>> but the directive has not changed with the administration? >> nope. >> juan: that happening after president biden got called out by his own voter official. they claim he is denying reality what is happening. the same officials warning they were being overwhelmed and don't have the resources to handle thousands of children coming into the country. the biden administration also under fire for not letting the media into migrant facilities. agents reportedly feel like "they are under a gag order. the white house being called out for lack of transparency. >> you all came in and to be truthful and transparent administration. and you will oversee the department of homeland security. so if you all wanted to grant access to the press couldn't you just tell them to do it? >> again, we fully support transparency and call homeland security for any press access or what you are looking to

accomplish. the white house, we all need administration support in finding a way to grant access to the media to the hhs. no, the facilities are the shelters where these children are staying for a temporary period of time. >> juan: let me begin with you, she is the word crisis as you saw there. it is a big deal by critics of the biden administration border policy but my question to you, does it change anything in terms of the reality of what we are dealing with at the border? >> the reality that i'm most concerned with is reality of the children. i don't care what you call it, detention centers. i don't care if you call them cages, i don't care if you call it a crisis come i don't care if you call it a challenge but at least care about the kids, seem like you are caring about the kids instead of just hearing about words. and as far as access, there are

two things that will sink any administration aside from the pandemic that is a big immigration crisis and tax policy failure. m biden could be on fast fast track to both. so let's talk about, these pictures are awful. the reality for these children is awful but you are not saying that because they are not granting access. and cdp and hhs are saying they are not allowed to take journalist on ride-a lungs and critical for how local and federal works and also for telling the story of these children who are writing by themselves with no end in sight. >> juan: jesse, this kind of surge of under age immigrants happens under republicans as well as democrats. i wonder if we can agree both republicans and democrats see more advantage in blaming

president trump or blaming president biden then they are at solving the problem? >> jesse: this is shaping up to be a record surge of unaccompanied minors. and everybody cares about that if you are a republican or a democrat. but the crisis spot that the immigrants aren't they built that box. the last several years they slept the crisis label and everything to justify extreme and immediate reaction. remember the climate crisis, we had to spend $100 trillion or we will die. a constitutional crisis. we have to impeach trump immediately. a covid crisis, we have to spend $350 billion to bail out the blue states. they have done that to themselves. remember rahm emanuel said never let a crisis go to waste. finally, they found a crisis they don't mind wasting time confronting because they don't want to appear they have the tools to address did it. joe biden can come out right now and reinstitute the remaining in mexico policy.

he can strong-arm the mexico government to force the mexican military to stop the caravans. he could expel the 16 and 17-year-old unaccompanied minors who are coming here. he could stop the catch and release and finish the border wall so you don't leave a mile of open space to come into. all of those things he can do, juan, to your point he can demand to not do comprehensive immigration forum but single out the asylum fix. he can fast-track that and that would stop the entire surge. but is not doing that. that would mean he would have to take action in he's too afraid of his radical, open borders left-wing base to do anything that might be similar to what donald trump did, even though that was actually effective in letting those people remain in mexico or central america and apply for asylum in their home countries like everybody else has done. now, he's playing this rhetorical game with the press

to buy time so we doesn't have to take action. it is not what adults do. adults solve problems. they don't mess around and play word games. i'm surprised the president is wet, nearly 80? act like an adult and solve the problem. >> juan: all right, dana, today president biden tweeted out "the two house bills that will get voted on to take vote deal with immigration, one of the dreamers, one on foreign workers in both popular with the american people" and biden asked congress to come together and here i'm quoting "to find long-term immigration for the system." do you think there is any hope, dana, that they will get something done? >> dana: this is a classic way the democrats will do this. they will wait until a crisis, don't know how to solve it and why aren't the republicans coming up with solutions? they had solutions and you decided to go a different direction. lindsey graham from a senator

from south carolina, said -- i don't want to put words in his mouth, but there were ideas on immigration reform that you would be willing to support but he said border security issue is one that you deal with and they will demand that it is dealt with first. and the white house press secretary, she doesn't need my help, but this is what i think there there is a name on twitter referring to the white house chief of staff as prime minister. yesterday, he held a meeting with the congressional progressive caucus, basically promising the sun, the moon, and the stars. when they do infrastructure, you bet, we will throw all of these things on their fear that meanwhile, the press secretary taking on endless water, unable to figure out this rhetorical situation that they put themselves in into me, they should rip the band-aid off. it is a crisis, move on or they will not be able to deal with the fact that they have a fact problem causing a communications problem but the communications

problem initially from the campaign has caused their fact problem. the sooner they will be able to deal with something else. the white house chief of staff and prime minister, the communications director, where a susan rice? where is anybody to help her remind the president of the united states? she is taking on water. just call it a crisis and it will be over in 24 hours. and you can move on to try to deal with actual substance and not just the crisis challenge story. >> juan: greg come in fact, picking up on what pain is talking about, you have 20 centrist senators bipartisan coming together saying "we are looking for solutions in terms of immigration come in terms of infrastructure and beyond health care." i don't see schumer, the democratic leader in the senate come i don't see mcconnell, the republican leader getting behind these people. why not? >> greg: great question. right now i just feel bad for jen psaki. after that press conference.

i heard her brother called afterwards and said don't cry, sis. anyway, you guys are missing, in my view, there is a really, really, really big story going on regarding immigration. but it is going on outside of this show. right now, if you try on any other channel, viewers are being sold the idea that america is the land of white supremacy. yet, right now we are seeing thousands, tens of thousands and it will be millions of nonwhite people risking life and limb to come to america. why would they do that? if they believe what they saw on cnn that we are a nation of free citizens come away are they coming? because they know it is not true. they are actually voting with their feet, which is destroying the big lie about what this country is, the big light that speaks souls to american by cnn and other media outlets.

attention to president biden has been saying for months. spotted on a flight without his mask on an american airlines investigating the incident but he is pushing back writing just like 2004, feels like saint patrick's day malarkey come a foot on twitter. if i drop my mask on a flight commit was momentary. i wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. it is what the science tells us to do. but gavin newsom taking heat saying he is a physical parent despite the fact his kids told him reported back to private school months ago. >> i've got a strong advocate to get our kids safe back in person. i have four young kids myself. i've been living through zoom school and all the challenges related. i put out a proposal to the school. >> dana: he has been living through zoom school? his kids have been in school since november. stolen valor, that is exactly but that is. his kids are in private school.

they know the joy of in-person instruction having a teacher discipline them and a teacher make eye contact with them here that is something my children have not enjoyed since last march. it is an incredible thing. you know, it is like i think it is great the governor's kids are in private school. many, many more parent should have school opportunities. that is great he is able to engage school choice but for parents who can't work, that is why that governor is being recalled. in terms of john kerry come it is a different kind of private. i think john kerry did this on purpose so he would get caught so he gets put on a no-fly list so he can only fly his private jet. he might have been thinking ahead. greg, you remember ted cruz was on the delta flight and had a cup of coffee and had his mask down. there was an uproar and they were going to kick him off delta for the rest of the flight? a little different this time. >> greg: that's why i'm not a fan of mask shaming.

he could have lowered it in a second and somebody gets a picture. about the problem is he such a self righteous jack that he would -- if he saw me not wearing a mask briefly, he would say "you are not sitting a good example, greg." when he talks he sounds like a tree. but there is a reason to be critical of democrats over masks because using masks as proof of science and the republicans win and rat reality democrats doing far worse in the country with their own science to nihilism. they made that you just mistaken the pandemic by exaggerating the disease on the young pretending it was a larger share of deaths than it was. of course americans under 18 make up .04% of deaths. according to the survey in "the new york times" 41% of democrats believe there is one in two chance you can get hospitalized from covid to. it is actually 1%.

why this is a big deal. >> dana: do you not remember what they did to ted cruz? >> juan: no. i just think that anybody, anybody would say if you want to scratch your nose come if you want to have a drink, if you need to take a deep breath, drop your mask for a second but my guess this is a big deal because people remember that trump didn't encourage people to wear a mask and he didn't wear a mask himself. and i think this is very much petty politics. a little bit of biden mp. biden announced today his administration is 100 million vaccinations. that is why you see the death rate and infection rate going down. that is way ahead of schedule. he said he would get there in 100 days. he has got there in 59 days. right now, you have school's opening, wall street hitting record highs, covert relief package that has like 70% support from the american people.

cover up you are at a whistle-blower speaking out about the governors deadly nursing home scandal that killed 15,000 people. the nursing home administrator says he and other executives and other facilities were petrified by cuomo's decision and that complains about the policies were dismissed. take a look at this exclusive interview with aisha hosni. mccoy said that is ridiculous, we can't be doing this. it is just not right to the residence. >> and you vocalized that on these phone conversations. >> i did vocalize it, and then once it was shot down, i never spoke again. we were told, please don't send us your sick patients. there were multiple hospitals that were threatening. >> threatened in what way? >> i never saw the exact emails, but they were threatened that they would be reported. for noncompliance.

balance. bacon fans coming through at this time and people wondering if that had anything to do with this decision to cover it up. >> greg: there is a few interesting things, and i mentioned this a while ago, why is the harassment store the one that the democrats in embrace where the instinct is to protect their kind? it didn't feel right but what if you have the sexual harassment case, there was one culprit but with the nursing home, there's a whole bunch, right? so the sexual harassment scandal is real, but it's also serving perhaps a deflection from a scandal that could bring down more than one democrat or one governor. the sexual harassment scandal is a scandal of one. the nursing home is a scandal of many. of course, i believe back in may when cuomo gave the nursing home's immunity against lawsuits, and then got a huge donation from the nursing home industry. what if he had not done that? and maybe he could have been a

hero and gone after them but too late. >> jesse: juan, he said he would have done things differently in hindsight, but he has not owned up to the mistake in the cover-up. do you think he will? >> juan: i think everybody has. i guess you want to have him do it more explicitly, jesse, but i don't think there is any question when it comes to the way that he dealt with the nursing home, cuomo was wrong. i mean, the best defense to offer is to say, you know this decision on the nursing home was made in march /april of 2020. so that is a year ago. the whole country was new to the pandemic. the governors were flying blind. there was no guidance from the white house or the nih. everybody is trying to lower costs. let me finish, let me finish. yes, look, what they were trying to do was protect the elderly in

terms of making sure hospitals had the capacity to deal with people who were critically ill. and so, what you saw was cuomo try to say, well i'm a may be people who are not critically ill don't have to stay at the hospital. so to me, if you could turn back the clock, of course you would make a different decision and i hope he would because it was a wrong decision. but i also say don't forget, to greg's point, there was a democratic attorney general's report on the inaccurate numbers coming out of cuomo's administration on nursing home deaths that led to this investigation. that is something coming from the democrats. and i would also say, there is no partisan effort in terms of the sexual harassment investigation. again, there are democrats and democratic elected officials calling for him to resign. so if you believe in due process, and i think we all do, we know not everybody charged is

guilty. and both cuomo and his accusers have a right to be heard. >> jesse: kennedy, not every governor in the country forest infected patients into the nursing home. cuomo and a few other democrats. >> kennedy: that is a really good point because they did the same cost-benefit analysis but what cuomo did and greg pointed out, he forced these facilities that have patients with no defense, no immunity. he forced them to take covid positive patients and then, of course, it was obvious the disease was going to spread and take the lives of the most vulnerable. that is right. that is something that we knew. but he didn't anyway. and then granting immunity to these places so they couldn't be sued by families who lost loved ones. the problem is, then you have governors in new jersey, pennsylvania, and michigan that cut and pasted immunity clause and applied it to their own state. so that is wrong. what happened in new york in

terms of fudging the numbers and trying to hide how many people died because of that policy, that is criminal. and that is in terms of the nursing home scandal what will bring down cuomo, but it was wrong what these other states did as well. in michigan, they were not even telling the number of patients dying in the nursing homes until june appear they weren't making it public until july. now, governor whitmore they are is being shielded by her attorney general. there has to be accountability because god forbid we go through this again. we can't have policies like that that are absolutely deadly. >> jesse: i agree. coming up from a comedian humiliates the left and takes on cancel culture in a video that you have to see. ♪ ♪ it's totally normal to have constipation with belly pain,

if you start seeing people turn a profit after they are canceled, it will change. for example, right now you have intolerant tax focusing on tucker. they can't refute his ideas so boycotts and whatnot. what is the result? he just gets bigger and bigger. if you keep canceling talker, he will be president and for years. corporations know this, right? if a person gets canceled, these days, you can go somewhere now and resurrect where you can sue. look at pierce morgan, he left that show. he took 40% of their viewers. they took off, all right an end that is because people had unconventional, unoriginal speakers but they crave more when the woke bots go after them. it is a shame, the newsrooms are dead. what happens, team folk is an example of what's going on in all newsrooms. they are taken over by recent

graduates who do not understand free speech, first amendment, but they understand that incredible power they feel if they can destroy somebody more successful than they are appear that is what wokism is about. it's not about discussing or debating ideas. can i get jesse watters off of a show? can i get dana perino off of a show? can i pick up kennedy's old tweets and ruin her? it is a spiteful, sad behavior and it is probably due to the fact that we have a segment of the population who are alienated and have nothing going on in their lives accept this. the five no, that is a great point in one of the things fueling the rioters continuallyn places like portland. that mentality coupled with people are still locked down and they don't have jobs or anything to do, so we have to come up with a way of discussing these things more productively, even when we disagree. in one, we have to get to a place in the show was a great example.

of being able to disagree about something without trying to tear someone down. when someone has done something stupid to come at least give them the mechanism for either apologizing for it and recovering from it or showing that they have had some personal growth in the wake of that. >> juan: look come i can tell you on a personal basis, cancel culture can be excessive. i don't think there's any question about that, kennedy. but i disagree with what i'm hearing about that column in "the washington post" by max booth. because what max booth was saying is that the cancel culture has become such a pervasive term now that basically what it allows people to do is avoid accountability. i mean, even on this show, hey, look at governor cuomo. he's not saying that he is a victim of cancel culture instead of taking responsibility for his actions. so a lot of people are using this term cancel culture to avoid being accountable for

offending minorities or offending women, or some other small group in society. get away with saying anything about anybody. anything negative to say about that, they are practicing cancel culture. i just don't think that is realistic. right now, today, we have lots of asian-americans in this country who feel that they were experienced is being canceled, especially after the shooting in atlanta and you have the police come out and say, oh, well, the shooter, the alleged shooter was having a bad day. people, asian-americans are dead. so they feel like, is that cancel culture? he shouldn't have said that? no, it is really offensive. >> greg: that has nothing to do with this topic but go for it. >> juan: it has to do with cancel culture? >> greg: how so? how did you make this lee? >> juan: people do not feel like they are genuinely --
