never get to the question of homeownership therefore wealth. to be fair the white house has not ruled out student debt forgiveness programs saying they are still taking a look at it. todd: that is a controversial idea. griff jenkins, thanks. jillian: a 14-year-old girl armed with a shotgun and a 12-year-old boy armed with an ak-47 opened fire on deputies in florida. authorities a the two kids ran away from their foster home and broke into a house in enterprise, florida. the deputies arrived, from the house they were robbing and started to shoot out. >> they want to defund us, they want to sanction us and take qualified immunity way. they want to make us the bad guy. where have we gone wrong? that 12-year-old and 14-year-old think it is okay to take on law enforcement.

jillian: the 14-year-old was shot multiple times and is in critical condition at the hospital, the 12-year-old was not injured, neither were deputies. body camera video footage will be released today. todd: a fire for tickling a coworker at the los angeles county fire station. the suspect fled to a nearby home, barricaded himself inside and set the house on fire. he was later found dead with a gunshot wound to his head. the firefighter specialist who was shot and killed has not been identified. >> he was a brave, committed, loyal member of the department for over 20 years. todd: the other firefighter, 50-year-old captain is expected to survive. no word on a motive but this is the second deadly workplace shooting in california in less then a week. jillian: authorities organize a massive search for this missing 11-year-old who vanished from his small town in iowa. more than 500 people including

the truth that you discovered? >> i think you hit it on the head right there. when you call for a moratorium on charter schools, that is a direct attack on black families, on black children. the question i always ask folks, how can black lives matter if black minds don't matter? jillian: so the organization raised $90 million in 2020. i'm curious where that money is going and if that money is going to help black families to help black children. >> i will tell you this here in minnesota, we have education gaps and, you know, based on the data, where we have tons of schools where four out of five kids cannot read, i would say that money is not coming to minnesota. all right. if we had 90 million, heck, children would be up here reading. our schools would be better. let me ask you asking here. when you think about that 90 million where it comes from,

blm has been co-opted i do teachers unions, specifically at the national level the american federation of teachers and here locally in minnesota, education minnesota. these teachers unions owns democrats. they own blm and teachers unions in my opinion they kill our children' hopes and dreams. if we are thinking about black children doing what's best for black families we have to start with education. there is not a disparity in this country that doesn't begin with folks not being able to read. so if black lives really matters, we must start in that classroom. todd: that's the crux of this, right? for decades blacks have been prevented from getting the same quality education as the whites. it's a fact. it's reality. why does the education system seem to be able to suppress blacks like it does? >> it's the teachers unions. i can't say it enough. here in minnesota, education minnesota is 94% white yet, they

walk around acting like they are so woke that they know what's best for black children. they own our education system. they spend 30 to $50 million a year here in minnesota to control what our politicians are doing. i don't know if folks have been paying attention toe what our -- i don't even know what to call him today governor tim walls in minnesota hasn't done one thing that's because teachers unions control him. we have to start listening to parents. i mean, there is no way on earth after these two past school years that folks can think that things like education savings accounts aren't going to be good for families. there is not one black family here in my neighborhood in saint paul that has said hey we don't want that money to follow our child. anyone who is in opposition to school choice, charter schools, you are right i would say they're racist. we know that charter schools are creating opportunities. we know that that money that is supposed to be educating our
