while the republican party has what is a new opportunity to change this trajectory for future generations. it's important. right now in the minority, the gop must fight tooth and nail. the first job is to stop the democrats huge massive, unprecedented power grab. court packing can't happen. ending the legislative filibuster must never happen. statehood puerto rico can't happen and hr1 has to be stopped. the unconstitutional legislation would give democrats control of all elections and outlaw any kind of voter i.d. at all. they don't want any. if any of these measures pass, there will be no more republican party. do you understand? no more opposition at least as

businesses and restaurants and sporting events can open up again. they need to end the unemployment benefits that are disinventiveizing workers and lower taxes for every american and communicate daily. the republican party must articulate it's make america great again. this has to be about we the american people. your sacred rights, god given rights. freedom is sacred. it's rare and sacred. so is our safety and security. the message is simple. the republican party must stand united to secure borders. for energy independence, lower taxes. less burdensome regulation and

free market solutions to healthcare. every child should have an opportunity to go to a school that actually works. choice in school. free and fair trade. law and order. peace through strength. every town and every american can't pursue happiness if they don't have safety and security where they live. what republicans can't do is follow joe biden's lead and appease hostile regimes like iran that are attacking our greatest ally and sewing unrest throughout the world. russia hacked our pipeline. we can't apiece china. this unholy alliance with china and russia to provide arms to iran, that has to stop. at home law and order must be

restored in every town and city. the gop must advocate for a well funded police department in every town, city, every county. no more rioting. no more arson. the integrity of our election visit to be a top priority. americans must have the ability to trust the process and have confidence in the results with free and fair elections. that means that every state legislature needs to be pressured to have voter i.d. and signature verification. we need to watch chain of custody to keep integrity in the ballots counting process. you should have observers from the democratic and republican parties to make sure nobody has

any opportunity to tamper with ballots. also, every election year, you should have updated voter rolls. it should happen every year. this has to happen. it's simple. if the republican party promotes that agenda of freedom, law and order and security, and they take back the house and senate in 2022, they will stop this big power grab right in its tracks and hopefully we will starting talking about the white house in 2024. it needs to start with congress. it needs to start with state legislatures. joining us now with more republican whip steve scalise, kevin mccarthy and the newest leader of the republicans in the house stefanik. i don't care about liz cheney. she decided she knew better than the rest of the caucus.

i will give you, kevin mccarthy, your thoughts on why it was that the entire caucus wanted her out. >> well, remember, we serve at the pleasure of the conference. what the conference was looking for is what you talked about. how do we secure the border? stop the socialism? save our nation? this is not where we were 18 months ago. this was back during the jimmy carter time. let's look forward. i am excited about stefanik coming into the leadership team. joe biden is not just ignoring the problems, he is igniting them. this inflation that hit us we have not seen in 2 decades. that's a tax increase on every miracle. -- american. that's what our agenda is. we will fight on the floor to

stop the agenda that pelosi and the socialists are trying to bring forward. >> sean: we could take out a betting line on raising ethical challenges of her father as it relates to her work with haliburton. those are the people now praising her. congresswoman, the acu had you at a lower conservative rating than liz cheney. the agenda to make america great agenda, do you disagree with any of the items i think republicans should focus on? >> i agree with all of the items you laid out. voters across the country agree. we are experiencing multiple crises under president biden and

speaker pelosi. republicans will fight on behalf of the american families who are concerned about the radical direction this administration is taking us. i am a strong conservative republican that will work to unite our republican conference and stand up for the american people. >> sean: steve scalise, i watched what is happening. i am very concerned. we saw this hack on america's energy sector. we know ransom was paid. we see inflation the highest in 12 years. 4.2%. we have 10 million jobs available. americans getting paid more money from the government to stay home. how do we get out of this mess? we have to help israel.

>> that's why it's so important to have a united front and stand up against this radical agenda. joe biden's failure of leadership is on full display and hurting american families. he cancelled the pipeline killing thousands of jobs. in the southeast the atlantic seaboard they are waiting in lines to get gasoline and paying $6 a gallon. joe biden emboldened opec and allowed russia to brick oil into the united states. we produced our own under president trump. what is going on in israel is a clear example this president is being tested and failed to rise to the occasion. you have to stand with our allies. israel has a right to defend themselves. you have leaders in congress criticizing israel. he is not standing up to them.

he is killing jobs want inflation through the roof. look at the lumber prices. anything at the store is up and joe biden is paying people not to work when small businesses can't run their businesses. you wait months to get an appliance. joe biden's leadership is absent when we need it. >> sean: kevin mccarthy, your hands are tied more than mitch mcconnell. it's a 50-50 split. the legislative filibuster if they want to remove it, they would need one republican to make that happen. the republicans if they stay united they don't have to provide a quorum. you are only 5 seats away from a majority.

>> only 5 seats away but that's true. if you are worried about the filibuster, change the house. in the republicans control the house you will never worry about the filibuster. hr 1 won't get there i was in the oval office this week with the president and other leaders. i asked if we would pay for the ransom ware. i asked him about the border. he said he inherited a worse problem which is not true. >> sean: did you tell him that? >> yes. i told him my biggest fear is inflation. he has trillion dollars from government. every economist will tell you what he is doing is wrong. he is rewarding people for staying home. i said go see the small businesses i talk to and understand the problem of what is happening.

donald trump and joe biden what is the difference? >> this is the first time i have seen joe biden as president. he was with it. he was engaging and giving me numbers and talking. but at no time having known joe biden for sometime does he have the energy of donald trump. donald trump doesn't need to sleep 5 hours and he would be engaged. if you called donald trump he would bring other people down. in the first week he had a bipartisan meeting inside the white house. this was the first time they had any bipartisan meeting. think of the crises that are happening. they are igniting them. >> sean: congresswoman, in this new position what is the most important role you will play knowing that you have a few people out there that didn't

want you if that position? you had a challenge from chip roy. how do you ally the fears of people who don't know where you stand on issues? >> well, i represent a district that voted for president obama twice and voted for president trump. it tells the story of the republican party. we have grown this party among working class americans. people 2 work hard every day and know that the radical agenda of the social democrats is take us in the long direction. the role of the conference chair is to share our unified conservative message. exposing these crises that american people are suffering from. the border and economic crisis and the national security crisis in the middle east. we are focussed on reopening our economy. reopening our schools and fighting for the hard working american people left behind by president biden and speaker

pelosi. it is telling that president biden spends more time in the white house than across america. when i visit small businesses in my district, they have jobs available but can't hire people to fill those jobs because the democrats want an incentive not to work. we want to get people back to work and back to school. this agenda works across america in new york, texas, louisiana, or comfortable. >> sean: steve scalise, a little off topic. i think is important. i noticed this week that the fbi director did not declare the shooting in the ballfield where you nearly lost your life, and that's a fact, won't say it's an act of domestic terrorism but there are efforts to classify these groups as domestic terrorists. what is your reaction?

>> my college raise thursday with the new fbi director. and he acknowledged this is something he wants to look into. mccabe was the director when they came by with the classification of suicide by cop. we have a chance of getting this changed. get the classification right. the two police officers were both shot and they were plain clothed officers. he tried to kill them. we asked who was behind this decision and why did they make that originals classification of suicide by cop. >> sean: america needs an opposition party. when we come back, covid causing

everyone is vaccinated. it's none of her business. i believe if medical privacy. i thought, nancy, you democrats say the government has no right to tell people what they can and cannot do with their bodies and the right to privacy. medical privacy. bill mayer is feeling fine after testing positive after being vaccinated and 8 new york yankees team members tested positive despite being fully vaccinated. the u.s. average fewer than 40,000 cases last week. tammy bruce and a doctor is with us. doctor, we will start with you.

i looked at the cdc numbers. it's almost 9300 vaccinated people confirmed that got the virus after the vaccination. of that number, 132 people have died. what do you make of that? what do you say to the vaccine hesitant groups that are out there? >> are, our battle is not against positivity in asymptomatic people. our battle is against hospitalizations. we need to put things in perspective. you don't want to segregate

populations. it's better to mix them in with a high rate of population immunity. >> sean: i am trying to understand andrew cuomo and nancy pelosi. tammy, you know the left well. you were the president for the national organization of women in california. >> don't remind me. >> sean: we know. sorry about that. the argument was government doesn't have any right to tell a woman what they can and can't do with their body. the right to privacy among liberals was sacrosanct. what about the right to choose? >> that's why the lies and the theater from the left today is not new. they have always done that. it's about in manipulating people.

but it's a fraud. people are attracted to it because they think personal privacy is important. yet what they find on the left it's the opposite. it's the conservative ideal. that's why the left demonizes the right. that's where the average america wants to be with the issue of privacy. this was key in the last election. how many americans came out to vote. 75 million for trump. they remembered the american ideal and what it felt like. this is a good example. even in deep blue new york what cuomo is doing, this high handed control of segregating, and it's racist. we have a history of a nation we

the fact that the federal reserve kept interest rates at rock bottom levels. president trump put in a tax cuts plan and this moved the needle on economic growth. we have expectations for the economy in 2021. a growth of 9%. all president biden needed to do was not mess that up. get out of the way. instead he is throwing a lot of money at the economy. creating inflation and you are seeing because of this lockdown that continues to persist, people don't want to go to work. 16 states have said we don't want this $300 additional unemployment benefits. we need to start normalizing. i am looking at all of these policies and i am having a really hard time finding any policy out of this administration that has been good for the american people. look at the border. look at the amount of narcotics

coming across the border and the 100,000 plus got aways. we don't know who they are. the pipeline. which was the last time you expected to see gas lines? look at washington, d.c. more than 60% of gas stations out of gas last night. things will come back because of a ransom that was paid. you have have the pipeline and the border and the u.s. talking about getting back into the iran deal. no wonder we are seeing rockets fly towards israel again. president trump handed the biden administration peace in the middle east. it's extraordinary what occurred if just 114 days so far. >> sean: that's an amazing summary. the price of energy alone. let's look at that.
