year ago, everybody in charge. it was lunacy. precisely because it was lunacy nobody disagreed with it. the more self-evidently absurd the statement is, the more clearly untrue, attacking anybody who's pointing out it's untrue. defund the police. insurrection. it's childish, it is also ridiculous and no sane person believes a word of it. but it's the fever of the moment passes, most people who have no power feel obligated to play along. you can't beat nature. in the case of crime that may be happening now. it has announced today on wednesday of this week joe biden will outline a new plan to fight rising crime rates which are skyrocketing and the body counts of the company.

air. they keep screaming it's the greatest threat we face because we are highly literal on the show we believe and we went searching for the numbers. busy trying to create the numbers now. here is for the moment what we've got. researchers and the university of maryland runs a thing called the global terrorism database. for example they count the parkland school shootings and active white supremacist violence and there is no evidence that it was, how can you say it, they said anyway. the numbers are inflated and, yet, the research at the university of maryland could find fewer than 70 people in the entire country who died to white supremacist violence over the entire period between 2015 and 2019. how many people? to menu, and he death is too many, but for some perspective more people die in the country

from lightning strikes. white supremacist violence as bad as they may be is not a major threat and it's not on the list actually. what's at the top of the list? let's see. of crime, crime tops the list, there is no second place on that list. year 2019 alone, there is more 10,000 arrests or murder in the country. more murders and 10,000 arrested. just in 2020 last year, more than 750 people were murdered just in the city of chicago and 750 and we can say not that anybody is asking but in case you are wondering, with some confidence that the overwhelming majority of those suspects in the city of chicago were not members of qanon or white supremacists. how do we know? informed guest but sometimes there's video. surveillance footage of shooting that took place this week, right after the puerto rican day

parade, you may have seen abbreviated versions of the clip on social media today. if we have the full version on your screen as we speak and it's taken directly from a closed circuit television camera the city of chicago. as you watch this, ask yourself, what country is that? it's america. it's not some third world, it's not haiti, it's a major street in the third-largest city. the puerto rican flag waving from their car, ambushed by a mob and dragged from the car and shot execution-style right in the middle-of-the-road. the men who shoot them take off and then maybe the worst part, the victims lie there bleeding because nobody comes to help. what country is this? who is running at? why haven't we brought those people up on the felony neglect charges? they deserve it. if we accept a country where things like this happened and we are the savages, we should not

accept it but joe biden does though. he has not said a word about the shooting and he won't because there's no white supremacists and it's one crime he will never mention. >> here's video of the horrific altercation the brother who didn't want to be identified said his brother had rear ended a parked car after that, a groun inside the car jumped out and started attacking them and also throwing up gang signs. 24-year-old was shot in the head in the head, hand, and thigh and died at the saint mary's hospital and his wife, was shot in the neck and remains in critical condition. >> tucker: shot in the neck and lays there, nobody helping. but that was not the only shooting this weekend in chicago, far from it. chicago, the city by the way that just banned its own police from chasing suspects on foot, in all 54 people were shot in chicago this weekend.

it wasn't happening just there, chicago gets a lot of attention but it's not constrained chicago, in new york where the geniuses also defunded the police, surveillance footage shows two children were shot on thursday and the attempted murder in the middle of the day. watch this. >> this disturbing surveillance video shows the gunman firing his weapon and a 24-year-old man inches away from two young children. of brother and sister ages 10 and 5 happened in broad daylight thursday. the kids were walking to the bodega before they were caught in the middle of this and at ons sister trying to shield her younger brother with her own body. >> tucker: normal people watch and say to themselves whatever we're doing we have to change. you can't have things like this, innocent people are getting killed and killed flat out. we can't have that because we are a civilized society, this is a decent nation and one thing

you can't allow is that. that's not the conclusion they are reaching and by the way new polling, mayor's race going on in the city of new york in the primaries tomorrow which in effect as the election because it's the democratic controlled city. fewer than 20% of new yorkers would like to see fewer cops on the street and so most people aren't with or for this at all because it's insane. the people in charge apparently haven't noticed. so, now, new york may change its approach even further. just days ago officials in the city announced they were dropping charges against hundreds of rioters and looters who were arrested last year varied who wrecked in the city and you are not punished. it is scary, but it's not as scary as the attitudes on display in this clip. this gets you asking deep questions about the future of the country and this is from oakland, california. several people were shot and one died during juneteenth celebration this weekend.

that is bad. but the worst part is how people in the neighborhood reacted. they didn't seem bothered at all. here's how they responded to the ambulance when it arrived. >> [shouting] >> tucker: last week we showed you footage of people in chicago dancing on the police cruiser and no we have this, sociopaths and that's the word for them celebrating a shooting by torquing. what kind of society produces people like that who would behave like that and do you know anybody who would behave like that when you have people behave like that you have to ask yoursf what are we as a society doing wrong? is it fathers, the schools, who

knows what the answer is but if were not trying to find the answer there's going to be a guaranteed more of it. anybody who celebrates a shooting is not somebody you want to share a country with. is there a more important task? probably not. but it's completely ignored. instead low iq leaders patronize the same mindless talking points about gun control and assault weapons. like ar-15s are the problem. not our political class which is clearly the problem. we're can show you many examples and this is the mayor of chicago lori lightfoot. >> mayor lori lightfoot said part of the crime issue is gun-control. >> you can go over the border in indiana and literally by military grade weapons at any quantity.

of >> the numbers show that crime is up around this time last year there were 521 people shot. now the number is 743. >> tucker: it's tiresome even to repeat it here but again because we are literal and connected to physical reality, we feel honor bound to tell you once more something that lori lightfoot of course knows herself virtually every gun crime in the city of chicago is committed with a hand gun and on ar-15. why is she focused on assault weapons? because the people who own assault weapons don't live in chicago and did not vote for her. so she would be happy to disarm them and the biden administration feels the same way. that's why in march the white house lawyers argued before the supreme court of united states and the development that didn't get the edge attention it deserved that police should be able to enter the homes of law-abiding

citizens and sees their firearms. in other words, your means of self-defense belong to the biden administration. this will not solve crime, it will only disarm you. the real problems here have nothing to do with the weapons used and nothing to do with the race of people committing the crimes and it's not a black person problem, not a white person problem, it's bad leadership of the people in charge and it's on display all around us. a prosecutor funded by one man gorge soros refusing to enforce the law. george soros helped elect larry krasner as the d.a. and convictions are dropping. the cops are doing their part, the prosecutors are refusing to do there is. the result, the cities now on

pace to far exceed its murder rate from 30 years ago 1990 was the previous high and there are about to beat it. what happens when prosecutors do enforce the law and target the people committing the crimes? that's the way the country used to work and by the way it works and we have new research to show that. researchers at the university of pennsylvania and princeton found that game takedowns by cops explain nearly a quarter of all gun violence in the housing projects in new york city after a 2011. you go after the people you know are committing the crimes and then you've got a lot less crime. the gangs are committing the city particularly in chicago so joe biden is serious about protecting children from being murdered on the street or at the puerto rican day parade. go after the gangs. but he's probably not going to do that on wednesday. he's not going to say a word about prosecutors like larry krasner funded by his friend

be some of it doesn't look like them and they are here to help. when they see you as, they are happy. they're glad we are there. but the problem happens at night when things get crazy. it just gets out of control and the problem is, most people are good and they want to live their lives they want their kids to be able to go to school in the zone where they don't have to walk through a safe zone but the problem is it such a small amount. if this is what's maddening, it's a small amount of people in the relatively good neighborhoods where moms, kids, dads, just want to live and they can't because of the gangs that you mentioned. >> tucker: so, how is it liberation to allow armed gangs to control the streets like who benefits from this exactly? why is a chicago city putting up with this? >> if you ask me my conjecture would be this. that there are politicians and all they want to do is pander for the vote and they know who's going to get them elected.

they took up with a hispanic boy who's 13 years old and a good boy and shot although he happened to be a latin king, that doesn't wash well with the constituents. there is a guy named raymond lopez and you're aware of him, is the only guy in my estimation in one of the hardest hit neighborhoods in chicago that will call out the activity and say what needs to be said and then persecuted for speaking the truth. we will do shows like this and then moms are going to cry, kids will die, the pastors i work with they need a mental health break because there's so much going on. >> tucker: awful, shocking. i agree you on raymond lopez. great leader. ray stevens, thank you. >> thank you, tucker. >> tucker: candace owens is the host of "candace" and thank you so much for coming on. joe biden's party is creating

crime and crimes are part of human nature and they made possible this terrifying jump in crime rates and murder rates and now they will solve the problem. what are the chances the solutions make them more powerful? >> 100%, chances are 100% the solutions will make them more powerful. i will say it and spell it out plainly, the united states government at this point is engaged in criminality and no other way to say it. they know exactly what they are doing, using black people and racism as ponds to distract from what's actually going on which is our government is increasingr exponentially over the last few years. covid-19, the extent of their powers telling you when to open the businesses and what you can read to, when you can breathe, and covid-19 will be remembered as one of the greatest wealth transfers of the government to itself. in taking our taxpayer dollars and giving themselves trillions upon trillions and bringing up lori lightfoot a woman who decided she will use covid-19

funds and transferred ten millions of the dollars to explore a public health crisis that's racism. he means that there's going to be more government, and to government will get more power and keep the issue going on that's exactly wife you're wondering why they are talking about juneteenth and file that under race theory, file it under the 6019 project and all these things are meant to distract from taking a look at where everything bad that's happening in our country right now and that the united states government being controlled by democrats who think nothing more but to enrich and empower themselves. >> tucker: man, the crispus summation of a very complex issue and every word true. a candace owens, thank you so much for coming on. so schools across the country

this mandate from taking effect. adversely affecting indiana university students. >> tucker: were you aware that americans could be forced to take medicine they do not want and do not need? has that happened before in american history? >> it has in the progressive era, forced sterilization and vaccination was approved by the supreme court and of course that was in the era in 1904 when the progressives were basically anti-individual liberty and in favor of experts deciding all these issues. they were very skeptical of democracy because they did not want the experts to be influenced and that of course led to forced vaccination and then immediately as authority forced sterilization that the

supreme court gave one of the most notorious statements ever, which was three generations of imbecile is him justifying for sterilization. things have changed and we respect individual liberty now and we are not seeing the authority that students have four adults have and the experts on the government. there is cases and it seems like the beginning of the pandemic that it was extremely serious and justified measures and of course those were applied. years later, we have wonderful therapeutics, and the effects of the vaccinations that prevent people from getting it. i mean, most governments now are lifting restrictions and

about cable news host type things with the royals are up to, how they are flown into a black hole the news. but don lemon is most importantly more than that. he's a civil rights leader. the other day he spoke to "the washington post" about his feelings on civil rights and declared that america is a racist country. "we're living in two different realities as black and white people." said father lemon. it's interesting we read that and here's a guy who makes millions of dollars a year from presiding over a show that's failing and that seems like a pretty good deal. but like so many, don lemon is also a victim a successful victim. we asked on the victim scale on the scale of meghan markle to michelle obama just how oppressed don lemon's. what's the different reality he is forced to live in? as a black man in america. we did a little bit of digging and here is the details.

don lemon lives in a $4.3 million home in new york. no, he doesn't live in section 8 housing, he lives in one of the whitest towns in america and in fact, 80%, just 3% african-american. in the interview he said america needs to see more people like him. he lectures america about diversity. when he did not tell "the washington post" that in his free time he runs away from diversity. his reality is that he doesn't play to diversity at all. none of them do. but here's most troubling discovery. you've heard from the white house and the president himself that white supremacy is a lurking threat and you might not see it but it's always there like russian spies, white supremacists, in the dark of night and the most surprising form. shape shifters. we're not calling it to be a white supremacist here but you have to ask yourself and putting it on the screen now. what is this? the symbol of hate?

same if you go back 60 years or so. so it's a lot of natural variability in the system and it's very difficult to untangle or discern human effects and extreme weather. when i hear people talking about these existential threats, i am reminded about the line in the princess bride movie where they keep using the word "inconceivable" and they say to him you keep using that word and i don't think it means what you think it means. i don't think the science says what may secretary pete thinks it says. i guarantee he's never read the signs. i can guarantee you that senator saunders, president biden, ambassador carrie, secretary have never read the signs. because you need to be a scientist in order to do that. when you read it, there is very little in terms of extreme

would squelch all sorts of rumors that are damaging to the regime. china has not done that and that to me says that we have him and in fact he defected. >> tucker: one of the reasons that seems true to me is that the great american propaganda machine managing the lies that we receive in one week changed their official story on where the virus came from. oh, well, it came from a lab and that suggested to me that there are some person who had unimpeachable information on this who would contradict the official lie. >> yes, and clearly what we have right now is a change of heart on some people and some people in the biden administration. that could be due to various things, due to political pressure for instance, but i think they've now gotten evidence that this indeed was a leak from the wuhan institute of

virology and perhaps as important that the chinese military was working in the lab itself. that suggests a biological weapons program. >> tucker: the chinese side as we interviewed a couple times on this show and i don't know what to make of it but unequivocally she was in wuhan when it happened and released as a bio weapon intentionally. i hate to say that because it's such a radical thing to say but i have to ask how you assess the claim? >> it is possible, but i think it's unlikely and the reason is china did not have the vaccine. there is people who have said they wanted to see the effect of the coronavirus on the population and they thought they could contain it, and that's possible and as a matter of fact a lot of chinese nationals believe it was in an intentional release. it was the foreigners who think it was accidental. i believe it probably was a mistake and that china was not able to contain it. >> tucker: yeah, you've got to
