[♪♪♪] jesse: welcome to "watters' world." there is blood in the water. that's the subject of tonight's watters word. biden is politically wounded 100 days in. the results of the decisions have begun to hurt the country. the summer will be a mess. biden kneecapped the recovery.

8:04 pm
raise rates to slow things down, and that will move the market lower and impact your 401k. inflation is like a hidden tax own america and the tax man cometh. the biggest hidden tax, gas prices. prices have gone up 50 cents nationally. some of this is natural as travel and demand pick up after covid. but biden's war on gas, killing key stone pipeline and telling the energy companies they will be out of business in 30 years when he gets rid of fossil fuels. that forces companies to raise pricings. but hovering around $3 a gallon already last week. that's when the russians hacked the colonial pipeline. the southeast, mid-atlantic got rocked.
8:05 pm
stations ran out of fuel. 17 states declared a state of emergency. prices went sky high in the region, total mess. the national average hit $3 a gallon, the highest since 2014. the last time biden was in the white house. biden's secretary of energy said this about the fuel shortage. >> we obviously are all in on making sure we meet the president's goals of getting to 100% clean electricity by 2035 and net zero carbon emissions by 2050. if you drive an electric car, this would not be affecting you, clearly. jesse: what a fool. it's like the politicians saying during a heat wave. if everyone had a pool, pools wouldn't be affecting you.
8:06 pm
except pools -- are cheaper than electric cars. summer driving season starts memorial day weekend. what is your boss biden going to do about the gas prices going higher? biden has no plans. so you need to plan on paying an extra $20 when you fill up. it's probably going to $3.50 a gallon. ing russian gangsters inside russia hacked the pipeline with russian computers. nothing in russia happens without the approval of putin and the kremlin. but biden says russia isn't involved. >> so far there is no evidence based from our intelligence people that russia is involved. although there is evidence that
8:07 pm
the ransome ware is in russia. jesse: are you saying putin has nothing to do with russians hack our pipe line. >> i'm confident i read the report accurately. they say he was not, the government was not. jesse: let me see if i have this correct. the fbi just cleared putin? russian organized crime from inside russia knocked our pipeline out and in less than a week the fbi determined the kremlin was clean. the same fbi that accuses everyone of being a russian agent? and in a week closed the books on the pipeline act? something is not adding up here. the russians hacked hillary's campaign manager and the russians kicked every american
8:08 pm
diplomat out of the country and launched a two-year witch hunt over some embarrassing emails. not you russians launched the biggest cyber attacks in history affecting millions of americans, but not hillary? and they paid the hackers $5mil in ransom? >> were you briefed that something [inaudible] >> no comments on that. thank you. jesse: this is a huge story. but the biggest worry for you is that biden blinked. we paid ransome money to terrorists. bad precedence. electric companies, water treatment.
8:09 pm
everything is a target. if you operated any industry that could be a target, harden your defense. we are in a cyber war. a hot war is break out between the israelis and hamas. biden lifted the freeze on iranian aid. then they because rockets from the russians and sold them to hamas to shoot at israel just as biden was work to get the ayatollah back into the nuke deal. see what's going on here? biden getting manipulated and policing borders again in the middle east when he needs to police our own borders. but how is it going down there? >> we continue to convey the message senate our border is not open. >> we have now gotten control. >> the border is closed.
8:10 pm
jesse: the border is the big lie. we don't have one. fresh numbers just released. they will make you crazy. biden is shattering records down there. look at the chart snowing border crossing in green. the last two months in a row biden hits a 20-year high for illegal immigration. those are the ones we are catching. a lot are getting through. the ones we do catch of the 180,000, biden led nearly half. two straight months of all-time highs. everybody wants to focus on the minors. that's fine, i get it. but it's a distraction from the real deal. the vast majority of illegals crossing are single men. but let's remember everyone who
8:11 pm
who -- who crosses is controlled by the cartel. once they are here they work off cartel debt. what they do isn't pretty. crime goes up. if you are in a border state contact your congressman and vote like your life depended on it because it does. >> liz cheney. >> liz cheney. >> liz cheney. >> this has been exhaustively covered. the number three republican leader in congress, liz cheney was broughtr voted out of -- was voted out of that leadership job. jesse: it's just filler so we don't have to look at how badly biden mismanaged the honeymoon. masks off on thursday were perfect timing, weren't they? economic tremors are happening.
8:12 pm
the economy could be teetering. labor shortages and illegal immigration are setting us back. the cost of living is increasing. gas prices are going up, and biden is being tested internationally and he's failing. he's creating problems instead of solving them so we are in for a rough summer. crime will continue to go up in major cities. protect yourself and your families. budget for what you need, and plan for a little pain. this is looking like a rocky recovery. joining me, former speaker of the house and fox news contributor, newt gingrich. i couldn't believe we got into this much trouble so fast. do you think joe biden has the tools in the tool kit to recognize the problems and fix them? >> no, if you ask it that way.
8:13 pm
i think that biden has very limited capacity to understand and decide and articulate. just watch him. but he's also trapped because the left on almost every one of these issues sees the world in a way that doesn't work. it's as though somebody came rushing in and said i have got a great new idea for making hot coffee. we'll put it in the freezer. you can figure out pretty soon it won't work. we know the lib wrals failed and giuliani succeeded. when new york has a 200% increase in one year is drop everything that giuliani did that worked. what did they think was going to happen? i think the pipeline problem is a much deeper problem in that we
8:14 pm
just paid $5 million to a criminal organization to recruit more people to rob more places and the hacking is really a threat to our entire civilization because of the degree to which we all rely on things that are more effective. atm machines are greats. what happens if the chinese close them down. what if a russian hacking group closes off the gas pumps. there is no evidence that anybody in the federal government has any real appreciation. we have done little fixes and bandages. this is a much keeper crisis. great hackers don't work for bureaucracies. we have to rethink you are entire approach to the hacking question. this feels more like jimmy carter than i would have thought
8:15 pm
possible. i think maybe it was the gas lines that was the final break through. you are getting stagflation. that's when you have stagnant jobs and inflation at the same time. reagan put that together into a any are you index. and the unlying inflation numbers are stunning. at a minimum, the highest since 1982. you said something important that i want to build on. inflation is a hidden tax. the real biden tax is this inflation. it's making he american poorer. you are 4% poorer than you were a year ago because the dollar doesn't bias much. when biden says says he's only
8:16 pm
going to tax people over $400,000 income. go down the list of everything you pay for because it's all being inflated. one last thing. the idiots who think that electric vehicles are a solution to the cost of fuel, forgets at the other end of the line you have to make the electricity. so you are either going to use coal which china is double down on and building more coal plants, you will go news nuclear, solar, wind, you are going to use something. but it'sr's not like tesla emerges from heaven and angels drive it around for you. you have to pay the founder of tesla and you have to pay for the electricity every single day. i think you have to wonder, you know did the brains just dwrip
