fantastic. all right, thanks much, sean. i am laura ingraham and mrs. the ingraham angle. minnesota is on edge, despite the curfew that's been in effect after last nights out of control situation. you saw the looting. first, breaking woke capitalism. that is the focus of tonight's angle. for a long time it's been clear that conservatives have to rethink their relationship with big business. we've been talking about this for a long time. it's increasingly obvious that much of the business community supports an agenda that not only is disastrous for working-class americans but completely at odds with their beliefs and values. i want to walk through a few examples. for starters, most americans are seriously concerned about the growing power of the chinese communist party. it's a force for evil. it crushes freedom everywhere it can. it's building an enormous military.

authoritarianism from the left. third, we need to focus on our real goals. giving more freedom and power to working-class americans. that means government policies that end up encouraging economic growth for all americans, not just corporations or wealthy elites. in time, most people in the business world, i promise you they're going to realize that tying their fortunes of the hard left was a massive, colossal mistake. likewise, over time is going to be come painfully obvious to people living on the coasts that just as "the ingle" predicted, they're going to be left behind. in the meantime were going to continue to build our populist movement in all 50 states with practical solutions that work for all races and creeds. that's "the angle." joining me as victor davis hanson. you called what's happening

right now the great awokenning. what will it make america look like and seem like over the next few years? >> i don't think anybody knows but it's based on a lot of dubious assumptions. one is that merit never really was important. it was a construct. if you want half of the new pilot training candidates are united based on race, it won't matter. if you're going to arbitrarily restrict half the white population that gets into harvard or yale, it didn't matter. or if you're going to lower bar standards, they were too high anyway. that's an experiment. we'll see what happens. i'm very dubious. then there's another and that is the ceos, to take one example, delta, that they are always going to have the power to navigate around their own ideology. it's never going to come back to

devour or cannibalize the architect. their kids will always get to harvard and they can be ceos and they can use their money and influence to dictate to others but it will never come to them. history shows it always comes to them. that's what the bolsheviks told us. they think their money in their privilege will protect them. they think 70% of the population who wants borders secure, who wants voter i.d., who supports oil and gas expiration and doesn't want race to adjudicate admissions and hiring, that they are quiet, sober, passive. that they will never rise up. the 30% who are awoken they control silicon valley and entertainment wall street and the corporations, they are what they have to be afraid of. i don't think that's necessarily right either. >> laura: i want, hold on, hold on. i want to take everyone back to that call. we have to ground people and what just happened over the weekend. i guess now i was about 120 corporations and leaders on this

big zoom call. this guy, the yale professor who organized it, said the strong attendance on the call was a statement of defiance against republican pushback of corporate criticism. we have the top brass of american airlines, united airlines and delta. if they are going to boycott airlines, they better have their own jet, he said. talk about elitist. not anyone can be can billing john kerry on the private jet or any of the other big goldman sachs folks who probably think this is all great. >> i don't think they make very good representatives of the woke movement and they shouldn't lecture people on equity and inclusion and diversity, because that's what they're doing. if you're a ceo at delta and you make $17 million a year and it works out to about $65,000 a day for each working day, i don't think anybody wants to take you very seriously about how committed you are to equity.

7:14 pm
how did it happen. what was the secret to your success? >> thank you so much for having us. it's a great day for religious liberty during the times that many states are celebrating this month. the way we started this is i start of the center for american liberty before the covid restrictions, intending to help represent the people in america being forgotten by the left. when covid rolled around, on the first restrictions california had was threatening to arrest people who were praying in parking lots in their cars, driving up to hear their pastor and a parking lot. the state was threatening them. went to court. we filed it and we lost. we lost in the ninth circuit. we took the case to the united states supreme court and we won the case earlier this year with an injunction. then we partnered with our colleagues at the thomas more society and good friends who are great trial lawyers and they

there are solutions that are not being supported because the money is going to corrupt places like this. >> laura: congresswoman rashida tlaib said something that was pretty interesting about the shooting, saying it wasn't an accident. policing in our country is inherently, intelligently racist. daunte wright was met with aggression and violence. i am done with those who condone government funded murder. no more policing, incarceration, militarization. it can't be reformed. is that not encouraging violent reaction to legal outcome or a tragedy. how is that not inciting a riot? >> laura: 82% of black americans do not support defund the police. they don't believe racial discrimination is the biggest barrier to their future. if rashida tlaib is serious, let her be the first to dismiss the capitol police.

7:31 pm
that's the real crime. even the president of the united states, when he talks about the cdc, that racism, systemic racism is the national health issue for blacks, that is the most damning condemnation of black americans i can think of. black americans are put in a position of being a most like an exotic pet that you must take and follow directions. it's the most insulting and degrading, they need to be challenged to say what does success look like? when we talk about solutions, we can take you to these low income neighborhoods they could use some of the money black lives matter is using to buy these mansions. that's where the money should go. not to buy mansions please hypocrites. to invest in neighborhood level
