get groupthink, not sure how that makes anybody smarter or better. there is a huge opportunity, in a competitive world we would like our kids to learn 21st-century skills to be productive members of society. this opportunity cost means for all the work you are doing teaching ideology that might be one side you are spending a lot of time on stem and literacy and those at the skills we think need to be promoted. >> i don't understand why it's not the focus. here's the response from the school association, quote, it's not our practice to change standards with organizations that are not part of our membership and that tells me parents can't have a role in what kids are taught in schools think they should take the place of parents. do you agree? >> i don't agree. a comment was based on what we ask them to do which is to have schools adopt chicago statements which was a free-speech
