this chair tomorrow and friday. we will be back on monday. have the best thanksgiving. see you soon. >> happy thanksgiving to you and your family. welcome to "hannity." i am jason in for sean. tonight with cases of covid-19 on the rise democratic governors are in full-on panic mode. this is especially true in new york where infections are spiking. new york is already home to america's second highest covid-19 death rate due to governor cuomo nursing home fiasco. according to hollywood andrew cuomo is a hero. >> to my governor.

6:04 pm
americans will be vaccinated by the end of 2020. this is incredible. we should be celebrating this moment right now. not to mention regeneron the antibodies treatment shipped 35,000 doses under operation warp speed. this is one of the treatments that has proven to keep people out of the hospital. rather than people up and arms right now about other things, we should be celebrating true scientific discovery. >> jason: if donald trump had not put this in motion you can only imagine where we would be at. pete, what has so many people outraged is the blatant hypocrisy. we could go for hours talking about the hypocrisy. from your perspective, what are you seeing? >> it is hypocrisy.
6:05 pm
of course it is. at a more fundamental level these leaders know what they are doing is silly. it's disrespectful. it doesn't apply common sense to average people who know the science and understand the stats who know more about covid-19 today than they did 8 months ago when this all started. they will make the best decision for their family and their livelihood. when you disrespect common sense people reject mandates that on their face are silly and their own leader circumvents because they can make the best decision for themselves. like policy makers understand average people can make. it's hypocrisy. it is. and they should set the example. they know what they are mandateing to other people is disconnected from the reality of

governor gavin newsom who was not only eating a dinner breaking all the rules he imposed but with a bunch of medical lobbyists. top brass doctors in california. in a public health crisis the most important thing is public trust. they broke that over and over again. i call it elitism these are the same people who go about their lives and see their families and go to expensive gatherings with friends. they are crushing the hopes and dreams and livelihoods of millions of americans. in california 19,000 businesses have been destroyed result of the lockdowns. when you have politicians breaking their own rules, 2 things happen. if you are dealing with a serious disease people don't believe what they are saying. that results in people not
6:08 pm
following the rules to stop the spread. if they don't believe their own rules, why should the people they claim to be keeping safe follow that? it's a double edged sword. cuomo is being celebrateed in hollywood shows what this is about. one set of class rules for one set of people and others having to follow the rules destroying generations of family businesses going forward. >> jason: dr. nicole saphier, a curfew at 10 o'clock? no california in pennsylvania after 5 p.m.? that's something to do with covid. when you look at the
6:09 pm
restrictions what makes sense and what doesn't? >> well, jason, you need to follow the science. a glaring example of not following the science in l.a. county shutting outdoor dining. the journalists asked what cases have been traced back to outdoor dining and she said she did not know. she cited a cdc study that said people with covid had eaten at a restaurant. that doesn't mean they caught it at a restaurant. 61% increase in hospitalizations in l.a. county and that's serious. we need to take this virus seriously until we get the vaccines here. use physical distancing and try

6:12 pm
afraid of the press corps. if you look at the last 4 years, he has taken more questions, has been more accessible than any other president in history. we are talking about a president there for 4 years. i would think that the president has likely been told by his legal team he cannot answer any questions regarding the legal process going right now and on-going as far as investigators into voter fraud and so on. he wanted to make a statement around the dow hitting 30,000 and a third company coming up with a vaccine which is the president's legacy. the fact these vaccines have come out so quickly before anybody ever could have predicted. that's something that probably those questions would not be focussed on. they would not be focussed on the economy. it would be mr. president, you have not conceded.
6:13 pm
he decided to get out of there. he understands what the press corps is going to do in those situations. >> jason: donald trump should be winning awards for his openness and transparency. the most accessible president we have ever seen. i want to talk about the core message of what happened. it's remarkable. you touched on it, joe. emily, you have new vaccines coming out in warp speed. operation warp speed. the dow hitting 30,000. that helps all americans. >> that's right, jason. we know that the market likes certainty. the gsa announcement today was responsible for that final push across the 30,000 line. but the reason this landscape led up to it is because during this administration, the burden
6:14 pm
of taxes and over-regulations in combination with unburdening the free market and operation warp speed that's how the dow reached 30,000. the s&p 500 up 12%. if it goes higher the first time in history it was down 30% and finished higher. this affects all americans positively. the fragillity of this we can't ignore that. we are facing down an administration who backs these over-broad executive orders threatening people with jail and fines and closing small businesses. 1 in 5 business owners are not sure they will make it to the end of the year. these play out in the miracle --

president trump, he takes questions and takes the fire. joe biden and kamala harris have not done either. that's what you will see for the next 4 years as well as far as 2 candidates and 2 people that will be president and vice-president who are afraid of the press corps that is friendly to them. >> jason: emily, i see peter doocy out there trying to pepper joe biden with a question. he never makes himself available. how do you think america will react to the no news joe biden? that's not who we are. >> hopefully it will be a bipartisan consensus it is unacceptable. hopefully they won't make it acceptable. the reality is that the office
6:18 pm
of the presidency deserves respect but also deserves scrutiny and challenges. without it, after the 4 years with the left in the media, the opposite is just as unhealthy. i hope we can look forward to the end of the softball or no questions and insight into the presidential office from day-to-day. >> jason: the lack of curiosity from the media. millions of americans have figured out what that game is. thank you both. have a wonderful thanksgiving. a breaking news report about michael flynn and joe biden introduced his foreign secretary

congressman there is a consequence to america not having a debate on foreign policy. it's a strong point for donald trump. there is no better difference or bigger split between joe biden and donald trump than foreign policy. when you see this cast of characters coming into play, how do you look at that? >> a couple of things strike me, jason. i would say these guys really spend too much time watching hollywood movies. the last 4 years it's like a weird star wars freak. now they are calling themselves the avengers. the reality is these are people that are so dirty that they likely were involved in the dirty dossier itself. we interviewed jake sullivan in our committee. we will have to go back and look

at his testimony. i sometimes wonder is this a pick because this is somebody who knows where all of the bodies are buried? or was he picked because he went to the right conferences? either way we are looking at turning back the advances that donald trump made. to the surprise of everyone including myself in terms of getting nato to pay up and moving the embassy to jerusalem and ensuring our troops come home. that was done over the last 4 years. i am not sure what their plans are because joe biden never came out of the basement to answer these questions. >> jason: no, he didn't. you studied it this. -- go through this and what the implications will be? >> well, they are all obama, biden and hillary clinton

retreads. it's america last leading from behind. i expect an apology tour. they want to rely on multi-lateral institutions like the united nations and the dysfunctional nato and alliances as the "wall street journal" says only hurt america and empower our enemies. jake sullivan pedalled the phoney dossier and the trump russian collusion lie invented by his boss hillary clinton. he was knee-deep in the email scandal. he was sending top secret classified documents to hillary clinton's private server. he should have been prosecuted. thanks to the misfits like james comey and peter strzok he was never prosecuted.
