military brass when president biden announced he will end the war in afghanistan and bring our troops home. the move is long overdue and was a gold the trump administration but biden is not going to get the credit he deserves in ending one awful war if he hopes segment and even more damaging one here at home. far from governing as a moderate figure some of these suburban women likely thought he would be biden is a radical and his policies and poisonous narratives are already hitting american against american along racial, ethnic, political and economic lines. for starters there's his fbi's move to surveillance target trump supporters as domestic extremists. >> they call themselves patriots, they've been revealed to be traders and terrorists. >> the republican party can no longer say they don't agree with the insurrectionist. >> there are legitimate white supremacists and advises that sit at the heart and core of the

12:03 am
>> the cynical twisted approach, fueling racial unrest and a lot of unhappiness but historical and cultural devastation. this is what the marxist radicals did in new york city thursday night. as the angle told you months ago last summer's attack from our historical markers and monuments were never really -- the confederate summary is dead. it was one more step toward erasing our historical understanding altogether. these were the tactics of the worst dictators of the twentieth century from lenin, stalin to mao. a revolution requires the people reject everything that came before so it could be replaced with a new collectivist agenda. that is precisely what blm, antifa, what they want, they are

not being embraced and advanced by the larger democrat party, and the larger democrat party also includes joab sold bias. interview with bet obama encouraged black americans to keep marching, keep speaking up, keep voting. he added police violence and other reminders of the legacy of bigotry and unequal treatment can make people question if things will ever get better. that coming from obama. it for me a racist country elected a black man president not once but twice. imagine. oh, wait, we did. he went on to accuse republicans the first likely the divide and demoralize strategy his own party is using saying they know they can't win you over with their policies so they are hoping to convince you your vote

of your voice doesn't matter, that is how they win. the facts don't lie and needed to numbers, trump's america first, low taxes policies including keeping pressure on the labor market, keeping it tight, keeping the pressure on china was a boom for all americans but especially for minorities and blue collar workers. remember median household income raise $6,000 after it had been stagnating for almost two decades. if obama had done what trump did for black workers he would still be bragging about it, but the democrat machine lies on division because it can't risk telling the truth. there open borders, anti-police, high tax policies are a complete disaster for working-class americans of all backgrounds. obama, biden, harris, pelosi, schumer, they know full well the populist conservative agenda is hard to beat, but lucky for them

12:07 am
all of this happening, chicago mayor lori lightfoot has taken bold action, she wants to require that police obtain permission from their supervisors before they can start chasing down suspect on foot. that is going to work well and she's not alone. new york state attorney general letitia james proposed new york city police cease altogether routine traffic stops. berkeley california already bad offices for making stops for many traffic offenses in cities like lansing, michigan, dc following suit. >> you've got to show the law enforcement wants work hand in glove on those matters that improve the system, not stopping people because the taillight is out, not stopping people because their license is expired. this continues the discredited

pandemic, people are still demoralized and feel somewhat locked down and scared but they stayed together. >> they are on the same page with destroying civilization, give them a little credit for that. one thing we have to keep in mind when you look at the images in new york city, we are always tempted to say this mob rule. i have said that and it looks like mob rule. that is not exactly the case because you have the elites, the most powerful people in the country who are engineering this, allowing this to happen, encouraging it so it is not exactly, those people who are using the mob to affect their ends. the mob is manipulated by people like joe biden, this week we have seen from the white house a few of the most repugnant and irresponsible things we've seen
12:11 am
from a white house in a long time. we have joe biden essentially calling for guilty verdict in the chauvin trial while the jury was deliberating and then in the shooting in columbus, ohio with the girl with a life about to stabs someone to death, the hero cops stop that from happening and what does the white house do the next day, they throw him under the bus and accuse him of racism, they tie that shooting in systemic racism. say whatever you want about donald trump and his tweets or his rhetoric, he never did or said anything close to either one of those things and this is what we get from joe biden in just a week. >> a professor in new york was on msnbc today with a very special take on policing. >> it is beyond a few bad apples, a few incidents. we need to have a real systematic widespread clearing out of officers, it has to be a systemic change from washington dc to police across the country.
12:12 am
shannon: it really, the professor's world, we are living on a college campus, we can't ever graduate from the professoriate seem to be in charge. >> it is so delusional the idea of systemic racism in policing, police are out there hunting and killing innocent black men. it is entirely delusional, not even close to true but you could add to that that in a given year there is something like 10 million arrests, about 1000 shootings of those arrests. very small percentage already and the vast majority of those is a straightforward case, a reason you never hear about, blm doesn't talk about, even those involving black men they don't talk about because the vast
12:13 am
majority of cases is really straightforward, someone shooting a cop trying to kill a cop and only a small small small tiny sliver of a percentage is the suspect unarmed in most of those cases it is a way suspect and in most cases on white or black they are in the process of trying to kill a cop another way, trying to run him over or something like that. the systemic problem we hear about doesn't exist. it is an invention of the left. laura: i want to turn to the aftermath of the chauvin trial, the doors speaking out about the fear she and her colleagues felt. here's what the juror in question lisa christiansen told cnn yesterday. >> i was concerned for my safety to a point depending on we haven't heard any facts or anything yet so depending on which way it went i felt like some people, certain groups might feel certain ways so i was
12:14 am
concerned about that. laura: she was more explicit in an interview with a local reporter saying i felt like either way you were going to disappoint one group or another and i didn't want to go through rioting and distraction again. i was concerned about people coming to my house if they were not happy with the verdict. joining us is alan dershowitz, his new book the case against the new censorship is just out. it is hard to imagine that sense of fear didn't impact the jury in some way that we won't know, we will never know. shouldn't have called in every single juror after congresswoman waters made her statements, the judge said it was -- why not call them insurers and ask them did you know about this statement? are you afraid? do you have the fear that if
12:15 am
you're coming out with a vertex it could cause riots, i have absolutely zeroed out jurors in that jury were worried about their own welfare if they were to come to a conclusion that murder was not committed, if they came to a verdict of manslaughter or not guilty they would worried their own welfare, their children, their businesses, their schools, their neighborhoods would be burned down and they were not the only ones who were worried, every police chief, every mayor, the president of the united states and the jurors were under enormous pressure. that is not the way the system is supposed to operate. jurors are supposed to be isolated, insulated, they should have been segregated, they should have been kept in a separate hotel room during the entire process and never should have been allowed to hear what people like maxine waters rose good.
12:16 am
laura: are you concerned about a precedent being set with this trial with future trials of people, police officers, others? doesn't this set its own precedent? >> we already see that with kim potter who committed no crime whatsoever having been charged with manslaughter, we see it with the other three accessories. we don't know whether they will get a sequestered jury but the trial will take place in minneapolis. that is a mistake, it will be hard for the judge in that case to make a decision whether to sequester. if the judge sequesters it will be a slap in the face to the judge in chauvin. if the judge doesn't -- shannon: the constitution i don't think we want to terrify jurors, terrified jurors are going to be under pressure to come down one way or another,
