president bartus told us that he would bring comp to the country, but so far, he's only brought more lawlessness and chaos. right now, democrat lead safeties are under siege by rampant crime due to the left's open embrace of blm's radical agenda of defending and demoralizing the police. now that it's clear runaway crime isn't an election winning platform, democrats are actually attempting to paint the g.o.p. as the real cop haters. >> they are the ones actually defunded the police by $1.9 trillion, they voted against the supplemental for -- >> let's talk about who defunded the police, and emergency relief plan for cities that were cash strapped and laying off police and firefighters, it was the republicans that objective. >> this rising crime is not the fault of the movement, it's the fault of the police. >> judge jeanine: if we had a

real press corps, they would lambaste them cuts for making ludicrous claims. instead, they are trying to shield joe biden from the blow back. to "the washington post," so-called fact-checker rights republicans keep trying to tag biden with being part of the dictaphone to the police movement. that simply false. it might and wants to boost federal funding to allow for the hiring of more police officers. he said that during the campaign, and then fulfilled that pledge in his initial budget proposal. he has been entirely consistent. biden has been so remarkably consistent that the largest police unions endorsed donald trump last election. while biden may -- his actions speak louder than words. he appointed two defunded the police acolytes to top positions in the justice department.
7:03 pm
first, kristen clarke who wrote this just months before being nominated, quote, defund the police, but be strategic. one of the best ways we can honor the legacy of george floyd is by putting in place reforms that reduce the footprint of police officers and communities. that's almost verbatim what biden's other radical doj appointee told congress last summer. >> a new paradigm of a look safety. not just changing policing practices and culture, but ultimately shrinking the footprint of the criminal legal system, including police and black and brown people's lives. >> judge jeanine: here's something else the media wants you to memory holds, it's democrat cities that defunded their own police department. >> people say, you defunded the police. i said, how do you think our current system is working? >> the reality is, we can't rely on the police to provide public

safety, that's a 1990s version of public policy. >> you cut -- >> we are reimagining public safety together with our police department. >> judge jeanine: it's and me cities where you have seen the most brazen criminal acts. just yesterday, philadelphia police were actually fired upon while trying to rescue a 19-year-old gunshot victim had been hit in his chest. last summer, philly cut $33 million from its proposed police budget, murders are now up 36% from last year. and then there's the shocking story from oakland where armed robbers, armed robbers attempted to hold up a newsgroup as they interviewed the city's chief of violence prevention. this came just hours after
7:05 pm
oakland's police chief railed against city officials for slashing his budget. >> not having resources made her city less safe. saturday night, a scene where young men lost their lives. a lady yelled out, do something about it. without the resources, it makes it challenging to make open cities. >> judge jeanine: oakland's murder rate is up 19.1%, apparently those are acceptable losses for democrats. they are only now blaming republicans for their own policies because it suits their electoral needs. next time there are mass blm protests in the street, they will backstab law enforcement without a second thought. i don't believe me? long before biden decided he supported police officers, he was pandering to the blm

7:07 pm
defunded the police, they are the ones screaming, defund the police actually defunding the police and in reality they hate the police. it they kiss the rear end of criminals like george floyd, not saying he deserved to die, but the guy wasn't jesus christ. they pop up all of these thugs that are getting killed by police, in many cases justifiable, and they want to say they support law enforcement officers appeared to be radically and how they talk is an example of how you don't support the law enforcement officers. you can say you can add to the budget, but we see what you've been doing, and it's not acceptable when it comes to boosting the morale of law enforcement and changing the criminal behavior that's happening in our country. >> judge jeanine: sergeant mullins, it's like jiu-jitsu. if they are saying the american rescue plan -- although biden never said there was never any money in it for the police may be somewhat hypothetically could have used that money for police -- they are claiming now that it's the republicans. what's your experience in new york city with this?
7:08 pm
>> janine new york city, new york, state is a democrat run the state and city council we have mayor de blasio, probably the worst mayor in american history. we are dealing with nothing but democrats here. i've been doing it nearly 40 years in the nypd, and were getting no support from democratic elected officials in the state, absolutely not. at the nypd is down 2,000 police officers. we've had four people shot tonight since 7:30 on the streets of new york. it's constant in the city of new york, times square has had multiple shootings in the past three months, and it's having a huge impact to crime across the country. i've spoken with law enforcement officials across all cities, and they are not getting any support from democratic elected officials. they won one of left staunchest operators is congresswoman congresswoman cori bush. she sent these tweets mirroring our officers. when people in crisis need help,

calling 9112 often becomes a death sentence. it's time to respond by transforming our approach to public safety. we are not just cheating one federal health responders union, we're going to plunge them in cities and towns so that every community can have an alternative to police when they call it spirit of brandon, is this what communities want? >> anybody that votes for her should be a shade above themselves, look at what she's saying, she's creating an environment that's destroying inner cities, the black community, the very commut they are championing, they are causing the most death. also you this, this is the playbook of the democratic party. they create chaos and confusion ends they come in and try to be the solution for the problems that they make. if they want to replace your god with their government. they want to replace your police department with the federalized police department.
7:10 pm
it they don't care about american citizens. people should be seeing this, it's clear as the sun, what we have leadership from the democratic party is the president, all of the people that are working in the private sector in these areas, they are pushing anti-police rhetoric. as a result, we see the numbers going up out of control. >> judge jeanine: sergeant mullins, democrat congressman keane jeffries is the one he's trying desperately to do damage control over the surge in violence over biden's watch, because they know they're in trouble, they know what happened in the last election, they lost seats. to take a listen at what he says. >> president biden recently announced an effort to try to make sure that we can break the cycle appeared to to invest in communities that are experiencing increases in violee in part connected to drug addiction, and in part connected to poverty and lack of hope. at the same time, cut back.
7:11 pm
>> judge jeanine: it tells you how unserious the left is about dealing with this problem. >> dealing with it from appointive appeasement, not from the point of enforcement. the gun violence on the streets, it wouldn't make a difference how many of us we make, no one being incarcerated. we have the revolving door of justice. it will rock right out , they refused to prosecute criminals in new york city. it really does make a difference until people start doing their jobs. >> judge jeanine: i think people need to understand where this is coming from, clearly from the left. thank you so much for being with us tonight. while crime runs rampant in the streets, democrats focuses on targeting trump supporter's with a new january 6th committee. yesterday nancy pelosi unveiled legislation to create ones that would have subpoena power, and no and date.
7:12 pm
in other words, this committee would have free reign to harass and vilify pelosi's own political opponents. here now is dinesh d'souza, host of the dinesh d'souza podcast, and gregg jarrett, fox news legal analyst. this just shows that the republicans who voted against the original january 6th commission were correct, this is going to be used as a political call. what is it that you need to know at this point? >> i don't think this can be seen as any kind of genuine investigation or impartial inquiry. i think what's happening is the democrats narrative about january 6th, which they began to put out as the event was occurring -- this idea that it was a seditious attempt to overthrow the government, it was a riot, it was akin to 9/11 or the oklahoma city bombing. they've got all of the statements made by mayor goes, made by merrick garland, the
7:13 pm
attorney general, made by biden himself, the worst violence since the civil war. as we learn more about january 6, 1 after another, these lies are beginning to collapse. the only -- there was no people in the capital who took weapons with them, the only shot fired was fired by a capitol hill police officer into the neck of a trump supporter, there were all of these lies about bryan's technique. they know this, their narrative is falling apart, and this task force is intended -- >> judge jeanine: the amazing part is the capitol police officers who shot ashley babbitt, we still don't know wasn't name, we don't know anything about it. if the only person who was shot was shot by a capitol police officer. anyway, gregg jarrett, your take on that? >> nancy pelosi politicize is everything, this is no different. they called this a partisan
7:14 pm
commission because it is, pelosi picks all the members. she said, i might pick one republican, og, how generous. this is a charade appeared as a consequence, it will have zero credibility. as you point out, it's unnecessary. we watched what happened on january 6, there is great surprise there. people breached the capital, committed crimes, they are being prosecuted as they should. we're not going to find out anything terribly new here. third, it's redundant that the house and senate already investigated it. in nancy pelosi's twisted mind, no dead horse would be unbeaten when it comes to the great villain donald trump. we knew what this is going to look like, it's going to be blather central, they will call a few witnesses who will be lucky to get words in edgewise, and said the members of the committee will prance and preen in front of television cameras with over with over-the-top outrage over what happened on
7:15 pm
january 6th. please, spare me the fake hysteria. in the end, by the way, they will produce a report that nobody reads. >> judge jeanine: what's amazing though is that everyone who is involved on january 6th, who has been identified as being prosecuted. everyone, it appears, as these black lives matter movement, the organization, people were being let go left and right by prosecutors. the different in the ways they are being handled is stunning. if you're on the right, you get prosecuted. if you're on the left, you don't. i want to bring up one of msnbc's favorite for the purchasing committee. >> this is important that nancy pelosi says this is a patriotic duty. this is something we do because we love the constitution, believe in law in order, and
7:16 pm
that would be immensely strengthened if he was to put liz cheney and adam pesek are on the committee. >> judge jeanine: adding to trumps most rabid haters of the committee, does that do anything to make the committee more legitimate in the eyes of the american people, who are not stupid? >> i think the thing that we really need is full footage of january 6th. the government has it, but they don't want to release it to. what they've been doing is pulling out little snippets and giving them two favorable people in the press to parade. hey look, this guy's yelling at a policeman. this guy used an obscenity. very often, if you get it a large picture of what happened, you see that this poor guys getting teargas thrown at him, and so naturally he shouts. the government is editing the data that's being made available to the american people. we don't need another slanted commission, we need to get a better look, a more up-close
7:17 pm
look at recorded evidence that exists of which the government is withholding from the defendants of january 6th and from the american public. >> judge jeanine: thank you so much. do county and the democrats care about the origins of covid? neither were present during today's hearing run by republicans attempting to answer that question. two of the congressman with front row seats are here next. plus, as he left once again ignoring the signs to push renewed lockdowns and mask mandates? we will explain, and if in a few moments.
