deported are actually being invited, literally invited by president biden to come back into the united states. >> they are being invited to come back, they are looking at donald trump, he just enforced the law. he was right in the way he was doing it, he was enforcing the law. president biden stepped in and says we are not going to enforce the law and assumes things will turn out right. what happens is chaos when you don't enforce the law. these border patrol agents are so good at what they do they are not going over the top, they have families, they care about people and compassionate but they care about american law. if there's anything we can stand for around the fourth of july, the most basic principle, the law is king in our country, the founding principle of our founding document, we need to enforce the law. i stepped up and said i'm not going to allow any more dhs folks to come through in the process of selection and confirmation, i will block every one of them until they start enforcing the law and get the border done and stop having them guide pieces, put the fence up. we already paid for, get that

advocating safety measures like social distancing, masking and proper ventilation. they want to force non-fda approved vaccinations on kids and then force them to mask up and socially distance anyway. that is that science. it is another form of child abuse. the professor of medicine at stanford university, the teachers union, do they look at the science, they are supposed to be the party of science but i don't see them having those decisions given by science. >> the last year we've seen moves by the teachers union kept schools closed in many states, in my home state of california my children for a year and a half admissible in person schooling, certainly not normal schooling. florida kept schools opened despite teachers union suing to keep them closed. what we have doesn't make sense from a scientific perspective because teachers already vaccinated, they are not

endangered by the students, the students themselves are giving these families forcing them to make a decision about a vaccine that may have had hesitation about especially given evidence about myocarditis in young people with the vaccine and we are going to take schooling away for another year. it is just wrong. undermines trust in public health and in vaccines like mandated rather than give good information about it. >> these things aren't even yet approved for the youngest children. i want to get your input and take because business studies coming out about carbon dioxide problems, the problem with children wearing these masks even after just a few minutes, it is impacting these children, isn't it? >> it is.

a fantastic study recently published in the medical association where they measured wearing masks in children for just a few minutes concentrates the carbon dioxide and that can have lots of negative consequences on children. if you've ever worn a mask for a while you get a headache, that's probably the reason concentrated carbon dioxide. you and experience in the pandemic and imagine doing it to children wearing it all day long. the evidence on masking children is getting worse and worse, i don't know why we do it. it is seeming like a form of child abuse. jason: even on airplanes one of my pet peeves, i have a granddaughter and she's 3 years old, the idea that she has to wear a mask for hours on end on an airplane which is supposed to have the cleanest air on the planet. >> it does, i don't understand it. masking a 2-year-old or 3-year-old really is -- it doesn't even -- if you have a 3-year-old you know they don't keep the masks on very well because they fidget with it.

is can probably -- you do some great work, appreciate your perspective. have a great and wonderful independence day. let's turn to the massive crime waves sweeping american citizens claiming lives including the lives of children, last night in chicago just last night where the violence is spiraling out of control a 1-month back baby and a 9-year-old girl were shot in the head. both are in critical condition. in st. louis four children were shot and wounded within an 8 hour period and this comes as the state of california releases shocking crime statistics for 2020 showing a 20% increase in child murders. that's knowledge on all california saw homicides explode by 31% just last year's state and local politicians cave to the pro crime agenda of the black lives matter organization.

joining me is heather mcdonald, senior fellow at the manhattan institute and author of the war on cops. these are children and in some cases babies, being shot. why are the democratic leaders were running these big cities making this a priority. their policy prescriptions are not getting it done. >> it is absolutely horrifying. the press doesn't give a damn about black lives, the democrats don't give a damn about black lives, the only time they care is if somebody is shot by a cop. this carnage to went on last year, there were 4 dozen black children gunned down in drive-by shootings, i don't know a single one of those deaths protested by a black lives matter activist. the media ignores it because it doesn't fit their narrative. cops are demoralized, being assaulted at record rates, there has been a 91% increase in ambush assaults on officers this year and are being told

lot of american homes. jason: can you try to dc for this? the idea that defunding the police empowers the police. can you try to explain this to us? >> defund stephanie and see if she feels empowered and enhanced. this is orwellian logic, the fact is we are living and experimental we tried it. whether or not an agency defunded the police the police are so demoralized, attrition is enormous, cops are leaving the profession in droves because they are being assaulted on the streets and being assaulted psychologically by our president, by our attorney general and the media. we have in essence defunded and depopulated the police department and the result is crime. the democrats and academics that are funding, fueling this hatred believe crime is racist fiction, it is not.
