nationally you have officer morale. they feel under siege, under appreciated. that impacts their productivity. we lost proactive police engagement where we need it the most. we have somewhat lost that. judge jeanine: i will go to joseph gamaldi, vice president of the fraternal order of police. tell us what biden said right and what he said wrong. >> he acknowledged that defunding the police is a complete loser. but politicians in the media are still gas lighting america that it's a solution. i will tell you where the president missed his mark. he didn't talk about rogue prosecutors and judges. we have gang members shooting people getting probation.

the case. we have got an increase in the tolerance of hate toward police. putting a target own their back. does joe biden think anybody believes what he's saying, 90% of the street crimes occur as a result of sales from 5% of gun sale purchasers? is that crazy? does that number sound legit to you? >> i will say this, and i consider myself a street cop. answer the question. is that a legitimate number. do you believe for one second what he said. that 90% of the gun crimes that occur in america occur as a result of those same guns being sold by 5% of the gun dealers? is that legitimate. >> i don't know that data. it does not seem reasonable to

me. but i haven't drilled down to those numbers. judge jeanine: go ahead, what were you going to say. what i was going to say was, we talk about the officers being undervalued. our officers have to answer 911 calls for service. buff we can't force them to do the car stops and do the investigations that yield the types of drugs and weapons possessed by criminals that are harming our community. they will only do that if they feel appreciated and feel they will be judged fairly in a crisis. what was said earlier with regards to the revolving door. this a perception, true or not. nationally, and many of my colleagues will tell you violent criminals are not being held accountable. this leads to thinking social

controls are being lessened which further erodes the morale of police officers and it ultimately affects our community the most. judge jeanine: joe gamaldi. the chiestles right. we are letting them out. we let gang members out to kill again. will somebody talk about bail reform? is any of this going to happen or will we just have to live with this and buy our own guns? >> i hope we continue to have a discussion about what a disaster the bail reform has been. cook county which is chicago was a complete failure and people were reoffending on violent crimes by 50%. law enforcement in this country, the police officers delivered

historic crime reductions in this country and we can do it again. and if we prosecute violent crimes to the fullest extent of the law and embrace broken windows theories we can do it again. but we need the support from our community and the politicians. judge jeanine: finally, cleave garcia, if you can have just one thing in the next 15 seconds. what would that be? would it be to change the laws or funding? >> if i had a wish list i would keep it simple as we talked about the issue of guns. if we can hold the individuals that will illegally possessing weapons, that are criminals. hold those individuals accountable to the fullest extent possible we can move the needle. judge jeanine: thank you so much

have got all these parents coming out to a school board meeting. and they put an end to free speech at a school board meeting where parents have a right to speak. they can't decide we'll only hear from 20% and we don't want to hear any more of it. i would find out how to recall that board and get started on a new board as quickly as possible. but this is reflective of what's going on nationally. 2022 you think is a way of righting the wrongs we are experiencing? >> the economy has always been the main issue. this time it's crime. but tied with the economy is political correctness. because these cultural wedge issues affects their lives, and affects their kids. i have a 1 1/2 year old. if she came home to me and said

anomaly, but it's par for the course. i have tracked 121 people who have been murdered by defendants released on multiple felony bonds which is a fancy word forget out of free card or bond forfeiture. over 85 occurred in 2020 and 2021. we are in the midst not just harris county. but nationally the ramifications of bond reform. we are in a bond pandemic and people are paying the ultimate price for these decisions. that is, they are losing their life. judge jeanine: crime stoppers, when i was d.a., i brought it to west chester and i commend you for your work with crime stoppers. the shame of all of this, bail reform or bond reform is not

reform at all. it's not as though we came up with the idea of bail out of nowhere. it's in the constitution. it's note like it isn't a foundation of our criminal justice system. but they are committing more crimes. is there any movement in texas to try to repeal this alleged bail and bond reform? >> there used to be an adage called one bond per customer. you are out on bond, you were charged with another crime, guess what, you weren't getting back out again. that's not happening any more. we are hopeful during the special session bond reform will get passed because we desperately need it. crime is up, ladies and gentlemen, and it's associated with bail. you are delusional to think it resolving door at the courthouse isn't playing a significant role

in crime rates in houston and nationally. judge jeanine: if we are sending a message to criminals, it's go ahead, we'll let you out again. >> there has got to be a point where you say enough is enough. we had a guy out on over 12 bonds. most of them for aggravated robbery. i am sitting there $saying you know what, son, this bond thing is not woking out. it's not good for you because you keep getting arrested. and it's not in the best interest of public safety. it defies logic to let offenders out time and time again to commit crimes. people are paying the price for this. i dare any city to do what we are doing, that is keeping track of their citizens murdered by defendants released on more than one bond.

judge jeanine: how is the family doing in this case? >> they are frustrated. i don't blame them. the guys out on won to begin with and he's charged with murder. then they are back out again and they are saying we are keep him unhouse arrest. you and i both know that's as good as the word on a piece of paper. they are of the opinion, i agree with it, someone else will pay the price of this decision. judge jeanine: andy, let's get to the name of the judge in this case. >> it is the 248th district court judge, and she is no stranger to the 121 on my list. i keep track of the judges. her name is hillary unger. let me tell you one more thing before we cut off. you would think of the 121 people charged with murder after
