delta wave is milder than anticipated. that sounds like good news. has anyone told the politicians? they don't want to hear it. in los angeles officials moved back the mask mandate when covid races moved up so society -- slightly it's hard to even measure it on a chart. they said there was a spike. you are looking at the spike. it is barely noticeable. the question is: do politicians in los angeles know something we don't know? we know certainly that the news media are lying about the actual science to justify new restrictions. in florida a newspaper ran this

hulled. headline. new covid cases double in florida. to show how scary this was in florida, they included a chart that shows an uptick in positive tests results. you are seeing it on your screen now. it's terrifying. those are the test results. but actually, who cares? what matters is the harm. what the newspaper did not include is the chart that shows covid death. i wonder why? because they are near zero. that's the picture that matters. that's the picture from which we ought to be making public health policy. anthony fauci told us the goal was to keep people from dying of covid. that sounded reasonable to everybody. that's why they said we needed the vaccine and millions took the vaccine. now they have taken the vaccine

politicians decided they can't part with the power they got over the last year so they will keep ordering you around and tony fauci will defend it all because he is one of them. >> what has changed is the virus. the cdc hasn't flip plopped. >> tucker: if it looks like we repainted the slogans on the side of the barn, it's just an illusion. no flip flops. in the past year tony fauci went from telling us not to wear masks and dr. fauci need them or to wear 3 masks or you will die or don't wear any masks back to now you better wear masks. now he is telling us he never

flip-flopped on masks. youtube better delete all of the previous videos or we will have trouble believing tony fauci. the bottom line whether you believe fauci or not this is confusing. this administration told us they are in charge of our health and fighting this global pandemic. they are not doing a good job of explaining what the science is. they are doing such a bad job that even kamala harris doesn't know what she thinks. here was harris just yesterday contradicting her own administration's guidance by explaining once you get vaccinated you don't have to wear a mask. see if you can spot the clue that kamala harris doesn't believe what she is saying as she says it. >> people need to get vaccinated. it's the only way we are going to cut this thing off.

nobody likes wearing a mask. she sits between king and god. listen as rochelle walensky tells you covid is killing twice as many children as influenza does. >> it's important for people to understand this is not a benign disease in kids compared to other diseases our kids see. if you look at the mortality rate of covid just this past year for children. it's more than twice the mortality rate in influenza in a given year. >> tucker: you are not supposed to question that. we didn't care to check those numbers. who are we? we took it at face value. but phil who is good at math checked the cdc numbers on what the cdc director just claimed on cnn. he found that the director of the cdc has no idea what she is talking about. the actual numbers from the cdc

website. from 2019 to 2020, a total of 124 children died of covid. from 2020 to this year a total of 213 children died of covid. by comparison the influenza virus killed more than 400 children last year. in fact that was not an aberration. influenza killed far more children than covid has in 5 years. it's not close. assuming that the cdc's numbers on underaged death from covid are accurate. it looks like they are not. in a recent report the cdc itself acknowledges it could be over-reporting the number of children who died from covid. the cdc report saying 2.5% of those who died had co existing medical condition. for children under age 18, it

was over 35% who died from covid had an unrelated medical condition. more than a third of children listed on the record as dying from covid had a co-morbiditty. they might be related to the death of those insurance. -- children. why are we getting so precise about these numbers? these numbers are used to justify putting a mask on your third grader for a year at school. what is the effect on a child of doing that. of breathing cotton fiber 10 hours a day. they are profound. these numbers mattered. for every other age group co morbidities are more race.

joseph allen is a scientist and found that 3 major studies over the past year all found the risk of death to be in the range of 1 in 100,000 to 1 in one million. hospitalization rates for children younger than 12 is around 3 or 4 per million throughout the pandemic. if you need perspective. those are extremely low numbers. a doctor who worked at john hopkins found a mortality rate of zero among children without a pre-existing medical condition like leukemia. those numbers the director of the cdc lied about what the numbers are that her own organization produces. based on those numbers, they are saying kids should be forced to wear masks and take the covid

vaccine. there is no science to back that up. rochelle walensky doesn't care. she is full force leading the charge for more mandates of children and adults. according to rochelle walensky we need vaccine passports to make children people who got a shot can't leave their homes or make a living. >> they are doing it in europe. there are human health passes there. you can go to a disco if you have a health pass. is that something that the cdc would advise here? >> i think some communities are doing that. that may be a path forward. >> tucker: what people are going to protect us against this? this is insane? who will say so? no one so far. the floor is left to rochelle walensky and people like her.

manipulators of data. we need vaccines. everybody should be forced to get one. if there is one message around covid that is consistent from the biden administration from day 1, it's that: get the vaccine and don't ask questions. the biden administration's lackeys in the media push the same thing. what is going on here. the "washington post" explained a progressive case for forced vaccinations. saudi arabia is more progressive than america it says. that's progressive. forcing people to take medicine they don't want to take. the vaccination rate in saudi arabia is far lower than it is in the united states but they are more progressive because

they use more force. in the vaccine works as well as they claim it does, why are so many vaccinated people getting covid. it's not just democrats who flee texas. it's happening to people you know. most of them are fine. not all of them. piers morgan tested positive for covid and a milwaukee brewers's outfielder also tested positive and a woman had to her legs amputated after receiving the second dose of the pfizer vaccine and another person died of coronavirus. why does it happen? we don't know. we are not rochelle walensky and won't makeup stuff. it doesn't mean the vaccine doesn't work. but don't lie to us. it doesn't always work to us. you know people who got covid.

if you want us to have confidence in your medicine tell us the full truth. but they won't. they have been telling us for 6 months this vaccine is perfect. clearly in some cases it doesn't always work. that's not our theory. take it from the guy who created covid. watch this. >> now that we have a delta variant, that changed the entire landscape. when you look at the level of virus in the nose of a vaccinated person who gets a break through infection with delta it's the same as the level of virus in an unvaccinated person. that's the problem. those data are compelling. that triggered the change in the cdc guidelines. >> tucker: the level of virus is the same as the level of virus in an unvaccinated person.

what? what does that even mean? we won't even speculate what that means. if the administration is trying to justify forcing people to take medicine they don't want, maybe they should figure out what they are trying to say and explain it to people. we don't know what we don't know about this vaccine. pfizer's purchase agreement leaked on to the internet. there were quotes like this: purchaser acknowledges the long-term effects of the vaccine are not currently known and there may be adverse effects not currently known. why don't we know? no one is pauseing to ask questions. that's not allowed. nancy pelosi wanly allow. ure -- won't allow it. do masks work?

here in washington, d.c., republicans forced a conversation with the capitol physician on capitol hill. he based his decision to re-require members of congress to put masks on again based on a study that is unpublished based on a vaccine in india that is not proved in the united states. on that basis he decided yesterday to say, okay, we will restore a mask mandate on the house of representatives's floor. our job as representatives of the people is to stand up and represent them. when you say we have to wear masks. we are sending a signal for our country to be in fear. i am watching texas get decimated with opioid and fentanyl. in texas we have a hotel filled
