockdown. we've seen old ladies being kicked off of park edges. a pregnant woman was arrested
11:27 pm
outside of melbourne for making a facebook post about ana anti-lockdown protest despite the fact that the policece here have allowed protests to go ahead no worries. we are living proof of the biggest incursion into our liberties that we've ever seen in australian soil. americans want that, vote for joe biden. as far as i can tell, donald trump is the only thing standing between americans in that situation. you have apresident who is talking about keeping things open. >> laura: a dr. fauci is trying to say, we are not for lockdowns. saying that because they are increasingly unpopular in the midwest where i am right now in minnesota, i just saw thousands of people, they don't want anymore lockdown. they want to wash their hands, they want to wear masks, but they do not want restrictions on their freedom.
11:28 pm
i have to tell you, this medical expert on another cable outlet msnbc, said this last night. >> look at australia. they've been effectively controlling the pandemic and controlling it without a vaccine. what have they done? they followed the standard rulebook for public health. they've identified to people infected, isolated them quarantine them for someme time. we should do that in america. >> laura: gideon, what's your message the medical establishment? he's the poster child for the medical establishment pushing this nonsense. >> that's exactly the sameme attitude that we've had in melbourne. the american people -- i would say, give a bloke who makes anthony fauci look like albert einstein. we've given him complete control.
11:29 pm
as a result, as i said, we've seen enormous to our freedoms we see an increase in suicide my work permit until very recently, i was forceded to cary unless i was checked by the police in the street to presenty my papers to show i was allowed to be outside my own home. i could have been fined up to 7,000 u.s. dollars. the medical establishment will always do what the people do, the people have to reject the hell we've been through in melbourne. >> laura: it seems like a lot of people in melbourne likes lockdowns and unjless to say no to lockdowns and vote out these people, putting mr. andrews about these people out, you're going to keep
11:30 pm
getting the same thing in the united states.s. i don't think people want them anymore. thank you so much for joining us and telling the stories. it is terrifying. as melbourne solely exits this lockdown, the u.k. is about to shut down again. the times reports prime minister is preparing to roll out new national lockdown restrictions next week. joining me now, covid advisor scott atlas. election is four days away. americans are worried about covid, there are some rising case numbers and some rising hospitalization numbers, but the freedom question lingers. what's at stake here right now? >> thanks for having me. they have to realize the failure of our public health officials. lockdowns don't eliminate the virus, all lockdowns do are destroy families, kill people miss medical care that's very serious, destroy the children
11:31 pm
and then after you open up the lockdown, the virus is still there. we see in europe, it's amazing to me the places like the u.k. and france have not learned their lesson and hopefully, the american people understand how to use their vote to stop that kind of thing from happening.. lockdowns destroy people, particularly working-class families. >> laura: there is also reports of dissension in the coronavirus task force, there is -- apparently dr. birx says that she will not sit in a meeting with you ever again and listen to you pontificate on the pandemic.wi this was late summer when she said this.ak what's up with that? are you guys on speaking terms? >> well, i can't speak for dr. birx, she is working hard sending her personal message about policy. my policy is the president's policy because that's what the
11:32 pm
science is. it protected the high-risk people, open up schools, open up society. it not lockdown. lockdowns are failure. it's in concert with the scientists, more than 11,00000 medical epidemiologists have signed on to this sort of policy. despite what you hear, that is the science. s you can't just say you want to follow the science and then act contrary to the science. we are following the science. the science says, and to cklockdowns and to do everything you can to protect the high-risk people. that's what this administration is doing, and they are doing it very well. >> laura: thank you for joining us tonight, wonderful to see you as always. up ahead, what's the real story of the computer store owner who came into possession of hunter biden's laptop? his attorney joins us next to deliver new details aboutf the fbi's refusal to take the laptop in the first place. you do not want to miss this one. history
11:35 pm
also destroyed the lives of thousands of jewish survivors still suffering today. god calls on people who believe in him to act on his word. "comfort ye, comfort my people." especially during this holiday season of hanukkah. when i come here and i sit with lilia i realize what she needs right now is food. these elderly jews are weak and they're sick. they're living on $2 a day this now, is how god's children are living. take this time to send a survival food box to these forgotten jews. the international fellowship of christians and jews urgently need your gift of $25 now to help provide one survival food box with all of the essentials
11:36 pm
they critically need for their diet for one month. your special holiday gift will provide everything they need to celebrate the miracle of hanukkah. this is the first time in over 70 years that she has anything to do with faith. the communists came and wiped it out. and now we're coming to her and saying, "it's okay to have faith." it's okay to light the hanukkah candles. for just $25, you can help supply the essential foods they desperately need for one month. i just want to encourage all of you to join with yael eckstein and the wonderful work of the international fellowship of christians and jews. god tells us to take care of them, to feed the hungry. and i pray holocaust survivors will be given the basic needs that they so desperately pray for to survive.
11:38 pm
>> laura: we all know about >> laura: we all know about hunter biden's laptop and the emails exposing the seedy business deals. what about the computer repair shop owner who first brought it to life. that name is named john paul mac isaac. his lawyer will be here, but first the back story. attorney to isaac's hunter biden dropped his laptops for repairs, but never came back to pick it up. after news broke ofrs hunter's ukraine dealings, isaac was concerned hunter's computer held files that were pertinent to an investigation, so he and hisl father decided to notify theti fbi. the fbi finally got back to the isaacs in october of 2019. two months later the fbi the
11:39 pm
seized the laptop and all redolent documents. not before he copied the hard drive for an abundance of caution. over the course of the impeachment trial, he wondered why no one referenced the fact thaton the fbi had his laptop. he tried blowing a whistle, but was ignored. now finally in september 2020 after he had exhausted all of his options, isaac reached out. joining me now is brian della rocha, isaac's personal attorney. now, why did the fbi wait until trump's impeachment to reach back out? did you ever find out? >> i can't answer that question, but i can tell you
11:40 pm
that my client was very frustrated by the way the fbi treated him and his father. they came to the fbi reallyth wanting to provide them with information that could be relevant to the investigation and instead of taking the information, they turned him away. so that was frustrating. he did not come back to them for another few months.on at that point they finally delivered a subpoena and he gave up the computer. he didn't need the subpoena, he would've done it anyway. >> laura: this is what adam schiff had to say after the story broke. >> laura: he basically alleged that your client is a russian agent, that he basically -- the smear comes from the kremlin. is your client a russian
11:41 pm
agent? >> my client couldn't be anything further from a russian agent. unfortunately, this is what's happening today, my client did the right thing, he turned in the information that he thought might be relevant to an investigation that was going onl essentially was thrown under the bus. he is a citizen, great american and instead of looking at what he has, people just started calling him a russian agent, saying he was part of some dis- information campaign, and he couldn't be further from that he comes from a long line of military veterans. his father is a retired colonel u.s. air force and a vietnam vet. he would never do anything to hurt this country.
11:42 pm
>> i have a question, when they say the laptop was dropped off by someone who claimed to be hunter biden, do they have video surveillance short of who comes in and out of the store? can you back it a up to the time where the computer was turned in or no? >> it's my understanding that the feed does not -- does not stay around for too long. it records and then -- it is recorded over eventually. we have other ways we have confirmed that it's his laptop. >> laura: why did he feel the need to make a copy of the hard drive, was that ethical?ic >> i mean, honestly, look at what's happened. he was doing it because he wasy, seeing other people go through this type of situation, and he just wanted to protect himself. what we are doing, we are working with the forensics expert to make sure that if anyone says that this is wrong that he lied, you can show them. >> laura: we will have to bring you back, this is a wild story. we have a big celebration
11:43 pm
coming up, stay there. on, coming up, stay election... (fisherman vo) how do i register to vote? hmm!.. hmm!.. hmm!.. (woman on porch vo) can we vote by mail here? (grandma vo) you'll be safe, right? (daughter vo) yes! (four girls vo) the polls! voted! (grandma vo) go out and vote! it's so important! (man at poll vo) woo! (grandma vo) it's the most important thing you can do!

11:52 pm
>> laura: i'm so sorry, this is a running joke for us. i'm so sorry. my earrings are falling off i'm laughing so hard. >> your first mardi gras, what is this like? >> it's freezing. i've got to do better than that now i know how to do it. >> nice! >> laura: is that it? >> oh, my god! >> laura: raymond! >> i'm sorry, laura. you are the worst. >> laura: and that's the angle. and that's the angle. and that's the angle, and that's the angle. okay, the earring thing is really -- now i actually have pierced ears now. here is raymond arroyo, raymond i mean, happy anniversary.
