>> i want to go to you now because the paycheck protection program is close to new applicants, as someone who is four restaurants in new jersey i am curious what this program was able to do for you. is this the reason you have been able to financially survive? >> very much so. thanks for having me back on the show, i am sorry for what is going on. out in alaska, the worst thing the president can be doing right now. the ppp loans for my industry, i have four restaurants on the jersey shore. we lost one.2 to $1.3 million of revenue last year and the ppp loans helped us keep our lights on it helped me keep my employees, more importantly it really gave us a sense of hope that we would get through this pandemic which it did. i was able to secure two rounds of funding for both rounds of ppp and it really helped us keep going and keep focused and even though there was a lot of

debt we didn't shudder. we are still open at all of our locations and it really helped us get through it. >> you lost over $1.2 million in revenue over the last 14 months. how long is it going to take for you to recoup all those losses? >> it could be years. we were lucky. we figured out some creative ways to keep afloat on top of the ppp loans but other industries were not able to do that. stopping it now is the last thing the president should do. small business america is going to be in trouble for many years to come. this is devastating. we need help. >> final message to both of you. i'm curious your message to the administration. what do you want the president to know? >> this is something that is

the second thing is working to not back down, ultimately republicans dig in their heels in the senate and house saying we are not going to support this budget, it's not a bipartisan budget, it is funding abortion, there are millions of lives on the line and we cannot do this. time for war at the federal level in congress, stand up and be strong and say we will not support this bill and the last thing is the elections, another election coming up in two years and another in four years, midterms in the next election. we have to remember this. remember the extremism of president biden and his administration, decades of precedent, trying to remove the hyde amendment to force americans to fund the killing of reborn children. todd: does this lead to a government shutdown? >> i think it needs to. now is the time. we cannot give in on the pro-life side you cannot give in. todd: thanks for your time, appreciate it.
