the homeless crisis? leo: no, i'll tell you why, i live in california i know what is going on let me tell you, homelessness is a big business in california the people in california have tax themselves and real estate developers, construction, lobbyist they have taken the billions and billions of dollars and priced the homeless camps into oblivion it is a business and i'll tell you right now the state is going to recall governor newsom i'm looking for a republican candidate who's going to tackle three issues one, school choice, to regulation and the homeless situation is the third one is not just a homeless issue to the mental health issue and people are being exploited at the risk of taxpayer dollars, help, we need help.

carley: i'm never really thought of as a business i've never really heard them but it makes complete sense, taken what leo said is this what were seen in california a preview of what america will look like after maybe four years of abiding a administration. carley: i don't think it should come as any surprise in san francisco when you incentivize homelessness by giving folks every place to stay, meals, needles, more homeless people are going to come and it's a sad situation because a lot of homeless people are in a situation because of mental health issues by no fault of their own but it becomes an increasingly dangerous situation where residents and the taxpayers who are putting the 16 million-dollar bill and the mayor of san francisco admitted and said we frankly don't have any other option right now having places with resources serving people in the

neighborhood is better than unsanctioned encampment and she's waking up to the fact that a lot of the homeless people are even from san francisco there from other places and are using the resources that san francisco has provided them, i don't think this is a humane plan incentivizing this way is never humane. rachel: $61000 why not just give them a real house to stay in. ben: this is a mental health crisis, and opioid crisis it's a crisis in so many different levels but it's not in any way aided by this san francisco approach to this issue as we seen in cities across the country including austin, texas everybody who's adopted the san francisco approach to this has only seen these camps spread become more sources for drug use

and crime they take place across cities and across people's yards and a type of thing in an inducement to increase crime to increase vandalism, increase concern regarding the safety of citizens that is something i think is not the right approach at all we need to be getting people who are in these camps the type of care and comfort that they need weatherby mental health or recovering from the different addictions that they are facing and just allowing these intensities to grow up to become quote unquote villages which they are not is a complete abdication of responsibility by the communities in question. rachel: substance abuse and mental health is a huge problem and that's where we need to start, great points. new yorkers are heading back to movie theaters as covid restrictions are being lifted as

welcome back to the big sunday show, new yorkers are slowly getting back to normal a party movie theaters have reopened throughout the city at 25 percent capacity and moviegoers and they keep social distancing in mind. there assigned seating and strict rules at this next dance, no more self-serve soda fountains. if there are any concessions at all. the big question is would you feel comfortable going to the movies and i know, i would. as a matter fact, i'm probably missing that the most we can't wait to get back. and if there are no concessions, then people can do what they do always we just sneaked canyon. so would you feel comfortable at the movies. >> i would my favorite way to enjoy the movie's first want to take the kids to a movie. so that i can just stay home alone. [laughter] i absolutely feel comfortable party to.

>> rachel is looking for a little quiet time. what about you pretty. >> while everyone knows obviously they carry the coronavirus. that something you have to keep in mind of the danger going to the movie theater. look, love the movies in my wife and i would go basically every week. is been a real missed thing in our lives printed so i am just glad to see situational people can get back and get to the theaters because movies ought to be enjoyed their and not just on your smart phone. as i see so any people watching. >> it is so true and i was so worried about movie theaters what it shut down because they were doing that well before the pandemic. so i was concerned that it was going to become a thing of the past. my husband and i would go to a movie sometimes on saturdays and sundays. leo, are you looking forward to going back to the theaters and seeing a movie on the big screen

predict. >> i'm sorry, the movie theaters and lost me. i miss the movie popcorn, document wrong. but on the couch potato and i can watch the movies at home in the popcorn i do miss. so that may be the only reason i would go back to the movies. but no, i'm a couch potato. >> i get the appeal, i totally get that. blake miss missed city in a restaurant bar and enclosed another couple that you can, be in the conversation. and then you just kind of listen. >> rachel, what else are you missing. >> as a mom, i cannot wait for my kids to have their childhood back. playing basketball with masks, no sinking in school because of covid-19. so any rules for insurance companies and unions. i wanted to have a normal life back. >> that is so true. and, what else do you want back. >> i'm a giant nerd and so i've

been unable to be the dungeon master for my dungeons & dragons group for the past year except for a few times. i have to tell you of them actually looking forward to saying these ramp ended nerd again as quickly as possible. >> i love that. i know so much more about you now. it must've been interesting to have a baby during the pandemic. >> it gives you a reason to live, you have to survive. [laughter] >> and leo your big sports fan pretty. >> initially carly, and what would, i like your idea of the bar. i want to go back to the bar. >> this the best possible thing be to catch a game, grab a drink and then go to the bar after and then we all sit close together again. i cannot wait for that to happen again. that will be so fantastic. when we get back to a sense of normalcy, i think we should all do this together, dungeons & dragons, the movies, and rachel
