segment continues every friday. whatever happened to syria? what's going on there right now. thanks for inviting us into your home tonight. that's it for this "special report," fair, balanced and still unafraid. "fox news primetime" hosted this week by tammy bruce is so good i'm going to toss it four seconds early. >> tammy: excellent. thank you, bret. this has been an honor to be tossed to by you, sir. thank you very much. and good evening, everyone. and welcome to "fox news primetime." ♪ ♪ >> tammy: i'm tammy bruce and tonight we take on the left's institutional power centers. the intrenched everexpanding political bureaucracy and their aligned special interest group that denigrate the value of humanity, erode our individual rights, and try to weaken the power of working people in order to enrich themselves. of course, this is all inevitable because big government only sees itself. it is the ultimate narcissist. everything else exists for its benefit.
4:01 pm
think about this: with marv government, the people are the budget. little hash marks on he's poof paper. little items in a multitrillion dollars lobbyist give away. all devolving us into a prowcket to manage, a product to district, a product to attack and a product to exploit for political and financial gain all along the way. but, again, it's the same story on quite literally every single issue. take the growing catastrophe on our southern border. as biden and harris continue to down play the real human costs of a reckless open borders agenda. and how many times, if any, have you heard kamala harris or joe biden talk about the cost of fentanyl pouring into the country? the myriad of diseases not tested for or quarantine teed, covid, measles, tuberculosis, zika, the sex trafficking, the sexual assault. the child abuse, the human smuggling and exploitation of workers, poet american and foreign because of the desire for cheap labor? is this what any of us voted for? my guess is big business did not
4:02 pm
like the shrinking wage gap between black and white americans that president donald trump's policies made possible. and how did he do this? by making the use of cheap labor less possible and more difficult. when you have to hire americans with wage laws and regulations wages go up. it seems, for some reason, president biden and the democrats want wages to go down in america's urban areas. it's a denigration of the migrants themselves. a den ground invasion the communities and families that must absorb the cost. and a complete denigration of the human value of being able to live in a country where laws will be enforced, where sovereignty will be embraced and where safety and security will be prioritized. but what's kamala harris' response? to literally laugh off questions about what is now a full-fledged biden-harris inflicted border crisis. and the bigger the government, the more our hard-earned money looks like water. water that easily gets wasted, flushed, or somehow delivered to
4:03 pm
foreign criminals. axios is now reporting that half of the pandemic's employment money may have been stolen. with 400 billion, that's with a b likely ending up in the hands of foreign crime as i understand cats. and this is the system that wants complete control over our lives. and have had it for the past year. confirming we should have a complete accounting of the government's response to covid. we unwrap all of these issues on tonight's show. but, of course, it's not just formal centers of government power where we see the same could i am in mic. it's also their aligned groups like major unions. consider major left wing union figures continue to teleworkers that a $15 minimum wage is the fight for a better future. while ignoring the real world costs on businesses and the real world effects of the actual implea men tafings the policy. for example, the former ceo of mcdonald's this week issued a dire warning pushing to automation and job loss.
4:04 pm
but, again, the unions aren't being honest with the workers. data at the department of labor links union salaries and wage rates to the federal minimum wage. regardless if they represent even one minimum wage worker. so, even if it kills jobs. the unions still benefit. it's the union bosses exploiting and feeding off the misery of workers so their lives of power and electionry can continue. look, we all want everyone to do well. fairly, legally and through competition. this is a free market not a vampireic system. of course the people hurt most of all by this the middle and working classes who will suffer under rising energy costs, inflation, the rising cost of food. and most everything else. impacting those living on the margins the most. living paycheck to paycheck. courtesy of biden and harris as of may the inflation rate hit a 13-year high. but, to the democratic establishment, it doesn't matter. all they do is virtue signaling
4:05 pm
and pandering to the far left because there is some perceived political gain instead of a practical benefit to actually boost the quality of americans' lives. on education, just take the far left prom mull gaght the obscenity of critical race theory which dehumanizes people, reducing them to nothing more than their race, all to further the careers of left wing activists and educators. again, can you only get behind such an agenda if you look at kids, as an example of nothing more than a resource to benefit one political faction. conditioning them to fear themselves and everyone else. to be bitter instead of confident and optimistic. for the left even your children's lives are up for grabs. but, thankfully, common sense americans are pushing back and swarming the biden education department with complaints about critical race theory. and parents are confronting monovalent and idiotic school boards directly. we have much more on those heroes coming up. but, some of the worst of this human denigration is hidden inside the democrats' porked
4:06 pm
stuff legislation. for example, have you heard about the so-called endless frontier act it is ostensibly designed to censor china. shot down an amendment that would outlaw the creation of essential human animal hybrids by splicing cells from the embryos of animals with those of aborted human babies. open the door in the creation of an abomination. we will have much more on this stunning race into the moral abyssso you see the size of government itself and its contempt for the peopleade it inevitable that they hardly see us as human beings at all. no doubt they see us as hamsters in the wheel. all to fund an everexpanding bureaucracy. in fact, the endless spend something a representation of the denigration of humanity at every -- it all happens when government becomes an insatiable monolith. and here is a time period period
4:07 pm
to think about. five months. five months. that's on average how many months americans worked in 2021 just to pay our tax bill. that means until may 31st, we were working only for the government. year after year that date gets pushed forward even more. for the washington swamp to do what they're doing, they have to actually be divorcing our humanity from the spending, the waste, the fraud, and the abuse to ignore the fact that it's real paychecks, the fruits of your labor that fund it all. and, of course, it will never be enough. because the bureaucracy always grows. they don't care, so what if you have to work through october in order to pay your fair share to the government. you are the hamster, don't forget. you should be grateful to pay people like fauci, the irs, planned parenthood, and now even the legacy news media is arguing their they're infrastructure and should be subsidized by the government which means your tax dollars. so, think about it. has there ever been a moment in

me ask you, do you think i'm going too far in my assessment here? it seems like the average person has gotten lost in a machine now that just doesn't care. >> i think you are spot on. look, president obama recently said that president joe biden is finishing what i started but let's not forget what president obama started ended in the presidency of president donald trump. and when you look at exit polling through the primaries, one poll always stuck out to me and this was the 2016 primary. and it was this they felt betrayed by the federal government. that was at a record high and blue states, in fact, the betrayal of the federal government metric was close to 50% in some blue states. and that existed for a very specific reason. americans were left behind and by contrast when you got to 2019, pre-pandemic, and president trump, you saw the largest annual gains of median household income on record. groups that have been traditionally left behind, plaque americans, hispanic americans disproportionately saw those fans. poverty at a low going back to

no, i tell you very simply this this is example of what happens when we let elitist take charge. it's the same group paying people to stay home, have small business competing against the government which they can never win. go through the litany of things that's happened the last six months and why should would he be surprised that they wasted half money stolen. that's what the left does. they have no idea how to run a business or run anything. they reimagine everything because they have never imagined anything from the very beginning. i'm not surprised and we should not be surprised and as stated before, american people are waking up, thank goodness. this contrast will do great things for us and 2022 will show that we don't want this leftist leaning charge that we have been through the last six months. >> tammy: you are relatively new there. do you feel that your voice, your experience can make a difference? do you find that pam -- i know it's been usual the last year to say the least. but do you feel that you can make a difference with all of this? it's madness. >> absolutely. i will tell you what the biggest
