this was the moment where i thought everything was over. todd: that statement opens up your eyes but your office is two doors down from aoc and you challenge aoc's statement. >> i saw the media reports, i said this -- there weren't rioters in our hallways banging down our doors that day. we were all barricaded in our offices which i'm not going to discount the trauma, the harrowing experiences each of us had. it was a very scary experience. i sent my kids homes at week because i was worried about violence. we have to be honest when we are telling stories because if we exaggerate claims it waters down the truth and authenticity of

everyone else that has share their story and the american people deserve the truth and it is a 7 to 10 minute walk away from the capital down where the violence was happening in 5 people died on capitol hill that day to politicize this kind of event, a dark day in our nation's history. to politicize it in the way she has is disgusting and no one should tolerate it. todd: she responded saying, quote, someone in a position of leadership like that the immediate instinct is to minimize, trying to fact check things survivors didn't say or claim is extremely damaging. will you speak to her about this in person? or is this playing out on twitter? >> i have never met her. i am very much focused on the business i was sent here to do.
