this country the way it should be. ainsley: tom, we keep seeing images of all these kids the latest this morning is the 5 and 6-year-old siblings that were abandoned put over the boulder rocks on the side of our country and had their mom's phone number and names written on heir arm and a note. we heard griff talk about the ms-13 gang member saw those other kids dropped over the gate a few days ago. the yemen terrorist suspects. then we are learning this morning san antonio, the governor, governor abbott wants to shut down the facility that's housing children because of reports of sexual abuse. family and protective services says that they can confirm three separate reports of abuse. here's the governor. we will get your reaction on the other side. >> these problems are a buy byproduct of hind's open border policies. this facility is a health and safety nightmare. the biden administration is now presiding over the abuse of

children. to end this abuse, the biden administration must immediately shut down this facility. the children who are in this facility should be moved to other federally run facilities where the federal government has the space, personnel and resources to ensure their safety. ainsley: tom, your reaction? >> the governor is exactly right. because here is what no one is talking about. the biden administration's contract with ngos who have no business running detention facilities. "the washington examiner" broke a story last night about the way thee contracts are being let. we have family residential centers that are licensed. that are run by contractors who work through ice who have pediatricians on site, social workers on site, child psychologists. these were built for vulnerable people, women and chirp. and they are practically empty because the biden administration calls them for-profit prisons.

so they would rather walk away from the state of the art facility, the gold standard for vulnerable people. they walk away from these facilities, leave them half empty and signing contracts with federal ngos? the person at ice ahead of now contract detention beds karen mcnulty ngo and advocate she is making the final decision all detention contracts over and above the experienced officers who actually run detention facilities who actually contracted with detention facilities for decade, she is making the decision and washington examiner just broke a story that some of these contract are being awarded to people who worked the biden transition team and biden campaign. they are going to companies like the endeavor $86 million for hotel rooms? that's 77,000 per alien when we have family residential centers who were built for the very same reason taking care of these children. it's ridiculous the -- if any congressman or senator is watching this show, i implore them to do a congressional investigation how these contracts are being awarded to these open border advocates who

releasing people as fast as they can so there is no overcrowding. they will ignore the numbers. they will ignore the thousands a day. will. brian: that's why texas is suing them. >> absolutely. and they should be suing them. and more states need to sue them. this administration halls no intention of securing this border. they have no intention of enforcing immigration laws in this country. they have made that clear. they created this crisis and they get really good at releasing people so there is no overcrowding. steve: also getting really good at making sure nobody who works for the federal government tells the press about what's going on. you know, a couple days ago we heard that those two yemeni guys were stopped at the southern border. one of them had a sim card in there. they were on the terrorist watch list. and then they took counsel the press release so that people wouldn't know the details because of national security, tom. and this on the heels of the fact that republicans were able to pressure the cbp to admit that since october four other people on the terrorist watch

list have been apprehended. three other yemenese and a serbian. that makes six that we know of. it seems like the only way that they can go ahead and continue this ridiculous, it's not a crisis people is through censorship. >> absolutely. let me tell you something i talked to several people in command of cbp. i won't mention their names because they will be in a lot of trouble. that press release was taken down because it was bad press for the administration. steve: exactly. >> they said they didn't clear it properly through dhs. the facts of that press release remain the facts. it was an accurate press release. they upset the department because the department wants to control all press. you know, they don't want the men and women of the border patrol the chiefs out there talking to the media. they tonight want the truth out to the american people. so much for a traps parent administration. they are hiding from the american people the crisis on this border. that is a national security crisis. ms-13 members are come through. real quick, when i was -- we did

operation matador in phoenix you might remember that couple years ago arrested short of 500 gang members, minnesota most of them ms-13 members. 42% of the gang members arrested came in as a uac or family group. now try to get around border patrol 1,000 got awayser day because they tie the border patrol up with families. actually embedding themselves as uac and family group. that's why you are having fights at these facilities. that's why you had a sexual abuse at these facilities. the gangs and cartels are taking advantage of this humanitarian crisis and created a national security crisis for this country that the biden administration is simply ignoring. ainsley: so, a reporter did ask jen psaki about kamala harris, where is she? why is she traveling around the u.s. when she is in charge of the border and she is not down there? listen to this. is she still working on this and can you address the perception that she is kind of quietly backing off while secretary mayorkas is pursuing some trump era policies? >> first, i would say the vice

president was visiting chicago actually to talk about covid and the importance of communities getting the vaccine when it's available and accessible to them and so, while she was there, like many americans, she got a snack. i think she is allowed to do that. it is an absolutely an issue she remains committed. to say the northern triangle which i'm sure you are aware of is not the same as the border. ainsley: tom, i know you don't want her down there at the border, when you see all these images of these kids it's personal to you. you have been to the border. you worked down there for so long. this is a crisis without a doubt, and it's inhumane. >> it's absolutely inhumane. look, i have said it many times. you see these videos of a kid being abandoned and 9-year-old drowned the other day. there is a video yesterday of these children. that happens every day numerous times every day on that border. these border patrol agents are dealing with abandoned children, dying children, and, look, i have told my story many times

because suddenly we are deep in the heart of taxes, ainsley. ainsley: yeah. we are. and it's heart-breaking making us all want to move to florida, right, because our taxes are going up. steve: or texas. ainsley: yeah, yeah, yeah. our taxes are going up. all across this country this corporate tax is going to effect you even if you don't own a corporation. larry kudlow said it's very bad for our economy. he said and then your taxes are going to go up big time. and then there is much more coming when biden gets to the individual tax code and capital gains and small business. he said get ready for that made in america tax plan to raise $2.5 trillion, this is what it looks like. corporate tax rates going up to 28%. remember trump dropped it down to 21%. it tightens the tax code loopholes so if you find loopholes to save money for your family you don't have to give it to the government, joe biden wants to tighten that doubles the global tax rate to 21%.

them. you want to close those loopholes. but guess who actually should be a little bit more upset with loopholes and the fact that they are closing? joe biden. pause it looks like he and his wife have saved up to $500,000 by finding corporations to hide their money in on speeches and other investments. he earned roughly 13.5 million. he set up a bunch of corporations totally legal to go around end and pay -- and save an estimated $500,000. so, while he sits there and says i'm middle class joe, i don't really relate to this type of allusion when it comes to taxes, he is really not middle class joe. he is boy am i rich joe and he is doing everything that he is claiming the corporations are doing. how does he get away with it? how are no questions ever asked of him about this? steve: it's interesting because it was at the -- when he was vice president with barack obama, barack obama wanted to get rid of this particular

loophole. and then when joe biden left the white house, as vice president, he started doing this. and what he did was he set up an s corporation because he would then put his money, any money he made with taxes and speeches would go through the s corporation. and people who own s corpses as they are known and a lot of people watching right now do that you can avoid paying in self-employment tax. and that is how it wound up being a half a million dollars of bonus in the pocket of the bidens. brian: i thought he was going to level with us? ainsley: congressman jim banks said do you intend to undo your hypocrisy and pay your taxes back to the american people? i doubt it. brian: precorporation and joe corporation to pay taxes. larry kudlow knows all about this. he set up the previous system and watching it being torn apart. >> today the tax man cometh with

jones, joins us now. whit, we will try it again. what do you see on your property on your ranch? >> so, what we see, brian, we are a little bit north of the river. brian: got it? >> the border with mexico. what we end up seeing is we see and typically what we hear about on the news is people crossing that border. but essentially there is another border that is about 50 miles to the north and we call it the interior check system or the interior check point. so, once all these people get across the river, they then now have to make another journey across to this next. brian: kind of like a second border interior border. and you say one of your neighbors found about 100 body over the years on their ranch.

last great opportunity to save new york and the fact that to save our state andrew cuomo has got to go. i'm announcing here this morning on your show that i'm running for governor of new york in 2022 and we are going to win this race. i'm all in, we are all in. losing is not an option and we have to turn things around. brian: congressman, what was the moment. what was the factor that you said i'm going to have to give this a shot? i mean, a year ago, cuomo looked unbeatable. he is going to run for a fourth term. not a democrat would challenge him. now with nine accusers, nursing home questions, debts and tolls that now looks like he knew about ahead of time with an a.g. and fbi looking over his shoulder, is that what made all this plausible possible? >> >> then you have this budget this past week where you create the highest income tax rate in the country. why are you doing it that to create a new multibillion dollars fund for people who are not legally even in the country and the state. it's the attacks on our wallets

are moving to florida. so many people from california moving to texas, why? because they don't pay a state income tax. and people can save money, put more money in their bank accounts, send their kids to college, are feed their kids. steve: better weather. ainsley: exactly. is there any way we could do that in new york have no state income tax? do you plan to lower taxes at least to help these businesses that are really hurting? >> we absolutely have to. people are fleeing. the geniuses up in albany think they just raise the income tax rate for new yorkers and now they are going to pay their fair share. what you actually did for many because they are hitting their breaking point and they are fleeing. essentially you just lowered their income tax rate to zero because they are not going to be giving you any money whatsoever. people are more mobile than ever. it's not just those that are hit with this tax increase. it's the family that has to get started either in their mom and dad's basement on long island or they can go buy a single family home in north carolina. it's the senior who has spent their whole lives in new york.

they want to stay. their family is here. but then can't afford to so they are heading down south. on so many different levels it's the quality of life. it's the cost of living and i love this state. i'm still here. you are still here. we need to turn it around and people are going to flee every single day until we do. brian bine we have had a republican as governor george pataki a while ago. have to work with democrats military background and to be existing in new york you have to work with democrats. have you done all those things. we will see if there is enough republican support, enough democratic anger to get you to that position but i know no one is going to run harder. congressman, congratulations on that move. now the real work starts. can we talk to you about the news. >> yeah, let's do it. brian: here is griff jenkins. he is going to bring us heart-breaking images what's happening at the border. remember, a lot of those kids at the border end up on long island in lower, working class schools and they never talk to a new

york lawmaker. steve: those two small children were found abandoned near the border wall. we don't know a lot of the details but they were there, as you can see. the little boy has his hands out as if he would like some help from somebody. they are crying after being dropped by smugglers. ainsley: 5 and 6-year-old. griff jenkins joins us with more from washington on this story as the texas governor is calling now to shut down one of the migrant facilities. griff? griff griff that's right, ainsley, brian and steve. congressman, good morning. and as we all wake up this morning, there are more than 20,000 unaccompanied children in dhs's care and custody right now and, remember, the administration has opened more than 10 emergency shelters from springs to midland to dallas to houston to el paso. and in san antonio, where at the freeman coliseum it is under investigation now after sexual abuse allegations. that prompted texas governor

this state. this is a problem to try to figure out how to handle all these people coming in. >> big time and i hate to say it but it's going to continue to get worse. why? because the biden administration is trying to two different narratives. one is they want to say there is no crisis. or, two, they want to say there is a crisis and it's all trump's fault. and the fact is that this started in a way with the way that joe biden ran his campaign but from day one, stopping border wall construction halting deportations putting forward a policies to have a path for citizenship. to release people into the united states without dates to report back to court. hotel story and the big cost that came with it. so, on so many different levels, the policies are incentivizing this. i have compassion for people who want to legally pursue the american dream. steve: sure. >> for people who want to cut the line and their first act is coming in illegally, i think we

need to have a backbone have a rule of law to strengthen our borders and have interior enforcement and as you pointed out well on network is that we have seen here on long island ms-13 members coming across the border, they end up in new york, people end up suffering from violence from, drug trafficking, human trafficking, sex trafficking, it has lives, consequences on americans in so many different ways, tough stop it at the border. ainsley: remember those two girls out on long island, they used a machete to kill these two girls walking in a neighborhood. nancy pelosi she says we are heading in the right direction though. listen to this. >> the fact is that we are on a good path at the border under leadership of joe biden -- president biden. we were in a very bad situation under the trump administration. ainsley: what do you say about that? she is the speaker. she is your colleague. brian: it's going great. >> and it's a reminder that between nancy pelosi, steny hoyer and james clyburn the 2022

three members of the house democratic leadership the top three members of house leadership they have been serving in the house of representatives for over 100 years. it's time to go. we need to bring in new blood, new ideas because you have people like speaker pelosi who is just a dishonest hack on stuff like this. and i hate to say it, but what we need is for people to be honest about what's happening because the crisis will only get worse until someone like speaker pelosi listens to some of her texas democrats in her delegation who say, hey, listen, there is a crisis. i see it in my district and you better do something about it because it's coming to your district if you don't stop it. brian: i mean, you have two democratic county executives right now. but they see the problem. they know that these ms-13 kids, they pretend to be kids. they enroll in school that's already overtaxed and overcrowded and they will go and create havoc and put that gang culture into these working class communities and it all starts at the border. and it's not a matter of democratic or republican.

regarding the reopening of the schools and everything else given what mr. cuomo has done plus the 30% small businesses closing businesses. a lot of businessmen suddenly are looking for changes. ainsley: yeah. speaking of schools in san francisco. there was a school board meeting held over zoom and a student called in and she announces herself in this cheery voice and then she gets down to brass tacks. her name is zoey, a senator of a local high school she is furious. they can't get it together. there is all this infighting they can't get it together to open these schools. listen to. this i'm just here to honestly ask the board of education to pull it together. i would really ask all of you to examine why you are here and think back on why you chose to run for the board of education. and the only answer to that question is it be -- to fight for students. it feels like it's falling apart. brian: exactly. you have to go ahead.

if you do this, you don't do it for the money, you do it because you want to give back. all they do is fight with each other and they stay out of school and the kids sit on the sidelines this on zoom. same school that wanted to rename they wanted to rename all their schools and grammar schools and get rid of lincoln and paul revere and dianne feinstein and george washington because they were horrible people who weren't woke enough. so that was what they did. they later would throw that in the trash bin. i love that that senior spoke up. steve: she is a reporter for her high school newspaper. brian: good. steve: she said the school board is like a run away train, she said. aside from the fact that our news yesterday regarding the renaming of the schools, which they're going to put up until the fall when kids are back. brian: good. steve: keep in mind, it was the city attorney of san francisco that sued the school board to reopen the schools. she would like to be back at school where she belongs, she says. ainsley: fights for the students, 23409 the unions. put these kids back in school.

is pushing these boycotts because these companies were not vigorous enough. why are these pastors playing politicians. >> the pastors have been confused. i'm a christian evangelist. i have been one for several years now. in the 1960s i was a youth organizer fighting for voters rights and fair housing and all of that and then i became a politician. and politically i was still fighting for the down trodden. today as a christian evangelist, i stay in that lane. get out of their lane, trying to boycott and come against things and then they don't even do what we did in the 1960s and 1970s. most of our meetings were in churches. if you see the protest most of the leaders have preacher robes and bibles and seeking the will of god. not the will of politics i think the preachers have been a little confused and jumping out of their labor with all of these protests and using the name of god a little bit and waving a bible here and there but hurting

people when the process when they need to be ministering to people. ainsley: there are some complaints about new voter laws. there are a lot of complaint many people are saying we don't want to have to show an i.d. in order to vote. some are saying that's racist. is it? >> well, you've heard me say the laws that across the country especially in georgia may be a little too little, too late they should have done something at the last election to make sure people have ability to be identified. we fought against jim crow insisting give me my identity. see me as a human being equally. ethnically my skin color may teach you something about me but i'm one human race. so you now you don't need an i.d. and don't need an identity. why does anyone need to know who you are. please see me and please note me. anyway the i hads that they are

county parents, scott runs parents against critical theory and he joins us now from loudoun county. good morning to you. >> good morning, steve. steve: at what point did you realize something was up with your schools? >> about a year ago. about a year ago there was a lot of information coming out from the the then superintendent about the new initiatives coming forward in the fall that were all centered around comprehensive equity a lot of the i hate the word the phrase dog whistles going off. i began following it a lot more closely. then as woe got closer to have the school year, you know, i really did a lot of digging in to the information within the school system itself and it's like pull a thread on a sweater. and the more and more i pulled, the more and more i uncovered. steve: yeah. i know you said that the schools have white supremacist, white that jittle and every other white woke phrase in your words

throughout the school system. they're also pushing, you suggest, critical race theory which essentially says that america and this is broadly, america is fundamentally racist. right? >> that's correct. steve: okay. so,. >> but they don't -- i'm sorry, steve, go ahead. steve: no, go ahead. >> they don't stop there, right? it's one of these things. it's always a moving target because they deny critical race theory then they say well, we are working with equity. and then it's culturally responsive framework. they keep moving the goal post at the end of the day it all means the exact same thing. steve: well, we have got a statement from the school board they said what you are seeing are snippets of much longer classes and lessons with no context, they say. the interim superintendent has never denied that critical race theory is discussed at loudoun county public schools. what he has stated is that students and staff are not indoctrinated into any school of

thought or philosophy. the school has not adopted a uniform equity curriculum but does have a cultural responsive framework. >> right. steve: you say despite that statement the students are being indoctrinated? >> yes. i mean, i think his statement is absolutely ridiculous because not ever have we questioned whether or not crt was being discussed. we have always said it's being taught in the schools. so that's just a play on words as far as i'm concerned. and then the other side of the coin is they are not up doctrineating or trying to change the thought or philosophy of our students and teachers in the school. has he not seep these two videos that came out? i mean, one was in the same daily caller article and then there was one just a couple weeks ago. steve: yeah. >> what he is trying to do is deflect with different terminology and it's not a discussion, right? they are teaching it. but that's the answer that they give all the time we're not doing it. and they will not address the

question and one of the things we are call for is for them to step up to the plate, hold a town hall, answer the questions and if i am flat out wrong i will apologize but i can promise you that i'm not. and we demonstrate every day this type of material that they're pushing in the classroom on our students and teachers. so he is factually incorrect. he is just tap dancing. steve: well, you would think that your call for a town hall is reasonable. you know, if they are putting out statements about it, why not have a discussion? >> well, exactly. steve, you are in the news so you are a lot more in tune with things than i am. i don't recall a school district being in the news cycle for 30 days straight, at least. steve: yeah, no kidding. >> virtually in the last three weeks a news story every single day. do you think you could come up with something better than we are not discussing critical race theory or we are not teaching it when we're providing evidence. this evidence, by the way, is coming directly from the school

are national security risks. ultimately. and this just proves that republicans have been right all along you have got to be careful on our southern border because bad guys could come on in with the migrants. >> steve, you are right. it goes back even further. this is the shame of all of this on the part of president biden. he and his dhs secretary were briefed and had meetings when he was vice president down in washington. steve: right. >> they know what open borders were doing to the people of our communities in regards to national security and that's not the first group that's come in. this has gone on for a lot of years. it's been reported on by you all and others. this president has chosen, again, to put his personal, political agenda before the safety and security of the people of this nation. there is nothing more fundamental than to be able to support the fundamental protections of our people. that's our obligation, our foremost obligation and to undermine sheriffs and our law enforcement partners at the state, local and federal level

country. but they understand that but as it goes and i say time and time again, the ultimate goal is to gain control utilizing these measures. not necessarily to keep people safe because these measures don't do anything to keep anybody safe. brian: the way you attack a problem look at the problem, examine if there is any consistencies and see if there is something can you do legislatively. for example, look at the last 10 shootings or last two shootings, is there any consistencies there as a gun owner you could see hey, let's work together to solve this so the lunatics don't get guns? what do you see? why didn't they do this? >> well, i wouldn't be surprised if they actually did do this and study this and then came to a conclusion and realized this doesn't fit our agenda. because anybody who sees these shootings can immediately -- the vast majority of mass shootings happen in gun free zones vast majority of these shooters got their guns legally. so, what piece of legislation or law are you going to create to stop these kinds of things

except to put the people, the food people with firearms in a position to better or easily protect themselves when stuff like this does happen? like getting rid of gun free zones. they never entertain that thought. everything they do with respect to the gun control issue is based around how do you further restrict the right, making it harder for good people, it's always a punishment for the good people never anything that's actually designed to empower the good people to fight against bad people. brian: yeah, he is going to announce his head of atf at the same time announcing all of this. also talking about ghost guns where i understand that you can go order parts and put together a gun on your own, no serial numbers, can't be tracked. have ghost guns been addressed? >> i honestly think that the whole ghost gun issue is a red herring. all it is designed to scare the public who really doesn't truly understand this issue at finite level and get them to agree with anything that you say. think about it vast majority of criminals get their guns illegally on the black market anyway or stealing their guns. why are we having this

conversation when it doesn't do anything to actually make brian: right and they always talk about it's not listed here but what president biden has brought up before we got to get rid of assault weapons. your stand on that? >> i absolutely disagree with that. why are we even talking about this to be honest with you with respect to the biden administration. less than 1% of gun deaths in this country are the result of a r-15s which they falsely classify as assault weapons but i can demonstrate and show you tons of cases where people have used ar-15s to protect themselves. why are we even having this conversation? if they are being genuine about it we'd be talking about handgun s because over 80% of gun deaths in this country are committed by way of handguns so it's not about what gun does what. let's get to the root cause of these issues and deal with them but it's a lot easier to just say do you know what? let's just punish the good people and restrict people's rights with legislation because god forbid they roll up their

later, agents arrested and documented an ms-13 gang member now back to texas. in that rgv sector, ainsley, a single-day record of apprehensions, 3,111 in 24 hours , in just that one area of 335% increase from last year, now this as the number of un accompanied children in dhs's caring custody this morning exceeds 20,000. the administration racing to open more emergency child shelters in midland, texas, in dallas, el paso, and in san antonio, this one where you see at freeman colosseum it's under investigation as sexual abuse allegations. the governor of texas, greg abbott, now calling for it to be shutdown. but back here in washington, two weeks after vice president harris is tapped to tackle the migrant crisis, still, no trip planned to the border for her to see it firsthand. she did tweet yesterday, however

, saying this. i spoke with president lopez of mexico today to thank him for his cooperation on migration issues. i look forward to working with him to address the root causes of migration by improving conditions for people in the region including in southern mexico. so, no plans for vice president harris. no plans for president biden to go to the border, but dhs second my orcas will go down there and travel to el paso and mcallen in his third trip to get briefed by these officials tweeting, text ing and calling me saying they've never seen anything like this before, ainsley, brian, steve? steve: griff thank you very much the president and vice president don't need to go. they've seen pictures, they watch the news and know what's going on. just about 15 minutes ago we had on a sheriff from the commonwealth of massachusetts. he had signed a letter along with 275 sheriffs from 39 states urging the president to stop playing politics at the border.

here is the sheriff. >> open borders don't work and they are exposing our citizens to more transnational gangs. the violence in our community, more drugs pouring into our communities, human trafficking out of control and now national security threats and so we want the people of this nation along with the sheriffs to mobilize and let the president know that it's not okay to put his politic s, and this is a wreckless effort on his part to put his politics before the safety and security of the people of this nation and our efforts to keep our promise and our oath to keep them safe. steve: wonder if the white house will write-back to the sheriffs. ainsley: i'm telling you what is heartbreaking too when you're reading about what's happening in san antonio texas, the governor there, governor abbott wants to shutdown one of these facilities and this is why there are allegations inside that facility of sexual assault, understaffing, the kids not being fed enough food, and covid -positive children not being isolated from others and family protective services is

involved. hhs is involved. family protective services says they have confirmed there's three separate reports of abuse. so that, when you know what's happening to these children inside some of these facilities, and then you see these heartbreaking images of kids being thrown over the wall, they don't have their mom with them, they are by themselves, they are three and five years old and this morning we wake up to see the images of that five and six-year-old that are siblings they come in with their mom's phone number on their arm and a note in their hand with their mom's phone number on it and they contacted the mom and trying to maybe get them re connected but they are checking out those kids to make sure they are in good health. these images and then to know that ms-13 gang members are coming through, the yemen terror suspects coming through those are the kids from this morning. brian: and here is what's amazing is you remember the out cry, that donald trump is not humanitarian and he's not treating people with respect, and the aoc coming out saying they are drinking out of toilets we showed you pictures, we're watching kids get dropped off 2u

kids streaming, crying. ainsley: not humane. brian: where is the outrage from senator elizabeth warren? what about former senator kamala harris? what about all of the protest in front of buildings? where is the outrage and other media outlets on the humanitarian crisis solely caused by the rhetoric and the indifference from the current president of the united states? 14 days without a press conference, from a vice president, that got the portfolio of the border, and then they changed it two days later saying no she's going to focus on the other countries. do you know what she's done? made one call to mexico. got the president on the line, take your time. its only been six weeks of hell. greg abbott has had it. the governor of texas has been ignored. he has not been informed, and now, he's getting reports of what's going on in their facility in san antonio, and he had a presser yesterday. >> these problems are a by product of president biden's open border policies.

this facility is a health and safety nightmare. the biden administration is now presiding over the abuse of children. to end this abuse, the biden administration must immediately shutdown this facility. the children who are in this facility should be moved to other federally-run facilities where the federal government has the space, personnel, and resources to ensure their safety. steve: so the state of texas is going to investigate that facility. senator john cornyn has called on on the inspector general of the department of homeland security to investigate. the white house says they will investigate those allegations, ainsley, and they are shocking that you made repeated, that have been made, but here is the thing. the white house said okay we're going to investigate but we don't see any reason at this point to close the place down, and why is that?

because they got no place else to put them. ainsley: tom homan was on our show earlier and he really explained how these facilities, how they choose these facilities this is a non-government organization facility. he said there are government facilities that have people ready and on standby to handle this , that have been trained to handle this but these ngo's are not trained for it and he said these kids are the ones that are damaged as a result. listen to tom. >> here is what they're talking about. the biden administration's contract with ngo's who have no business running these detention facilities. the washington examiner just broke a story last night about the way these contracts are being rub. we have family residential centers that are licensed run by contractors who work through i.c.e., who have pediatricians on site, social workers on site, child psychologists. these were build for vulnerable people, women, and children, and they're practically empty because the biden administration

ainsley: crime is on the rise in philadelphia and critics are pointing to the progressive policies of their district attorney. the city's police union is urging republican officers to switch parties, to vote against

da larry craftner in next month's primary as his own party refuses to endorse him. we can give you some of the numbers. crime in philadelphia is up 32%. in 2020, they had 98 homicides and in 2021, there was 129. then shooting incidents in 2020, 674 and in 2021, 902, up 33.8% and then shooting victims, 2,020 , 359 and in 2021, up to 498. that's up 38.7%. so, guys what's happening in this area? the democratic committee voted not to endorse the incumbent larry craftner because of so many of these crimes going up. let's bring in john mcnesby, the president of the philadelphia fraternal order of police. good morning to you, john. >> good morning. ainsley: so you're asking people if they're republicans asking your officers if they are republicans to switch so that they can vote for the other person. why is that?

>> well right now, we have, most of our members are republican. we're having them switch over to vote in the primary and we're switching them right back, right after the primary. that's so we can get as many votes as we can. if we have officers switch, their families switch, their relatives switch, anybody we can to make sure we knock this guy off come may 18. ainsley: and you want them to vote for carlos vega. why do you like carlos better than larry krasner. >> carlos is a career prosecutor. he was let go under the reign or the wrath of larry krasner. he's experienced, he's very wele s about the people in the community, unlike his opponent. ainsley: why are all these crimes going up there? >> well we have, there's these people on the street doing this and there's not a whole lot of them but they know there's no repercussions. they know if they are caught, nothings going to happen. there's a catch and release program here in philadelphia.

just this past week, we've had a number of homicide homicides, we're over 130 for this year alone, on pace for a record again this year, which is something you don't want to lead the league in. we've had a number of shootings this year, again, kids, everybody, but again, there's no repercussions, no fear, they know nothings going to happen to them. we just had an officer shot last night. we're waiting today to see why the person was out on the street he cut sweetheart deals behind the scenes. he lets people out of jail, and some people need to stay in jail , and that's not happening here in philadelphia. ainsley: his campaign did send us a statement and they said we are unsurprised to see the fop throwing a hail mary begging republicans to change their resignation to vote in the democratic primary, in a desperate attempt to regain relevance. it will not work, the people get to choose and they know that

larry krasner fights for them. what's your reaction to that? >> well guess what? i wish he keeps taking this , if he keeps taking this as lightly as he is we're going to be fine come may 18. the fact is is that he has, he just blows people off. he has no respect for the community. no respect for victims of crime, and i guess a year or two ago it was just the fop out there screaming about this and now, it's in every part and every neighborhood and every part of the city, so people are catching on to this. they realize that it's not safe to be here in philadelphia, and it's not safe while he's sitting in the seat of the district attorney and we need to make a change. ainsley: real quickly are your officers on board with you? >> absolutely. we've got about 9,000 people switched total and hopefully, we'll get that up by the deadline, and carlos is out there working the streets, he's working the neighborhoods, out there connecting with people and that's what we need. ainsley: okay good deal. thank you so much, john, for what you do. thanks for your service.

>> its been very challenging. you know, the main goal what we do at wwe is to put smiles on people's faces so it's kind of hard when we don't have fans there physically but we have had the dome which provides us with virtual fans but wrestlemania was april 10 and 11 will be the first time that we're having fans back and have 25,000 fans each night, we're following safety protocols so we are keeping everyone safe but entertaining everyone. the fans put a smile on our face and going to be amazing to hear the cheers and the boo's and just be able to feed off of them and it's going to feel like a family reunion. steve: indeed, are they going to make you wear a mask or anything like that? what are the safety protocols for the actual wrestlers? >> well we always do social distancing, masks are always required even for the fans, we want to provide masks at the door, there's a cashless concessions, back stage we follow all safety proto protocols we always sanitize everything, and then when we're out there, of course, we're out there in our wrestling gear but following all safety protocols
