the safety of taking the vaccine. how safe is it and how concerned are you as a doctor that people may be hesitant to take the vaccine once it is available? >> i believe the vaccine will be safe. the companies have done their research on significant numbers of clinical trials, 30,000 people, massive clinical trials undertaken for these vaccines. the fda doing its normal usual job of evaluating the safety profile of the pfizer vaccine and i hope they expedite that because losing 1000 people a day we need this soon. as far as vaccine hesitancy, going to people who are vaccine hesitant, the worst thing we could do is policies of the makers would be to mandate a vaccine, that is never going to be a good idea. voluntarily people should have

griff: please explain. >> reporter: moderate joe biden won the primary, got co-opted by bernie sanders and aoc of the rest and ran on a radical platform. if the republicans hold the senate with the gains they made in the house that is a clear mandate to compromise and move away from things like terribly high taxes and nationalizing health insurance and the rest of that nonsense in the platform. jillian: let's look at president-elect biden's tax plan that includes increasing top income tax rate to 29%, payroll tax for those earning 400,$000 a year, raise capital gains tax, increase corporate taxes to 28%. with all that being said you talk about why joe biden should hope the city remains republican but why should the rest of america especially those on the far left, how is it going to benefit them? >> we all benefit from a growing

economy and we rely on high technology, research and development and fund that with venture capital by opposing a 57% tax on capital gains for angel investors and so forth, we are seeing don't invest in my technology. in ireland it is more than 50%, guys and gals never take the money out, reinvesting and so forth. as a consequence it ends in their estate. we could be paying 57% and another 45% estate tax reforms on top of what is left, getting a nickel on a dollar or something, nobody is going to invest in that. joe biden's left-wing friends seem to think some people want to give their money away for no good purposes. do you know anybody who would invest in an effective return of

jillian: seattle city council cutting its police budget by 20% approving the cut as part of the city at $6.5 billion spending plan for 2021. only one councilmember voted against the plan and that was because she wanted a bigger cut. mayor jenny durkin will sign the budget into law next week as the city faces in exodus of offices with 144 leaving this year. griff: time to check in with janice dean. i am in washington. feel like i might have my turkey outside on thanksgiving. >> we could get some rain on the east coast but nothing significant which is good news, we are not talking about dick outbreak over the country so another piece of good news. let's look at temperatures, so cool but mild for much of the country the next couple days.

we are not going to see any of that arctic air which can happen this time of year and sometimes we can get some severe weather across the country, we are not talking severe weather at all just nuisance rain, nuisance snow, depending what the temperature is and dealing with the system across the central us over the next couple days across the east coast, thursday into friday. your forecast radar, the northwest, and settled coastal rain and mountain snow, travel delays, you're not traveling this year. the potential for some travel delays in the northwest, otherwise fairly quiet and no major cold outbreak so that is good news.

of my employees make $350 a week available in michigan, many on economic stimulus or call it unemployment for 20 weeks during the first shutdown so not a lot of time left for the unemployment money. during the holiday season, with no jobs, to each and every one. jillian: tell me why this affect the entire restaurant industry for a long time to come? >> the hit -- the hidden issue is a lot of employees are going to be forced to look for other jobs. the only industry that has been singled out twice this entire year, a few shutdowns not especially tied to restaurants. i can't blame them for not bidding on restaurants for their livelihood and this will create

restaurants wednesday, starting at 5:00 pm wednesday and 8 am thursday, bars are now fighting back, pennsylvania's licensed beverage and tavern association released a statement saying we get the importance of keeping patrons safe and industry works hard to do so every day but what we don't get is why there has been no significant financial help to assist our small businesses, license restaurants to survive. they make a good point. shutting down bars and restaurants on the busiest day for kids to get together and go out. obviously that presents health challenges but those businesses that are already struggling in pennsylvania should expect to be struggling a little more given the new mandate. jillian: i rarely offer opinions on much but i feel like restaurants have struggled so much this entire year, let people have dinner and a drink.

picks that have been announced so far. as we just referenced in that sound bite a couple seconds ago. let's start off talking about lincoln. obviously hlynn blinken that has with biden announced in this show and in that clip. what do you know about him and what do you think the next four years looks like with him on the national stage? >> >> well, if trump was the ultimate outsider, right? then blinken and the rest of joe biden's picks are the ultimate insiders. washington, d.c. insiders. so for those people who wanted a return to the swamp, who want -- who didn't want it drained in the first place, and for those people who stood by silently when intelligence agencies were used to spy on personal citizens illegally, and when illegal application us were made to the fisa court which have now been determined to be illegal, and who stood silent, while the -- one of the greatest lies in history was perpetuated on the

american people, which was that the president that they had elected and chosen was an asset for vladimir putin, if you are one of the people who want you had to bury all of that, who doesn't want accountability, who wants a return to the iran deal. who wants to spend trillions of u.s. taxpayer money getting back into the paris climate accord, and going back to the policies of the obama ear remarks then you will be a big fan of these picks which, of course, is most of the media, right? because they didn't say much when these deals were being done in the first place and when trump pulled out of them, you heard, you know, every complaint you could possibly think of about how he didn't have a right to change policy and he didn't have a right to exercise any of the functions of his office or do any of the things that he was actually elected to do by the people who voted for him. so, i mean, blinken is one of those who was close to john brennan and he is one of those who was silent when all of these people knew that there wasn't any evidence that trump was colluding with vladimir putin or that he had stolen the election.

so, really what you have a group of people so far who are not going to impress for accountability and probably going to double down on many of those policies, some of which were really harmful to the u.s. people. griff: talking about those policies and return to them us have covered the border so well for us at fox news. one of the people there was the number two at dhs, instrumental in creating daca. we are now seeing at this very moment october numbers a surge. the border apprehensions are rising again. how concerned are you that putting someone like miorkison could return to the problems that president trump tackled when he came into office? >> the thing is my concern doesn't really matter in the sense of what i think is an important. it's when you look at things, for example, mexico's ambassador to the united states, immediately after the election, made a big speech saying that

the u.s. now has to embrace immigration on a global scale and open its doors to people and also embrace culturally and politically the concept of immigration as being, you know, globally something that needs to be embraced by all countries. and so, what you are seeing already and what you are hearing down on the border during the election is that there was a build up of people that were waiting to poo pour across the border if biden should get elected. elect biden pulls back like putting the national guard on the border and not letting the people to cross that could change the dynamic significantly. one thing people haven't talking about customs and border protection; they have been testing everybody that they can been catching illegally. extraordinarily high number of them are testing positive for
