war and famine because haiti, as you may know, is nowhere near del rio, texas. it is 2,000 miles and an entire ocean away. these are not refugees, they are poor people looking for a free health care and government services. and you can't blame them for that. instead, you've got to blame the people who created the incentives for them to come, that would be joe biden. since biden became president, about 30,000 haitians have arrived in this country illegally. joe biden says he will not deport a single one of them. what will that mean for the united states, and more imminently, what does it mean for the people who live in del rio, texas? fox news bill melugin has watch this happen for months, he has on the border right now. we are happy to have him. hey, bill. >> hey, tucker, good evening to you. for the past several months now, we have heard the biden administration claim that progress, extreme progress has been made down here at the border, but that is just not squaring with what we are seeing on the ground. we want to show you this

remarkable drone video we shot today with our crew up in del rio. take a look at the staggering footage. what you are looking at here is the international bridge in del rio. we first showed this to you last night. well, it has gotten significantly worse. what you are looking at his sources are telling the upwards of 10,000 migrants waiting underneath that bridge right now after they crossed illegally into the united states. why are they waiting there? well, what i am being told is border patrol old and facilities in the area are completely overcapacity and border patrol agents are completely overwhelmed, there is just no way for these people to go right now. they are free to go, they are and not being detained, they are just holding themselves under this bridge waiting to be apprehended by border control. as you mentioned, border patrol sources are telling me most of these migrants are coming in from haiti, also some from cuba and venezuela, as well. but this is just a horrible situation down there and our border agents need a lot of help. consider yesterday morning. there only 4,000 migrants under that bridge. now i am told it is well over

10,000. so any span of just over 24 hours, those numbers have doubled, and it is not getting any better. those migrants creep streaming across, they just walk across the rio grande on a dam, and more and more are showing up to that bridge by the hour. it is getting worse by the day, literally by the hour. we want to point out something. we have been using our drone to show everybody these remarkable pictures. you can see the video we got on the ground from sources who are leaking stuff to us, as well. we just learned that the faa has put out a temporary flight restriction, a tfr, in the area immediately around the port of entry where that bridge is. what does that mean? it means our drone can no longer fly and show those images. it is a two week tfr, and according to the faa, it is for. we have reached out to the faa to get a little clarification on what the heck that means. the timing on this, the location, a little bit curious. i just want to point out, fox news has been at the border for the better part of seven months now. we have been using the drone the

entire time. it has never been an issue. all of a sudden, the last 24-hour, we start showing images at this bridge and a tfr goes up and we can no longer fly. when we can update from the faa we will be sure to let you know but unfortunately for those agents on the ground, they are complete the overwhelmed. they need some serious help right now and hopefully they get it from the federal government. we will send it back to you. >> tucker: that's the first i'm hearing of this, bill. i sincerely -- i haven't talked to lawyers about it -- i sincerely hope our company will ignore the faa. they have no right to shut down newsgathering. they don't own the news. bill melugin, thank you. the pictures you just saw are shocking, they are also real, so they can't be ignored, in the coming days, you will hear and what is happening at the border described as a humanitarian crisis. that means the migrants are suffering -- and they definitely are suffering and that is sad, but what is sadder is americans are suffering too. open borders have caused a deadly crisis among the very people our government supposedly exist to protect.

close to 100,000 americans have died of drug overdoses in the last year. these are not 85-year-old with emphysema in nursing homes. these are kids on your street. young people in the prime of life. country's future, the next generation. and they are dead now, mostly because of fentanyl that came up through mexico. so come open borders means much more of this poison in your neighborhood, killing our children. statistics released this week show that as of the end of july, fentanyl seizures at the southern border are more than double what they were for all of last year. joe biden did that. open borders mean many more young americans will die. again, joe biden did that. neither he nor anyone around him cares, however. if 100,000 afghan refugees died this year of anything, what would we be talking about? that, and only that. cnn would do a special every week. what happened to the afghan refugees? that would be the single biggest issue in this country, by far.

but 100,000 american young people? joe biden never even mentions it. he doesn't care. and drugs are hardly the only disastrous effect of open borders. the median price of a new home in this country is now almost six times higher than the median american household income. think about that. that is a record. never happened. never been more expensive than it is now to buy a house. if you are young person who is hoping to start a life in this country, that is a disaster, so why is it happening? lots of reasons. fed policy, for one. one of the reasons is overcrowding. it is that simple. supply and demand. no one ever mentions it but since 1990, this country has gained about 100 million people. 100 million. 1990. doesn't seem like that long ago to some of us. thanks to the lunatics now in charge, this unsustainable growth is accelerating in ways it never has before, ever. under joe biden, hundreds of thousands of immigrants are coming into the united states

every single month. so where are they going to live exactly? where are they going to send their children to school? what about the health care they have been promised for free? have you been to a hospital emergency room recently? you should go check it out. once you see, you will understand the future the democratic party is planning for you, squalid, overcrowded, chaotic, loud. of course, having treated as human disaster, democrats now claim they have a solution. of course, that is why they created it so they could fix it. what is their solution? amnesty for 8 million. that is what they proposed and they may very well get it. republicans are allowing this, by and large. that amnesty you should know should would apparently extend even to violent criminals and gg members. wait a second, i am an american, how is allowing ms-13 to choose my government, to vote in my elections, going to make my life better? what is in it for me? well, here from california to explain. >> this is very simple.

it requires that aliens not receive amnesty if they are a gang member. >> i must oppose this amendment. as was mentioned before, the effect of the amendment would really be to frustrate the legislative recommendations and that our investment in human infrastructure. the united states will benefit from the resulting economic gains in relief for decades to come. this amendment would dilute that investment and eliminate economic benefits and that alone is enough to oppose this amendment. >> tucker: oh, the economic gains from inviting millions more people who don't have high school diplomas into the country. nothing against those people, but does any adult really foresee a future in this country where low skilled labor is the

engine of economic growth? that's insane. in fact, it is a lie shocking even by washington standards. the biden administration's plan will ultimately entitle illegal immigrants to be full benefits of citizenship, that is the whole point. that would include medicaid, social security, food stamps, et cetera, et cetera et cetera. even as the welfare state expands, the number of people drawing from it expands, as well. how is that going to end? the cost of all of this, according to congressional budget office, will be in the hundreds of billions of dollars in the next few years alone. what about long-term? some estimates put the cost at well over a trillion dollars or more. but that is all justified according to zoe lofgren because it is human infrastructure. human infrastructure? that's weird. humans are not infrastructure. humans are alive. they have souls. there is a difference between people and sewage systems. but not in the eyes of the democratic party. there is really not that much difference. they don't care about

individuals. individuals are expendable. that's the mind-set of every revolutionary through history. people are a means. to power. so, to our leaders, illegal immigrants have a very specific functional purpose. they are a tool to change the country forever and ensure a permanent democratic control over our government. they look at the numbers. if you were born in this country and you don't have a high school degree, you are not voting for them. you don't like what they are doing. they don't want to change your minds, they can't be bothered, so they are going to bring in new people without high school degrees. got it? it is changing the country in order to win my collections. so, if this passes, millions of people who came to this country illegally who by definition don't care about our laws, law and order, that is why those people from january 6th are still in confinement because they did not believe in law and order, but the people who care so deeply about law and order are welcoming me millions who

congressman thomas massie, and he is absolutely right. it is true and obvious to anyone who actually reads the amnesty bill. under the biden administration's plan, several categories of illegal aliens will get green cards, meaning they will be allowed to live in this country, get full citizenship, and be allowed to vote for democrats. one of the groups that will receive green cards includes "essential workers." this at a time when we have an employment crisis. but what are essential workers exactly? it turns out according to the democrats in congress, pretty much every worker is an essential worker. illegal migrants working in agriculture, which is overwhelmingly mechanized, by the way, health care, food, construction, transportation all included. they can stay here indefinitely. so can illegal migrants that the biden administration refers to as dreamers. that sounds like a relic from the obama years. no, it includes any illegal immigrant who entered this country prior to this year under the age of 18. this is insane. let's just say it. to prove how insane it is,

congressman mike johnson of louisiana tried to introduce an amendment that would ban imago l migrants who have multiple duis. remember we used to be against drunk driving? not anymore. >> let's make sure that if you have a serial offender, someone who repeatedly is convicted of driving under the influence, that at least that will prevent them from being given amnesty. i urge all my colleagues to at least support this amendment. i yield back. >> whether someone has two or six or ten or 20 convictions of dui, 30 years ago, someone can change. that is why we have the waiver provision. you may have any number of convictions for dui because you were drunk. because you are an alcoholic. but you also may cease to be an alcoholic, and we all know people -- or at least, i know people, i'm sure many of us know people -- who are no longer

most important voices for free speech in the entertainment industry. now she has a message for the people who tried to silence her. fox news trace gallagher has that story for us tonight. >> for context, this whole thing started when nicki minaj tweeted about having to be vaccinated to attend the met gala. she told her 22 million followers that she would not be bullied and wanted to do her research. she got a lot of pushback, but the story really blew up when she tweeted about her cousin in trinidad who would not get the vaccine because he said his friend got vaccinated, got small and testicles, became impotent, and his fiancee called off their wedding. this show then talked about that tweet and accurately expressed exactly where nicki minaj stood on vaccines, but the haters came out, including msnbc's joey reed, who accused nicki minaj of costing lives by encouraging people not to get vaccinated, which is a lie. minaj has repeatedly said do your research but if you're comfortable getting the vaccine or need it for work, then get it.

but the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff morning the chinese military before an attack, promising to do that, is a big story. that was mark milley. we learned that earlier this week when the new bob woodward book came out. he did not resign. the biden administration says they will not fire him. that is despite -- by the way, he was also quoted in july as threatening violence against the last president. "we've got the guns," he said of the united states military. mark milley has not denied accuracy of this. a marine corps combat veteran joins us tonight to assess. thanks so much for coming on. do you think, as a reliable observer of america, that mark milley can just sort of continue on as if nothing happens and stay on the job? >> no come he is not going to continue on and stay on the job, tucker, he is going to get promoted. but a year from now, come out

with a book called "the courage to act" or something like that, he's not going to continue on, he's going to prosper. mark milley is god's gift to these people who run this country. there is a cabal of communists around joe biden. joe biden has the brain function of louis the 16th, so he's not going to step in, and mark milley has been useful for them, kept his mouth shut when he should have come as soon as they needed cover up for the disaster in afghanistan, milley stepped up and it drone strike at a family and claimed it was isis. he is going to get promoted and have a nice life. >> tucker: but the damage it is doing to the u.s. military, you look at the stats on who died fighting our wars and is actually doing the fighting, it is working-class native born americans, exactly, disproportionately. that has kind of been the way it has been for hundreds of years. will people like you -- you are in that category, you served in

the marine corps, going to join the military at this point? >> well, people like me. i was as average a marine as it gets, but the truth is, tucker, the real warriors, the real success for the communists right now is the reuters we have in and getting out and warriors we need, testosterone filled youngy are not going in, they don't want to learn about white rage from milley and learn how racist they are, they don't want to get more get forced vaccinations. it is a soft purge of the military and soon we will have a bunch of compliance sheet, vicious little weaklings who will do exactly what every communist dictator wants them to do, and that is hurt their political opponents. >> tucker: it is just like arming the sociology department at overland, calling it a military. >> it is not an accident they used teenage boys. they don't want to strong men, they want weak, stupid sheep underneath them who will do whatever they are told, and ten, 15, 20 years from now, that is the kind of military we have because we are losing our best

academy, but unlike most people who get canceled, he did not stop. he is now one of the most popular authors in the united states. he and his wife have written a brand-new book about how to reclaim clear thinking, it's called "the hunter gatherer's guide to the 21st century," evolutionary biologists joins us now. congratulations on the book. i was shocked, i have not seen any coverage of it anywhere, the top of the amazon list, i don't know how you did that but i'm grateful you did because i think you need to be heard, so this is a book with a lot of different points. we don't have that much time. how would you sum up the theme of it? >> well, tucker, human beings are the most flexible and fastest evolving species that has ever existed with the current rate of technological changes outstripping our capacity to adapt, and the result is that we are becoming sick, we are sick physically, psychologically, and societally. the book explores that problem

and provides a toolkit for finding our way out. >> tucker: basically, people have existed for all these years and pretty much the same way, and then the pace of change starts to accelerate beyond the point we can handle it. so just give us one -- which makes sense -- give us one strategy for living in a time that we are not suited for. >> well, we need to understand when we face something novel, whether it is something new we add to our diets, something pharmaceutical we are going to take, or when we remove something from a past environment, we are taking a risk, and we need to look at these things very carefully and figure out whether or not what we are adding is coherent and whether or not we are removing is actually playing a necessary. >> tucker: do you think we accepted the iphone without thinking it through adequately? >> yes, and i think we don't really have a way of exploring these questions.

when we first saw a smartphone and saw all of the things it could do for us, it was hard to articulate what the danger was. something that allows you to navigate a foreign city like a native is a truly valuable tool, but the idea that it would be loaded up with dopamine traps that would cause us to become addicted to counterproductive behavior, that was a little hard to describe. now, of course, we know, but it is too late. >> tucker: we spoke for an hour for our fox nation show, one of my favorite conversations, but we only got in trouble when you mentioned the word "ivermectin," so i cannot resist asking you, at the time you said you and your wife, with whom you wrote to this book, are taking it prophylactically. are you still doing that and do you think it works? >> well, the data is noisy. i'm still doing it because the harm is clearly a very small and the potential benefit is large. i would suggest, i am not a doctor, people should look into the question themselves and figure out whether or not it is a potentially useful tool in

fending off covid, which is a very serious disease. >> tucker: by that one measure, fending off covid, has it been effective, do you believe, for you and your wife? >> it's a little hard to say because we don't know where we have encountered it. we haven't come down as with covid as far as we know, but in other countries, it has been used to great effect and is being widely distributed in many place bids because officials hae looked at it and concluded it's useful. >> tucker: so, countries with rigorous data have come to that conclusion? >> yes. again, the data set is noisy, and reasonable people can disagree, but given the low danger of the drug, giving it to people who either have encountered covid or are living with people who have just tested positive seems to be very effective at driving down rates of covid. >> tucker: interesting. one of the few freethinkers left on television. bret weinstein, i appreciate it. congratulations on the book. >> thank you. >> tucker: we are out of time tonight.
