democracy. we remember that it's not at all how things work and many other places or ever have. they don't have representatives. in most places and times, if you wanted to take over a country, first you had to control its military. the guys with guns. the army is essential for political control. government dictates have no meaning without the credible threat of force to back them up. guns are two laws is what gold is to paper currency. value and strength in a democratic system. the military serves to protect the entire population no matter who they voted for. that's what democracy is. in an authoritarian system of the armies the enforcement apparatus of a specific political party. that's the difference between the two systems. it's worth remember and that given what we are seeing happen all around the world right now. the german defense ministry recently announced its

dismantling its best to train special operations unit. dozens of operators have recently been fired. none have committed any kind of crime. the ruling party in germany simply determined they were not loyal enough, they had the wrong political views so they got candy. the german defense minister put it they've gone under the influence of a healthy understanding of beliefs. an unhealthy understanding of elites. has there ever been a more revealing quote than that? anybody who doesn't think we are impressive must be fired immediately. it's not just happening in germany. australian until recently was a pretty free company. if politicians called in the military to enforce their totalitarian covert restrictions. using violence if necessary and it's sometimes necessary. sydney is under martial law. that's a shocking attack on the western understanding of civil liberties.

didn't submit to the covid-19 vaccination shot. didn't matter if they had natural immunity are not which many in the military do. the personal moral or religious objections were irrelevant. bow before the authority of the democratic party, no excuses, no exceptions. i determined that mandatory vaccinations against covid-19's necessary to protect the force and defend the american people. period, no debat. there is no justification, they are zero scientific basis for any of this. the fighting strength of the military is young, healthy people virtually all of them at extremely low risk of dying from covid. to this day, only 46 members of the entire u.s. military died from the coronavirus over the last year and a half. suicides, by contrast, kill many, many times more. just a few months last year, 156 service members killed

themselves. military suicide is an actual crisis the pentagon might want to address. lloyd austin might want to look into that. but, no, that we get the democratic party nothing. the point of mandatory vaccinations to identify the sincere christians in the rake them of the freethinkers, the men with high testosterone levels, and anybody else who doesn't love joe biden and make them leave immediately. it's a takeover of the u.s. military. here's how they are doing it. the power points that the armies doing to justify vaccines to the troops. this is a slide from it on your screen. you'll note that the sympathetic portrayal of satanism. how many children were sacrificed to satan because of the vaccine the slide reads sarcastically. if the presentation proceeds with the tenants of satanism which are taken from the satanism website. you have the united states army doing p.r. for satanists. the rest of the presentation is

less shocking, but it's utterly shoddy and dishonest. only three people have died from taking the covid vaccine. reports collected by the biden administration itself indicate numbers actually are in the thousands. we call the army about this today and the power points real, true side. but it's somehow not approved by army leadership and expand how that works were what they're about to do about it. if we the vaccine mandate taking a terrible toll in the u.s. military in a very volatile time. only three members of the paramilitary teams that got there before the military. three members have been suspended for not getting vaccinated and told to only disciplinary proceedings. meanwhile, an army officer just announced he's resigning from the military rather than take medicine he does not want or need. a statement he said he was

"incapable of injecting suggesting myself to the unlawful, unethical, to radical order to sit still and allow a serum to be injected into my system." there's many like him. the navy makes up the most impressive units in the entire military. doesn't matter if they've natural immunity, doesn't matter if they valid religious or medical exemption. if they do not submit to the order, they cannot deploy and have to leave the seals. the deadlines almost immediately. to be clear, and case you're wondering if this is in response to some kind of crisis, we don't believe a single navy seal has died of covid. that makes sense, these are some of the healthiest people not just in america but the world. many of them have had the virus and they live in close quarters and they recovered it.

if that means they have more natural immunity then vaccines could ever provide. and, yeah, hundreds of navy seals case being fired imminently for refusing to take the shot. keep in mind, only about 2500ish active-duty seals, each one of them costs at least half a million dollars for the u.s. government to train. imagine the effect on the country's military readiness because of this. it's horrifying. if you love the country, you would not do this. we would not disable our hospitals by forcing nurses to resign because they do not want to take the shot. you'll notice by the way, in the case of the navy seals and more broadly the u.s. military, none of the members of congress are going to care so much about the military. if they talk about all the time, adam kinzinger, liz cheney, so many others. none of these people have said a single word about any of them. they have not reason to defend

these guys. they don't care. it's left to men like davis to fight for these navy seals. he's an air force reserve officer and a lawyer, representing a number of the navy seals in question. he joins us tonight. thank you so much for coming on tonight. did we misstate any of that? you have hundreds apparently of navy seals who will leave a force that's only about 2500 men very soon over these covid vaccine mandates. correct? >> that's absolutely right. i want to say thank you on behalf of of my clients to bringing this to the attention of the american people. we need their help. my clients are christian men, men of faith, their faith informs every decision they make. they need more time. the weights being rolled out to my clients and many other numbers of the military is arbitrary. if they are given these very tight deadlines and they do not have time to explore all their

options and their rights. the worst of it is they are being told you're going to go in a nondeployable status if you do not do this. my clients strongly believe that's going to impact military greatness. >> tucker: i don't think it surprised any of us that the navy seals are first on the list to be targeted. an all-male force. i don't know anything about the voting records or if they vote, they are the exactly kind of people if you're planning to control the military for political purposes you would want gone. do they feel singled out? it seems like they are being pressed especially hard. especially early. >> i think that's accurate. i think my clients in particular, some of my clients are navy seals. they are a very small part of a much larger group of navy seals that feel that way. i have clients that are fired are pilots they feel like they've been forced into the same situation. two

to my clients, this is an arbitrary deadline. these men aren't alone. my clients with the american people to know there are thousands of military members across the formation that feel the same way and my clients are christian men informed about their faith, love their neighbor, they dedicate their lives and sacrifice their lives to protect innocent life. that's what they are about and they want this brought to attention and want help for the rest of the military. it's not about them, their quiet professionals, talker, that's what they do. my clients don't want to be famous and have books written about them, they want to do their job and serve the country. they're willing to step out in front because of all the other military members that are out there that do not have a platform like this. >> tucker: this has nothing to do with medicine or science, covid, this is about changing the nature of the force. period. i hope you can stop in and i hope members of congress wake up immediately and join in on that. davis, i appreciate that. >> thank you.

period of several hundred more streaming across as we speak. we are on a boat in the rio grande and this is the mexican side of the river right now. you can see it's a never ending stream, hundreds of people crossing the rio grande. if basically every hour and they are heading over to the international bridge which you can see in the background. look at the mass of people. of this is why the situation on the bridge continues to deteriorate. this is insane. at the federal government has to wake up. >> tucker: a lot of questions here where did the haitians come from and how do they get here, how do they afford it? most pressing of all for americans is where the haitians going? u.s. border patrol chief just told bill melugin that of the 12,000 migrants under the bridge in del rio, only adult men will be deported. the rest will be processed and released into what you thought was your country but turns out isn't. today fox news peter doocy asked

come from chile and brazil in countries like that. if they're not actually coming from haiti because they have been living in latin american countries ever since the earthquake. that's real years now. the border is wide open and then everybody knows it's wide open. the message is loud and clear and people have been crossing for months. biden administration doesn't do anything and this is their chance. they set up their lives a pretty good and i've seen many of them in the airports here, and distributing all over the country. they are well-dressed, very lovely people from what i can tell. well behaved, great families, but what they don't look like is desperate. they don't look like for example christians fleeing persecution from nigeria who are in the midst of a who cannot even get asylum in this country. but the rules are written for them and what you're seeing cap and here those thousands of people, you know what the agents tell me? they've got like 24 order jams

for the people. of several hundred of them around 300 escaped on sunday morning. they ran away. the conditions are miserable and they don't have enough food, they do not have any real facilities or security. it's an absolute unmitigated disaster. what you're seeing happen here is all those people in the biden administration that came from the open society foundation that we are not allowed to talk about because that will be the end of us, right? they'll come for all of us. if those people, those advisors, they do not want a border. what does open and society me no country. that's why patriotism, that's why they're so evil. never mind that you could be proud of your flag in your borders. whatever. what you're saying is part of a much bigger political picture

joins us tonight. thank you for coming on. you've seen it so much, but you get to lie about the loss of human life, you get caught, and nothing happens to you? what kind of system is that? >> this kind of accountability is critical. i want to point out first then any time there are civilian casualties in war, it's tragic and terrible. war is a terrible thing and it's important for the american people to understand that islam jihadists are continuing to wage war against us. the islamist ideology, not the same as the religion of islam, but the islamist ideology which is the political ideology that inspired the terrorists attack on our country on 9/11 is the greatest threat that we are facing right now in the country in the world. it's the foundation of governance of so-called islamic

governments like turkey, iran, saudi arabia, pakistan, and it's what behind the discriminatory policies that they have in these countries against christians, hindus, buddhists, atheists, and others. as long as these islamic jihadists are waging war against us, we have to work to defeat them. militarily, and ideologically. militarily, we have few choices in how we do that. number one, continue to invade and occupy the nation-building country around the world just as we did in afghanistan. at great cost. number two, we can take a targeted approach using air strikes and using our special forces to go in and go after the terror cells. the reality is that the cost, the cost of the american people, the cost to our troops and the cost to civilians will be far less if we take this very targeted approach to go after the jihadist terrorist cells that if we continue making the very same mistakes that we saw

in afghanistan and other parts of the world of invasion and occupation nation-building. >> tucker: so, in order to do that, in order to affect any successful military strategy, you have to have competent people running things. it doesn't competence require honesty and accountability? you're not allowed to lie to the public, where you? >> the american people deserve honesty. they deserve leaders with integrity and not those who shy away from their own responsibilities to the american people or look for a lower ranking fall going to take the hit. the american people deserve strong leadership that looks out for their best interests and the best interests of our country. >> tucker: when was the last time a general officer or someone in the pentagon level commander in the u.s. military was punished for a mistake? is it always the corporal scum of the lieutenants, the

captains? >> that's a really good question, tucker, i can tell you from just coming off active duty and coming back from a deployment to africa, there is a common frustration among service members when it is someone of a lower rank who takes the hit for decisions and policies that were made far above their level. >> tucker: so dishonorable. that whole way of governing anything, not just the military. >> it's not leadership at all. >> tucker: tulsi gabbard, welcome back. thanks so much. >> thanks. >> tucker: dustin served in the u.s. military for three decades before he retired at the rank of colonel. for an episode of "tucker carlson today" we spoke in length of what we saw in afghanistan and how it happened. here's part of it. >> the four stars generations of them have been steadfastly opposed to any change.

remember the people that built the army and the second world war are completely disconnected from the people that you see today. people here today don't understand the origins of what was done and why. but what they want to do was keep it going. to the extent they could expand it to come i remember of course supports general officer positions, of course. we have more general officers and more admirals -- >> tucker: the bigger the forces -- >> not just big because it's not really that big. if you look at the numbers of troops, the number of fights, ships at sea, we don't have that many. the force that actually does something has gotten progressively smaller but the overhead has gotten bigger and bigger and bigger. like the schools, the federal government, everything else. >> absolutely. >> tucker: more administrators, less doers. >> it's part of the effort of the generals to feed the

appetite on the hill. they love more headquarters in states overseas, create more positions, cost more money. more opportunities to spend a period of never exists to spend. people don't understand that. that's what they do. you feed the beast. if you're the general officer today we have 43 or 444 stars. for a force of a 1.18 million. during world war ii at the height of the war in 1943, we had seven for a force of 12.2 million. marshall was approached several times on the hill, why don't you promote him? marshall said, look, congressman, look, senator, i've got to win the war. i don't want to argue with anybody. the more four stars you have, the more arguments you have. if we've got to get this thing done. so, he kept at the numbers down

until the war was almost over and the promotions to four and five stars who really were honorifics. they were not tied to bureaucracy come into bureaucratic headquarters, bureaucratic structures. now we have this highly iraq retired military establishment with numerous general officers. it has corrupted everything we do because it's tied to the defense industry, tied to congress and congressional oversight. ultimately it's damaging in most cases because it pushes you to spend where you might otherwise not spend. investor you might not otherwise invest. this exacerbated the problems in the armed forces that have been building up over 50 years. now, what's really bad is that it has infected the senior ranks in ways that are disastrous. you have a very corrupt senior leadership and it's not

trials, researchers concluded that it led to "large, statistically significant reductions in mortality." other trials and analysis have suggested similar benefits. the problem is you can't get ivermectin in this country even if the doctor prescribes that. or missy like cvs and walgreens are refusing to fill the prescriptions because why? we reach out to both of those companies on either one denied it. cvs said their pharmacists are empowered to use their professional judgment when reviewing prescriptions and a prescribers diagnosis. so it's totally cool to give like opioids to drug addicts by ivermectin, cnn doesn't want to. mark mcdonald is a physician. a clinical psychiatrist. he joins us. thanks so much for coming on. before we get into why people are being denied ivermectin, do you think there is hope and ivermectin? is that potentially an effective

therapeutic for covid? >> it could be a lifesaver. this medication which is shown to be safe, incredibly safe, and amazingly effective for parasitic infections in children. it was so effective that the inventor won a nobel prize just a few years ago. has in many ways cured his viral pandemic in the countries where it has been instituted. most recently in india. this drug is safe, it's effective, and it needs to be available widely to all patients in consultation with their doctor. speak out cnn is against it for reasons that really baffled me, but as a result of that, apparently cvs and walgreens which dominate pharmacies in this country are refusing to prescribe that we are hearing. why would that be? >> well, this has happened to my patients, to patients of my colleagues, all around the country. pharmacists are getting in between doctors and patients

they are complicit in hospitalizations and deaths of those patients. but as they just asked, the real question is why? aren't we all supposed to be here to save lives, to improve health outcomes, and yet the only story we are hearing his masks, universal, course vaccination. so early treatment, not with ivermectin, for all therapeutics, is amazingly and mysteriously attacked, denied, ignored. anybody who touches it, it's like touching a third rail. i discussed a few months ago and they came after me. my twitter account was suspended. it is still suspended even after i peeled. but the twitter courts are currently not in session and i haven't responded to my emails in the last three weeks. perhaps the segment will help unlock it. other physicians have been similarly attacked. so why is it happening? why is it really, safe, effective treatment not being

talked about? i think that's a very important question. >> tucker: you can buy xanax by the pound which kills an untold number of americans every year. as a doctor, can you actually get ivermectin if you really want to? is it available or is it totally shut down? >> it depends on where you go. small pharmacies, independence, and a small pharmacy here in los angeles where it's on my patients have supplies. so you can get it if you look for it, but you often have to make many, many phone calls. >> tucker: big companies that control everything -- bad. small independent companies that can use independent judgment, good. doctor, i appreciate you coming on. i really hope that what you're saying find a wide audience. it's interesting at the very least and potentially amazing. thank you so much. >> thank you. >> tucker: that's it for us.
