6:00 pm
the borders to all of us. imagine if you live right there. turns your life upside down. this show is the sworn enemy of of lying, pomposity, smugness and group think. one of our favorite people at fox news is in tonight at 9 o'clock judge jeanine. >> thanks. we love you too. welcome to "hannity." i am judge jeanine pirro in for sean. we begin with a look back from 2 months ago in may 2021. joe biden announced that his dark winter was finally over. he vowed that americans who took the vaccine could remove their masks and return to a normal life. since then 45 million more americans vivid the vaccine. after new murky guidelines from
6:01 pm
the cdc, the biden administration is cracking down on we the people. this include new mask rules in covid hot spots. vaccination mandates for federal employees and maybe a universal vaccine mandate. take a look. >> why not push answer vaccine mandates in states and private >> i asked the justice department if they can do that eely. legally and they can. i don't know if the federal government can regulate the whole country.
6:02 pm
>> you are visiting the capitol building without a mask you could be arrested. this response from it a congresswoman. >> we are socially distanced from anybody. i have had covid and 2 vaccinations. i am wearing my mask inside the chamber but not anywhere else so madam speaker come and get me. >> thanks for joining us tonight. i was imppressed with the line come and get me. she is serious about this. we don't know what the new guidelines are based upon. we don't have any of the data. other than the cdc saying it seems even if you have been vaccinated and had covid, the delta variant is contagious and you may give it to somebody else. what is nancy pelosi doing here and why is she doing this?
6:03 pm
>> well, nancy pelosi is totally off the rails. to advise the capitol hill police that staff and visitors to capitol hill will be arrested for not wearing a mask, she has gone nuts on this thing. i can think of no worse incentive than telling the american people if you are vaccinated and you must still wear a mask. did vaccinations work or not? the cdc guidance they are basing it on requiring house members to be masked up. when you cross over to the senate side there is no covid because masks are not required over. there the cdc guidance. they are basing it on data they won't share with the american people or those elected to congress. but they are basing it on data from another country, on a vaccine that is not made by companies here in the united states which is how we are vaccinated. i don't understand. this is not science.
6:04 pm
it's anti-science. >> this is america. it's not the america we know, but do people in congress talk to each other? do you say to the democrats, she flipped her lid. what is the end game here? what are they looking to do and why now? >> well, they are virtue settling. one thing i learned today which is scary if you are a citizen of the united states and you travel to mexico and you want to come home after vacation, our country the united states of america requires its citizens to test negative for covid 19. nancy pelosi and president biden and chuck schumer talk about spreading verified. a -- spreading covid. along the border they are not getting tested or vaccinated and we don't require them to wear
6:05 pm
masks crossing the border. this is another example of them going off the rails on us. >> just the last question. you have business to do in congress. nancy pelosi told the capitol police if they are not masked you arrest them. if you work in congress she says you have to wear a mask or they will arrest you. how does this play out? >> well, i advised by staff to work from home today. i saw some of the faces of the capitol hill police. they don't feel the same way. they don't want to do that. it's not truth to who we are. we have work to do. she doesn't want to talk about the failures. they can't get a infrastructure package today and wants to raise taxes on american people.
6:06 pm
democrats made everything more expensive. and nancy pelosi is letting her democrat members vote by proxy from yachts. they are not here to do the work of the american people. the sentiment is not the same from her office. >> thanks for be with us. the biden administration is vowing to follow the science. for some reason they won't let any of us actually see the science. the cdc yet to release any data behind the new mask reversal. many cities are full steam ahead with new mask mandates including washington, d.c. which suffered a grand total of zero covid deaths over the last week. now the president of one of the largest teachers unions is flirting with the possibility of
6:07 pm
not opening schools in the fall. watch this. >> kids not being able to get vaccines 12 and under. it's a curveball that says that vaccination is the number 1 gold standard we need to bring back our masks for schools. the bottom line is, we will keep kids safe. we will keep our members safe. we will try to open up schools and try to move through it political bafflefield. >> joining us with reaction. dr. nicole saphier and another doctor. -- dr. saphier, what do you interrupt from what she said. she is giving herself a big out
6:08 pm
in case something is created where they don't want to go back to school. >> well, she said for the schools that can open, that's frustrating as a mother of three myself. there is no reason that schools should not be open full-time in person outside of a local outbreak in that school or community. for her to give credence to that is wrong and criminal. the landscape changed with the delta variant. look to the u.k. and israel and the other places coming down from the delta wave. it's much more contagious and higher viral loads, but we have seen draftuc reduction in severe decease and new cases. the cdc is keeping people in a paralyzed state of fear that doesn't match reality. talking about randy, we have to look at the children.
6:09 pm
if it we look at england who just came down from their delta wave. they had schools open. kids not wearing masks. since the beginning of the pandemic this covid 19 kids are not severely affected by it. any child can get sick but it's low risk of a severe outcome for children. children should be back in school and i believe younger children should not be wearing masks. teachers can be vaccinated and wear a high grade medical mask if they choose. >> exactly. the concept of children who we know are not as vulnerable as adults are and older adults with covid andine the delta variant as dr. saphier said. it's more contagious but not as dangerous as lethal. how do they move that to the
6:10 pm
children who are the least vulnerable of all? >> absolutely. that's what upsets me. we should not be putting the burden of protection on children. the mortality rate is less than half a percent with the coronavirus. under no circumstances should we close schools because of coronavirus. it's the school closures killing our kids with teen suicide and depression and anxiety and substance abuse want . 90% of our teachers are vaccinated. we need to continue to encourage vaccinations. that was the goal in the first place. they should not be shifting the goal posts. that's unacceptable at this point. >> what can parents do about that, dr. saphier? other than move your child to another school? what if you can't afford a private school?
6:11 pm
>> well, you have seen is of the school board meetings and the parents yelling at the principals and teachers. their hands are tied. they have to listen to their local public health authorities. it comes from the governor's office. if you want to make a difference, get on the phone and talk to your governor. it is up to the governor what the local cities and schools are doing. if a local public health department is saying they have to wear masks, it will be difficult for a school to make any other decision. if something goes wrong, they would have should sort of liability. you have to get on the phone to the governor's office. the cdc has to get back to a normal level of risk. children have more chance of getting if a severe car accident driveing to school than they do from covid 19. keep it in perspect.
6:12 pm
>> yes, i am not so sure about the liability issue -- with children in masks, are there any exceptions at any of the schools that you know of to exement kids from wearing masks like asthma? they dot for religious exementions in colleges. -- go ahead. >> we need some alternatives. if a child already had covid and they have protection through antibodies they don't need to wear a mask. they are protected. there are children that have allergies and may have allergic reactions. and understand the risk and the benefits. right now the benefit is children must be in the classroom.
6:13 pm
it affects them mentally and physically. that's the most important thing. we are causing a detrimental impact on the children by not having them in the classroom. the risk at keeping them at home is more derimental than having them in the classroom. >> as the biden administration quotes more lockdowns. migrants many affected with covid pour across the sournd. -- southern border. two whistleblowers are accusing the biden administration of covering up a covid outbreak among migrant children. we have a syndicated host and dave ruben. dana, tell us about the whistleblowers. >> two whistleblowers who are
6:14 pm
government employees, they were asked it lie on behalf of the administration concerning the infection rates of people who are illegally entering at the southern border. the migrants children taken to fort bliss. we have a problem in texas with these same individuals. you don't know if they are tested. these two said the infection rate is worse than being reported in the media. when they came to the end of their time working with these kids they were asked to sign off on a happy little picture of what was really happening there. infection rates were out of control and people are getting sick. it was not being managed. judge, this is what angers me so much. the government right now is trying to cast dispersions on
6:15 pm
the character of millions of americans who are vaccine hesitant due to a lack of transparency. now you have government employees saying that the government was trying to make them lie to the public about what was really happening with the infection rate. this is pretend theatre from the administration. this administration cared about getting the delta variant under control they would be at the border shutting it down. >> no question. dave ruben, the issue is we knew from the beginning that biden didn't want anyone to see what was going on in these crowded rooms with 10 times as many as people as they should have. you would think the government would be concerned because border patrol is getting sick and taking it home to their families. they are bussing them and flying
6:16 pm
them. they are infecting everyone. does the government not care? >> no, the government doesn't care because the government knows it can get away with this with allies in the mainstream media. it will only be covered on fox or podcast and youtube channels like mine. we cared about kids in cages when donald trump was president. suddenly they were not cages and 10 times over crowded and no social distancing and people not wearing masks. we see all of these people pouring into the southern border. they are not just mexico. they are from haiti and all over the place. without masks and no social distancing. there is no lie at this point that is too big for the administration, for the
6:17 pm
democrats or the mainstream media. they will keep gas lighting us. whether it's covid or the border or anything from bret kavanaugh is a rapist and jussie smollett was lynched they will keep lying. >> dana, you have governor abbott saying he will use the national guard to assist in making arrests. i am not so sure he has jurisdiction over what to make an arrest for. >> well, at the very least he should be able to direct law enforcement in texas to not load people infected with corners and the delta variant on to buss and plains and taking them throughout the republic of texas. mayor garland said it's dangerous for abbott to do this.
6:18 pm
-- planes. the biden administration only pretends to care about the spread of the variant. they have no problem with people coming in at the southern border. people want to get by the mask mandate, just go down to the southern border and come back in. then you will be totally fine it. >> yes. dave, the fact that non-government agencies or offices like catholic charities are sending these people into hotels and they go to a restaurants and infect everyone at the restaurant. there is dereliction of duty. we can't stop it. >> well, of course it is. but we are just watching our trusted class in america collapse. fauci says one thing one day and the next day something opposite. the media fuels it. there is so little trust in our institutions that i don't how we
6:19 pm
get past it. if you want to know if this is a made up problem. a lot of people would love to get out of canada in an endless lockdown. do we let people walk in from canada? i don't think so. why let them walk in the southern border. >> thanks for joining us tonight. coming up ari fleischer and charlie hurt will react to another week of biden gaffes. it's very entertaining. stay with us. introducing aleve x. it's fast, powerful long-lasting relief with a revolutionary, rollerball design. because with the right pain reliever... life opens up. aleve it, and see what's possible.
6:20 pm
aaaand welcome back to guess the price. sal. what do you do? oh, i'm a retired postal worker. fantastic. are you ready to play? oh, heck yeah. ok johnny, tell him about eargo. these top of the line hearing aids from eargo are straight out of the future. they're rechargeable and virtually invisible in your ears host: ok sal, how much do you think they cost? oh gee i don't know... um er $5000? well, actually for you they don't cost anything holy heck. that's because federal employees, retirees and their families get these life changing hearing aids at no cost. holy heck and you don't need to visit a doctor because they ship right o your home and they come with lifetime remote support. convenient right? heck yeah..... heck yeah heck yeah eargo 5 is here. our latest device that allows you to personalize your hearing experience.
6:21 pm
6:23 pm
6:24 pm
an 18 wheeler semi-truck am take a look. >> anyway. i drove an 18-wheeler, man. >> the only problem there is no evidence he ever did. the white house claiming that biden did ride in an 18-wheeler in 1973. but of course, it getsine worse. -- getsine worse. biden confused donald trump and barack obama and could not remember the 3 reasons he ran for president in the first place. take a look. >> so i was running for three reasons. one to restore the soul of this country. secondly to rebuild the backbone of the country. hard work and middle-class folks who built this country.
6:25 pm
the president asked me to number charge of managing that piece, then president trump excuse me. that was the last president. any at this time way. president obama when i was vice-president. >> joining me with reaction ari fleischer and charlie hurt. ari fleischer, do you believe the president when he said he used to drive an 18 wheeler? >> [laughing]. he used to be a race car driver too. the problem is when he is not plaggarizing he is lying about himself and doing it forever. i just pulled this up. it's so easy to find. arrested in south africa and finished in the top half of his law school class. got an academic scholarship.
6:26 pm
not true. said he was the first in his family to go to college want not true. -- he said he pin a navy star on someone who doesn't want it. not one sentence in that was true. he said he got his start at a historical black college delaware state. he didn't go. there. he is a serial liar. >> the thought of him sitting down with putin. he doesn't know what he is talking about. what do you think those guys are thinking sitting across the room from him? >> i think they are probably very relieved they are dealing with this it guy now instead of the last guy. i wonder if after 4 years of one of the most consequential presidents in modern times accident it's like the swamp is
6:27 pm
back to make the argument it doesn't matter who is president -- even this guy can be president because he says the dumbest things and it doesn't matter. it does matter when he sits down with the leaders of china or russia or the european union. it's an embarrassment. the real thing that is strange about joe biden. joe biden has been at this for 50 years in which the politics for 50 years. running his mouth for 50 years and running for president most of that time and he is really bad at it. he is terrible at it. he doesn't know whether he drove an 18 wheeler. the white house said it was a school bus. if he doesn't know the difference, would you let this guy be in charge of anything? then hey says things like the freudian slip. he doesn't even know what that is. the most basic thing.
6:28 pm
when you start off to list three things, you are supposed to always list three things. that's my point. he is so bad at it. he should have gotten out a long time ago. >> the shame is when he is talking about the three things, when he got into the race, nobody thought he could win. the plan was he would win. ari fleischer, you trained enough politicians. those three reasons, why do you want to run for this? the guy doesn't past the basic fundamentals and no one in the media cares. what is your take on him? >> well, this is what bothers me so much. a president about to turn 79 and questions should be raised about his mental health. you watch him in a speech in the news conference today.
6:29 pm
he can be sharp. no question about it. he can go back and forth with reporters and give lucid answers. but when he gets things wrong too. there should be a scrutiny. the press should cover it. the mainstream media has seen fit to give him a total pass. they don't hold him to account when he makes up lies about himself. they just chuckle. they move on to the next pro-biden story they write. why do they have to protect and cover from him instead of draw attention to his frailties the way they would any other president? >> the idea of joe biden coming out and saying what do you want if he is building back better and everything is great again. he blames everything on trump that he doesn't think is good like obama blamed everything on bush. i don't remember the republican presidents doing this. blaming them on the democrats
6:30 pm
before them. although i could be wrong. i don't know. when joe biden comes out and says i am not supposed to take any more questions, he still can't stop saying that. they must spank him or something when he goes back from a press conference. >> well, that's the one part about being a politician he is very good at. very good at blaming other people for his mistakes. ari fleischer put his finger on something important. the fact he can be lucid is almost more of a problem offure don't know if you are getting lucid joe biden or insane joe biden -- that makes it more frightening. it raises the question: if he is all over the place in terms of his mental abilities and his ability to be with it. then who is actually in charge when he does lose his mind? is there somebody there?
6:31 pm
who is that person? this is a free country where we elect our leaders. we get to pick our leaders and know who is in charge. right now we have no idea who is in charge when he is behind closed doors eating ice cream and talking about a fantasy of driving an 18 wheeler. it's alarming. >> how does he become lucid? thank you very much. after the break, congressman michael will introduce a bill to provide for transparency in hunter biden's shady business dealings. next a full break down and laura trump here with reaction as "hannity" continues.
6:36 pm
to "hannity." it was another day of controversy for hunter biden. his art show continues to raise mounting ethics concerns. experts saying these amateur art pieces expected to sell for $500,000 are overprized and a florida congressman will interviews a bill to provide transparency to hunter biden's secret business dealings. he joins now with the latest with fox news contributor laura trump.
6:37 pm
congressman, congratulations. they said it's all fine. kudos for thinking of a bill. what will it do? >> hunter biden is an artist. he is a con artist. that's the type of artist he is. let's are review his gallery corruption. exhibit-a, burisma. hunter biden on the board of one of the most corrupt countries in the country. exhibit b, china flies with vice-president biden on air force 2 and 1.5-billion dollars invested with the central bank of china. do this day, judge, an equity holder in the chinese nuclear group.
6:38 pm
and exhibit-c, this corrupt new art business. enough is enough. get to the bottom of it. it bill would force disclosure. i want to know who is circumventing the and getting to the white house this art. >> he seems to be an expert at bringing in money and the laptop which was his. he didn't deny it. give 10% to the big guy. i could not help but think how the left tried to make every day hell for president trump. what is your take on how this family has been able to get away with it? >> well, all of it is a shame and a sham and terrible for america.
6:39 pm
congressman walt z's bill is a great idea. in america you have to force transparency in the biden administration because no one knows who is buying these art pieces. i didn't need the experts to tell me they were overprized. for future non-dependents of presidents, it will force them to disclose their financial information. this is the one kid that can't behave at recess so the whole class gets punished. it will be nice to know what is happening behind-the-scenes. we know that hunter biden was dependent on joe biden and his position in government for many, many year to billion dollars of profit for the biden family. hopefully we can get to the bottom of this. he had no experience that got
6:40 pm
him at job the burisma. that was because his dad was vice-president. getting money from china and russia because his dad was vice-president had nothing to do with his skill set. it would be nice to get to the bottom of what he is making money for. >> congressman, i don't have a lot of faith in the department of justice getting to the bottom of anything. he is right. we need to get to the bottom of it. i don't know that the doj will. what are the chances of your bill getting passed? >> well, i agree with you on the doj. the fact that he was under investigation during the 2020 election and the doj decided not to reveal that. the american people deserved to know that before they cast their votes. i don't think we see this to move until we fire nancy pelosi
6:41 pm
in 15 months and send her back to her ice cream in california. when we do take the majority we are going to get to the bottom of these business dealings from the house of representatives. what i want to know is what kind of businesses are the chinese directing hunter to give them access to? the chinese communist party is not giving him a billion dollars to buy a shoe string factory in michigan. they want robotics and art -- artificial intelligence to dominate the united states. i think there is a lot more shoes to drop here. >> i don't think there is can any question there are a lot more shoes to drop. the last question to you, with respect to hunter biden and the
6:42 pm
sale of this so-called art, do you think we will ever be able to find out? let's assume the bill doesn't pass. will we ever get to the bottom of that or will they shovel in millions through the funnel called art? >> unfortunately we probably will never know. with the biden family it's cover-up after cover-up and help from the dnc and the mainstream media. we will never get to the bottom of this. unfortunately it's tissue for perk. what a bad precedent something like this could set. it's frustrating to see because as you know, as i say and you hear from our family, when my father-in-law was president, we went out of our way to make sure there was full transparency. we didn't have to do it but paid every dollar that any foreign entity paid for a trump priority
6:43 pm
back to the united states treasure. they still came after us and still continue to come after president trump. the prosecutors in new york are disgraceful letting criminals going and going after donald trump and the trump organization for nothing. it's outrageous. >> it's hard to recognize this country as america. after the break, a nationwide crime wave, liberal leaders are now calling for more police. you don't want to miss it. [ heavy breathing ] allergies with nasal congestion overwhelming you? breathe more freely with powerful claritin-d. claritin-d improves nasal airflow two times more than the leading allergy spray at hour one. and looting and some neighborhood became autonomous zones where police were not allowed. the seattle mayor called it a summer of love. now after a year of violence, the mayor is desperate for help on the streets. she is not the only one. the washington, d.c. mayor also want to hire more officers after several high-profile shootings in her city. that should be welcome news to the metropolitan police chief who said this last week. >> [muffled audio]. >> sir, that's where we are. [inaudible].
6:49 pm
>> joining us now fox news contract leo terrell and dallas police sergeant and tommy. everyone, to what do you attribute and i will start it with the sergeant, it turn around? do you think these democrats who believe in the summer of love or defunding police just now realized it's not right? we have to get police back on the street? or is this just politics before 2022? >> it's all politics before 2022. that's the reality. we have seen a tremendous amount of violence in these cities. our officers are faced with unprecedented hardship dealing with violence. a lot of cities we have seen 15% increase in the murder rates. the bottom line is they are playing politics with police
6:50 pm
officers. i am tired of them holding this over our officers's head. they are trying to go home to their families and live like regular people. they can't because they have limited resources. these politicians are taking more and more. now they want to dangle a carrot in front of their face saying they want to give them money. that's not enough. we are already short. giving them new money will only help fill a little gap of the shortness that was already there to begin with. >> exactly. tommy, when we got durkin and the summer of love nonsense last year. she was saying that when the zone there were fires and 1or 2 people were killed. what does she realize now she didn't realize last summer? >> well, judge, democrats are like over-grown toddlers. they break something and they
6:51 pm
act as though they don't know how it got broken. this is what happens when you placate to blm for the last 5 years. this is what you will get. lawlessness in the streets. it's not enough just to hire more officers. you have to stop demonizing the ones you have left and officers in general so you have men and women willing to step up to serve and protect their community. the democrats are receiving private protection from the american taxpayers in their cities. but they are not using social workers. they are using security details. they place their security over the american people. it's enough of this. end the culture of lawless not and stop demonizing officers and stop coddling criminals. >> leo, the thing about durkin, the seattle mayor, she was
6:52 pm
actually a prosecutor. she knows better. she bowed to the political left at the cost to people in seattle. >> you're absolutely right. she bowed to the political left and the left lost its battle. the idea of democrat party sur the argument of defunding the police. the people in those cities are upset and they will lose in 2022. these big-time democratic mayors in seattle, portland and chicago and atlanta and los angeles, they have felt the anger from their own party. that's why they are reversing course. i guarantee you from now until 2022, other than the loud mouth aoc and tlaib and omar, the democratic mayors will support the law enforcement. they are in trouble right now
6:53 pm
politically. >> back to the dallas sergeant, a bulls eye is put on the back of a lot of police officers. they retired and quit. it's going to take a generation i believe for police to get back their -- how can we say it -- their strength and confidence and the society's belief in them. what are you seeing with the dallas police? >> yes, we are also decreasing with officers leaving. we have seen an increase in crime. every city across the nation is dealing with this. dallas is not exclusive to that problem. i think we need to talk about the politics and look at the politicians and people like george promoting anti-police
6:54 pm
agendas. he donated over a million dollars to defund the police that's why i filed a lawsuit back in 2016 against black lives matter because they were inciting violence against the police. in 2016 we lost police officers. lost 5 officers killed in the line of duty if a domestic terrorist attack fueled by the anti-police agenda. they know they are not protected and the politicians are against them and the radical agenda are funding by massive amounts of money. they don't have a chance. i am doing everything i can to make sure we bring attention to these issues and advocate for the police in this country. >> good for you. tommy, you talked to a lot of young people.
6:55 pm
any talking about going into law enforcement? >> i still think there are a number of young people that still want to serve and protect their community. it will take a generation of americans not only proud of their police officers but proud of their country. that will start in the schools. we have to make americans proud to be americans again. >> leo, are you hopeful for the police in america? >> yes. every civilized society has law enforcement. 90% of the people want law enforcement. the democratic party doesn't represent every day american citizens. >> they certainly don't want more "hannity" after the greek.
7:00 pm
unfortunately, that is all the time we have left. make sure you check out my show at 9:00 p.m. eastern. have a great night. laura ingraham is up next. >> laura: hey, judge, how are you? i don't see you yet. all i can say is the metrics and the goalposts very fuzzy after today. not clear where we are going but you did a great job. >> i think everything is fuzzy with this administration but this is just me. this is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. a lot to get to so let's dive right in. masks and mandates forever. that is the focus of tonight's angle. joe biden and the cdc want you to believe that they've changed their guidance on masks because the science has changed.
