first family, dr. seuss. theodore seuss was an ardent democrat who died in 1991. he was furiously against fascism. he hated the nazis in imperial japan. he was an environmental conservationist, and his creative vocabulary inspired children across the world to enjoy the pleasures of reading. president biden canceled dr. seuss on the read across america day. so what happened? dr. seuss enterprises. buckled you be an intense pressure campaign led by the conscious kid. a radical left wing education

outlet and announced it would stop publishing six dr. seuss books because according to the conscious kid they contained, orientalism, blackness, and white supremacy. let's examine the specific illustrations causing so much trough. to think i saw it on mulberry street has been canceled because a chinese man is depicted eating with chop sticks. this was described as deeply hurtful. also because the man had the eyed fold, a common feature of people of asian descent. and a man of color with an elephant pulling his cart.

if i ran the zoo, published in 1950 was cancel because a white male was being carried by three asian and he was holding a gun, illustrating dominance, quote-unquote. another picture showed a man wearing a turban with feathers coming out of it. and this was a stereotype said the critics. many people from india wear turbans, so i'm not sure how that's controversial. it would be exotic for a caucasian child halfway around the world seeing that for the first type. there is a drawing shirtless and shoeless african village. i understand why that one is a concern. go beyond zebra, published in 1955 was can he because a man rode a camel.

and that man had a turban and slippers. those slippers are still fashionable in the middle east. the cat's quizzer, are you martyr than the cat in the hat published in 1976, a japanese character was standing next to mount fuji. his face was yellowed to distinguish him from other characters in the book. the critics didn't like that. and native americans were pictured fishing. that is stereotypical of them because it's what they do. i'm not sure what's ratist about that. scrambled eggs supper was canceled because a person who belongs to a culture that wears

turbans, oh, my gosh, wore a turban. and because an eskimo fetched an egg for a white child to make scrambled eggs with. the "new york times" has run dozens of cartoons featuring asians whose eyes look like dr. seuss's drawing. the seattle times, a liberal publication has run cartoons of arabs dressed in traditional arab garb. and cartoons depicting native americans. excuse me, native african. are all these newspapers going to be canceled? of course they are not. so why is dr. seuss? it's about money and power. the main critics driving the

cancellation of dr. seuss books is a group called the conscious kid. the group said they disrupt and fight racism in young children because they say children begin to show pro-white and anti-black bias at age 3. the conscious kid profits in taking down dr. seuss books and in its place sells hundreds of books to schools across the country. they are affiliated with black lives matter, and their books are about kamala harris, and ruth bader ginsburg. the national education association is pushing more progressive books to young students. listen to this. julian is a mermaid. it's about a little boy who

cross dresses. the prince and the dressmaker is another book about cross dressing. rebel without a green card is about an illegal immigrant from iran. we are here to stay, undocumented young adults is also about illegal immigrants. i'm fine with having a wide range of authors and issues, but not at the expense of wonderful authors like dr. seuss and not for political partisan indoctrination. all of this seems to be about destroying cultural and historical frames of reference. and building a culture they control entirely and profit from of course. we give into the liberal mob because they are annoying. we say fine, just shut up. it's how weak parents deal with complaining children. the good parents know how to say

everyone is focused on it because it's so compelling. we cover stories where defendants take the witness stand. >> that testimony will make or break the whole case. jesse: if i was guilty i think i would take the stand because i would be slick and persuasive. i have to ask you a question. when are your liberal friends in the mainstream media going to start reporting on this crime wave fairly. you have people getting knocked out cold. pushes on the subway tracks. and they don't want to talk about it because of bail reform. we have a lot of lunatics out on the streets, they should be getting treatment. we have drug problems and gang
