[applause] >> tammy: like a badly written movie. instead, there is now a crisis in confidence in american leadership here and abroad. because the biden agenda is now defined by deadly incompetence, delusional decision-making and down right destructive dereliction. just today, joe biden met with the president of ukraine, whom the "new york times" describes as, quote: unnerved by america's abrupt and chaotic withdrawal from afghanistan. and that he is expected to raise questions about u.s. security commitments. the paper of record for the left also says, quote: it comes in the wake of an event that has caused numerous american allies to question the firmness of washington support. you could also say they are concerned about the firmness of biden's grip in general, more on this later. the message being, sent all over

the world after the president's reckless afghan exit, is that the terrorist are emboldened and that america's adversaries are energized. biden yesterday had the audacity to claim the afghan strategy was an extraordinary success. even as u.s. troops are dead, americans are still strand ed andtaliban is in control. if it was such a success, then why is biden at the same time contradicting himself and blaming everyone? if it all went so well, then why would there be anyone to blame? because, really, deep down, everyone knows, including the president's fiercest defenders, that the surrender to the taliban has consequences far beyond afghanistan. as a new piece in the economist notes, quote: through will power, patience and cunning, a low budget band of holly warriors has vanquished america and taken charge of a medium size country. to muslims who earn to expel

infidels overthrow secular states it was evidence that god approves. the ripple effects could be felt far and wide. and those ripple effects will be felt far beyond afghanistan and far beyond the region itself. and the worst part, we're learning more about how joe biden knew this was coming but rushed for the exits anyway. as an explosive piece from reuters reveals that in a july 2 '3rd phone call with afghan president biden urged the president to, quote: change perception of the war, whether it was true or not essentially urging the afghan leader to go along with the lie that 9/11 afghanistan was just fine even when the facts were staring him right in the face. ask yourself how is that leadership? how is that transparent? and how is that honest? that shocking revelation does reveal the rotten core of biden and the fools now running this country. the focus and obsession is on perception not reality. they are connected only with how something looks on the news not

coming from a mile away. joe biden was never any sort of foreign policy expert. he was never the empathizer or elder statesman that the media wanted you to believe that he was. he is weak, he is reckless, and he has been wrong over and over again. that is what is shocking so many people. and how could anyone really though be surprised? he spent the campaign hiding in its basement. refusing questions. and delivering canned remarks. joe biden was never ready for this job and it's not just in afghanistan. our borders are wide open. inflation is surging, small businesses are still struggling, and american credibility around the world clearly is cratering. if this is success, like biden claims, then what the hell does failure look like? the impact of this feckless, non-leadership, more concerned about pronouns than the actions of terrorists, inspires the menacing left here at home as well. teachers, the teachers union in los angeles, says children lost

and a communications failure making our friends and allies terrified about the future and enemies thrilled and inspired. joining me tonight are former national security adviser and author of "revolution" k.t. mcfarland and security studies group president jim hanson, author of winning the second civil war. i don't know, that might be a little bit too prescient here. let's start here, k.t., thank you for joining me tonight. what i mention here as we lead into this about aspiring our enemies, there is adventurism already. north korea, you know, firing up some nuclear reactors. putin refusing some requests of biden at some point. iran has been kind of strangely silent but we know they are thrilled. tell us what your point of view is here about how this now unfolds when it comes to the metastasizing of this around the world. >> yeah, i mean, i think there is going to be an immediate sense of we are more at risk because of the terrorist situation. but i'm more concerned with what

is on the horizon next. i think it's a cardinal rule of foreign policy that if your adversaries sense weakness and division and distraction, that's when they make their move. i think you seal in the next couple of months, china making a move in the south china sea. the world's most important maritime trade route. i think they will make a move on tijuana. they have already warned tijuana they better not be expecting america to help them. i also think that the russians are going to make a move and they will make a move on ukraine. that's what's going to happen in the near term. and then when president biden folds in every one of these cases and he will, it will convince our allies they may make a special and separate deal not with the united states but with our adversary china. it's not lost on any of these countries that within a decade of the soviet union, failing in afghanistan, and having to retreat from afghanistan, the soviet union collapsed. that's what china and others will be saying to our allies all around the world. america, it's not going to be the leader in the 21st

century. >> tammy: as they found out with the president with the election of donald trump that things can change on a dime here in this country. jim, you know, speaking of the nature of what we're dealing with here, we had a pentagon briefing earlier. where the secretary of defense austin and the joint chiefs of staff mark milley said, you know, well, pretty much they implied that we might be willing to work with the taliban to get rid of other terrorist elements there when the haqqani guy has been assigned to security in kabul and that's an element of al-qaeda. what do you think about that? is that a realistic point of view? >> that is absurd. that is material support to terrorism in pursuit of terrorism? i don't understand how -- you have to ask yourself, what would the biden clown car of foreign policy failures do differently if they were actually trying to destroy the country? the people on his team are incompetent. and as you mentioned in the

opening monologue, none of them have offered to take responsibility for 20 years ever failure, 20 years ever lies and 20 years now that were walking away from weaker than we started. at this point, no one is going to be responsible for this. and i don't think anyone misses the fact that they did this on purpose. biden made this deal by choice. he had already paid the taliban before with obama for boberg dal. no one should forget that they knew they could take him in a deal. they took him for grounding the afghan air force, shutting down bagram. and giving them a clear path to kabul. now we are going to partner with them against their enemies? absurd. >> tammy: that's the kind of thing that i think all three of us would agree and everyone watching this program would agree to whatever you do, if you are a carpenter, if you are a lawyer, if you are a stay at stay-at-home mom, whatever do you in life, you know that's dumb. right? you don't have to go to school or to have letters after your name to know you don't -- you know, you don't partner up with

trained over the past two decades and equipped would be a strong adversary in their civil wars with the taliban. that assumption that the afghan government would be able to hold on for a period of time beyond military drawdown turned out not to be accurate. >> yeah, wow, that was an obvious lie. he said the same thing to stephanopoulos on abc. according to reuters now. you don't want to miss this and it's true. it's not the babylon bee. biden knew that the collapse was inevitable. he didn't want anyone tolls know about it in late july during a phone call with president ashraf ghani, biden told him to pretend like the taliban wasn't ready to retake the country, saying, quote: i need not tell you the perception around the world and in parts of afghanistan, i believe, is that things aren't going well in terms of the fight against the taliban. and there is a need whether it's true or or not there is a need

to project a different picture. joining me now to react is retired army infantry captain and u.s. senate republican candidate sean parnell. sean, i think that this is not like guesswork or rhetoric or hyperbole, that a confession, a recognition that the country was in trouble and asking the president of afghanistan effectively to lie about what was going on, which means also, you will not be prepared because you can't prepare because you're telling people something that's not true. what are your thoughts on this? >> well, it's absolutely unbelievable, but nobody should be surprised. joe biden has been a politician in washington for 50 years and lying is what he does. he said he graduated at top of his law school. that was a lie. he said he had degree three degrees. that was a lie. he said he opposed the iraq war that was a lie. he said he was the first in his family to go to college in a

thousand generations. that was a lie. he said he was a coal minor from pennsylvania. that was a lie, too. that's what this man does. for goodness sake, he said he was in a knife fight with a guy named corn pop. it's unbelievable. >> tammy: when we think back it's unbelievable. lying about yourself, it gives people a hint about your character and your nature. but, now the lies have gotten 13 of our service members murdered. thought lies untold numbers of people in afghanistan will be slaughtered. this is going to be a bloodbath. that is i think, what the american people for some reason have not made the connection yet with who this man is. >> that's right. and he did this exact same thing in ukraine. fired the prosecutor who is investigating my family's corrupt business dealings in your country or you don't get the billion dollars. right? lie about the conditions on the battlefield and, otherwise, you won't get the military assistance. they don't call him quid pro-joe

for nothing. and the most horrible thing about all of this, tammy, the fact that he had to lie means that he knew six weeks ago that things were going to go bad. >> tammy: that's correct. >> yet, he didn't address this strategy. he didn't warn americans in that country to leave. he didn't tell our military. >> tammy: we got rid of bagram. all the terrorist prisoners being released it's almost as though it was by design and we have got to consider the nature of what's happened here and i know it's shocking. i think most of americans are still in shock. but as we get these details, that's what tonight is about, sean. tonight is about the overflow, the lava coming out of the value volcano. great stuff and great to see you again, sean. now, moving on to another crisis caused by this president because this attitude doesn't just stay put in one area. a new report by axios is

claiming that the incompetence biden administration has lost contact with one in three released migrant children. according to data from the h.h.s., nearly 5,000 released migrant children or their sponsors, and we don't know who they are, have not returned this administration's phone calls and are all currently unaccounted for it sound like they are not into the administration to bother to return the call. joining me now is town hall editor, fox news contributor katie pavlich. katie, you have been on the forefront of the border. there is innumerable issues onion done there peal it back another issue. here you have a crisis not just of confidence but of legitimacy when we are dealing with children now what are the reper suggestions of this? >> well, first, i think it's posh to point out that the biden

campaign completely slammed the trump administration for not being able to get in touch with the so-called parents or sponsors of these children that are trafficked here and fold labor issues and so that's the first thing. the second thing is that the administration, the biden administration promised that they would reunite all of these children with parents. we know that is also not true. the third, you have to keep in mind a lot of these sponsors or these adults that these unaccompanied minors are handed over to by the federal government because they had this enormous crash on the border, the vetting process where for these people whatnot sufficient. it was not thorough. there were whistleblowers during the obama administration when this crisis first started in 2014 who were sounding the alarm over the federal government handing over children to sex traffickers and to people who were forcing them labor on to farms, for example. and so here we are, again, with the biden administration with this open border policy that if

you come over here with a child, you basically get to go free and now you have 5,000 children who are unaccounted for. a lot of these spawrns are in the country illegally themselves. when the government calls up to see where they're living and where the children are. they're in the country themselves illegally. therefore they are not answering those phone calls like they are not showing up for their court date when they're handed the ability to come into the country and be released into a number of communities. keep in mind -- >> tammy: you have done the hard work, katie, if we had the media, this is a story that everyone should be all over. these -- nobody knows hot sponsors are. there is no vetting. and we are distributing these little kids to strangers effectively, and that is the greatest country on earth. we are doing that the leadership is doing that. there is no moral ability to defend this at all. >> well, and keep in mind, the biden administration claims this is a humane process. these are humane.

students experienced after liberal shut down in person classes is a total myth. that's according to the head of the los angeles teacher's union. she says kids actually learned some really valuable lessons while locked in their homes. goat, it's okay that our babies may not have learned all their times tables. they know the difference between a riot and a protest and they know the words insurrection and coup. yeah, that's coming from one of the most influential people in america's second largest school district. let me remind you this is the same woman who didn't want funding going to in person learning because it was racist. >> if you condition funding on the reopening of schools, that money will only go to white and wealthier schools that do not have the transmission rates that low income black and brown communities do. this is a recipe for propagating structural racism. and it is deeply unfair to the

students we serve. >> tammy: extraordinary. here now fox news contributor lara trump. lara, do you know what's particularly remarkable about that is we know now of the months if not sometimes over a year lost of not just learning but of social interactions and the ability to understand the world and interact from, one of the largest studies called mckensey found ironically when it comes to that woman's professed concerns that it's kids of color and poor kids. kids that are on the -- the fringes of society that are, of course, are harmed the most in this regard because their parents have fewer resources to deal with other options when they are not in school learning. what is this -- what is this? what can you explain the nature of this attitude and the nature of just really abandoning children is what's happening here? >> yeah, i mean, it is so shameful. and, tammy, this is exactly why you don't put dumb people in charge of education.

you know, this woman cares more about pushing forward woke causes. i'm sure she is a fan of critical race theory. something that teaches our children to judge one another based on the color of their skin, not the content of their color. teaches them to hate their country. she is more concerned about these sorts of things than actually preparing children for future than actually whether or not our children have basic reading or math skills? i mean, this is absolute insanity. she is the head of the second largest city in america. this is her take on what has happened to our nation's children and their education? do you know who probably loves hearing this, tammy? the country of china. let me tell you why? guess who is number one in the world when it comes to reading, math and science? it is china. guess where the united states ranks? 38 in math and 14th in reading. we have already had a lot of

catching up to do. now our kids as you just pointed out have been out of school for a year and this woman thinks that's okay. okay that they don't know basic stuff. >> tammy: lining up confirming what you said kids who have not gone to in person learning they will be less likely to go on to post secondary education. also likely earn less 49,000, to 61,000 less in their lifetimes than other kids who actually had some in person school learning. it is condemning them economically, emotionally, and socially. it's almost like when we have talked about this, that the democrats on the left want this but it is good to remember, isn't it, that these are policies or leftists, they are marxists. they are in to politics. it's not the teachers. i think it's important for teachers who have to be parts of these unions to step up and push back in this regard. wouldn't you agree that the teachers have got to start taking some control here?

>> absolutely. and we are are so fortunate to have so many great tea parties. tea party --teachers. this last year has not been easy on them either. they have to speak up and speak out. it's the politicians who are pushing this sort of agenda forward. why is that? let's think about it. if you want people to not have basic skills so that they can't get jobs, they are fully reliant on the government. that is the ultimate goal of the socialist democrat party they want to socialize america. they are starting with our chirp. tammy the good news is we found through your father-in-law in fact as i mentioned earlier things can change on a dime when we make the right decisions because leadership matters. lara, thank you very much. great stuff. i appreciate it now, many parents are, in fact, fighting back against the left's war on children. they got to add the union into that. in these cases, in texas, a principal was suspended after being accused of promoting critical race theory. meanwhile, in san francisco, this is great news, an effort to

recall three radical school board members has just hit a crucial milestone. and in virginia, the supreme court upheld a judge's ruling to reinstate a teacher who was placed on leave for refusing to use transgender pronouns. here now to react one of our -- all our favorite wabc radio host james golden also known to you as bo snerdley of the rush limbaugh show. this is a very difficult time i'm heartened and inspired by the normals saying wait a minute and actually taking action to make a difference. and, you know, i love it that someone was accused of wanting to promote critical race theory because that's the tone that we should be using in addition to san franciscans. it's one thing to launch a recall, right? they got 70,000 signatures so far in san francisco to get the recall going. what are your thoughts on this? is this the way forward? >> i think in two of the three cases, it is the way forward, tammy. i will tell you the truth.

i'm really disturbed about the texas case because the principle there has steadfast denied that he brought critical race theory into the school. it was an accusation made without any proof and he -- it looks and appears to me, that he may have been denied due process. now, there have been -- and there is no doubt that many liberals are pushing critical race theory in the school. there is no doubt that parents are reacting to it. and finally, confronting these leftists and trying to take control of their neighborhoods and their school boards again. and that's the right thing to happen. in san francisco, right thing to happen. parents in virginia, the virginia ruling is stunning. because what the virginia ruling is saying is let's have a return to common sense. look, you can call yourself whatever you call yourself, but don't make me turn my world view. >> tammy: exactly. >> completely upside down to please you. that is the-that is the tyranny
