1:18 am
this is something that should have been about the medicine and the science. in california there are a lot of pressures from teachers unions and political groups that have an incentive to turn this issue into political one for personal benefit and kids should be off the list. i don't care what is done politically in other realms but when dealing with children, the most vulnerable group of people we have who don't have a voice, we are their voice and we tell them you can't go to school until their parents you have to stay home and take care of these kids because they don't have anywhere to be you are hurting families, hurting kids irreparably for decades to come. >> after la backtracked on keeping kids out of the classroom for what it appears, require all students to participate in weekly covid 19

1:20 am
appropriate time, that makes complete medical sense and common sense, but to broaden that and says all kids need to stay home for a couple weeks or 10 days, guess what that means? we will never allow kids to be in school because you can guarantee once kids are home again they're going to be exposed to covid in a way they wouldn't have had they just been in school so we create this vicious cycle where kids will be tested, some turnout positive, and this will turn into a real disaster for kids where many of us predict this could be used as an excuse to keep the schools shut for good even without there being a policy of closing schools. >> don't know how much more our kids can take. amazing insight. hearing it from a doctor's mouth
