>> shannon: we are out of time. to set your dvr every week fox news at night with ivo welcome to "watters world" i'm jesse watters breaking tonight brand new information backing the lab league theory of covid-19. this as president biden hasn't even bothered to ask china about it. there could be a reason for that involving doctor anthony fauci and the scientific community may be covering it all up. why? for money -- nicholas wade investigative reporter who covered science for almost 30 years at the "new york times" just wrote an article
11:01 pm
breaking down the likely origin of the coronavirus that has killed over 3 million people worldwide. in the 30 page article he explores all of the evidence behind the two competing theories. the lab theory, versus the nature theory. wet market. wade singles out two groups that push the theory that covid sprang randomly from nature and not a lab. one group wrote an opinion piece on march 17th, 2020 in journal of nature medicine the authors were group of those led by christian anderson from scripts research institute, and a letter said this. our analysis clearly shows that sars covid too is not a lab construct or a purposefully manipulated virus. but it looks like one in the virology community checked work of these five virologist it is
11:02 pm
puzzles because hypothesis is full of high schools wade explain motivation careers can be destroyed for stepping out of line. and any virologist who challenges declared view risks having his next graduate application turned down. by the panel of fellow virologists and advises government on grant distribution agency. bottom line, too much money was at stake. take peter, president of ecohealth alliance of new york now he drafted the plansit letter widely used by the media to push the antilab leak theory. that letter stated, we stand together to strongly condemn conspiracy theories suggesting that covid-19 does not have a natural origin. now peter's organization fund the coronavirus research at the wuhan newt. the place where many believe the
11:03 pm
virus escaped from. pretty big conflict of interest here. the guy who funded risky virus research at the wuhan lab calls claims virus escape from there a conspiracy theory. so how do we know that a virus like this was in a lab being studied and that it got out if we have no vaccine? because peter said so in december of 2019. listen. >> then we started looking where did they come from and we went out to southern china and did surveillance across southern california and we've now found after, you know, six, seven year of doing this and over a hundred -- new sars related coronaviruses very close to sars -- some of them get into human cells and the lab and some of them can cause disease in human and untreatable with
11:04 pm
therapeutic -- and you can't vaccine against them with a vaccine. so these are clear and present danger i think coronavirus is a pretty good you're a virology you know all of this stuff and manipulate them easily dispite protein drives what happens in front of us. is at risk -- >> so when john roberts asked president trump this in april of 2020, it makes sense. >> president multiple sources are telling fox news today that the united states government now has high confidence that while the coronavirus is a naturally occurring virus, it emanated from a virology lab in wuhan that because of lack safety protocols in intern was infected who later infected her boyfriend and then went to the wet market in wuhan where it began to spread does that correspond with what you have heard -- >> i don't to say that john but will i tell you more and more we're hearing the story and
11:05 pm
we'll see. >> peter did an interview with democracy now right after that, blasting the lab theory -- >> the -- the idea that this virus escaped from lab is just pure bologna it is simply not true i've been working that lab for 15 years and the samples collected were clengted by me and others in collaboration with our chinese colleagues. but some of the best scientists in the world. and there was no viral in the lab and no coach in virus and anything related to sars coronavirus too so it is not possible an like you say it is really a plit cityization of the origins of a pandemic and it is really unfortunate as president trump said he's been hearing -- have been around since day one of the outbreak and they're around in every single outbreak of a novel virus someone says this has been manufactured in a lab. >> so if it wasn't from the lab
11:06 pm
then it had to be just randomly -- from from nature nicholas wade explains this this article about natural emergence. what became clear was that the chinese had it no evidence to offer the commission. in support of the natural emergence theory this was surprising because both the sars one and sars left copious traces in the environment. in a host species of sars one was identified within four months of the epidemics outbreak. and the host of those within ninths. yet some 15 months after sars to pmed pandemic began after presumably intensive search chinese researchers had failed to find due to original bat population or the intermediate species to which sars too might have jobbed for any evidence
11:07 pm
that any chinese population including that of wuhan had ever been exposed to is the virus plighter december 2019. wade points out that the lab theory probable virologist believe they can get ahead of a pandemic by conducting what is called gain of function experiment. and these experiments manipulate natural viruses to make them more deadly to humans. and then they can work backwards to invent vaccine secure it these are incredibly risky experiments. incredibly risky. researchers retrieve bats from caves, study the coronaviruses in the lab and before gain of function experiments increasing their ability to attack human cells in order to get a jump on these vaccines and development. so how do we know all of this? because our own government several years ago partially under direction of dr. anthony
11:08 pm
fauci helped fund this type of risky research. bat lady as she's referred to set out to create novel coronaviruses with a highest possible infectivity for human cell this is information would help predict the livelihood of spillover, the jump of a coronavirus from bats to people. it cannot yet be stated that she did or did not generate sars too in her lab because her records have been sealed. but it seems she was certainly on the right track to have done so. the scientific community is beginning to splinter earlier this year bill maher had two biologists on the show that said this about the lab theory. >> the virus did start in the lab. it would almost be a conspiracy theory to think it didn't start in the lab. right? the virus attacks so many different tissues in the body does not seem natural.
11:09 pm
the fact that it does not at least at the if beginning did not steam to transmit outdoors nearly at all is very conspicuous afterall most animals live outdoors so a virus that seems to be adapted to indoor transmission is a bit conspicuous. joining me now is author of the piece and investigative science writer nicholas wade. so thank you for writing this article, i think every american should read what you've written. nicholas -- what i was struck by initially was fact that scientific community really coalesced around i would say almost propaganda shutting down any lab lack theory hypothesis labeling a conspiracy theory you're saying there may have been a motivation we don't know about behind that. tell us about that. >> well regular summary of the story --
11:10 pm
there's been a wall of science from biologists on this issue. and as you've indicated they do have a lot at stake because they've been doing these gain of function experiments that are about 20 years and they do have enormous risks attached to them. and they would seem especially if the virus did indeed escape from doctor shy lab there was a bis miscalculation of the size of these risks. so what we've had so far with two statements by ones that you mention one from doctor -- and one has in medicine and these -- these are dismissed any reviewers a conspiracy theory and naturally and all other viral -- of sort of gone in line behind those two statements even though as you mention they're sort of holes. so i think they realize that you
11:11 pm
know, if it does turn out a leak there's enormous blowback and people are going to be -- wondering what they're doing. >> exactly. and it is just -- inconceivable how experiments like this were taking place in a lab that was just not up to snuff in terms of safety protocol and it seem like people were aware of the fact that this lab in wuhan did not have the right protocols in place during these experiments. explain to the audience the mounting evidence that this virus, you know, was in originally but was somehow manipulated in a lab. >> well, first of all we didn't actually learn there was ever. one of the ancestors must have come from bats but since it is close to your age -- that backfires, but the evidence that it may have been manipulated comes on several
11:12 pm
fronts. one thing is from the very start it was very well adapted to humans. but most -- most vaccines of this type when they spill over take a long time and many mutations to get themselves into a really good pathogen this one was from the start. you can easily explain that if you see it has been grown in what they call humanized mice so standard in the lab for -- studying thesing, obviously, you can't test without people. so genetically engineer mice so cells of their airways have human protein looks to virus like a human airway. so if you grow up viruses in humanized mice and they escape well, of course, they're going to be very good at attacking human cell that's one big indication that the virus may have been manipulated. another, of course, is the very obvious common sense one -- the broke out in wuhan. the pandemic which is the china
11:13 pm
meeting lab into this virus. so it is hard on natural emerging scenario to imagine how it broke out someplace else built itself up into a human pathogen and without infecting anyone else -- the guy who was infected jumped on train to wuhan didn't infect anyone on the train and got to wuhan that he started spreading -- it just doesn't make a lot of sense. jesse: so before we go and this has been documented that -- i believe it was under the obama administration that there was funding sent from our government to these labs in wuhan and doctor fauci and someone else actually approved this type of risky gain of function research at the lab. do you think that that's a
11:14 pm
reason why the united states has been so -- touchy about confronting china becausing our tax dollars may have funded some of this risky research? >> yes an interesting issue i think we should not jump on it but facts are not very clear it is certainly to natural health was funding this research. over many -- many and it did so despite a moratorium on funding these experiments. at which was started by a reporting system in which agency funding dangerous research was required and reported. so the nih funded this moratorium in a loophole under research continue if there was great in the public interest or if there was some national security -- and then falling when this reporting regime oppressed
11:15 pm
moratorium again they actually not report this research. so if we just don't know what was going on or why the nih behaved in this way. now it is very possible it teams to me that national security may have been at the bottom of it. because by funding this research at the leading chinese lab we have a window of kinds into perhaps what chinese military was doing. but it remains to be seen as more to come out here. jesse: would you that was kind of layers of espionage i don't know if we'll ever get to bottom of it. nicholas thank you this was an exhaustive article that every american should read. if they're interested at all about what and how we now find ourselves with three million human beings dead because of this. thank you. >> thanks jesse. jesse: cartel smugglers out foxing joe biden at the border. we discover their secrets in the
11:19 pm
11:20 pm
seizures of the extremely deadly drug fentanyl increased by a whopping 233% between march of this year and last. cartel expert jaeson jones returned from arizona border and how carte much product under biden's watch. all right so what's the strategy down there in the desert? >> well right now unfortunately you know cvp and local and other state law enforcement agencies are being overrun and data shows that we've got preliminary data coming in now that shows for the month of april, 177,000 people are going to be apprehended along the southwest border just in the 30-day period. but there's also another number we've gotten access to jesse which is that 42,000 were known to have gotten away from cvp officials. and i want to stress those are known meaning that a cvp official witness and individual getting through the border
11:21 pm
either a sensor pick them up or they have sign so we're at record nurls and the that i think really car concerns me weo to migrant care what agencies are forced to do more -- more fentanyl comes into this country than ever before. jesse: so they distract with baby-sitting so they have centers set up and biden is playing heed and seek with media there no crisis no kids and then they just stash about -- 1200 children in a building next door. so that's the cartel strategy, though, right? flood the zone with the kids and then sneak the narcotics around the other side. how do they go about not being detected in the desert because there's got to be, you know, more than sensors out there right we have to have a little manpower? >> we spent a week in arizona outside cast grandi and now toipght stress this is 70 miles from the border. so we have cartel operations

that deep having -- reoccurring in the united states, and i met with law enforcement and private citizens and what they do is sinaloa is pushing their scouts into the mountain where is they'll sit pup to two weeks at a time and communicate on two way radios back to what they call those in mexico so they can move their drugs into the united states. and it is really interesting they have what are known as debris fields, 7 miles into the country. where these operators with sinaloa are wearing camouflage hats backpack on chest and back and all across but they also cover their shoes. they cover their swhiews what is known as a carpet shoe and you're seeing one here that i got. and they wear these things and they'll move ten miles day into the united states every day for about 7 days straight. they get to one of these debris fields they drop all of their camouflage clothing, and then they get the drugs and they throw them into a waiting vehicle and off they go and this is happening back to back. >> show this 70 miles into the

country. let me see the shoe again when i used to play games in the yard and the woods with my buddies when i was a little kid i used to just put a bunch of mud on the bottom of my shoes so they couldn't hear me creeping up and breaking twigs and leaves and -- i mean, it looks like we're just getting out foxed they have radios they have tactical gear they have specialized footware. i don't know if joe biden is up to the job. i have to be honest thank you very much and i hope everyone pays attention with what's going on because fentanyl is a killer straight up. >> it is coming. it is coming it really is. >> it really is. we see it in the death toll. biden puppet masters a waters world investigation into biden's brain truck. who is really running the show? likes to avoid answering questions. maybe this is why. >> i'm sorry i'm going to just last question i'll take and -- i'm really going to be in trouble. >> probably wondering who would he get in trouble with and who are five people pulling strings? this according to politico, biden brain trust is dominating the decision making at the white houses. they have to approve everything -- biden doesn't make a lot of decisions. aids complain because every decision must go through his handlers even the smallest tire. decision making is incredibly slow biden governing in a bubble. almost nobody is allowed to see biden in oval except very small select group of people. number one, ron klain, white house chief of staff is at the top. he's obsessed with reducing any biden family scandal especially those involving hunter.
11:30 pm
so he has a lot on his plate. he's been working with biden for decades. he was chief counsel when biden led the senate jew judiciary committee and e ebola response coordinator under obama admitted obama administration did every possible thing wrong on the swine flu. klain is a lobbying king, his big tech connections from his lobbying days are endless. a major score for the biden administration. he was a part of the executive counsel of silicon valley's lobbying arm in washington. he's also lobbied for cnn's parent company alo time warner a venture capitalist, of course, until he came to the white house. dark money -- claims all over it and involved with groups like ther center for american progress to name a big one klain is a rank partisan. according to cnn, republicans were frustrated with klain
11:31 pm
during oval office meeting in february. where he was calling all of the shots not biden and shaking his head no every tim a republican senator even presented one idea. next up, steve pulling strings in biden's life for a long, long time. he also works in both the obama and the clinton administration very swampy. according to "new york times" sources he has overseen lots of biden's financial and personal decisions. in addition to his political ones, he was the one who made his 7 figure book deal happen. and his book tour that brought him over 15 million. he's biden's money man. also a well known lobbyist, of course -- [laughter] his own lobbying firm ranking in millions of dollars his clients were some of the top corporate companies in america at&t pfizer, general motors, blue
11:32 pm
cross/blue shield dow chemical just to name a few and has his hand in every major market. according to "the new york times" his connections to k street lobbying hub and clintons was a problem for get this -- obama. turns out several obama advisors tried to stop biden from hiring during the obama administration but biden fought back. why would biden want them so bad? well he's helped make big bucks for biden and his well connected to corporate america. then there's mike donilon biden senior advisor, he also worked in the obama administration serving as top aid for mvp biden dating all the way back to '81 when biden was a senator. knows him well. doll linn nickname whisperer known as being a message guru just before biden took office, "the new york times" wrote, president elect joseph r. biden jr. is delivering message of
11:33 pm
corporation and conciliation as he prepares to move into the white house. it is mike donilon's message. donilon probably loses his mind when biden veers from the script that he wrote for him. before coming to the white house, donilon was managing partner of mcdc strategies a media consulting firm where he made over $4 million two of the big clients the democrat national convention committee, and the biden campaign. [laughter] donilon a bit of a -- wait and see about that. biden chief of staff bruce reid worked in the clinton presidency counsel and chief domestic policy advisor. he worked very closely with biden the pass the '94 crime bill and also worked in obama administration, of course, as chief of staff to then vp biden. reid used to be the president of the broad foundation focusing on education --
11:34 pm
no surprise here -- the broad foundation individual donations have suede far left over 90% of them coming from the broads themselves. they donated thousands to biden in 2020 they donated over a million in march 2020 to the lcv victory fund created to help elect environmental champions and handle climate change. and the lcv victory fund spent millions in our last election to run ad slamming trump and promoting biden. they've also donated hundreds of thousands to dnc services. could explain maybe the hold up in reopening school pps then there's steph feldman biden long time aid turn climate champion to staple of biden's circle feldman biden policy giew row and a huge ideolog. according to en "e! news" feldman is behind the two trillion dollar plan for climate change in clean energy jobs.
11:35 pm
they credit her with killing keystone she said biden was so proud to stop it. feldman goal she says is to create clean energy plants but over 100 days into done is puppet master joe and to killing thousands of good union jobs. now outside of those five there's also suzanne rice head of the white house domestic policy counsel and the obama connection. many believe rice is controlled by the obamas and is working their agenda from within the biden white house. so next time bide biden says he might get into trouble there's key people running joe show and it is unclear if biden is one of them. next a rash of hate crimes racial attacks the media is hiding from america. gruesome -- why?
11:40 pm
jesse: the media is all about power. if they can't exploit a story, they'll just totally ignore it. the racial attacks were about to show you are barely being covered by the mainstream media. why? because they were committed by african-american that doesn't fit their narrative. two asian women attacked with a cement brick -- as they were closing their liquor store in baltimore one needed 25 stitches on her head. darrell doles is charged with two kowngts of aggravated assault. a horrifying hammer attack in new york city. asian woman hit in the head after refusing to take off her mask when confronted by a stranger. east harlem asian man walking down the street minding his own

business was stomped on and left in a coma. jared powell is now charged with a hate crime for that assault. and synagogues destroyed in the bronx, four different ones vaunt liesed during an 11-day crime spree windows and doors shattered and prayer books ruined. jordan facing hate crime charges but set free without bail, of course. why didn't media slash these attacks all over their shows? like they do with other cases? i think we know black republican senator tim scott attacked for saying america is not a racist country. gary o'connor lamar county democratic party chair who was white posted on facebook i would hope that scott might show some common sense but it seems clear he's a little more than an oreo with no real principle. where's the media coverage on that?
11:42 pm
msnbc host tiffany cross took it a step further. >> the soul black republican in the senate founded a fool lucky from mcconnell with his own tap dancer to try to reorient view of america for him there are two sides to other token. so thirst yir white approval please senator say more about how unracist country is why you try to out that tired line about going from cotton to congress to clown. joining me now conservative commentator author phil maker and host of dinesh podcast so dinesh is looks like to me that mainstream media in the beginning when there were a few i guess white attacks on asian americans remember that shooting spree at the massage parollers that got blown up and we heard for weeks about the rise in hate crime attacks against asians. but then if you look further a lot of these attacks are committed by african-americans. and then media just dropped it
11:43 pm
and that -- leads me to wonder are they covering for black american community because there's some sort of bargain if they kind of sweep these things under the rug they'll continue to vote democrat? >> i don't think it is that -- i think that what is going on here is that the left has a narrative that they are try to fit the fact into the narrative. they don't develop the narrative in response to fact. so even if you start with the -- with the massage paroller shooting in atlanta they discovered very quickly that this was really not racially motivated he had a accident is problem with a problem with massage parlor so disproportionately harm asian americans but not exclusionive will you now truth of it is there are a lot of assaults in country going on against asian americans.
11:44 pm
i think for one reason alone. asian americans are far in a way most successful minority in the country. now, remarkably they're successful not because they've been disdiscriminating against anybody outperforming everybody. this is true on every measure of academic performance and also true on every measure of economic success. if you made a list of ethnic groups in country asian indians on top and then it is chinese minnesotas and japanese americans, and down the list you go, whites are really down towards the middle. so right away that simple fact blows out of the water this nonsense about white privilege whites can't be asked to give up their privilege because they don't have any and you can't start talking about asian american privilege there's no privilege they have earnedder that success a lot of black attacks on asian americans are explained by simple fact. members of the least successful ethnic group in country are attacking members of the most successful ethnic group in krkt and obvious explanation is envy.
11:45 pm
people at the bottom envy people at the top and they'll particularly angry because these people at the top are coming into inner cities they're being successful moving out to suburban neighborhoods they're buying nice houses their kids are doing quell in schools so it is like these unsuccessful people are like what the heck so they take out their anger their frustration, their resentment on these asian americans, and, of course, the left which knows that this is what is going on comes and goes it is really white supremacy. don't believe your lying eyes it is really white sprim city route cause that's favorite phrase route cause of all of these problems. jesse: you're saying socioeconomic factor that asian americans are setting up shop and black communities in the inner cities they've been successful from a financial stand point and you're saying perhaps the less successful african-americans are angry and jealous at that success and are -- taking it out on innocent
