nature of the holiday. one of them said or asked what the rest of the world would say if israel had fired a rocket at a mosque. what is striking to me as someone who is an outside observer but spent some time here is how incredibly resilient people are coming right back to their place of worship, having cleaned it up having had a really close call. nobody was killed or even injured in this strike. people here are just used to this sort of thing. in southern israel we heard the sirens go off this morning while we were on the air and quickly got to the shelter that is in this synagogue. so far 3,000 hamas rockets have been fired towards israel in the last week. idf says this is the highest concentration they have seen of hamas rockets ever. again, they were lucky in the synagogue yesterday the rocket hit first in the rabbi's bedroom in an adjacent house. now, the idf is israeli defense force in gaza not going just

republicans in congress have been asking joe biden to take a firm stance on israel but joe biden is reluctant to. he has the white house has announced he has spoken on saturday to both sides. but, for the most part, he has been quiet. really not taken a side. and most of congress has been silent on the fighting. you know, usually by this point in a conflict, there would be a bipartisan resolution passed in the congress talking about cease-fire. there has been -- the committees haven't even talked about something that would have been automatic. this morning, in the "wall street journal," there is a headline, if you pick it up, digitally, the headline is democratic divide over israel puts pressure on biden. and one of the quotes we selected for you this morning goes on to say the administration so far has taken a cautious approach publicly as several progressives have reinforced their calls for conditioning aid to israel and
3:11 am
criticized mr. biden for saying that israel had a right to defend itself. that is a stance that american presidents have had for decades. israel has a right to defend themselves. you go back through history, back to the 40s, every american president has said that. brian: you also look at the fact that barack obama was also the most anti-israel president in my lifetime. he went out of his way, in fact, he stopped even defending israel in the united nations and people were wondering if joe biden he was going to pick up that mantel. so far not nearly as bad. think about this. what he wants is to negotiate with iran. what iran wants is to support hamas. and if you come out and condemn hamas and you go aggressive that way it will blow up what's happening in vienna. they quickly cut off aid in saudi arabia because was bombing in yemen. the houthi rebels control yemen and houthi rebels.

3:14 am
can ask an employee if they have had the shot, but then the employer gets into trouble if they say well, why haven't you had the shot? any sort of vaccine hesitancy would be kind of a legal gray area for the corporation because some people base that on health and some base it on religion. brian: bottom line is, it doesn't matter. the minute our country was able to give anyone who wanted a rack seen a vaccine and the numbers have gone down precipitously especially in the places hit the hardest california and new york. it's game over. because if the vaccine it is as effective as proven to be you make your own decision. if you walk around without a mask and get sick it's your decision. if you got vaccinated and got a vaccine all the data, you love that word, says it is very effective. that doesn't matter. it's called freedom. why people are so reluctant to embrace freedom. i wanted a warning. i wanted a warning that you are now -- the a warning if you are
