inspector at the world health organization set for an interview broadcast on youtube, that inspector was a man called peter diaz act, he spoke about his research at the wuhan institute of virology which has been going on for more than 15 years. in that interview, he also discussed his nonprofit organization which had received millions from the u.s. government. he channeled the percentage of the money to the lab in wuhan which he described as a world-class lab of the highest standards. some of that work paid for by american taxpayers went to something called gain function research, that involves manipulating viruses in a laboratory to make them more transmissible and more deadly. in his youtube interview, he spoke freely about all of this. at the time he had no reason not to. outside of a handful of diplomats, no one had raised concerns about the kind of research into viruses, very dangerous, it was taking place in wuhan.

sloppy containment protocols very close to where the first outbreak occurred? yes there was but he didn't want to talk about that. he and other bureaucrats the world health organization came up with an alternative explanation for the pandemic. the virus, they explained from the world, had most lately emerged from an exotic mammal that for some reason was being sold at a seafood what market in wuhan, that's what happened. the media bought that explanation. later we discovered it was not true, there was never any evidence that covid infections had originated in a pangolin. he did not apologize, he kept deflecting attention from the lab. in april he told the show democracy now that the idea this virus escaped from a lab is pure baloney, it's simply not true. i have been working with that lab for 15 years, some of the best scientists in the world. he has pushed that line ever since, relentlessly.

been told to m vacate their home to make room for unaccompanied minors. the serena sanchez family was renting a home from a group called friends of youth, and investigation says the organization saw a new funding sourcef with the federal government's office of refugee settlement and decided to use the house for undocumented immigrant children. the investigation goes on to say the family is "astonished at the friends of youth would remove washington children who are making strides in a stable foster home and replace them with children from the border." the same thing is happening in california, new jersey, and other states where health and human services is using state agencies to help find housing for migrant children. those state agencies are making it crystal clear that all the rent payments are coming from the federal government. finally, after more than a year, public school teachers in san diego are going back to in person classes.

"the new york times" is running a story that i have traveled with a 17-year-old woman and that is verifiably false, people can look at my travel records and see that is not the case. what is happening is anen extortion of me and my family involving former justice department official.di on march 15th my father got a text message demanding a meeting where in a person demanded $25 million in exchange for making horrible sex trafficking allegations against me go away. our family was so troubled by that we want to the local fbi and the fbi and the department of justice were so concerned about this attempted extortion of a member of congress they asked w my dad to wear a wire which he did with the former department of justice official. tonight, i am demanding that the department of justice and the m fbi released the audio recordings that were made under their supervision and at their direction which will prove my innocence and will show these

people's freedom of movement, it's one of the most fundamental rights we have comeua it's guaranteed in thee constitution. i'm not saying there is never a scenario where you can imagine that may be vaccine passports wouldn't be justified if it were really a health catastrophe but why are we even talking about it right now when the problem isn't insufficient people wanting the vaccine to the problem is there's not enough of vaccines for people who do want to them and at some point soon we are going to reach herd immunity because enough people polls show want the vaccine such that the people who are unvaccinated don't pose a threat to society or anybody else. why is it necessary to stigmatize them and create a caste system? the american culture is such that when theen government telle you to do something, there's a tendency not to want to do it. it seems to be driven by things other than science and health concerns. >> tucker: are you comfortable ofof the idea of massive multinational monopolies havingn

your health information and passing between one another? >> i've spent the last ten years of my work as a journalist as you knowow reporting on the gret dangers of what happens when the state collects information, they always promise it's going to be temporary and it's going to be for a specific problem when they enacted the patriot act in 2001, they said don't worry it's going to be three or four years and what we have the problem of terrorism solved here we are 20 years later, it grew well beyond its original intention, that's one of the things that always happens and i think there is a huge cultural strain here that liberals have this punitive strain in their politics, they like the idea being able to stigmatize people who don't agree with them on vaccines by creating a second-class citizenry for them. i think that it's a big part of the motive. >> tucker: you remind me once again that i idiotically support at the patriot act, i want to apologize again to the country for doing that.
