"fox news primetime" hosted by will cain starts in 15 seconds. i'm giving you a little bank here because i know you have a great show. >> will: i love to use this time to ask you do i have to purchase that wonderful book by bret baier or will one nap my office. >> bret: one is come your way. >> will: so excited the perks of this job. good evening, and welcome to "fox news primetime." ♪ ♪ >> will: i am will cain and, tonight, i'm going to introduce you to the most dangerous man in america, one mans who lie burned down city, deceptions set white against black and who gets rich while people lay dead in the riots, his lies have spawned. now, today, if you are only aware of the andrew brown story through the media accounts, you are probably going to be surprised by the district attorney's announcement that police were justified in the tragic shooting of andrew brown. i mean, you're not surprised
4:01 pm
that resisting arrest can lead to a violent encounter and you are not surprised that a car can be used as a deadly weapon which is what the d.a. announced today in his press conference. you are also not surprised that an officer involved shooting, again, while tragic can be justified. but what you were told leading up to this investigation through the media by andrew brown's family's attorneys was that brown was executed. >> execution. people were questioning. well, what about this? what about that? it was an execution. it was assassination of this unarmed black man that is painful. and we are tired. >> will: assassination, an execution. that's the kind of inflammatory language that's the kind of lie that burns down cities. but, look, you have become familiar with this story. lies create reality, facts can never catch up. they can never convince the mob. it's a cycle. first to lie, controls the narrative. fastest to lie controls the
4:02 pm
story. why and how does that keep happening? i'm going to come back to that in just a moment and explain to you how this cycle starts. it starts as i said with one man. but, before we get to the lies, let's talk again about the facts, it's important. not many people care or invest time in understanding the facts behind these incidences and today we learned the facts behind the andrew brown shooting. chief breaking news correspondent trace gallagher has the latest from our west coast newsroom. hey, trace. >> hey, will, good evening. >> the shooting of andrew brown was caught on six dash cam and body cam videos. they were shown the videos on may 11th. they had said they were sitting in his car miss driveway and then he tried to flee adding quoting here at no point did we see mr. brown pose a threat to the law enforcement officers. the family went on to call it, quote, unconstitutional and not justifiable saying it was akin to an execution. but, today, the county d.a.
4:03 pm
played the videos during a news conference and they clearly show that deputies did not fire their guns until mr. brown tried to flee. the day says when brown backed up his car, he hit one deputy and then pulled forward toward two other deputies. watch. >> about brown's death while tragic, was justified because mr. brown's actions caused three deputies with the sheriff's office to reasonably believe it was necessary to use deadly force to protect themselves and others. >> a circuit judge has ruled for now the body and dash cam videos cannot be released to the public and we should note it was originally reported that andrew brown was shot five times. he was shot twice, once in the shoulder and once in the back of his neck. though he did have wounds from shrapnel and other bullet fragments, will. >> will: all right, trace, thank you so much for those facts. a sheriff tommy jr. is the sheriff who stood up today. he stood up for his deputies and
4:04 pm
right now he joins us. sheriff, thank you so much for being with he. you know what they will say, they have already said this that this was an execution. they will point to the fact that andrew brown was shot in the back of his head and that using his car to drive away was not a threat to your deputies. what do you say to that? >> >> oh, yes, i have heard that with the reviews and in the media and from the attorneys i have heard that same thing. execution assassination they are all inflammatory words, no doubt about that. as you can see in the video that was released today by district attorney womble shed a lot more light on this situation. the car did go in reverse at quick acceleration, striking the deputy, causing him to lean over on the vehicle and then drove forward striking the deputy again, him having to push off with his left hand while turning the wheel and heading toward a third deputy. and all this went on, you know,
4:05 pm
inside of four seconds. and by andrew brown jr. using his vehicle as a deadly weapon, it forced the deputies to have to resort to deadly force, to protect themselves and their fellow officers. >> will: sheriff, we watched very recently again a tragic incident in brooklyn center, minnesota where an officer used her service weapon in an attempt to use a taser. it led to a bad outcome. obviously there in the daunte wright case. when that happened, sheriff, the sheriff stood up in that county in the days following he had to resign under the pressure of a mob that said you are standing up for something wong not just that but the city manager in brooklyn center we will adhere to a due process. he was relieved of his duty. here you are today standing up with your deputies, do you expect that your job is safe going forward? >> i do. i feel like my job is safe.
4:06 pm
you know, i was elected by the people of this county to perform the duties every day that i do and i intend on and continuing doing just that. >> will: all right, sheriff. i appreciate your time tonight. thank you so much. all right, you just heard the facts. you heard the sheriff, unrealistic about the facts inability to convince the mob of conclusions they already want to believe. whoever lies first, lies fastest, lies the most, well, they own the story. they own reality. again, it keeps happening over and over. because attorneys like chantelle sherri lassiter have learned from the very best. lassiter is the attorney you heard describing the situation as an assassination and an execution. but right there next to her on that podium on that legal team last month is the master of deception the one who has set the standard for these attorneys. the one whose lies have become to be chanted in the streets of america and the one who has gotten rich off of these lies. ben crump. ben crump is the most dangerous
4:07 pm
man in america. chances are you are familiar with his name. you've seen him at a microphone after almost every race related are a ahmad arbery, george floyd you have heard his lies on michael brown, breonna taylor and makia taylor. what you don't know is crump might be the most destructive force in america. take a look at his greatest hits and let's start with trayvon martin. which was one of trump's first high profile cases in that case he painted martin as a hoodie wearing key carrying, skittle carrying innocent and he also accused sanford police department of conspiring with george zimmerman after trayvon martin's death. listen to this. >> this is smoking gun. this clearly showed that that police report was a fabrication. it's obvious to us that there was something that night that they conspired to cover this up,
4:08 pm
to cover up the death of trayvon martin. >> will: now, of course, zimmerman was cleared in a court of law and there is absolutely zero proof that the sanford ph.d. ever conspired with zimmerman. next perhaps ben crump's biggest lie hands up, don't shoot. you had remember that phrase started with michael brown and ben crump. 2014 he said michael brown was killed after holding his hands up and asking police not to shoot. that was a lie proven by president barack obama's department of justice as head up by eric holder. a lie that destroyed half the bizs in ferguson, missouri and cost $22 million in damages. and then in 2020 ben crump really got cooking he told the world when police came to breonna taylor's house it was the wrong address and the real suspect was already in custody. of course, that wasn't true, either. louisville pd went to the right apartment and the other suspect
4:09 pm
was not already in custody. another lie, one that this time contributed to the idea that taylor was murdered in her bed that lie led to $7 million in damages and this time a death in the ensuing riots. also in 2020, crump said, falsely, that george floyd and derek chauvin knew each other from a nice club continuing a conspiracy. also of course a fly. floyd and chauvin both worked at the same bar but did not know each other and certainly didn't have problems. the so-called witness recanted the statement that said that they knew each other and led to this idea that was a conspiracy. by the way, the bar they worked at, it was burned to the ground during the riots. what about jacob blake, the kenosha man shot by police as was reaching for a knife his car, this time crump told the world that jacob blake was unarmed and that he was there getting into his car apparently after breaking up a fight between two women. that was also a lie. there was no fight between two
4:10 pm
women. jacob blake was not playing the role of peace keeper, he was at the home of a woman who accused him of a sexual assault and trespassing. and she is the one that called the police. then there is makia bryant, trump tweeted that the columbus police killed a, quote, unarmed 15-year-old black girl. now, look at this video and tell me makia bryant was unarmed. you can see in all of the videos as we all have seen our eyes are not lying she is holding a knife and attempting to plunge it into the chest of another young black woman. that's another lie. swept under the rug, memory hold by complicit media. how about daunte wright? remember him? he was tragically shot by a brooklyn center police officer who misclaims she mistook her service weapon for a taser. once again, crump was on the scene. spreading lies and disinformation on twitter. he called with no evidence and no ability to know this the shooting intentional.
4:11 pm
he said this case had yet to be adjudicated but watch the video. look, anyone can see from a mile away how could you make that mistake if do you watch the video you hear the officers yelling taser before firing her service weapon and her reaction, her total shock afterwards. it's hard to believe it was intentional although neither i or trump know the truth yet. we do know the truth of tally of crump's lies what they attribute to. more than $1 billion in property damage in riots, that's just through september of 2020. it's also led to over 30 deaths in the ensuing riots. not to mention setting race relations on a knife's edge. perhaps the tensest it's been in 50 years. on the other side of this tally while this destruction continues around the country, ben crump, well, he is getting rich. what we know from these cases is that he settled for more than $40 million in settlements at a 40% contingency fee or maybe if
4:12 pm
he is generous 33%, one third contingency fee, is he making somewhere around 15, $16 million off of these cases, profits for ben crump's lies. look, everyone wants justice to be served. everyone wants justice to be blind. we want people to make it home or to jail for that matter. safely. we want black and white to be treated equally in this country but we cannot heal, we cannot save race relations we cannot accomplish equality and we can't serve justice off of lies. by the way, the protest in elizabeth city, north carolina, in the wake of andrew brown's death, the crowd there they chanted one of ben crump's lies. 4:14 pm

4:16 pm
long time law partner and for that i appreciate you being on the program. >> best friend. >> will: i appreciate you coming on and voicing this opinion on the program tonight with me. as i went through tonight one after another, darryl, for example, ben crump calling jacob blake unarmed. ben crump calling makia bryant unarmed. these are blatant lies that we know the truth behind. why can we allow this to happen? >> let me say, this first of all, when you -- you are taking it totally out of context. taking four different cases putting snippets out there and say that these are lies, i disagree with that. >> will: the fact are proven, for example, darryl, we know from president obama's justice department that michael brown did not say hands up, don't shoot. that did not happen? ben crump claimed it did. >> well, let me say this i was involved in the michael brown case with ben. participated in the autopsy and the complete investigation in ferguson and without question, again, another unarmed person. at some point, will, all americans, black, white, red or brown have to realize that if a
4:17 pm
person is not armed at what point do we take their life? the ultimate price? even michael brown should not have paid the ultimate price. >> will: darryl, the point is the lies have led to a story that is not true. and that story has left cities burning and people dying in the wake. i want to ask you about one more because here's the accusation that ben crump is telling lies that is causing damage and he is doing it for personal gain. i want to ask you you about that kia crawford, it was a case not many people heard about last year. she, at the beginning, it was told was killed by a white man, then crump came in and helped represent the family and until the facts came back that that kia crawford was not killed by a white man that she was in fact killed by a plaquemines black man. her father says ben crump lost total crump in that case. calling him a fraud. the minute it didn't fit the narrative and the minute the story was clearly false ben crump ran away, darryl. >> well, here is what i would say to you. i want you to be as outraged
