10:01 pm
a defiant response. acosta continued, "being at the white house is not an experience that would merit hazard pay, perhaps it's going to be approached differently." acosta will be rolling out the red carpet for joe biden. no rush or a hoax, impeachment hysteria, combative moments like this. watch. >> when the president is yelling towards the press, it's not helpful at times. >> let me ask you a question. jim, do you believe -- >> they aren't always close to being pushed. i always think -- > jim, i appreciate your speech. >> i think we saw the president's true colors today and i'm not sure they are red, white, and blue. >> tammy: acosta is one small part of a biased mainstream media mob. no one trusts them and for good reason but what we witnessed

over the last four years has been an absolute disgrace. here are just a few examples. take a look. >> is this president trying to impersonate hugo chavez, rest up there is a background to it. he is not sound mind. clinically, you look at it and say, is there something wrong there? >> he needs to be medicated and hospitalized. >> we can say that his words have absolutely emboldened white supremacists. he's clearly trying to ignite a civil war in this country. >> this is somebody in deep psychological distress right now. >> i'm thinking fidel castro, julius caesar, that was not an american president giving an acceptance speech. >> tammy: tonight as we speak,
10:03 pm
the same people you just saw are now switchingg gears. instead of attacking and investigating and probing come of the media is now attempting to shield joe biden from any and all negative attention. for example, you won't likely hear any coverage of biden's constant confusion like yesterday when joe called his running mate kamala harris the "president-elect." >> clearly and unambiguously urge to take the vaccine once it's available. i took it to instill public confidence in the vaccine. president-elect harris took hers today for the same reason. >> tammy: while joe is measuring the drapes for his provincial elect kamala harris, the fight for presidential integrity, asking thes. supreme court, absentee votes that did not follow the states own rules

and that there are enough examples to make trump the winner of the badger state. on capitol hill, missouri senator josh hawley plans to object to the electoral college results, citing major irregularities in multiple states.mu according to gallup, president trump has been pinned as the country's most admired man and as i point out in my article in "the washington times," he's not just mired but appreciated. whatever happens, donald trump will retain power and popularity unmatched by anyone in this country. joining this with reaction, fox news contributor joe concha and columnist miranda devine. thank you for joining us tonig tonight. >> thanks, tammy. happy new year. >> tammy: joe, let's start with you. obvious there isth no effort to even hide the bias. they seem to be thrilled to be
10:05 pm
able to admit they are going to give joe biden a pass to handle the situation differently. do you think that'll actually unfold properly? do you think they'll get frustrated with being treated like putin? >> look, tammy, the good news is if you yearn to an objective press, jim acosta has suddenlyin become invisible and irrelevant because he goes from being confrontational to coddling and that doesn't get you book deals. jim acosta got a g book deal in terms of the number of people who were interestedf in that. for jim acosta, there are no more interviews after white house press conferences where he can play the victim in the bottom line is i think now at this point if you are not going to challenge those in power, go work for the party that you supported. maybe go work for the dnc, go work for the biden and administration as a
10:06 pm
speechwriter. in acosta's case and some others in the white house press corps, they gave speeches instead of asking questions and taking policy positions imprisoning themselves as journalists when theys are actively activists. >> very good point. who knows. maybe that's exactly where he ends up. miranda, at the same time, we know donald trump regardless of what happens in a few days in january is not going anywhere. he will remain i would argue the most powerful man in the country. so are we going to see the media just continue on but may be by ignoring the biden demonstration completely and just continuing on with their hostile coverage of donald trump? >> hi, tammy. definitely because they are addicted to their crack cocaine donald trump hatred. and so in fact unfortunately tho people who tune into them. and i think they are going to have a terrible time when he goes. what will they do?
10:07 pm
they are already setting up this alibi you heard jim acosta say it. when joe biden comes in, there is going to be no reason to be hostile to him. i don't understand why. i don't think anyone really mind so much about their vitriol and unprofessional behavior thee lat four years if they kept it up for the next four years with joe biden. you know, you can be tough, you can be ruthless and uncompromising and a hold those in power for account. you can't have special rules for donald trump and different rules for joe biden. we saw throughout the campaign, the media gave joe biden a complete free pass. all foibles and problems and they are about to do it when he is going to be president. and that's actually dangerous for the country. >> it is. that's an excellent point and let's follow through on that. the american people have watched what happened over the last four
10:08 pm
years. we normally wouldwo rely on the mediaa to be able to keep us informed about facts of the matter. and yet if you are not going to be questioning what the president of the united states is doing, does not lead to an even further element truancy village menisci forthe governmen american people trust anything the media tells them at this point when you have this admission that they have no intention of being curious about what joe biden is doing? >> tammy, lets ask the american people. gallup did just a month ago and they found that 86%, an astonishing number, 86% of the american people thinks that the media is biased. 84% think that the media shares the blame for divide in the country for those two numbers are devastating. as they try to go back and play nice with the president, it gets even worse because theyec are nt holding the countable to power
10:09 pm
and that's what the fourth estate exist for. to hold those in positions of power accountable for their actions, asking the tough questions. joe biden, do you plan on expanding the supreme court, do you plan onte expanding the senate, do you plan on limiting the electoral college? fundamental changes to the country and you don't hear these questions being asked of joe biden because he has a predetermined list of reporters that he calls on that his staffers picked beforehand and he's not going to be able to get away with that forever because the onehe thing that we have gog for are those who want answers are that reporters, many of them, not all certainly, have tremendous egos that need the spotlight, they earn for it. you get to it by acting that way. >> tammy: they got used to it. miranda, there are more outlets, more ways for people to blame themselves. you can become an influencer in social media and we are now
10:10 pm
looking at the beyond her giving a pass to joe biden and saying nothing and lying by omission. we are dealing with direct censorship of ideas and thoughts and supporters of president trump across social media. we clearly should be concerned if donald trump himself will be able to access and be heard if he does continue as i hope you would to continue to influence the direction of the country. do you see that as being a major problem for someone like donald trump or anyone who is outside of the swamp who wants to have a voice? >> tammy, it already is. i have no doubt that twitter will deactivate donald trump account on noon of january 20. i would not put that past them. twitter, already on facebook, social media exerted, flexed their muscles and exerted their powerspo during the election campaign and that was seen most
10:11 pm
obviously in theirr censorship f the hunter biden story, the locking of "the new york post" twitter account. >> we've come to rely on it, right? it's almost like the bait and switch. come get involved in this, have the town hall, have these conversations and suddenly when the national conversation relies on the outlet, suddenly it's going to crush you. this is obviously a concern for all of us who care about the free nature of this country. i don't know how many will put up with it but then again we'll see when it comes to section 230 and whether or not these entities will be held to account. but even that, miranda, would change the format if you'll be able to be sued for what is said or what you do, don't you think they would crack down even more? >> i'm not sure that is the solution. you have a situation just like you did so with the railroads or
10:12 pm
the oil companies in previous eras. you know, you have these gigantic monopoly leaves that werere allowed to play the pac-n strategy and swallow up every other social media rival and now they have so much power over the communications, the way we communicate with each other and we saw also they intervened in n the election. >> >> tammy: exactly. miranda and joe, thank you. a lot of work coming up for the american people to say the least.tu let's turn to the ongoing crisis in america's major cities as police budgets are slashed, bail eliminated, felons granted early release from prison. violent crime has surprisingl nt surprisingly exploded. murders are up by 41%. in chicago, murders up by 54%. minneapolis, murders are up by 72%. in milwaukee, it's even worse. shocking 94% increase in murder.
10:13 pm
in nearly every major city, violent crime is on the rise in this great country of ours. that's not stopping the defund movements. a new york congressman elect just tweeted in response to the doj closing a probe into the tamir rice case without charging any officers, "a system this cruel and inhumane cannot be reformed. defund the police, defund the system that is terrorizing our community." meanwhile, former ambassador nikki haley blasting the let's say, "they demand freedom but want to control and silence anybody who disagrees with them for demand equality but want to build a new society based on discrimination. they are set on using the full force of government to achieve theirf vision. now customs and border patrol chief mark morgan is worried that if biden gets his way, this kind of work and sanity will extend to the border, creating

lawlessness and mass illegal immigration. joining us now with more is the author of "black out," candace owens along with sara carter. welcome aboard, thank you for being with me tonight. >> thank you. >> tammy: we are heading into a new year and that is usually a chance where we believe we can set things straight and have a fresh point of view and approach. clearly the left has an intention, sarah, they've got a mission. people think they won't apply it, but they do. you've got to believe the left, they will do what they say they want to do the matter how crazy it sounds. we've got this dynamic here, especiallyci with the dangers we've seen, the destructions of the defund the police movement. it's almost like horses running into a fire. how do you see this playing out in the first few months of next year? >> i'm so grateful for the fact that ambassador nikki haley did tweet that out today and she is
10:15 pm
sending a warning shot across the bow of what's happening to our country and i believe, tammy, that all of this happened while you were asleep. for decades we've seen these kind of policies embedie themselves in our university. we've seen the move throughout our political channels. we've seen the left, not just democrats -- not talking about liberals, i'm talking about extraordinary communist-socialist values. we are seeing in the city of chicago,ch over 753 people killd in violent crimes in chicago this year, over 440 in new york city? people paying the price of this are thee people in these communities, the people who need the police the most. ambassador haley is 100% right. these are hypocrites, liars, they are lying to the american people and the people in these communities need the police, they need law and order, they need people with common sense and certainly we are not seeing
10:16 pm
that. >> it's interesting. that, candace, nikki haley's tweets would make news because we don't hear many in the republican party being blunt about the destruction of this attitude and asde sarah noted, this is the inner city, these are urban areas. poll after poll, african-americans, black americans saying we need the police, those are the lives destroyed when you withdraw law and order.ke what's your take on this and how do you see this unfolding with the democrats coming up? >> i think you're absently right that republicans need to be more vocal about this stop and what it starts with is they have been so trigger shy becauserf they ae fearful of being called white and privileged and the fear of being called racist and that's problematic bear the facts are the facts of what we are seeing is inner cities, the very people we should be trying to protect, underprivileged people, minorities in inner-cities are
10:17 pm
suffering and i will say this, you're absolutely right. the left is boulder. they have no issue of saying something so insane, they are a post truth society, post george floyd, able to prove late all of their bad policies. you start to see this marxist ideology creep into the inner cities who wake up, feels like we are in a batman movie. it's like gotham city in these cities and who are stuck with the marxist ideology? is the minorities. when you say things like defund thery police, you tried to set a marxist proletariat war. they say, "look at you, working class, your real enemy is business owners." of course it's not. >> tammy: sara, what you alluded to as well, is the nature of this seemingly emerging but it was just never covered by -- what was going on at the universities were never covered. so all of these young people
10:18 pm
come out being indoctrinated into these communities, running for office, destroying those lives, and we don't know because thew media, they are now saying they will do with joe biden,, sara, they are going to choose to not say anything about what it is that might expose what's really going on. this is the danger to the country. >> right, tammy. instead of doing a job come and sit at telling stories, instead of questioning the policies in cities like chicago, in seattle where the chief of police, a black woman said, i'm resigning because you are defunding our budget and can even protect the people here in seattle. when you see what happens in portland. but when people refuse to cover the stories and, also, i think candace brought up such a significant point, when republicans shy away from the truth, they don't face the truth, they don't talk about it, they don't reach out to the minority communities, they don't realize that people in minority
10:19 pm
communities, i've covered them,o my mother was an immigrant from cuba. i understand what people are going through, communities reach out to them, they will tell us what we need. >> tammy: the fact you have to say that -- candace owens delma, we've had t donald trump and hes the first republican with an overture to the black community, what do you have to lose, seems like republicans have not learned anything from the most basic thing an american president can do is what your advice be to the republicans to carry on in the effect that trump for some reason isn't able to do it himself, that attitude about governance in this count country? >> you know what? my advice is never to politicians because my belief is in the people to wake up. the people living inside the inner cities, wake up and look you because you can now see in real life time what it is that you have to lose.
10:20 pm
you are losing your families, your neighborhoods are being destroyed by these policies and marxist ideologies. if you wake up and don't learn real history you will wake up and end up like cuba, venezuela, like russia, zimbabwe, like every other marxist ideological solidly before it. time to stop relying on politicians to tell them what's going on. spew an excellent point. for the three of us, this is not the traditional panel of who would be -- people in the inner city would be listening to, the messages we have from all of us. sarah, myself, a gay woman, thisis what matters. america matters, america first matters, that starts with people inop the inner city and the urbn areas. the great cities of this country. ladies, thank you very much for joining me. i appreciate it.

rachel campos duffy and fox news radio host larry elder. what's interesting to me is this is the perfect ending to 2020 because while it is bizarre andi kind of -- it's funny, but it is a perfect example, rachel, of what we have done with identity politics. we have incentivized being a minority, if you will. we have elevated it. while the other scary thing is she has a raised her actual own identity in the effort to become effectively someone else. whatat is your take on what this means? >> first of all, alec baldwin was in on all of this. he also said, my wife is from spain, theyey had a wedding with flamenco fans and the whole bit. it was not just hilaria, she's getting most of the negative attention from it, but you are absolutely right. we live in this race obsessed society.

all of us in this panel is from different races. the point is we are all friends and we have in common is is thingsco are much more importanr than race. ideas that we share, values we care about, we are all blessed to be americans. i find it very ironic that may be this fake baldwin heritage story might be able to do for america what the fake unity message from joe biden could not which is expose the silliness of identity politics and remind us that in the end what really matters is that we are all americans. >> tammy: larry, that's it. all of us have unique backgrounds. i am partly italian. doesn'tit mean i come from ital. what is your take, if this is serious in what this means about us as a culture? >> tammy, i'm reminded of something my dad once told me. he and i were watching the news and there's a story about elizabeth taylor being married and divorced eight times but i turned to my daded and said, wht

do you think about this? my dad said, what do you think about what? what do i think about elizabeth taylor being married eight times? i don't think anything about it. you don't't have an opinion? "larry, it ain't worth the energy to come up with one." i had no idea who this woman was. she had 806 the 2,000 followers on instagram. she now has 881,000. she picked up almost 21,000 in two days. as far as she's concerned, i'm sure she's laughing. mission accomplished. it has not been a good year to be a white american. rachel dolezal didn't want to be a white american.be elizabeth warren didn't want to be a white american. it's been a bad year for white americans. >> there are advantages of it. she was on the cover of "hola magazine."

>> tammy: we do have to go, but there's got to be some answers there. there should have been some kind of inquiry about this which would've been easy to find her background, even her husband could've done a simple google search. i think he knows. he's been playing along with it. but the media didn't care to take a look and that, of courseu remains another one of our problems in the years to come is an incurious media. rachel and larry, thank you for joining me tonight. happy new year again. thank you, all, for this special edition of "hannity." we will be back right after the break.
