just yesterday police provided an update saying they searched a new area not far from my's home and found new tips and i understand they received a ton of tips, some of the tips they say, sightings in arizona and new mexico. i also understand you and the family have now formed a better relationship with police. tell me from your perspective where you are and how the family is feeling? >> the family's optimistic. we appreciate the police department has reached out and is working on forming a better relationship with the family. we are optimistic the investigation is moving forward in the right way. the relationship is healed. we are optimistic that this investigation will be wrapped up in the near future. i don't know exactly what that means, a few weeks maybe. >> i know this family has been longing for answers and we have technical difficulty trying to get meyer's sister on the other

end. it has been an emotional hold on this family for four months, how are they feeling with each day passing? >> it has been an emotional and financial toll on the family. they are loving family. you see that. they are forgiving family but they want to find their sister and know what happened and so appreciative of the police department reaching out to the family and working to build a better relationship and also appreciative they reached out to federal agencies and other local agencies. the investigations, headed in a good direction. it is not as fast as we would like but is no way to make the family feel better about something like this but we are very optimistic. >> let's bring in my's sister.

we have your connection up, and we go. how are you feeling? it has been more than four months. i know you want answers but i am starting to see a shift in tone from your family, perhaps some optimism you might get the answers you are looking for? >> we are hoping so. we don't have a timeline, they didn't give us a timeline, but what happened with the police department it was a meeting with them, we had a good communication at this meeting and it opened the lines of communication with them. we are happy to know the investigation is moving forward

and hopefully get good partnerships with the police department. >> we can pull up the information, there have been 75 tips that have come in that have been reviewed, 59 interviews, 31 search warrant executed so i know they've been doing a lot of work. when i was out there a few weeks ago we also saw all the search teams that have come together separate from the police, you've been out there doing work, people you didn't even know prior to this awful situation coming to light are you still doing that? are you still searching on your own? >> absolutely. at this time, the area to search, hoping we have a better partnership and give us direction for the search but we are still doing our own searches but we have to keep going until we find my sister. >> are you optimistic that your sister is alive, that she's out
