the election results for joe biden as did philadelphia but the trump team legal fight continues. a third circuit court has agreed to review a lower court decision to throw out a lawsuit asking to delay pennsylvania's certification. pennsylvania does not have a clear date by which it needs to certify its results although other swing states do. arizona hasn't on november 30th while wisconsin and likely nevada have until december 1st was the electors meet december 14th to formally certify the election. the incoming administration is set to introduce key foreign policy and national security cabinet members as appointees from delaware. yesterday president-elect biden and vice president-elect harris found the choices the best america has to offer. they include anthony lincoln for secretary of state, john kerry will be appointed climate czar and admiral haynes will be the first woman to serve as director

a man has been arrested for the deadly attack, police have not released his identity. >> seattle city council cutting its police budget by 20% overnight, the council approving the cuts as part of the $6.5 billion spending plan for 2021. only one councilmember voted against the plan and only did so because she wanted a bigger cut. mayor durkin says she will sign the budget into law next week. it comes as the city faces officers with 144 leavings this year. shannon: donald trump could find himself once again on the ticket in 2024. a new poll showing two thirds of republicans would support him for president next election, 80% say they want them to keep guiding the party but joe conscious of the aces none of this is surprising. take a listen.

>> i think the most interesting thing about all of biden's picks news they are the opposite of what donald trump is tried to do over the past four years which is put america first, these pics are a reversion to the obama administration. if you like what was going on in the obama administration where america was last, bowing to foreign nations you will love what president biden is picking for his cabinet. tony lincoln served in the clinton and obama administrations but once he left the obama administration in 2017 he cofounded an organization consulting firm that helps companies outsource their jobs to china. the exact opposite of what donald trump is doing in office. >> let me show our viewers the statement from the biden folks on these nominations, their accomplishments in diplomacy are

>> good to see you. >> as we head into thanksgiving a lot of people apprehensive about what they can or can't do. give us some sense of where we stand with so many improvements, so much vaccine news, are we going to see a light at the end of the tunnel? >> we are a lot smarter than we were before. in the spring we were talking about we were likely to have two peaks, one in the spring that would get better as the summer came on and probably another one in the fall flu season which is what we are seeing now. and the new one we are seeing it more in rural areas been focused on urban areas. we have a lot more treatments that are available across the board. >> this graphic explains new york presbyterian doctors and reflect on covid-19 improvements and you will see sufficient quantities of ppe, higher availability of ventilators, more testing available, knowledge of kidney issues

caused by the virus and things like that and telehealth treatments. assuming you would go ahead and agree with all that, if you don't, correct me, what have you learned in the last few months, what have you seen specifically that is different now and i imagine the mentality with the knowledge we have developed in the last eight month also makes a difference? >> we now know it is a multispecialty approach, there are lots of different things, for example taking care of diabetes, managing glucose very early on, we see blood clots early on in these cases and so being able to give them a blood thinner is very important early on but it also doing simple things like what we call crony. the way we normally treat patients, having them lie on their back in the icu or the beds might not be as good under

coronavirus, laying on your stomach actually allows you to expand your lungs a little differently and better so we are getting a lot smarter with that. we have a lot of different drugs that are out now. none that are at your for this but are leading us down interesting paths, things like use of plasma and in a few years we will see some technologies where we are going to be able to have this plasma available for a number of different ailments and be very directed with it and also -- >> great point. you mentioned the plasma and if you look at the timeline of the advances we've had, going back to august 20 third the convalescent plasma in october, written -- remdesivir, modernand their effectiveness and pfizer and where we are now with regeneron, the antibody

treatment and astrazeneca, and as it relates to urban versus rural areas getting hit quite significantly are you concerned that people will engage these new technologies and ultimately be apprehensive about taking the vaccine? >> the newer technologies are going to be -- they are helpful right now, getting them dispersed to some of the rural areas is difficult because of the number of patients who might be involved, these treatments we have, we don't have at your but we are saving some lives, a lot of lives we would have lost and looking at the vaccines, we have 3 vaccines right now in phase 3 trials and i know of several more that are really coming up and what is interesting is they are all very different. what we don't know yet but we should learn quite a bit over

himself by writing a book during a pandemic and on every tv show and radio program to promote while missing 17 meetings with the white house to talk about coronavirus and the pandemic and what we can do is new yorkers to help others to save others. in the meantime we don't have our loved ones. he put 6000 covid-19 positive patients in nursing homes in march, april and may and i believe that is partly responsible for my father-in-law's death and we still don't have answers, we don't know the total number of deaths of seniors that got covid-19 and elder care facilities and died in the hospital. we have been wanting answers from this governor for many months now and we still don't get them, instead we get these self congratulations tour from the governor in his book and his emmy award. >> you mentioned celebrity,
