that we heard? >> this was really a continuation of a bill that was sponsored last year in july 2020 by senator chris murphy from connecticut as well as the representative ayana pressly from massachusetts, a bill called the criminalization of schools act. i understand the purpose of it, that they perceive that if they remove the police from the schools there will be less criminalization and they want to place more counselors in the school which is not a bad idea in itself. it sounds pretty good on its face. i don't know if it's going to accomplish what they think it's going to do. you might have unintended consequence. the bill they're suggesting suggests there should be at least one social worker, one counselor for every 250 students and one psychologist for every

750 students. jillian: let me if i can break this up, the graphics of the cities that banned police in schools. there are certainly a number of them. i'm curious your within, what removing police from schools could potentially do. what type of issues could this pose? >> i'm sure it will allow for more entry of weapons into the school system. also, it doesn't necessarily remove the school safety officers, worrying about the criminalization of children. overall, i think it will reduce the safety of some of these schools. the police officers in these schools was not there by accident or plan, it was actually done by necessity prior to this occurring. in other words, the police officers didn't create the situation. the police officers were placed in there because the schools had the issues in the first place. jillian: so alexandria ocasio-cortez among others, as you mentioned, you mentioned a few names, other members of the squad, what do you think they

don't understand about the job and the role of police officers in schools and what do you want them to understand about it? >> well, they don't seem to understand that the police officers aren't there to criminalize the students, they're there to provide safety. nor are they required to do any particular activities. there's no requirement that they have to produce x amount of referrals within the month or along that line. my fear is this, the psychologists and the counselors could justify their existence may come up with concepts of deviancy that is recorded under their reports. when they report a youth referral, that record goes away, it's carefully sealed, there's retention rules on it governed by the state. jillian: dr. costello, i'm sorry to interrupt. we are out of time. we would love to continue the conversation with you another day and sorry to interrupt you

the evolution of the virus or did he intentionally mislead the american people? >> well, we are only at the very beginning of this investigation. we need to have an investigation and time will tell whether he was just really bad at his job or whether there was some sort of criminal intent there the thing we know is that thousands of lives would have been saved if he had been more direct with the american people. we know china exported this virus intentionally. we know that the w.h.o. covered up for them. we know that fauci covered up for the w.h.o. and china and the american people are like this is the top doctor? we can do better than this. jillian: who else do you think should be investigated if anyone. >> well, lining i said, this is the twinning of the investigation, we need to look into it. it goes back to the old big question, right, with federal government, follow the money. i think we will be able to find out a lot of what is going on. unfortunately, there were people
