tv Hannity FOX News April 14, 2021 6:00pm-7:00pm PDT
6:00 pm
he is behind bars right now at a time when we are told by activists and politicians that white supremacy and/or trump rhetoric has caused this increase in hate crimes against asian-americans. i took a look at the numbers. it's not there. being committed overwhelmingly by black men. >> tucker: the age of irony. jason rantz, thank you. sean hannity from new york. >> sean: thank you and welcome to "hannity." we begin tonight with this fox news alert. tomorrow house democrats will now introduce the bill we warned you about this, sponsored by jerry nadler to pack the u.s. supreme court. reportedly democrats want to expand the number of justices from nine to 13. this is nothing but an unbridled, unconstitutional authoritarian state power grab. it must not pass. the future of our republic between this and h.r. 1 is at stake. we have a lot more coming up
6:01 pm
this hour. also but first tonight, americans and multiple major cities now across the country, they are bracing for yet a fourth night of chaos following the police involved shooting death of daunte wright. we have seen widespread looting and arson and vandalism and violence directed towards police. now the brooklyn center, minnesota, officer who fired that fatal shot, 25 year veteran kim potter, she has resigned and is now charged with second-degree manslaughter. there'll be will be a full investigation and trial if, in fact, she is convicted, she could face up to ten years in prison. at $20,000 fine or both. instead of calling for calm injustice, they left in this country continues to pour fuel on the fire. multiple democratic members of congress now referring to policing as racist, demanding that all law enforcement everywhere be completely abolished except of course at the capital. yesterday joe biden claimed america is back sliding into the
6:02 pm
crow era, said that with oh, al sharpton, putting aside the many big cities in america, yes they have majority minority police departments. look at that list. that would include new york. that would be atlanta. that will be los angeles, baltimore, and dozens of others. we'll keep scrolling. i guess joe forgot that he wants work side-by-side with that former klansman, wants to talk about jim crow 2.0. let's talk about joe biden 1.0 with robert byrd kkk. he joined with robert byrd to stop the integration of our schools because according to biden, his words, not mine, he didn't want kids going to schools or racial jungles. a lot more on this coming up. first, joining is now in the very latest, he's on the ground again tonight in brooklyn center in minnesota, our very own mike tobin. mike, it looks a lot like last night. last night did did not end particularly well. >> the crowd is growing.
6:03 pm
kim potter has been released from hennepin county jail. $100,000 bond. her initial appearance is tomorrow. an affidavit with the criminal complaints has her duty belt was designed with the taser on the left side and a glock 9 millimeters on the right side and designed to be used with the corresponding hand. a statement from the county attorney's office as she will be vigorously prosecuted to prove that she abrogated her responsibility to the public when she used the firearm instead of the taser. when you talk about the crowd that's gathering here, so far tonight they are growing in numbers. you see a lot of people from out of town but mostly what we are getting is a lot of noise out of the crowd. they were shaking the fence for a while. projectiles have been thrown at police. we will see how the night progresses. >> sean: we will be checking back in. thank you. sadly these riots are not isolated to minnesota. last night portland, oregon, so-called demonstrators lit up the police union building on fire, causing significant
6:04 pm
damage. earlier this week the i.c.e. building was set ablaze. officers were inside and then located inside at the time. in seattle, we have multiple individuals arrested for vandalism. in new york, democrat andrew yang, not exactly a conservative, aggressively change the way from a daunte wright protest because he wasn't anti-police enough of a crowd. pretty solid hard-core left-wing. washington, d.c., protesters chanting "every city, every town, burn the precinct to the ground." take a look. >> [chanting] >> burn it down! burn it down! >> every city, every town. every city, every town. >> sean: we should keep in mind that the officer who shot
6:05 pm
daunte wright has been arrested, charged, as i said with second degree manslaughter. the now former police chief stated that the shooting was an accidental discharge and now that now former officer potter meant to reach for her taser and instead deployed her firearm. on the body cam footage, you can clearly hear officer potter shouting i'll tease you. i'll tease you. followed by taser, taser, taser. followed by immediately thereafter with holy, i just shot him. the time, daunte wright was resisting arrest, attempting to flee the scene in his motor vehicle. serious situation. wright had an arrest warrant after allegedly choking and robbing a woman at gunpoint. he was on $100,000 bail. this does not in any way mitigate the tragedy in any way. this began with him resisting
6:06 pm
arrest and attempting to flee. now there's a full-scale investigation ongoing. former police officer potter has been officially charged. the left doesn't really want justice. they want revenge. officer potter's home address was just leaked to the public. that forced law enforcement to erect a fence and guard the property. this comes as we have brand-new footage of a scary situation in georgia. this was early monday morning with three police officers shot by an individual during a high-speed pursuit. take a look. do you want to be a cop today? the suspect was ultimately killed not before seriously injuring three officers in that case. out of new mexico we have the video on monday of the police officer, so-called routine traffic stop, anything but routine.
6:07 pm
he was murdered. we saw the videotape. policing is a tough and dangerous job. there are no routine stops. cop democrats are not just looking to score their usual cheap political points. congresswoman alexandria ocasio-cortez, the real speaker the house, called for police to be abolished, saying that law enforcement is an indefensible system that rewards violence with impunity and money. fellow squad member congresswoman omar say violence is a basic part of police interactions with minorities. congressman two legs writing that america policing is inherently and intentionally racist. call there to be no more policing, incarceration and militarization. it can't be reformed. wonder what that america would look like. the squad leaders, democratic socialist party, they are the ones that are leading. they are the one setting the agenda. biden, pelosi and schumer, yep, they're the ones that they listen to.
6:08 pm
these are inflammatory statements, obviously detached from any truth or any reality. though the congresswoman has made efforts to ban or defund their own police of the u.s. capitol, nor should they. but according to them, and the rest of america, policing is evil, bigoted, needs to be abolished. a few weeks ago there was a political firestorm surrounding some of the bizarre, incendiary statements made by congresswoman marjorie taylor greene. she wasn't even a member of congress. ultimately, well, that congressman had a long talk with minority leader mccarthy, apologized, disavowed past comments, was stripped of all their committee assignments. no one democrats a insane, crazy, absolutely a poor and things like abolish the police, others shrug and that's it. they need to be held accountable for their dangerous, reckless comments and stripped of their committee assignments. you think nancy pelosi will have the courage?
6:09 pm
do you think joe has the courage? do you think chuck has the courage to stand up to them? they don't. as usual there are two standards. democrats, they can spend their conspiracy theories like the russian hoax, and of course if the world would be ending in 12 years so they tell us, they are allowed to call all policing racist. they are allowed to demand law enforcement be abolished. of course the mob, the media, willing accomplices and propaganda arm will never hold them accountable. they fully agree with the radical left in washington. and then there's the ever so sleepy and tired and weak and frail joe biden. he's actually pouring fuel on the fire. making an incredibly tense situation worse. he visited with his good friend the reverend al sharpton at the national action network headquarters and said this about georgia's new voting law yet again. take a look. >> parts of our country are backsliding in the days of jim crow. passing laws that hearken back
6:10 pm
to the era of pull taxes when black people were made to guess how many beans, how many jelly beans in a jar. or count the number of bubbles at a bar of soap before they could cast a ballot. this was un-american then and it's un-american today. >> sean: let's set the record straight, shall we? for the record, in case you care about some level of truth, the new georgia voting law making voting, it makes voting more accessible than before. it makes more accommodating than the laws on the books in joe biden's home state, remember the one he called, "i come from a slave state, that one called delaware. delaware has no in-person early voting at all. none. georgia now has 17 days in person, early voting. in delaware, there are no drop boxes for absentee ballots. in georgia, drop boxes for absentee ballots are available in every county's election office. both states require, yep, voter
6:11 pm
i.d. saliva joe biden never tell the truth about anything? joe, are you saying delaware is jim crow 2.0? why didn't you lift a finger for 50 plus years representing delaware, joe, if you felt so strongly about it. joe's mentor in the senate as i mentioned earlier, former klansman who he praised, robert byrd. joe worked hand-in-hand with a former klansman to stop the integration of schools and he didn't want kids going to schools that are racial jungles. his own vice president all but pretty much called him a bigot in the campaign trail in the debate. joe biden wants to lecture us about jim crow 2.0 because of georgia election law that makes voting infinitely more accessible than joe's home state that he's represented for 50 years? now dozens of huge companies, so-called movie stars, they have teamed up with an open letter condemning georgia's voting law. hey, george clooney, why don't
6:12 pm
you read about delaware's voting law? then come back to us. this has nothing to do with facts. every thing to do with politics. so tonight while the left is seeking to divide and inflame america, for pure political gain, there are plenty of legitimate ways to improve policing around the country. many of them are already in effect including extensive martial arts training. i've been talking about nonlethal alternatives to policing so they don't have just one option. a firearm. nonlethal weapons are available. as many of you know, all police departments have access to taylor's but there are also other options, i mention one last night. i'll mention another one. this is what they call a bolo wrap. look at it. it seems pretty effective. it's a handheld remote restraint device that discharges a lengthy tether to wrap around the subject's legs or arms, effective range of 10 feet to 2.
6:13 pm
i like the one i showed you last night better, that's my own personal preference. you can decide. police department's can decide. we want to improve policing year after year, use new technologies. nonlethal technologies and include more training. while vilifying police won't achieve any of that. he with reaction, fox news contributor dan bongino, fox news correspondent at large, geraldo rivera. i'm sorry, geraldo. i'm tired of joe biden, your president come out there playing the race card. he's been representing the state of delaware for 50 years, geraldo. and then all of these democrats, the real leaders in congress because we know chuck, nancy, jar afraid to stand up to the squad, talking about abandoning police and getting rid of the police department. you like to consider yourself center right. what do you have to say to joe biden and the squad tonight? >> these ideas are stupid ideas.
6:14 pm
forget about them. nobody wants these ideas. but in the elite few on the far left. they have no application in real life. before we go on and let me talk about, you know, what is happening in minneapolis and his other cities, i must say something about the perhaps unintentional misrepresentation of my experience by my esteemed colleague, dan bongino on monday night. i have been covering cops for over 50 years. i am perhaps the most deeply experienced reporter in television history. i have done hundreds of stories over thousands of hours with cops. everything from shoot-outs to executing arrest warrants, to roadblocks to drug raids. you name it, i've been there. i've been to too many cop funerals to even think about. they are horrible. i am a total buff when it comes to cops. cops like me and i like cops. this accident that happened in
6:15 pm
minneapolis was unintentional. involuntary manslaughter doesn't require intent. this was reckless or grossly negligent behavior. i have the solution to the problem. cops where there main weapon, their 9-millimeter usually these days on their dominant hand. let's say your right hand. this is the hand that has the gun. the tasers on the left hand, your secondary hand. so they are taught, use your second -- use the taser in nonlethal situations. my suggestion is reverse it. make the taser the first weapon of choice for a cop. but the taser the dominant hand and the 9-millimeter on the secondary hand. it takes a half a second to get that if you need it in the life and death situation. if you had the taser in your dominant hand are more likely to use the nonlethal weapon and you could avoid the 18 accidental
6:16 pm
police shootings where the cops thought he or she was using a taser, sean. >> sean: dan bongino. >> i don't even know how to respond to that. >> sean: i think you'll figure it out. >> give me a second here to digest. skew and hang. >> hold on the second. >> you are nothing but a name caller, a cheap shot artists. >> sean: geraldo, you got to let him have your say. >> i never talk when he talks because i like him to just say these things because they are so easy to refute but he cannot stop talking. getting to his first point, there's a big difference between reporting on a baseball game and playing it, geraldo. you never worn a badge, period. not interested in your reporting on it because reporters deal with facts and you brought the race card into a the other night when we have this debate despite having no facts to back it up. when i brought up the fact --
6:17 pm
>> how about this fact? blacks are over twice as likely, blacks are twice as likely to be shot by cops than whites. per capita. how about that fact? how about that fact? >> the harvard study. >> sean: one at a time. >> "the washington post" spent a year. >> why do we bother? geraldo knows everything apparently. >> sean: dan. stop. it's your turn. you have the mic. it's because they did an actual study on police contacts and found no systemic racism. it was the department of justice. he doesn't know any of that. secondly, why being a reporter about police -- >> do you have a ten minute -- >> sean: geraldo. >> take a valium. >> sean: stop. let him talk. >> he really got to pipe down. my gosh, you're a 70-year-old
6:18 pm
man. calm down, get a hold of yourself. if you put the firearm on the other side, you would probably have to cross dried because you want to fire with your dominant hand. if you were ever a cop, you would know that but you reported on policing. what's the problem with a cross draw? the problem is when you are tackled and put on the ground, the weapon is more accessible to the bad guy than it is to you. but because you have never done policing, never done control tactics, but you are reporting on it, you wouldn't know any of that. so maybe a little bit of humble pie. back off. stop telling everyone about your great reporting. deal with facts. realize you don't know what you think you know. you just know what you think you reported on. those are two separate things. i don't pretend to be a journalist. i'm an opinion maker. stop pretending to be a cop. >> sean: her aldo. geraldo. >> what dan bongino does is make me -- anything he has just said, is it
6:19 pm
useful on this topic? we are talking about tension from coast-to-coast. cities where there is no violence and rage. i condemn the rioters. the memory of the slain people. the situation. he just interrupt me despite his pontification. what we need to do is assure a very restive public that cops aren't out to get them. we have to reassure the black mothers. there were 991 cop shootings, deaths last year. more than two times as many black people per capita, mostly young black men were killed than white people. if you have that absolute fact and you're trying to reassure her black mother, you have to have some solution. you have to say we have to stop
6:20 pm
these trivial traffic stops. why are six cops responding? >> sean: bring up another point. let me go to dan. dan, we have 100 dead cops already this year there were killed by gunfire. almost 100 cops. that happens every year. america doesn't know their names. we scrolled a lot of them the other night. my point is is that defunding the police is not the answer. there are answers. nonlethal alternatives. i've been talking about them, certainly more training. at the end of the day we can't have what's happening in cities like new york and portland and seattle and around the country where cops are being pelted with bottles and rocks and bricks and molotov cocktails. and precincts are being burned to the ground either. >> why does that happen? this is what geraldo, he completely misses and disconnects. why is it happening, sean? it's happening because of people
6:21 pm
like geraldo continue to pump out a race narrative with no data to back it up at all. there are hundreds of thousands -- >> i just gave you the facts. you only accept facts that you, that you agree with. >> in the course of each day. if there was a plague of police officers hunting black men down at night, i don't understand. if that's happening, where is the massive body count? >> this man, this man is why they have. this man with his baloney. this is baloney. >> he doesn't know what he is saying about it. he is injecting race into the argument. he has nothing else. >> tell that to the black families that see their sons being killed. >> you've got nothing else. >> that's a fact. >> you've got nothing. all you want to do is see the country burn. you just want to see the country
6:22 pm
6:26 pm
6:27 pm
vice president harris saying folks will keep dying if we don't fully address racial injustice and inequalities in our country from implicit bias to broken systems. is this proven to be what happened, madame vice president, in minnesota? some democrats, congresswoman tlaib is one. they want to abolish the police altogether. that prompted louisiana senator john kennedy to say i guess next time you get in trouble, call a crackhead. joining us now, senator kennedy. senator, it raises a fundamental question. let's imagine the squad's vision is reality. okay. somebody's breaking into your house, wants to bring harm to you and your family. who are you going to call? what are you going to do? i know what i'm going to do. i'm pretty sure i know you well enough that you know you would do. >> i'm going to call a cop. i think most people would.
6:28 pm
you may not believe in god. you may not believe in guns. but if somebody breaks into your house. >> sean: it might be too late, senator, if you're waiting for a cop. it might be too late. >> yeah. well, if they break into my house, i mean, i have weapons to defend myself. in terms of this entire discussion about police officers and race, it seems to me, i can tell you what i believe, sean. i don't think most or even many americans are racist. i don't think most americans even think that much about race. i think they think about character. i don't think that most cops are even many cops are racist. in fact many of our police departments are majority minority. i think they do the best they can. the horrible incident that happened north of minneapolis i
6:29 pm
think it was yesterday that dan and geraldo were discussing, i was thinking as they were talking, and i hope nobody got stabbed in the last segment. as they were talking, i was thinking, how many interactions did police officers in this country yesterday have with the american people? my guess is that it was in the thousands, tens of thousands. this instance that happened, it was just horrible. it was horrible for the person killed, for the person's family. it's horrible for the police officer. i think we owe it to ourselves and to them to let's just wait and try to get the facts about what happened. it doesn't appear to me that the officer did it intentionally. and i'm not pretending to be a criminal lawyer and say she
6:30 pm
committed this crime or that crime. but i think we owe it to all of us, ourselves and them, to wait and let's just get the facts. but i meant what i said. if you think, you know, one other quick point, when a radical muslim jihadist blows up a school, were always told, don't judge. all people of the muslim face by the acts of a few and i agree with that. how come the same rule doesn't apply to police officers? and that's why i said if you hate cops just because there cops, i'm not defending bad policing but if you hate cops is because there cops, then you're wrong and next time you get in trouble, just call a crackhead and see how that works out for you. >> sean: senator, we have the body cam footage. i will tase you. i will tase you.
6:31 pm
taser, taser, taser. we here at discharge and holy schiff, i just shopped there guy. i do believe in something called due process. the city manager got fired for saying that, even joe biden got something right and he said it too. we need a full investigation. this officer of 25 years deserves due process. we talk about a fog of war. this was an instance where somebody was out on bail. firearm offense. this person attempted, resisted arrest and attempted to flee. i don't know if it's similar but adrenaline was flowing. do you see that that's a possibility that this was in fact an accidental discharge? >> of course. but let's cut to the chase here, sean. instead of cursing the darkness,
6:32 pm
why don't we try lighting a candle? this debate, let's call it like it is. this is a debate about crime and its relationship to race. that's what this is about. just as it's a statistical fact that more men than women commit crimes, just as it is a fact statistically that more young people than older people commit crimes, it is a fact some ethnic groups have higher crime rates. why? poverty. okay. nobody wants to be poor. if my democratic friends really want to solve this problem, they'll do two things. they'll help us clean up some of our inner-city schools and stop them from being failure factories. number two, we'll have a frank discussion in this country about
6:33 pm
family formation and the fact that a child. a single parent to six times likely to grow poor than the child of a two parent household. i'm not saying that a single mother cannot be a good parent. i'm not saying that. i'm saying that the two incomes are better than one. if you want to do something about poverty. >> sean: senator, let me interrupt you for a second. i want to bring something up. we now have seen these deep blue states run by democrats for decades, cities run by democrats for decades, we pay more per capita for a child on the education with the worst results. if you look at the cities that are, that are less safe and secure. rudy giuliani showed you could clean up new york city. there's a way to do it and you save lives by doing it. it could be duplicated in places like chicago. they don't do it. i would argue that if we care about our national treasure, our children, in every town in every
6:34 pm
city, we owe it to them to keep them safe and secure with law and order and we owe it to them that they get a quality education. that has not happened. they have failed spectacularly. >> excuse me, i'm sorry. you know what i would do in new york if i were king for a day tomorrow? i would take all of the money that state and local government puts up for elementary and secondary education, and i would go to the parent or parents of every child in a city or f school in new york and i would say here's a check, take it and go spend it at any school you want to. let's have vouchers. let's have charter schools. let's have competition. it will make public schools better. it will help break the cycle of poverty. you will see violence is common
6:35 pm
and learning is rare. so often it's determined by zip code. the people who need an education the most are in the worst possible schools. i don't see how my democratic friends can't possibly want to keep people trapped in failure factories. >> sean: i've got to run, senator. we have some breaking news. we appreciate you being on. thank you, sir. go back. things are getting a little heated on the ground in minnesota. we go back to our own mike tobin who is in the middle of all of it. mike. >> sean, it's kind of a repeat of what we saw last night. as the sun went down, the tensions came up during the back-and-forth started. one of the things i can show you is that the sheriff's deputy in right gear, they approached the fence and about five, 10 minutes ago, they came out with pepper spray against anybody who was at the fence. what you may notice and i'll show you, what is laying around
6:36 pm
here are these bottles of milk. what we have seen the demonstrators doing is as soon as they get hit with pepper spray, they start pouring the milk on their faces with the idea that the milk is going to soothe the burn a little bit. it's a back-and-forth. we've had fireworks fired in the direction of law enforcement, fireworks fired in the air. and you've got the people at the fence. projectiles have gone over the fence and you have got this yeae sheriff deputies holding the integrity of the fence. the back-and-forth will continue. curfew is set at 10:00. we are just going to have to watch how it progresses. frankly i think it's going to be rather predictable. it will develop very similar to what we saw last night, if i can look into the future, sean. >> sean: there had been talk in the city about prohibiting police officers from being able to use tear gas or rubber bullets as a means of dispersing crowds.
6:37 pm
what's an update on that? is there anybody there that wants to tell you why they are there and what they think of the police and why they are participating in activities where they are throwing projectiles at cops. i don't know, apparently looks like a man of the cloth or somebody. i don't know if that's a suit. it looks like it may be a clergyman of some kind. i might be wrong. anyway, anybody want to talk to you? are they still throwing things at the cops? >> they are still throwing things at the cop. the first part of your question, the city council here did vote to bandanna the use of gas. in terms of the law enforcement response to the rioting, demonstrating in the curfew enforcements, the hennepin county sheriff's calling the shots on that. he doesn't necessarily fall into agreement with the city council. i can tell you there some kind of chemical irritant in the air tonight.
6:38 pm
we see the pepper spray being used. can't necessarily tell you that was teargas. explicitly named by the city council in terms of what they say can't be used. in terms of talking to people in the crowd, i don't know if that's gonna make live tv. normally they're going to say something horrible if i go interview them. they want to be hostile when i try to get their viewpoints out. i do that off the air. generally what we are getting is that they are not satisfied with the charges. they don't think they are severe enough. haven't gotten a lot of reaction since the police officer in question bonded out. that's the situation. they are hostile. they are here and they are angry. it's consistent as it has been throughout the process. >> sean: mike tobin, will be going back to you throughout the evening. we really appreciate it. also tonight, some foreign leaders are beginning to hold biden accountable for a self-inflicted border crisis. for example, the president of guatemala revealing in a recent interview that it was biden's
6:39 pm
confusing message on immigration that spurred what is now an unmitigated disaster of migrants in central america, surging to our southern border. remember donald trump securing the border. joe biden opened it back up. entice people to come. welcomes people to come. that's now emboldening smugglers, human traffickers, coyotes. the democrats, reckless radical agenda that doesn't stop there. breaking tonight, the democrats will unveil legislation to literally pack the u.s. supreme court. what frankly is the biggest power grab in over a century. the bill being led by jerry nadler in the house, that radical, it would expend the court from nine justices to 13 and basically turn the court into a rubber stamp for their extremist socialist agenda. here with reaction to this and breaking news, republican congressman jim jordan. former white house chief of staff mark meadows. mark, forget the issue of the border, which is an
6:40 pm
unmitigated disaster. let me go to the issue of policing. mark, before i forget the issue donald trump showed everybody how to handle moments like this. yet it's not being duplicated and i'm not sure why. >> where is joe biden and no condemnation, where is kamala harris question what they were quick to call on president trump to condemn any kind of violence. he was quick to do that. not only in places like portland and washington, d.c., but in minnesota as well. and yet what we see is the sound of silence. really this is all about an agenda that is tearing at the very fabric of who we are as a nation. it's time that we support our law enforcement officers, and that due process take its place like you said. unfortunately we see very strong weakness out of the white house right now. >> sean: yeah, your take, jim jordan. >> condemn the violence, secure
6:41 pm
the border by putting in place president trump's policy and don't pack the court, for goodness sake. it's common sense. this is how radical the left has become. think about this, the left controls big media, big tech, sports, hollywood, they control higher education. they control the congress, the white house and now because they don't have control of the supreme court, they're going to add more people to the court. they control everything. as a radical takeover of our country. we better stop. we are in committee and we are going to offer an amendment to address this issue. we asked jerry nadler, is this the truth? he wouldn't answer the question. now we are hearing there's a press conference tomorrow where they are going to brag about taking over the court. this is how radical the left is today and every single one to stand up and defend the values and principles that made our country special. this is scary where they want to go. >> sean: let's talk about where they want to go. >> sean, jim is exactly right.
6:42 pm
jim's exactly right. what they are doing right now is tearing down the very institutions that they started to blame donald trump about tearing down. this is the democrat left that has become the norm. moderate joe biden is no longer -- what they want to do is they couldn't beat donald trump at the ballot box so they change the election law. they couldn't actually get the rule of law to go in their favor and support their leftist agenda, so they're going to pack the courts to get the kind of ruling there. americans won't stand for it. i'm glad we've got people like jim jordan on the judiciary committee and his fellow colleagues that are going to fight back. all of america needs to fight back on this issue. >> sean: packing the courts. amnesty. we have seen. can you imagine of donald trump built the cages that joe biden is putting these kids in? and then shipping all over the country in the middle of a pandemic. then you've got states like, what, now the governor and jerseys offering $40 million in
6:43 pm
money, covid emergency relief money to illegal immigrants. in new york state they are offering checks to illegal immigrants as high as $15,000. jim jordan. we look at the spending. 2 trillion here and 3 trillion here and 4 trillion in new taxes. we will call infrastructure anything we want even though it's not infrastructure. we'll say it's covid emergency release went only 9% goes to emergency relief. >> it's radical, sean. imagine. they are going to go from nine to 13 on the court. imagine if we went the other direction and said we're going to take it from nine to five. keep thomas, alito, gorsuch and kavanaugh, connie barrett but we are going to get rid of roberts and sotomayor and kagan and breyer. can you imagine what they would say? that's exactly what they're going to try to do starting tomorrow when they introduce the bill on top of all that you just said, it's frightening where they want to take the country. i keep saying this is why we've all got to speak out.

i can tell you that right now when jim was talking about, this open border situation that we have, this is not incompetence. it was a little bit of incompetence at first. this is intentional. they have gone from incompetent behavior to intentional behavior. what they are doing, whether it's in new jersey giving taxpayer dollars to illegal immigrants or whether it's sending your money to guatemala and el salvador as a bribe to try to keep people from coming here, americans are sick of it. i believe our senators will stand up to it. >> sean: all right, jim jordan, mark meadows. thank you both. when we come back, we have new tape. project veritas exposing cnn's blatant bias probably one of their best tapes ever. james o'keefe and that tape straight ahead.
