daunte wright was met with aggression and violence. i'm done with those who condone government-funded murder. no more policing, incarceration and militarization. and her pal and squad mate aoc echos her. and former president obama simply wants to reimagine policing, whatever that means. and don't you dare accord police their constitutional rights. you know the same rights illegals get even if we don't know their names and background. the latest example, the city manager of brooklyn center where

wright was shot. the city manager was shot for saying the officer should be given due process. >> they are entitled to due process with respect to discipline. this employee will receive due process. judge jeanine: since when aren't police entitled to constitutional rights? police are quitting all across the country. while police have our backs, no one, and i mean no one has theirs. i for one am tired of hearing police called contrac -- calleds and government sanctioned murderers. i have been to far too many funerals of police officers who gave their lives for someone they didn't even know.

i prosecuted them including a white cop who shot a black man. why is no one talking about the armed insurrection on our streets across america. and crime is up by huge numbers across the country especially in big cities. last week two children were shot in new york city. chicago, baltimore, l.a., new york, oakland, washington, these shootings happen all the time. especially every weekend on the south side of chicago where black lives are lost as a result of black on black crime. it doesn't matter how old the victim is. the outrage is only if a cop pulls the trigger. when that happens, the marching and the riots starts. then there is the defund the

police. oakland tried that and couldn't figure out why there was a rise in crime, then reinstated the funding. are cops really that stupid in the ones who are staying are not making arrest because they fear prosecution from prosecutors looking to indict cops, not criminals. in 2020 -- in 2020, 45 police officers were killed by gunfire. in 202017 plan men were killed by police. the chances of you have being shot as an unarmed blackman is .000017 percent. if democrat leftists get their

way there will be true anarchy on the streets of america. then who do we call, ghostbusters? make no mistake, these leftists speak for very few people. 81% of african-americans don't want police defunded. in fact they want the same or more police. democrat politicians make you want to think blacks wake up every day to kill blacks. maybe they would understand what it's like for minorities who are overwhelmingly the victims of crime. even jackie lacey and her husband who was charged for taking out a gun to defend themselves from protesters. no one puts themselves in the shoes of the law enforcement

officer who is trained to respond and make a decision based on what they know at the moment of interaction. not what the monday morning quarterbackers gather. take a listen to the call that brought officer eric stillman to the dark alley in chicago on the night adam toledo was shot. >> we just heard 7 or 8 gunshots fired. the 2300 block of sawyer. >> did you see anything? >> no, i just heard it. >> 6 or 7. judge jeanine: imagine the dark alley officer stillman is in. he's giving chase after being sent to the scene with a report of shots fired. >> we are talking about a barely 13-year-old, developmentally

disabled special needs kid who is in 7th grade. who is shot. there is a lot of layers there, sociological and so forth. parents are as fearful of police as they are of gang -- gang bangers or crooks. jesse: police officers make a split second decision, kill or be killed. officer stillman knew this was an area where latin gangs congregated. after patting count first suspect, there were two of them, and he found no gun. but he saw something transferred between the two individuals so he gave chase to the second suspect. yelling stop, stop now, chicago police, show me your hand, show me your hand, drop it, drop it.

those words are not suggestions. they are commands. but an officer sees a gun in the right hand of toledo and in less than one second from the time he sees the gun he shoots. then he tries to render aid for toledo then calls for help. he shot only once because he knew the situation was contained. there is a war going on on the streets our large city. we give police officers the authority to demand compliance. there was no compliance. there was a chase and repeated demand. in 8/10 of a second from seeing the gun the officer made the decision to shoot. this is not a level playing field. one is an individual fleeing down an alley from law enforcement who later is found to have gunshot residue on his

the left's push to further their brad cal agenda by facing the supreme court. >> the republicans stole two seats on the supreme court, now it's up to us to repair that damage. we must expand the court and abolish the filibuster to do it. >> some people will say we are packing the court. we are unpacking it. judge jeanine: senator lindsey graham joins me to react to that. first question to you. when they say the supreme court is broken and they need to fix it. what are they talking about? >> it's conservative and they wanted it to be liberal. there is nothing broken about the supreme court. there are 9 justices. it's been that way since 1869. they want to turn it upside down

to pack it with liberals. every time one party takes over from the other we'll change the number of justices. you have you been a lawyer all your life. it will destroy the rule of law as we know it. the idea of packing the court so liberals can make it liberal rather than changing the mickup through the election process the way we have don't for a long time. this is a dramatic bold move and i will do everything within my power to stop it in the senate. if it wrote become a political football. judge jeanine: there is no question it would be just another branch of political government. even ruth bader ginsburg said it was a bad idea to pack the court. they can rule on anything. they can rule on the second amendment. on abortion. on unions.

on any one of a number of issues. it doesn't matter. >> the court matters. >> to all of us. i want to move on because there always lot of news. today president biden said for the first time that the -- that there was a crisis at the border. i think we have some sound on that. >> the problem was the refugees -- judge jeanine: it's not clear what he's talking about. but he initially said they were going to captain refugees at 15,000 and aoc has a conniption

and he admits there is a crisis at the border. >> it's chaos. we had 172,000 people come into the country illegally in march alone. we are on track to do 2 million. the border patrol told the biden administration during the transition. if you reverse policy on the border. you have the russian threatening the ukraine. president. the chinese threatening taiwan. we are going to make sure the taliban takes care of al qaeda and isis. joe biden created a lot of instability in what short period of time. if he doesn't get tougher with the iranians they will have a bomb before you know it. i'm worried about the world under the biden administration. they are clueless in my view in

terms of the threats we face at the border and abroad. judge jeanine: let's talk about afghanistan. i know you feel strongly about it. there are 2,500 military forces there. why are you so against removing them? >> they are an insurance policy against another 9/11. the last type we ignored afghanistan we had 3,000 americans killed. afghanistan was a safe haven for al qaeda. have we learned nothing from iraq? when we withdraw from these places and don't have an insurance policy residual force to watch the bad guys, they come back here. if you don't have your foot on their throat over there, they fight over here. we hado -- we had 3,000 or 4,000

folks on the ground. i think bind left us naked. i'm worried we'll pay a heavy place for leaving afghanistan. they will come roaring back and we'll have to go back in. if you don't believe me, believe the military. he was advised not to do this iraq, he did it. he was advised not to do it in afghanistan and he did it anyway. he was told by the border patrol don't change trump policies, you will loss control of the border. i'm worried about the state of the world under joe biden. judge jeanine: senator lindsey graham. thanks for being us tonight. why did democrats call to defund the police are so dangerous and

this morning as one police officer is doused and another is hit in the face with a liquid chemical during a routine traffic stop. the man then drove off and crashed a short time later. officers on the screen discovered more molotov cocktails in the vehicle. fortunately the officers are reportedly doing fine at this hour. maybe it's time for elected officials to stop vilifying cops and start supporting the men and women who put their lives on the line to protect us. anne marie shubert joins us to react. what else it going to take for police or the public to realize that defunding the police and trashing the place will only

create a state of chaos. >> i think we are in the state of chaos in major urban cities. if you look across the country, violence is off the charts. in philadelphia fushed rates are up 30%. in thanks county it's up 200%. most americans wants the same thing, they want to feel safe in their homes. and the fact is, you have to have law enforcement to keep us safe. are there ways to improve public safety? yes. but not to do away with police agencies. judge jeanine: chris cuomo said there won't be police reform until white people's kids get killed. he says what's going on with the police. maybe we shouldn't even have police. this is starting to be not just

congress people, but mainstream media. >> i think if you look, there is a big difference between renorm normand -- reform and anarchy. there have been major reforms especially in california with police training. but there is a big difference between reform which may be needed in law enforcement across the country and anarchy. saying we need white people killed to prove a point -- the fact is we need police and really most violent crime unfortunately occurs in neighborhoods where we have communities of color. so the victims of violent crimes are those individuals. the fact is that we need law enforcement to protect all of us. judge jeanine: i will go to you merks rvin brookings.

you have a foundation called brother to brother. there was a time when you didn't think highly of cops. tell us about that and what you are doing now. >> that's true. in my youth when i wasn't anchored in principled living. i made choices that landed me in prison. coming home from that experience -- at that time i didn't realize how many people that negative example i set impacted. coming home i made a point to do as much as i can to provide a positive role model for individuals in my community. that's what brother to brother is all about. being positive role models in our community. >> it seems like it's never been needed more than now. what is it going to take for people to realize that's they

are playing a dangerous game. it started two years ago, and the assault on police is shocking. how do we stop it? >> i think we have to take the politics out of the conversation. the politics are polarizing. i'm not a fan of defunding the police. but what i will say, when you hear african-americans say defund the police, understand that's coming from a place of anger, hurt and frustration because of the shootings of unarmed african-american men by law enforcement. buff with that, if you continue to conversate with these people. you will find the conversation is more about reforming as opposed to reforming. i think it's counter productive when we use that language.

are anti-police. glad you took the pain of losing your friend and you turned it into something positive and you are trying to make everybody better from it. judge jeanine: what they failed to mention is this minnesota statehouse representative has a history of using disgusting anti-cop rhetoric. watch. how can cnn justify giving someone like this a platform to discuss anything relating to policing in america. good evening, joe. why was cnn give any kind of platform to someone like that saying blue lives ain't worth you know what. >> cnn's audience since january is down 50%. half of their audience is gone. donald trump is off the stage.

it's like staking tony soprano off the sopranos. so they have to fall back on --back on this racial divide. we remember 2020 in the summer where you had a cnn reporter literally standing in front of a burning building and the chryon was mostly peaceful protests continue. in the meantime there are burning buildings. 2020 was one of the most deadly years for cops since 1974. 264 police officers died in 2020. some of that was due to covid. police officers can't take a day off because there is a pandemic going on. they were shot and they were aimed at and this was something that again we have seen police

officers retiring in record numbers across the country as a result of this anti-cop rhetoric from places like cnn. judge jeanine: right now i think we have a video of some protesters, according to done lemon who started a small campfire. take a look at this one. >> some of the protesters started a campfire to stay warm in the middle of the street. shortly after that they moved in from the police station and from the north side of the police station as well, boxing everybody in. >> a small campfire in the middle of the street. are they kidding? >> i lived in new york city for a while. we lit camp fires all the time in urban areas. they are not campfires. they are fires. we are talking billions of dollars in damage from all those

riots we saw. you see a media that refuses to call riots riots. they keep calling them protests. can we come to a compromise and call them mostly peaceful riots? every time there is a police shooting and we don't have all the details there is a rush to motive where officers are assumed guilty until proven innocent. we say the with adam toledo where he was shot but he also had a gun on him by the way at that time. and the police officer, you see the body cam video, a split second he has to decide what do i do here, i just saw somebody with a gun i can't seat gun, he's turning towards me. what do you do in that situation in now they are saying that police officer should never work again. that's just not the way it works, jeanine. judge jeanine: it's a sad sad

state of affairs. when it gets to congress and commentators on television saying we don't need police, you have got to wonder what's next. judge jeanine: still ahead. my closing statement on what we know about those alleged russian bounties. the left isn't letting the english language get in the way of their mission to remake america. which word are they trying to redefine now. we have their hit list along with leo terrell and kim klacik to react.
