tv The Ingraham Angle FOX News August 6, 2021 12:00am-1:00am PDT
12:00 am
>> sean: all right, somebody has to do it. the media mob won't. we will. >> the media mob won't, we will. before we go this program a note. tomorrow night at 9:00 pm eastern a hannity special, covid confusion, president biden's pandemic fails, we will expose the left's rampant covid hipparchus, flip-flopping and much more and open borders, all tomorrow night. let not your heart be troubled. here is laura. laura: i am glad you are doing that, confusion being sown in washington dc and i have to wade through the swamp without you. >> burdensome mandates on americans, no testing for illegal immigrants. laura: total lawlessness, time for a new call to action. thank you.
12:01 am
>> great interview with the santos. laura: thank you, see you tomorrow night. this is the ingraham angle from washington. a canadian immunologist was part of the group did the nearly research on the amrna covid vaccine. tuesday night he revealed they missed something significantly she's back tonight with more on that but first a time for action is the focus of tonight's angle. in case you didn't notice democrats love shutdowns and covid mandates as much as they love high taxes and i think it is safe to say many liberals were never happier than when americans were forced by their governments out of the workforce, out of schools, away from church and even away from friends and family. not only was there all the interrupted time to catch all 6 seasons of downtown abby and youtube yoga and planting herb
12:02 am
gardens, it presented, golden opportunity. i emergency cut off for a way to change america forever. of fearful public, they wagered would be a complacent public. interestingly, antilock down demonstrations have drawn massive numbers abroad in france, greece, australia and the uk, but here even when the coven dictates made 0 sense like limiting restaurant capacity your masks on student athletes playing outside there was shockingly scant public protest here. this was much to the dismay of doctor scott atlas. >> there is a total disconnect in the country about what people have is information. my hope is that the american people are less compliant and sort of fearful at some point you have to look at the data, stop being afraid.
12:03 am
these people are damaged but people have to regain their independent thinking. >> independent thinking, that's a novel concept. the biden white house is counting on you staying panicked or being scared or having 0 independent thought, that way they have the run of the place. will the public notice that president biden's education secretary is leaving the door open for more school closures. i want you to listen closely to the words may be disruptive. >> i'm worried decisions being made are not putting students at the center, is going to be why schools may be disrupted, why schools are disrupted because of the politicization of the effort to reopen schools. we have to keep our students safe and educators safe.
12:04 am
laura: i have a question. does randi weingarten send draft remarks verbatim or does she just provide an outline for that guy to parent. the man has the gall to him that schools made disrupted after what they did to our kids for 18 months, that damage was not enough. with vaccines widely available any teacher who doesn't show up to teach in person should be fired period. but it gets worse. >> i am echoing the president's call to action for pop-up vaccine clinics in every school across the country, to enlist trusted leaders in our community to build vaccine confidence. laura: and encroachments on parental rights needs to be met with a vigorous sustained protest from the people who pay their salary. this is no time to be silent or afraid.
12:05 am
think about what president biden has done this week, to fight the supreme court clear directive by extending a moratorium on evictions, rent-free for everybody, totally unconstitutional to take income from landlords coast to coast. don't have congressional approval, doing it anyway. today biden signed an executive order to significantly raise the fuel efficiency standards on us automobiles. he says there is no turning back to phase out gas powered cars. 's goal is by 2030 half of all cars sold in the us will be electric. he's clearly abusing his authority under the decades-old clean air act to satisfy -- we are all supposed to sit back and applaud as our chief executive with the stroke of a pen aims to illuminate an entire american industry.
12:06 am
think of the job losses here not just within the auto industry but all the other industries that support it. and if you think this won't cause significant percentage of manufacturing to foreign sources you have to be smoking something, china already makes most of the electric vehicle batteries for the world and this move intervening in the free market is only going to make matters worse. it is not only democrats by the way that need to hear from you the people, the old republican guard needs to hear from you as well. i'm talking mitch mcconnell, roy blunt, mitt romney, lindsey graham, senator cassidy and others, they all supported biden's 2700 page infrastructure bill that is paving the way for tandem consideration of the $3.5 trillion behemoth budget
12:07 am
bill. hello, inflation, hello higher taxes, and this regulation, new entitlements, and goodbye fiscal responsibility, a total abdication. i'm sickened by what the republicans have done. speaking of application, what is happening at the southern border is worthy of impeachment, there've been more encounters there just this year than the populations of eight us states, governors in non-border states are being kept in the dark. do you know how many migrants have been shipped to florida. are you given any notice? >> no notice, they do not tell us. we have to do investigations but they do fly people in, they fly in unaccompanied minors. >> we've arrived at the point that reminds me of another time in the not-too-distant past when the obama administration was also up to no good. >> this is america. how many of you want to pay for
12:08 am
your neighbor's mortgage who can't pay their bills, raise their hand. president obama, are you listening? >> are you americans listening now? things are worse now than they were. back then our national debt set at $10.8 trillion, today, $28.4 trillion and growing exponentially. it is time for a new tea party type movement to form, to organize and fan out across the country on issues ranging from critical race theory to masks in schools, we are seeing sparks of that. >> this kind of stuff is poison. this will tear this country apart if it becomes a part of our fabric. >> just because i do not want critical race theory talk to my children in school does not mean
12:09 am
that i am a racist, dammit! >> reporter: your power, sympathy of the u.s. constitution magnified for the citizens of this great nation. you have a power. laura: voters in new jersey and virginia in a few months have a chance to push the big spending race wrestling school closing job killing mask pushing politicians back on their heels. the democrats send their activists to washington, conservative sometimes are content to watch there is on tv. can't be the case anymore. the gop should be investing huge amounts of money in virginia and new jersey and conservative activists need to engage.
12:10 am
glenn young was a the governor of the old dominion and new jersey needs new leadership. with the newsom recall this is amazing, the gop has an opportunity to at least make a case why conservatives, sensible political leaders are urgently needed there. tea party 2.oh movement could appeal to frustrated african-americans who don't want to be demonized for their personal medical decisions and also appeal to hispanic business owners who work hard for their american dream only to have lockdowns turn it into a nightmare and suburban women might not have voted for trump last time but now do they want their kids indoctrinated into this poisonous ideology at school and what about urban professionals who are sick of paying high taxes to live in high crime neighborhoods. and evangelical voters who don't want to be told that their faith is not essential by washington bureaucrats or godless governors. time for american call to action.
12:11 am
don't care what you call it what you name it or what you brand it but the principles are all found in our constitution. this movement is where freedom matters, where work matters, where personal responsibility matters, where school matters, where safety matters and where truth matters and that is the angle. one of the few journalists who has been holding the gop's feet to the fire of the infrastructure scam and calling for something resembling a new ht party is the editor at "national review". i was asked some of those early tea party rallies and spoke at a number of them, they were demonized, ridiculed but those people in 2009-2010 made a real difference. what is "happening now" on the ground? >> it is really upsetting what is happening. what is happening is president biden violated his oath of office by deciding he was going
12:12 am
to implement an order on this eviction moratorium the supreme court said was illegal and president biden himself said before issuing it but it didn't pass constitutional muster. his advisers said not only did he kick the tires but double, triple and quadruple checked it and even the limited order had no legal basis. laura: you documented this brilliantly on this show at "national review" and picked it apart. republicans went along with it. 17 republicans, i will say their names night after night because it is embarrassing however we need a movement in this country that stands up across the board against all this unlawful government season of power from the people and we headed into
12:13 am
thousand 9 into 2010, made a difference in retaking congress. what are the chances that kind of movement can be organized again? >> just because the overreach has gotten so egregious and republicans aren't doing anything and one of the things the tea party movement did that was significant was for the first time republicans and members of congress had more to fear from going to washington, spending and rubberstamping new spending, they actually felt pressure to cut spending and return to constitutional principles and now you have republicans rolled by biden and keep in mind the scam keeps getting worse. for weeks and months republican supporting this said the bill would be fully paid for.
12:14 am
laura: i want to show this because it touches on what you mentioned. watch. >> this is paid for. our infrastructure bill is paid for. we don't have a debt. >> this is a bill which is paid for. >> something which democrats and republicans can support. it is paid for and it does help the american people. >> senator cassidy repeated the claim on the show a couple nights ago but the cbo escorted, it is $265 billion off, not paid for. what about the reckless spending on the part of republicans? >> is completely unbelievable and keep in mind all this is is the warm-up act, greasing the wheels for the $3.5 trillion bill that democrats hope is going to do basically intrude into every aspect of people's
12:15 am
lives from birth to retirement. laura: cassidy came on this show and tried to argue that the republicans voting for infrastructure first made it less likely that the $3.5 trillion was going to pass. i didn't want to be rude to him but that is bull, that is the total falsehood he said on this show. he was not telling the truth or he is really dumb. don't know which is the case. is not a dumb man, he is a medical doctor, can't be done but he said it will be more difficult. >> tell that to chuck schumer who says we will get through this bipartisan bill and move to the $3.5 trillion. laura: thank you for writing about this. is tough to follow but president biden walking us through a thought process and extending the moratorium on evictions. >> i got on the phone and contacted a number of
12:16 am
constitutional scholars beyond my own team. you have in this court, i asked the cdc to take another look at it and concluded -- i can't guarantee the court won't we don't have that authority but at least we will have the ability to appeal to keep this going. for a month, i hope of the father. laura: one of those scholars was harvard law professor larry tribe. tribe was among the most deranged russian conspiracy theorists suggest a russian plane crash was purposeful to silence someone who could hurt trump. with that knowledge we present tribe's argument, first this new ban is not nationwide, it affects 90% of the nation and the state of the pandemic gives
12:17 am
the cdc more power. joining me now gw law professor jonathan turley. do these arguments have legal muster? >> know. this is breathtaking. it is like being caught stealing a bmw. meaning the right to steal a lexus. it is not the make of the car. it is what they are saying, we will issue a new order. that wasn't specifically the order the supreme court was talking about a few weeks ago. the court made perfectly clear that this is unconstitutional. the only reason they didn't strike down the order is it was expiring. tribe and i are not fond of each other but it often seems like when the democrats want to lead foot the law the light is always green at the corner of tribe and constitutionality. you can have disagreements as we had in the past or positions
12:18 am
that have evolved but this is beyond the pale. there is no constitutional authority. the president said most of the experts i talked to said it is unconstitutional, but i talked to some experts and they said go for it. then he added, before the courts can shut us down we can get a lot of money out of the door. he's ignoring the fact that that would be an unconstitutional expenditure of money, he took an oath on january 20th to uphold the constitution. there wasn't a condition that allowed you to ignore the constitution for good cause and that is what he seems to be suggesting. laura: to this breaking news, the washington post reporting
12:19 am
moments ago that the biden administration is considering using federal regulatory powers and the threat of withholding federal funds from institutions to push more americans to get vaccinated. the african apply to institutions at long-term fare facilities, cruise ships and universities, potentially impacting millions and millions of americans. this is quite something. >> i wrote a column saying we've had this transition, the biden restriction began with what was called recent consent in the column, he said we will convince people to take vaccine. he convinced me and my family, we took the vaccine but that failed. about half the country didn't take the vaccine so they went to induced consent, ohio offering million-dollar lottery tickets and the president offering $100 if you take the shot and that's not having a huge amount of
12:20 am
success so they are moving to the final stage which is coerced consent and the president said he doesn't want to order federal mandate and instead is using surrogates like a shadow state all these corporations. jillian: withholding funds, he will withhold federal funds from universities if they don't require kids to get vaccinated. is that constitutional? >> there will be a challenge. it depends on how it is done. if they are too heavy-handed it could be unconstitutional but the other problem is he's doing this without talking to congress, things should be a condition of all the federal funds you gave us because they weren't a condition when these bills were passed. laura: all of this is breathtaking, we didn't get to brett kavanaugh and what he did on the conviction issue but a chance to change that now. one week ago in minnesota, a stunning story with a 55-year-old woman was beheaded in broad daylight and this is hardly gotten any attention.
12:21 am
12:24 am
12:25 am
12:26 am
are vaccinating migrants. that keeps a range of people safe. >> people people safe in mcallen, texas where migrants have been released into the city in february, 1500 and alaska. >> it is important to note what is happening in mcallen. there has been -- they signed a disaster declaration involving an emergency shelter to provide a space to mitigate this issue. laura: endless money to build tent cities all over america. that is the press secretary of the white house referencing an emergency declaration, my next guest was forced to enact because of the biden administration's dereliction of duty at the border. joining me is the mayor of mcallen, texas, thank you for being here. it bears repeating, since mid-february there have been
12:27 am
7000 confirmed covid positive immigrants released into your city including 1500 in the past week alone and we are running around to mascara kids in schools as if they were flowing into the united states. what is your message to president biden. >> we are fortunate that those immigrants were not released into mcallen. instead want to the rest of the united states, just recently the ngos did not have the capacity to take care of the rest of the individuals but they've been throughout just two days ago, last week we enacted or i signed a disaster declaration because we need help, we blame, people blame us, it is out of our jurisdiction, place blame we
12:28 am
know where to do it and that is in washington and the president, congress, the senate, whatever they are doing can take care of it and we know the immediate issues we have there is an overflow. two days ago put up emergency tents, we never had to do that before. we have some assistance by the county commission and county judge when we move those tents outside the city. laura: how much is this costing? >> for the seed hasn't been much. we have some federal fundss as we are running out of money and at the end this is not our responsibility. we don't deal with immigration. it is making it difficult to our community, wasting our resources, not just money but
12:29 am
manpower. very difficult. our community is now angry where before we could handle it. we are point it is very difficult. laura: the texts i am getting from friends near you in mcallen, people who work for a branch of the government, they said no, pictures don't do this justice, does not do the outrage of what is happening on the ground justice. the covid positive migrants being dumped into the united states not only endangering your community but people across the country. what about that fact? >> that is what i'm talking about. the immigrants don't stay in mcallen or at least they didn't before but now everybody knows there was a conflict between our governor and the directives from up north from the federal
12:30 am
government and harder to send them out. with the increase in covid positivity from 4% to 6%, immigrants in excess of 15% positive so we can't even move them. we can't handle it anymore. with the stroke of a pen i think it is something watchmen can take care of with the stroke of a pen and we should. >> life under trump, what was that like versus life under biden and mccallum? >> without getting into politics let me tell you 7 or 8 months ago we did not have the issues we have. it is totally different. jillian: we will follow the story. one week ago a man named alexis was arrested after beheading a woman in broad daylight. the crime would be national news
12:31 am
but what was the motive, was he an american citizen, all those questions remain up secured until one minnesota attorney and blogger started digging. scott johnson joins me now. tell us what you learned and why others seemed disinterested in this shocking and grisly story. >> it is a heartbreaking and enraging story as you suggest. i've been working on it for the past week. he made the initial appearance on the murder charge this past friday and in the course of that hearing he said he wanted to be deported to his country. that got my attention. the fact this beheading occurred in broad daylight minnesota on a
12:32 am
residential street got my attention and unbelievably at the time he beheaded his girlfriend, a legal immigrant citizen of the united states who changed her name to america when she became a citizen he was on his way to courts on an underlying arson crime, three felonies, incredibly violent that involved use of a machete he used to be had america on his way to court a week ago wednesday. those things taken together are unbelievable. have we ever had a public beheading in broad daylight, i don't think so. jillian: his immigration status is what? how did he get into the country? >> he entered, he is a cuban illegal immigrant. he entered through el paso in
12:33 am
2007 and by 2012 there were two deportation orders he had wrapped up and ice was not able to deport him because cuba wouldn't take him back. we've been stuck with him. he has been a 1-man crime wave committing crimes the past 10 years. laura: we can forward to more grisly crimes at the border over the last 6 months, thank you for doing this digging, no one else did it, thank you. we brought you an immunologist who is part of a team researching the covid vaccine. they made a big mistake. he's back with us with more in moments. summer is not over yet. get your freedom matters beach towel made in the usa. all of my profits go to all the great mugs but i don't have with me. made in the usa, go to

12:39 am
>> it is becoming a pandemic of the unvaccinated. >> we are seeing an outbreak of the unvaccinated. >> i want to be clear what is happening. we have a pandemic of the unvaccinated. >> the echo chamber but is that true? the biden administration is siding data that 99% of covid deaths, 95% of our civilizations are among the unvaccinated. that statistic is grossly misleading, something the cdc director inadvertently admitted today. >> those data were from analyses in several states january to june and to reflect the data we have now from the delta variance. we are working to update those in the context of the delta variance.
12:40 am
>> a vast majority of the country was unvaccinated for the first four months of the year, the numbers skewed toward those dying and hospitalized being in that category. was the cdc skewing the data. joining me his associate professor of viral immunology who has been researching the covid vaccine. thank you for joining us with part 2 of this interview. is accurate to call this a pandemic of the unvaccinated or those who are vaccinated could also be contributing to the emergence of these new variants? >> it is untrue because -- calling in a pandemic of the unvaccinated. in fact i would argue, it is certainly untrue the flipping of
12:41 am
the messaging to scare people into thinking the unvaccinated are somehow driving the emergence of novel variance. this goes against every scientific principle we understand. the reality is the nature of the vaccines we are using right now in the way we are rolling the mouse are going to be applying the selective pressure to this virus to promote the emergence of new variants. we have to look no further than chemotherapy for cancers and the emergence of antibiotic resistant strains of bacteria. the principles are there. if you have a biological entity transmutation, the sars coronavirus like all coronavirus's is prone to mutation, if you have a biological entity like that and you apply and narrowly focused selective pressure that is nonlethal and do this over a long period of time, this is the recipe for driving the emergence
12:42 am
of novel variances which are vaccines are focused on a single protein of the virus, so the virus only has to alter one protein and the vaccines don't come close to comparing sterilizing immunity. people who are vaccinated still get infected. it is only good at blending the disease. what that tells you is these vaccines and the vast majority people are applying a nonlethal pressure narrowly focused on one protein and the vaccine rollout is occurring over a long period of time. that the recipe for driving -- >> your theory it is the exact opposite, they are trying to demonize and intimidate those who have chosen not to be vaccinated for whatever reason. they are to blame, they should be fund, punished, denied services. >> if anything the unvaccinated are likely acquiring a substantial numbers, naturally acquired immunity which i would argue from an immunological perspective is more protective than the vaccine-induced immunity against novel variance.
12:43 am
>> something the administration refuses to address head on or accept, the idea that you have the or t cell memory immunity to this ongoing virus and that you would not then need a vaccine. >> shocking to me as an immunologist. you are correct. essentially our immune systems actually work, they do respond to pathogens and they do protect us from pathogens and there are published papers, people can look up the paper published in the nature journal, it shows clearly as do several very good peer-reviewed publications, very clearly that naturally acquired immunity against sars coronavirus 2 is very potent, long-lasting and in the context of novel variance, very broad in
12:44 am
scope so it -- we are going to have lots of antibodies and t cells and it targets multiple components of the virus. laura: not just the one protein. >> variants will occur that are going to be able to bypass the vaccine-induced immunity but those viruses are not changing the other components of people naturally responded or protected against. >> thank you, stunning how this is being sold to the american public and demonizing people who chose not to be vaccinated. president biden's lurch toward illegality wasn't made independently. he was coaxed i radical congresswoman in particular. corey busch. what do we know better, the ingraham angle investigates next.
12:49 am
>> above all, represent corey busch get you credit. one person changed things for tens of thousands, maybe hundreds of thousands of people. >> watch out, there's a new squad darling on the block, this one was so effective that she forced the president to just break the law. congresswoman corey busch wheeled so much power it is only fair to ask.
12:50 am
in the smoldering ruins of the ferguson, missouri right. the entire arrest was built on the hands of don't shoot lie she continues to call it her formative movement. >> we decided not to wait any longer if you didn't understand what happened in st. louis, missouri in ferguson. if you didn't understand we are about to show you. laura: she accused the us of being systemically racist. >> the federal government must account for its ongoing role in perpetuating, supporting and upholding white supremacy. laura: she has revealed she doesn't believe in gender. >> i'm committed to doing the absolute most to protect black mothers, to protect black babies, to protect black birthing people and save lives.
12:51 am
>> he claimed january 6th with an inside job. >> you have people on the inside that are planning to harbor the people they are working with who actually sought out to hurt us, you planned this. >> unrelenting campaign to defund the police that center to the top of the democratic party. her platform became a bit awkward after fox news discovered bush spent 70 k in just 3 months for her own private security detail. that always works but when cbs caught up she was unrepentant. >> i have private security because my body is worth being on this planet, private security because they, the white supremacist racist narrative that they drive into this country, so suck it up, defunding the police has to happen. >> for a police officer and author of beaten black and blue,
12:52 am
st. louis expect to see 83% year-over-year increase in police leaving the department. the average resident of corey busch's district, can they afford private security? >> of course they can. this lady is, i could say more words but it is a family show and my parents are watching but corey busch is a completed because, no way in the world -- he represents st. louis which is one of the crime capitals of this country per capita and represent st. louis, claim to represent the black and brown bodies of the industry but don't want them to have security but you paid 75,000 even 100,000 to keep her black and brown body safe while everybody else is struggling, she is a complete hypocrite, defund the police never works, it never will work which it will put people in danger and why is she talking about defunding police inner-city, constituency?
12:53 am
if you look at 2021 not single black person shot by police. there was one in 2020 last time someone was shot by police was in 2015 in her own city. she is lying to the public and needs -- it bothers me how she's putting out a fake agenda. jillian: she has a novel idea about who is really defunding the police. >> they are the ones that actually defunded the police by $1.9 trillion voting against the supplemental for maya millette police. >> the republicans are to blame. it is they're doing. >> you can't find a single republican who said anything about defunding the police. republicans are pro-police, we support police all the time.
12:54 am
you can look at her interview and the things she said, she advocates defunding the police, democrats have consistently advocated defunding the police but when they get caught in a lie what do they do? they divert to white supremacy and the republican party is defining the police, they are completely lying. the funny thing is before i got on when she made the statement that the people that are after her white supremacists is a complete lie, she knows it is dangerous to be out here for anybody, not just because you are a congressperson, it is dangerous, people need support and citizens of this country use law enforcement for their personal security, she understands the risks but she is selfish and the fact of saying i'm the one that is important. my life matters, not yours but mine. >> user show boater and needs to be primary, needs to be defeated and i mean defeated by a very large margin. send a message. thank you. biden is not kidding which have you heard, he's not kidding.
1:00 am
verbal crutch. >> i want to say publicly i have a commitment when they make the first electric corvette i get to drive it. you think i am kidding, i am not kidding. laura: to members of the press keep asking if he is kidding. that is all-time we have tonight. gutfeld takes it from here. >> private security because they, the white supremacist racist narrative that they drive into this country, suck it up, defunding the police has to happen. >> this is into fringe activist, this is a democrat member of congress, a very popular one at that. jillian: you heard it, suck it up, those words from congresswoman corey busch who says she wants to defund police officers patrolling your streets but keeping private security for herself.
