particularly young men, were developing a fatal complication, a heart inflammation and developing it at extremely high rates. the incident of this in vaccinated young men was 25 times the usual rate. some died. in canada one public official observed the same thing. he was the chief scientific officer at ottawa heart institute and noticed this heart inflammation for patients who received the vaccine. in germany authorities concluded the same thing. the government announced that healthy young people should avoid the vaccine. it's too dangerous. this is a significant development for us in the united states. young americans could develop
5:02 pm
a fatal heart disorder because of the vaccine. that's not a conspiracy theory. that's real. the cdc confirmed what appear to be be dangerous side effects. the biden administration's vaccine and first reporting system and the cdc vaccine safety data link show high rates of myocarditis in young people who have been vaccinated. it is possible that healthy young people in this country will be much more likely to be harmed by the vaccine than by covid itself. that would be a disaster. it's the definition of a preventible disaster. how are institutions responding to these numbers? mostly by ignoring them. in the last week many american colleges and universities announced they will require
5:03 pm
proof of vaccination before they allow students to return to campus. at some schools that applies only to students. it does not apply to faculty and staff. as for the young people who already recovered from covid and likely have robust immunity, they will be required to get the shot too. these are big numbers. close to 20 million college students in this country. most will have no choice but to take a drug that other governments have conclude side dangerous for them to take. yesterday virginia state university system announced that vaccine exemptions will be nearly impossible to get. it will not be granted based on objections. it is no longer your body.
5:04 pm
no longer your choice. if this vaccine there is no escape. you wonder how this can happen in a free country. as me it's reckless. what are the long-term effects of forcing these drugs on millions of young people many of whom don't need it? we don't know what the long-term effects are. anyone who claims he knows is lying. the fda panel discussed the rise in cardiac emergency in young people who got the vaccine. it's more than twice than anticipated. one professor said before we start vaccinating children we need to find out the consequences. joe biden doesn't want to wait. he promised universal vaccination and he plans to get it done.
5:05 pm
here he is last week telling you to shut up and take the shot. >> some people say the vaccines were developed so quickly they can't be that good. the bottom line is: i promise you they are safe. they are extremely effective. >> tucker: i promise you say are safe. if the numbers out of israel turnout to be real and applicable to our population that, clip will live forever as the most destructive thing a sitting president has said. the administration should have known this could be coming. pfizer's own clinical trials showed disturbing effects in young people. pfizer gave the vaccine to a group of children between 12 to 15. the rest got a placebo.
5:06 pm
the fda approved the vaccine for 12 to 15 years old anyway. now the age may be dropping. the "new york times" is reporting that drug makers pfizer and moderna are gearing up to vaccinate children as young as 6 months old. none of this is necessary. covid is not a great threat to children and young people don't play a significant role in spreading covid. that hasn't stopped the biden administration. here's joe biden personal covid advisor demanding that all college students get the shot. >> there are places where you are congregating people that we should have mandates. students in universitieses. my university, and every

healthcare worker. i should not worry has that doctor or nurse been vaccinated? -- employers should require their workers to get vaccinated. >> tucker: we must get vaccinated. what is the risk? it tells you something that no one in authority ever mentions the down side of vaccination. every drug has potential side-effects. it doesn't mean we don't take them. but we have a right to know what they could do to us. transparency is the ethics of medical ethics. what is the harm rate from covid vaccines you? are not allowed. we wroted numbers of the administration's own reporting system that show a massive
5:08 pm
increase in deaths from this vaccine. even if that system is flawed, it's hard to explain the jump in fatalities. same system and different result. between july 1, 1997 there were deaths report. but in the last 6 months it doubled the number of deaths in 1/10th of the time. what does that mean? how do you explain that. those numbers are wrong say the liars. let's say they are wrong. what are the real numbers. how many people were killed or injured by the covid vaccine? does anyone know the answer? more to the point is anyone in authority making a good faith looking to find the answer?
5:09 pm
it's outrageous. if you are going to force people to take a drug, you have a moral obligation to understand the effects of the drug and be honest. they have are not doing that. people closest to these decisions have a good sense of what is going on. they know transparency with they see it and know lying when they see it. the other day the head of nih and cdc admitted half of their employers were not vaccinated? why? you think they would be first in line. it's not because they are ignorant. maybe it's the opposite. in texas one group of healthcare workers, some of the most informed patients in america are revolting at being forced to take this vaccine. watch. >> houston methodist hospital requiring all staff members to get vaccinated for covid-19 or

don't want to take. but college students can't wait for a court decision. in just weeks they will have to show vaccine passports or they will be barred from school. how should their parents respond? this doctor is a surgeon and a scientist at harvard medical school. he joins us. so, i want to ask you specifically about college students. i know you have a number of children including some i believe in college. but also because you have done work on the question of vaccinating people who recovered from the virus and have had a level of antibodies in their system. does it make sense to force young people to get the vaccine when they have recovered from covid? >> that's a great question. in the recent months and in the past week, it's becoming clear
5:12 pm
that people recovered are equally protected from covid infection compared to people who were vaccinated. this is something we predicted even before the evidence emerged. no. i believe that vaccinating people who are covid recovered in this emergency situation where we rapidly approved this new vaccine is an error in public health judgment. we are overriding the principles of medical necessity. if a person doesn't benefit from a vaccine or any medical treatment they should not be given it. it only opens the door to harm. we are doing something unprecedented: vaccinating people in the middle of an outbreak. where people have had recent infections. that's a recipe for disaster.
5:13 pm
>> tucker: as someone who studied this, how strongly do you feel about this? if you were a parent of a child who had covered from covid and had high levels of antibodies as measured by a blood test, how would you respond to the demand that child has to get the vaccine before returning back to campus? would you allow that? >> i am happy to share my own personal position. i have two kids going to college. one a great college in boston. she had no antibodies and got the moderna vaccine and now has good antibodies levels. my son at the university of chicago. he had covid in november and a whopping amount of antibodies. we are asking for a vaccine exemption based on potential harm. from a medical perspective this is a no brainer.
5:14 pm
if we force kids at risk of loss of educational opportunities to meet in person to get vaccinated and they are harmed, this is not the liability that the institutions will have to absorb. this is not an approved vaccine. we are rushing through this very fast where many people have already been naturally infected. >> tucker: you make a compelling case. if you don't get the medical exemption, what then? >> well, that's a good question. we will cross that bridge when we get to. i will have his serum levels measured again. i would know -- not be opposed

5:16 pm
how big of a story is this? >> an enorm ours story. -- it was a month ago that the cdc said kids 12 to 15 could get this vaccine. we don't have much data on that population yet. there have already been 2 cases of myocarditis after itsond dose. people don't have an excess risk for after the vaccine. the risk appears to get worse the younger kids are. why you would push 12 to 15 years old to be vaccinated when we know worldwide the risk of
5:17 pm
death of covid-19 from people under 18 is so low you almost can't measure it. it's like 1 per million. i don't understand what the public health authorities are thinking. it seems good to me that the cdc is concerned about this. they called for an emergency meeting next week. you and i and other voices in the wilderness warned about this and we talked about the lab leak last year and nobody wanted to listen. now the chickens are coming home. >> tucker: scary. at great cost to people and their kids. tell me about hydroxychloroquine. we have not been allowed to use that word for sometime. what do we know? >> quickly, this is part of the bigger puzzle. donald trump last year liked hydroxychloroquine so you could
5:18 pm
not say anything positive about it. the study out of new jersey should be confirmed if it's true with bigger studies that are randomized controlled which they have not done. they made one interesting observation maybe hydroxychloroquine was under-doseed in heavy people. so with a higher dose you might show the results you would like to show that the drug has benefits. which we have not done. what to remember about acq, we don't know whether it works or not. the medical establishment once donald trump said he liked it destroyed it. the lancet published an article it had to retract it. if donald trump were president and we were talking about the trump vaccine the medical establishment would be looking
5:19 pm
