apple's decision to support parler from their app stores after accusing the right-leaning social media platform of facilitating violence in the wake of the capital building riots. apple saying in a statement, we have always supported diverse points of view being represented on the app store but there is no place on a platform for threats of violence in illegal activity, parler has not taken adequate measures for a proliferation of the threats to people safety. on the contrary parler says it has taken steps to remove violent post that violate the platforms rules, the company says it's tried to work with big tech to no avail. >> they all work together to make sure at the same time we would lose access to not only our apps but they are actually shutting all of our servers off tonight off the internet. they made an attempt to not only kill the apps but to actually destroy the entire company.

terror attacks, you were undecided about sir, fighting the electoral college after the attacks you voted to certify, can you share why you changed your mind. >> i would not say i was undecided, this vote was not about donald trump or joe biden, this vote was about the constitution in the 12th amendment of the constitution is clear, the role of congress is to certify the electoral college, not determine the winner. if you believe in the constitution, you believe in state rights. the states have the right for better or worse to set their election laws, the state, all 50 states certify those election results. the trump campaign had over 50 lawsuits to prove their case of voter fraud in different types of irregularities, unfortunately all 60 cases were dismissed. and when all the state certified their votes not a single state legislature sent a message that

people on the left need to fan the flames on the left, joe biden had an opportunity and unfortunately he failed. i hope in the coming days he will get better to try to be a leader in unite as a nation. arthel: a couple of things i think i remember i watched the press conference when vice president-elect said he was responding when it is grandchildren that happened when the protesters were black, i don't want to stay on that because i like your idea of wanting to reunite and i'm wondering if the breach, the definition of the capital building with a wake-up call for lawmakers in both chambers and both sides of the aisle and he never answered, then how should president trump, or do you think president trump should be held accountable for what happened last wednesday? >> i think president trump should have already addressed the nation by now. i think the president should have a sitdown interview with someone to talk about his side of the story. it is very disappointing that

everyone is pointing fingers without having evidence of what truly happened, what happened was awful, i was there and i was on the house floor we were re-evacuated four different times because every route we went to was compromise. i saw up close and personal and it is a terrible situation that should never be repeated. i think the first thing we need to do as leaders in america is lower the temperature and try to come together, there will be plenty of opportunities to hold hearings, hold people accountable and i think if we will hold hearings on truly what happened, the cause is we need to hold hearings for the people that are upset in america that feel like there were irregularities in some of these states. it is not asking too much for speaker pelosi to form a commission to make sure if there were irregularities, that they can be corrected for the next election. arthel: congressman i think that

threat, they have 6000 national guard deployed for the next month an emergency basis, is that enough? >> you have to remember this is a special national security secret service doctrine very few happening, very well able to prepare a plan and respond to different things that can occur during the event. right now their unified command of the entire capital where law enforcement, state and federal and local will work together. the other thing we need to do is engage the country and the individuals to let them know what is and what is not acceptable and people who want to engage in protest, great but if you step over that line and engage in violence and disorder there will be consequences. i think we are seeing that with the video identifying suspects and police department going out to individuals that might've been in the crowd and we seen state legislators who had issues or concerns with constituents

and if it spreads rapidly here it'll make a really bad situation even worse. arthel: do you think the covid test that we have now in place will detected? >> the covid test don't check for the new variant or strain, it is possible to do that with anna genetic testing but we have not done that on a broad scale in this country yet. arthel: the national institute of health and the moderna are both together examining whether doses among moderna can be halved to double the supply, what do you think about this? >> take as directed, but sees the vaccine as they are proven to work, let's do the study, maybe it's the case that a half dose will work as much as a full dose, but that study has not been done and it needs to be done before we fiddle with the regiment and change things. the key for anyone who can get a vaccine to get at the moment
