network promoted the heck out of it because it was good for ratings and they are saying no we are trying to protect the network and told chris he can work for his brother for a while and go off the air and we weren't for this week if you weren't for the time you don't let the anchor decide, you pull him off the air once you know the information to be true if you think you are a news organization with any attacks or integrity. this is a cya at this point the cnn executives who are trying to say we had nothing to do with this. this was chris's call. jillian: there are a lot of former cuomo media allies who are appearing to turn on the governor in light of the new information that has come out. why not before this? we've been talking about the nursing home deaths, 15,000 people who died in nursing homes

after the order was put in place last year. there are a lot of questions. let's take a look at this headline from the new york times and this reads andrew cuomo is a control freak we need right now and it says a crisis shows you a person's phone. governor andrew cuomo amused during our conference call with reporters, shows you what they are made of, weaknesses exploded the strengths emboldened. he paused, forgot what he was talking about and seem to have strayed to talking about himself. that was march 16th, 2020. what is your reaction? >> a lot of us, those power point presentations were powerful and will put together and seemed to be disorganized thought process around covid compared to what the white house was doing at the time which when you look back on it all the information governor cuomo was sharing, a lot of it omitted the

fact nursing homes, 15,000 dead because somebody decided it was a good idea to put covid positive patients back among the most vulnerable. that gets you enemy, a $5 million book deal talking about how great you did against covid and we see in retrospect that it was all bs so governor cuomo served his purpose as the anti-trump, the guy who was handling covid great in new york while trump was not doing a good job in washington, turns out it was trump that gave governor cuomo the uss comfort he didn't use or the javits center that he did not use it that led to the nursing home problem and now the sexual-harassment stuff comes out later sandra, doesn't have anywhere to go. almost every democrat in the state wants and gone and once he sees the writing on the wall of the votes are there for impeachment i think he would have to resign when nixon did when he saw the numbers weren't going to add up either. todd: new york times coming out

i can't imagine the reaction if this actually happened but do you think this would be an answer putting unvaccinated people on a no-fly list? >> i don't think that is very sensible. if you're positive for coronavirus that is one thing. but patients who have gone on airplanes when they shouldn't have been, when they should of been quarantined but if you are vaccinated or even if you are not, if you're wearing your mask and have no symptoms and haven't been recently exposed and i don't think it is right to put you on a float no-fly list. we have high-efficiency particulate filters on airplanes that filter out 99% of the germs and viral particles on the airplane. why do you think we have thousands of passengers flying on a daily basis, not everyone coming down with tuberculosis and other airborne illnesses. these high efficiency filters, the focus is wrong. we need to focus on vaccination

and masking. jillian: i am curious as a doctor your perspective on this. we have the rules in new york city going into effect that you have to show proof of vaccination if you go indoors in places like gyms, restaurants and theaters. if other cities follow suit it is still to be determined but with that being said, what if you do have natural immunity, what if you have antibodies? a lot of people i know got covid 19 were specifically told by their doctors not to get vaccinated until at least 90 days after because they had antibodies so what happens then? what would you suggest? >> you are absolutely right. i can understand wanting to go out and eat and go to the movies in the gym in a safe manner, in a safe environment but you are correct. if you just had coronavirus then you have protection, your immune system granted you protection

from natural infection. what if you're allergic to the vaccine, what if you had one dose and had a severe allergic reaction and can't get the second dose and what about the children under the age of 12 who are intelligible? we need some exemptions like you had a test in the past week was negative and/or you're going to wear your mask. that discriminates exclusionary to a lot of people eligible to get the vaccine and that should be taken into consideration. jillian: you mentioned children, do you think when kids go back to school do you think they should have to wear masks in the classroom? >> the data we have right now especially according to the cdc and american academy pediatrics tells us the safest ways to get kids back into the classroom is -- especially if we had the high number of covered cases in the community, massive outbreaks

like you see in arkansas and alabama, louisiana, mississippi we see an increase in the number of covered cases doubled and hospitals that are shortstaffed, hospitals in alabama, louisiana, the nurses, doctors, techs are shortstaffed, strained, being stretched thin. during the peak we are seeing with covid cases it is a good idea to bring masks to protect yourself so children don't give it to their parents but it is important that every eligible adult, person over the age of 12 get the vaccine. jillian: good to see you. thanks for joining us. todd: you try waking this guy up. and major traffic jam on a busy national park day.

to make a change every week we look at it and every week we have the right to make a change as appropriate. todd: somewhat bullish but what was your big take away from the sit down. >> definitely jamie dimon is bullish on the economy. we were talking about the reopening. we have enormous section just on china to speak to what we were just talking about in terms of marco rubio. look, the truth is all of the stimulus being thrown at the economy has meant for the major banks people are not borrowing money. loan demand is low and even though j.p. morgan reported very strong earnings and best investment banking fees they have seen on record in their last quarter, you are looking at a situation where loan demand is actually lower the reason is people are not borrowing. they are, in fact, paying down debt. he believes after a year of this, there will be a lot of pent up demand and people are prime to go. savings rate is up. we seal a lot of spending and

the economy comes back. and shows real growth in the coming year. but, i will say that many of my sources do believe that we have seen peak growth already for the next couple of years and from here things slow down but know that j.p. morgan is bullish. they are expecting a strong performance and they do want people to get back to the office. don't forget they are working in a $4.5 billion building headquarters and that's one issue that they want people back in the office. today we have got another big interview by the way. i'm going to be speaking with the chairman and ceo of m moder. we will get a lot from stephon bon zelle on the variant and where coronavirus goes from here and also this mrna technology they're putting toward not just viruses like coronavirus but cancer and a lot of others they have got an incredible portfolio so we will.
