common side effects include headache and tiredness. ask your doctor today, if epclusa is your kind of cure. for trustee meeting this hour. thank you and good night. ♪ >> welcome to tucker carlson tonight. nothing changes in society long term more than the way we teach ou what we teach them and how we teach them. you want to pass on your values you tell your kids about them, so school matters mayma be more than anything and from the very first day and the indoctrination that your kids are suffering through. here is our first segment on it. >> i talked my class shortly after hillary clinton gave her concession speech and somebody,

and for many women it was something at the glass ceiling to break, to a spark to a woman asi president of the united states. i don't think it's about is you were saying being hysterical but it's about processing and having this a space to make sense of what happened. m >> i get it, but it's also about having safe spaces in the university of michigan law school where adults presumably attend, postelection self-care and food and play, so it saves is safe space for people to go to feel i don't know what and that is kind of the question. what is a safe space exactly? >> in my opinion, the role of higher education is to foster debate and also be cognizant of students that are convenient our campuses from many different backgrounds or it can get the role of the university in practical terms is not to foster debate, it's to squelch it. people who disagree are crushedd

and people who disagree with the herd are elevated. do you know a single depaul university president that said voted for trump and said so out loud. >> i do not talk about my self politically with my colleaguesp >> there isn't any at all. the whole idea of diversity is hat the airless room produces bad decisions. people from different walks ofol life with different views, iom think that's the underlying justification for it and in academia, there's no one disagrees on liberal orthodoxy. it was only four years ago and already it seems antique, people who disagree with each other talk into their disagreements. that doesn't happen anymore. the curriculum, so many schools has taken a much harder edge since that time from the extreme left wing to the outright totalitarian. we spent the last several years telling you what was happening at the level of higher education in colleges and universities. tonight we want to take you through what is happening inn high schools all across the country.
9:03 pm
we're going to start an buffalo. schools in buffalo have an office of culturally and linguistic responsible initiative. the first days of school lesson plan explicitly gets politicalia in very specific terms. do black lives matter in america? it begins. by the end it declares at the end of lesson students will be able to understand the need for the black lives matter movement here you have a school district endorsing a political movement. that is for little kids. by the time they hit the fifth grade, students in buffalo arere reading advanced blm study.m student learn about the core platform and that includes disrupting the western prescribed nuclear family structure. destroying the family, that's endorsed by buffalo schools. at the end of the program students are asked this, what do you think about our society being organized into a separate nuclear family unit. the implication is that your own family is immoral. public schools go on to suggesth

that george washington was a fraud, that colin kaepernick is a moral hero and that we shouldn't celebrate indigenousus peoples day instead of thanksgiving.ro we have no right to give thanks for a country that isn't ours. by the time they hit high school, students go out in the world ready to destroy statues.t they're asked explicitly, why would somebody engaging in rioting be protected under the first amendment? okay. this is everywhere,, by the way. it's happening in middle schools all over the country. they're celebrating something called the black lives matter week of action. black lives matter is a political party. and yet schools are endorsing it and its specific aims. cities that are doing this include seattle, oregon, los angeles the second largest in the country. milwaukee, boston, washingtonth dc and we could go on for the
9:05 pm
the lesson plan requires children to examine the ways the black panther party successfully functioned to preserve the values of the black families and villages. the blacknd panther party, racil separatists with a history of murdering people. of course that's rewriting history including recent history that all of us are familiar with. look at the image on the screen. this is from a third grade class in the fairfield unified school district. police respond only to blm rights. of course that's a lie. kids are being taught more broadly that the police are the problem, they're the ones that commits violence. this was posted on an online photo album that dc public schools black lives matter at school week of action. how young was the kid that was forced to draw a police officer shooting and killing someone? this is not education. but again, that's just the beginning. skills have eliminated biology
9:06 pm
and they're teaching kids that biology isn't real. how can you teach something that is fake? what are the guiding principlest the black life school curriculum is to be transgender affirming. so they have note choice. here is how one printed prekindergarten teacher teaching describe this principle. everybody has the right to choose their own gender by listening to their own heart and mind, everyone gets to choose if they are a boy or girl or both or neither or something else, and no one gets to choose for them. so science isn't real. again, this is being taught to children in schools in lieu of actual science.in this as religion, this is insanity, this is also required. parents could fight back and in some rare cases have. in november of 2019, they show highlighted in teacher training program in portland called deep equity. deep equity is to produce real
9:07 pm
school improvement for equity and social justice. in other words, not to teach children facts, but to brainwash them. according to deep equity, the point is to adopt a transformational's white identity we're white folks are attempting to come to terms with raised in a railway and questioa systemic issues that have caused waits to be in a much superior position. in schools they are teaching this. teachers are given white allies agenda items. quote see race, listen to andof learn from people of color.e acknowledge the reality of racism acknowledge that reality of white racial privilege. educate other white people. confront racist behaviorsra attitudes and practices. use your privilege to work for racial and social justice. we are going to look back at this and see it for what it was race hate. but deep equity has been used all over the country, even in places that probably didn't
9:08 pm
want it. in zip codes that are overwhelmingly. voted for donald trump by 25 points in 2016, but of courseld deep equity as part of that county's training. have parents done much? they may not know what's happening. deep equity was also used in chandler, arizona. the program according to the school district there cost $418,156 to implement, but after we featured deep equity on their show, parent stood up andui objected to it and deep equity was ended there.he this is happening all over the country. in school districts your kids may attend and you may not know about it. what can we do about it? what effect is that having on our children? heather is the author of diversity delusion. we are excited to have her on tonight per. heather, thank you so much for coming on. this is being taught everywhere, almost nobody is
9:09 pm
saying anything about it.. the passiveness of the population defies belief. but i'm wondering what you think the long-term effect is. >> it is civilizational crushing spirit killing and the long-term effect is to try to get the elites in this country to discard any remaining trade of meritocracy.y. the first obligation of education, tucker, is to be true. the black lives merit matter narrative is based on lies. it's a lie that the racism defines the shape of american society today. far more complex factors lieit behind the socioeconomic and racial disparities. family breakdown, culture attitudes towards academic achievement, and criminal involvement. far from being racist, every americans mainstream institution today gives preferences to blacks and hispanics of high
9:10 pm
-- hiring.rt so american should reject the black lives matter narrative and they should sure rejected in education where it is going to divide this country further and destroy any possibility of further civilizational advance. >> it's baffling to me the last administration civil rights division department of justice allowed the stuff to continue when it so clearly inle undisguised racial attack. singling people out by race and attacking them. it's hard to believe were allowing that in this country. how do you respond to it? >> there is a great asymmetry in our public discourse of the black lives matter biden narrative is allowed to denigrate i'm going to use the term, and this is very hot button, but i'm going to use the term white.e. it is explicitly, as you say, antiwhite. and when it's allowed to pile on, his inaugural address talked about the growing white racial inequities in this country, but you're not allowed to notice
9:11 pm
that and say that what is resulting from this is going toe be a race war. what we need are philanthropists that have some vision, that have some courage, to give parents a way out. not everybody can homeschool, we need to set up impregnable institutions that have managed their defining principle of the rejection of racial victim ologies and the ability to teach students to be proud of their heritage because it is worthy of that pride. >> i've got to say, and i share your instincts, it's crazy, get out, but the public schools were designed in part to unite the country to share an experience that every kid has and it's where we pass on ours have a country of shared values, so, if normal people or people have the means get out, you really do have a permanently divided country. isn't our goal unity? isn't that what i want the gold to be anyway?
9:12 pm
>> you've got to try persuasion but if that doesn't work, you've got to use exit. what it's going to take again the fundamental idea driving virtually all politics today is that racism defines everything you see about american society. we turnip alternative -- that are tough to articulate but must be said. as long as bias remains the only legislation for disparities, the left wins. >> i like the martin luther king goal which was colorblind meritocracy. k how hard would it be to return to that? >> very hard. but of course all these elites expect that their doctors are going to be chosen based on merit, their engineers are based on merit, but i can tell you that is a weak assumption. it is something you can no longer count on even the trump administration allowed the poison of identity politics to go into its stem funding. the biden administration is
9:13 pm
going to be hellacious. one's imagination cannot possibly fathom how much single colorblind standards of merit and achievement are going to be shredded under the biden administration.. we have to speak back. >> i hope none of their kids i hope they all go to community college. because you're right, this is the ruling class protectingy itself. >> thanks, tucker. >> the head of one public school is now calling for parents to abolish people with the wrong dna. this is insanity. at the country had better say so or dark days ahead. we will tell you where it's being said.

>> so much has changed in our schools from so much has changed in our schools that most people aren't aware of it. nobody said that out loud. you don't even have to attack what's happening in schools you merely have to read the lesson plans out loud. the details are horrifying. again, nobody ever does that, so tonight we're going too. public schools in seattle have begun teaching black lives matter lesson plans to students, a political party's platform being read as education
9:19 pm
to kids. teachers are told no matter their students age, they are nor too young to talk about race. according to the lesson plan in seattle, silence about race reinforces racism. which is untrue, it's a lie, but that is the lesson plan. educations are cautioned to treat everyone the same may be unintentionally oppressive. equality is racism.utna meanwhile in philadelphia elementary schools forcing fifth-grade students to celebrate blackem communism and simulate a black power rally in honor of angela davis a communist. jason rant radio show host in seattle has been on top of the story for quite some time. we're happy to have him on tonight. has anyone pushed back against what's happening in seattle schools?he >> yes, when parents figure oute what's going on, they push back.
9:20 pm
the problem is a lot of the parents didn't realize this was going to be part of the lesson plan. on paper when you're told your kid is going to be learning about equality or equity, that would make sense to the average parent who doesn't realize that schools mean something different when they say equity and equality. they're talking it in a pretty fringe political terms, not what normal people would generally think of when we say equity. when schools say equity, they actually mean different outcomes they don't actually mean equity. so there it is coded language here that they are not picking up on. what we held in most situation and the parent in the other room overhearing what their kid is being taught, all of a sudden wait a minute, this is wrong and they are speaking up. the problem is oftentimes their complaints are falling on deaf ears. >> how many people in seattle who were upset about the death of george floyd over memorial day realize that that event would mean their kids education
9:21 pm
was abruptly ended and replaced with political propaganda? do you think any of them knew that at the time? >> they probably didn't know that, but seattle is a pretty weird place, and mean half of them probably are not upset witc this. what seems clear is these kids are getting it both at home, but also now in the classroom in some cases.. some of this propaganda. your opening monologue said improper perfectly. when you're putting in front of kids as early as kindergarten and set of talking points to get them to believe something, it's much easier to develop and mold their minds into one particular perspective. when you're telling them as a kindergartner that black lives are intentionally targeted for demise, which is part of the lesson plan, or that any cars or ration of people is an active state violence. when you're giving them context free data points like black americans are killed at
9:22 pm
disproportionately higher rates than white americans. they're not understanding the nuance of these points, you're not giving them the context of why that might be. this argument tends to be lazy because you don't tell them why you don't give them any of the data that could make a better argument.he >> i appreciate you bringing this to light. thank you. >> thank you, tucker. >> this stuff festers and it will change the way this country operates long term because no one ever exposes the details to sunlight. some cases are too shocking and in others too embarrassing, but in many cases parents are too afraid. we will give you another example from new york city. the principal of eastside community school in new york has sent white parents something called a tool for action. this school tells him these parents must be white traders and then advocate for a full white abolition. white abolition, what does that mean?
9:23 pm
we are not sure. we have the tools for action call for dismantling whiteness and not allowing whiteness to reassert itself. if you want to make people super paranoid and crazy, say things like this out loud to their children especially since as far as we know commit you can't change your skin color. attacking people on the basis of it is always a dead-end. so why are we allowing it? the very first to report on this, the director of discovery we are happy to have him on tonight. frank, thank you for joining us. it's hard to believe these are direct quotes. >> it is, but tucker, this all emerges from that theory called the pedagogy of the oppressed is now being taught in school districts around the country. it comes from the 1960s and '70s brazilian marxist who said we need to use the schools to develop critical
9:24 pm
consciousness among students who will then grow up and have revolutionary potential to overthrow an oppressive society. when you look at these things in that context, they are using this very deeply divisivee regional language, not just for race itself, but to pursue this kind of radical marxist political program that i think underlies all of these specific examples you're tackling today.. >> is it legal to single out parents of children on the basis of their skin color for attacks? emily spent the last 50 years saying it was a bad thing? how is this allowed? saying it was a bad thing? how is this allowed? >> we have come a bit as she talked about with jason, they shift away from equality which was equal protection under the law which is equity. i'm working with the coalition to start filing lawsuits. we believe absolutely if against the violation of the civil
9:25 pm
commits emerged in the last few years. there isn't any caselaw. we're hoping he eventually to get to those supreme court and prove that these programs are not only morally bankrupt, but actually direct violation of the constitution and the civil rights act. >> of course they are, i would say that no matter which race is being singled out. this is a universal principle which we much defend. quickly, you're gatheringri coalition of people to finally fight back the republicans in congress are literally doing nothing to save the country. do you need in the course of talking to people any liberals to say, yeah, i'm on your side. we've always been against this we have to be against this. have you ever met any liberals like that? >> i do, but they're basically shamed and intimidated into silence.ou there is one community
9:26 pm
successfully fighting back, it's the asian-american community on the west coast. they're not afraid of being labeled white supremacist, which is absurd. they are really the last offenders of meritocracy, they want their kids to learn and succeed. they escaped the cultural revolution in chinaa and they've come here for the american system. they are not really the greatese defenders of it. i think we can look to them for leadership and alliances in pushing back. >> god bless them. they appreciate your coming on. they are changing the names of dozens of schools in order to fight the systemic oppression. they explain their reasoning and writing. may be one of them uses and funny we will tell you about it just ahead. you about it just ahead.

9:33 pm
mathematics. not making that up. that training teachers that white supremacy manifests itself in the focus on finding the right answer to math problems. algebra is racist. french revolution, anyone? libby evans is and she joins us tonight. this is one of those stories. it's hard to believe it's real. there are so many of those. how could math be racist since it's truly objective. it is now considered racist, so that is called is part of the problem we have right and wrong answers, you know, that's racist., there are several additional problems with this entire program, this is the idea that
9:34 pm
teachers are perpetuating racism in the classroom because they are racist. they are blind to their own biases, and they don't give any control over the weather or not they bring the racism with them. math is all-white discipline which even a modicum of research would tell you is absurd. and the concept of the soft bigotry of lowered expectation that tells people that studentse of color can't achieve to the given standard, so the standards need to be changed. the problem of course is kids aren't stupid, and they know when their being pandered to they know when their being patted on the head until that they're doing good job when they know themselves are not measuring up we also know kids thrive when they are held to account. any parent can tell you this when a child is expected to livp up to certain measure of responsibility, kids are able to thrive like that.
9:35 pm
they need that, they need to be able to take care of themselves, so, any good kid knows this. when we treat them like they're idiots, that they need to have interpretive dance lessons in order to learn math, they see right through that. they obviously do. i don't know is who is being fooled here. we're bankrupting our nation, or bankruptcy in these kids lives. the schools are closed, we are killing them that way. and we're also messing so much with the language, we are accepting the terms of leftist indoctrination, we are accepting these terms, antiracism. there is no reason for us to dot this. they're not real, they're not based in reality, and we're also -- >> you're right, and we're pretending that this is okay when it's not. it obviously picked up on that. it's good to see you, thank yout >> for the better part of the year public schools in san
9:36 pm
francisco have refused to educate children and have kept that doesn't mean there not doing anything. they're very busy, they renamed 44 schools because their names were racist. how are these names racist? they're names of people that were strongly against racism, so why did they do it? the school board made the mistake of putting their reasoning for each name change in the spreadsheet. each and take a look at the spreadsheet.es it's incredible how stupid these people are, the ones in charge of the schools. here is one example. abe lincoln's name was scrubbed from a high school because rampant corruption in the indian office and his administration. this is the guy who ended slavery, who signed the emancipation proclamation. he's gone. avcorruption in the indian offi. then they want to dianne feinstein's name from an elementary school. why was her name on a school anyway?
9:37 pm
but they're taking it off now. she is not woke enough. if dianne feinstein isn't woke enough for you, what is your school district like? lisa booth knows that. she joins us now. lisa booth, so this stuff never ends, i don't know why i'm laughing, it's a tragedy in motion, but rather than improve the schools, they spent the year as they kids languished and they change the names, on what basis did they change these names? >> because of course they're all racist.ur as you mentioned, that huge racist abraham lincoln. the research behind it is riddled in inaccuracies because they didn't consult historians, they looked at things like wikipedia and tvl shows as the basis of some of their decision-making and information and what it speaks to is this level of mediocrity not just in our public schools but society as a whole. that these kinds of decisionsoc and discussions, they don't hav to be rooted in fact
9:38 pm
particularly when their being done in the name of woke this but as you pointed out what is sad in all of this is that the children lose, the students lose because you look at san francisco, 70 percent of white students are proficient in math compared to those 12 percent of black students.. that's an astounding 58-point gap so rather than looking at ways to try to narrow that gap to actually help minority students to advance their lives to make their lives better, this is the kind of garbage that has the attention of the school board. >> where are parents in all of this? you hate to think they are as passive as you they seem. would you let them denounce abraham lincoln as racist? >> no, i would be outraged by all the people that know i'm incredibly opinionated. i would be out there sounding the alarm. making it known that i am happy and getting other parents behind me.
9:39 pm
it's one of those things that would be easy to write this off and say you know what, people of san francisco, you voted for this. these are the people you chose but the problem is that this has infected all aspects of our society. these leftists are in control at every level of power in this country. they are in the position of power, not only forced compliance but to punish those that dissent and disagreement all of this, particularly when you look at the fact that we spend about $15,000 on average per child in america parents should absolutely have the right to take those tax dollars elsewhere to have school choice and not be beholden to this kind of woke garbage from teachers unions and school boards. >> these people never built anything. they only destroyed what people made.to great to see you tonight.
9:40 pm
thank you.u. >> thank you, tucker. >> the center of all these stories are the kids in thesee schools, a few weeks ago we got an e-mail from one frustrated sophomore unwed he was facing in school. we will read that for you next.

>> a pretty revealing e-mail recently from my kid called elliot morris, this is a copy of something he sent to his teache a day after last week's riot at the capital. he is a sophomore in massachusetts and we want to read you some of what he wrote. dear mr. donnovan, then as the world was shocked by the violence unprecedented events that occurred on january 6 at 2021, these events should be condemned and it should be a wake-up call to a country do unifying and buying together bright as i sit on zoom listening to each teacher speak about these issues, i feel more and more isolated fromng our community. some of the view may not beco popular in today's day and age i feel like there could be a more effective and better way of going aback talking about what happened yesterday in a way that makes people like me feel more welcome. the first amendment gives me as well as every american the
9:46 pm
freedom to see what they believe. i've now sat through for four different classes in three out of four have spoken about the issue of what happened yesterday. the negativity toward our 45th president and in the offense even though there are americans just like you and me commit made me realize how divided our country is. being on the opposite sides of the spectrum had never crossed my mind until i went into hp government to speak about theti election and the protest. this topic is tough to speak about and has many different sides, that means that neither side is right and neither side should take all the blame. the one thing i do know for sure is that we are weaker divided. teachers seem to lead toward condemning conservatives andrd praising democrats in all different fields. for that reason i feel isolated from our community. and enraged that my opinion is viewed is wrong by some students and by some teachers.
9:47 pm
i'm writing this e-mail so my fellow classmates can live in harmony and i don't raise my children in a society this divided. i wish all opinions to be heard. as school should be a safe haven for everyone. and the oldest of four boys and the my brothers look up to me to set the example. i was doing homework with my brother at the time at first grade, i noticed him drawing in his folder i pulled out the drawing and i was heartbroken. my brother had drawn a picture of president trump and wrote trump should not build the wall. my seven -year-old brother knows nothing about politics. he knows nothing about the real world, he was being manipulated to believe something he should never have even known about. as a seven -year-old he should've been focused on when the next time he could play outside or read books, not about politics.
9:48 pm
sincerely elliott morris. we told you about the lies that college students have to accept and repeat in order to graduater things have changed dramatically.gs we are going to tell you what kindergartners are learning in class. mother -- one mother has an unbelievable a story straightahead. google hasn't simply infiltrated the classroom, it is tracking your students outside of school. that is next. school. that is next. our retirement plan with voya, keeps us moving forward. hey, kevin! hey, guys! they have customized solutions to help our family's special needs... graduation selfie! well done! and voya stays by our side, keeping us on track for retirement...

>> if you been near a college campus lately or you probably heard land acknowledgment. if you haven't heard the term land acknowledgment. what it is greatly and acknowledgment means your exit acknowledging guilt for living on land that was taken from some other group at some point in the past, it may be thousands of years before. t land acknowledgment as a way to feel guilty about living virtually anywhere on planet earth.
9:54 pm
at inauguration, one democrat offered this land acknowledgment.. our country was built on indigenously and and we pay tribute to these indigenous nations. the purpose we should be clear about land acknowledgmentea isn't to solve anything or make anyone's life better, the people who perform and acknowledgments give up their own land and return it to anyone. they don't really believe what they're saying. they did of course once again they would give up their own land. that's not the point, the point is control. in order to make people obediens to their will, first they must feel inferior. many school districts are now doing everything they can to make your kids feel that way. inferior, flawed. forcing the class to participate in the land acknowledgment every day. the sessions, the struggle sessions went on endlessly. one went on for 17 minutes alter the benefit who did it now
9:55 pm
benefit, they got nothing. the mother recorded the classes but as the mother put it, you told my kids that they're living on something stolen and stealing is bad, i was in shock. of course the mother probably she probably plays the mortgage forn it. that shouldn't surprise you commit when you lock children inside for entire year at home is so many schools have, you've already taught them they are flawed in not worth educating. >> it's entirely possible that you're child's school has entered without your knowledge into an arrangement with the company google in order to place its products, google products into your child's classroom. what does that mean for your child? we know in part because the state of new mexico sued google over this. ultimately the suit was dismissed. they alleged was some evidence
9:56 pm
that they invaded children's privacy by providing tools for state schools and then using those schools to track students and their activities on their personal electronic devices when they weren't in school. google new what their kids were doing even when they weren't in the classroom. all of that happened without parental consent. rachel, thank you for coming on. we say this before and so many stories, it's amazing it's real but apparently this is. how does that work? >> basically what happens is the way google markets all of its products. they're offered either for free or for a very low price, so google has infiltrated our american schools in just this way.w with chrome books, with google ed tech and services so schools are now google's client, which means your child is now google's client. what they do is they log these
9:57 pm
kids into chrome books and the chrome browser then sinks all the activity that is taking t place either either on the chrome book or on the child's home computer that they may have logged into their schools account with. according to the details of this new mexico case, they are alleging google tracksgl everything from your child's web search history to what they watch on youtube to their voice recording and location among many other details. federal law actually requireson parental consent for the tracking and storage of thisis data. parents are supposed to be able to opt out of this,in but n initial judge in new mexico the district court level said, hey, schools can consent on behalf of the parents so this is a very troubling development for parents because their child is now a client of google, aa profile is being created, googlg says they don't use this for rat ad revenue, but google has made those claims before and it is not panned out.
9:58 pm
>> i wouldn't say it's a client, i would say a victim of google. your child is being exploited by the most powerful company in the world for profit and there's literally nothing you can do. can parents opt out of having their kids use google products and school? >> you would think, but then they will be cut off from how schools educate these children now. google has made themselves essential to how we educate in public schools. what's worse in many cases google uses teachers in these schools to advertise to other teachers. they're using teachers to do it it's a multilevel marketing scheme. google is not a trustworthy actor. they've been fined multiple times for the misuse of children's data. they were fined $170 million for misusing the data of children collected from youtube. so again, google is not a trustworthy actor here and there's not much unfortunately parents can do unless they take it up with their school district >> is any other company allowed and a monopoly in the schools to use your children for profit
9:59 pm
