griff: the president says massive fraud exists. we've not seen that evidence, judges are not siding with the trump campaign team. is a former member of congress, the president continues this legal fight but not winning, at what point does it begin to jeopardize republicans running for office? we start looking to the next cycle. >> this is important for the next cycle. it will not affect republicans, it will protect the integrity of the vote. a lot of irregularities across the country specifically in wisconsin but michigan and pennsylvania and the massaging of the rules, if we take a hard look at what happened on november 3rd this year we can

make changes to make sure everyone gets one lawful vote. you don't get one vote 10 times or thousand times and the system will be reviewed and hopefully modified to make sure we don't have this happen again in future elections. once you have fairness in elections it is good for republicans and democrats but specifically republicans moving forward. carley: election workers in wisconsin will announce the results of the recount, the state will certify those results tuesday so what do you expect to happen there? >> the trump campaign, trump workers made challenges to ballots and they fall into three baskets the two are the most important, number one is in our state we have voter id law, you need id to vote. you don't have to share id if you are indefinitely confined so

if you're in a nursing home or disabled you can say that to the election board and they give you a valid but because of the pandemic specifically in milwaukee and the two counties being challenged the clerks said everybody because of the pandemic is indefinitely confined to the we will send everybody a ballot and no one has to show id. that's not what the law says and even in madison they had 206 locations where the poll workers went out to park and said if you didn't mail in the ballot we sent you come to one of these parks this weekend and turning your ballots. if you turn your ballot you are not indefinitely confined, you can go vote and show your id. another one, clerks contrary to law were told they can cure ballots so if you sign your name
