7:00 pm
>> beauty. >> [laughing]. >> can biden hit a ball like that? [laughing]. >> sean: a friend of mine played with him and he shot 1 under par. video of the day. laura what is the bigot problem tonight besides ray? >> laura: i have to talk about that shot. you have to love a guy who hits a great golf shot and goes right to biden. and i beat biden -- >> sean: the guy in the background said he would understand find his ball. >> laura: we will talk about the obsession with january 6th and what it means about the democrat
7:01 pm
agenda. >> sean: can i ask a favor is this we have known each other 25 years. ask where is the commission on the riots and kamala harris donated to the bail fund? >> laura: those riots don't matter. the only riots that matter were january 6th. >> sean: 3,000 cops injured. >> laura: they are telling me i got to go. we could do the whole hour. this is "the ingraham angle" from washington tonight. government prosecutors lost their fight to keep certain january 6th surveillance under seal. now we have seen the videos and we know why. the full tape and newt gingrich's reaction in a bit. plus two afghan refugees in a wisconsin army base charged with vile crimes. the congress man blowing the
7:02 pm
whistle this is here. but first the border is the focus of tonight's "angle." what has collapsed faster? the border or biden's popularity? the border has been open since january 20th and got worse. biden's slide downward is even more stark. he went from 55% in july to 44% in september. his disapproval numbers went from 43 to 53. that's a negative swing of 21 points in just 2 months. these findings track what gallup reported earlier. he lost 13 points among democrats and independents am it's not just about afghan. it's everything:
7:03 pm
inflation, unemployment, gas prices and of course the border. what is the official white house reaction? >> we are in the middle of navigating and weathering storms and dealing with crises. that's what people elected him to get through. >> laura: all of these storms are of his own making, most obviously the break down at our worried. -- our border. they don't believe in border enforcement. they don't believe in borders at all. we were called xenophobic and anti-immigrant by the bush people. but we were right. there is no way to see the footage from del rio as anything but clear evidence that the democrat party has surrendered to the open borders lobby. under biden our border is one
7:04 pm
giant migrant camp site and it's filthy and hundreds more are arriving every day. few are being returned to their own country. haitians have been freed on a very, very large scale. one official said and tuesday the official not authorized to discuss the matter, put the figure in the thousands. that's not good enough for the democrats who are open borders radicals. they want more lawlessness and less border security and they want immediate resettlement into the u.s. of anyone who sets foot on our soil. they reach for their favorite security blanket which is race. >> haitians lives are black lives. if we truly believe that black
7:05 pm
lives matter matter, we must reverse court. the biden administration must halt all deportation of haitians migrants. >> laura: she is saying skin color should trump u.s. immigration law. does that mean any black or brown skinned person should be sent to the front of the line for legal immigration policies? they bet i would say yes. you can always count on sharp ton. his latest target the border agents on horse back and you are using reins you are automatically a racist. >> del rio is a loving and caring community. we don't want your racism in texas. get out of here. nobody wants to hear your
7:06 pm
racism. >> [overlapping talking]. >> [shouting]. >> nobody wants you in texas. nobody wants you in texas. >> [shouting]. >> get out of here. >> laura: the majority of the border agents are hispanic. they have used horses at the border for decades. sharpton and the squad squawking is a gift do biden. it's an opportunity for him to tack to the middle. but he squandered it. biden had the chance to distance himself from the open borders radicals in his party. he had a chance to stand up for the rule of law in american sovereignty. instead he hid from the press and sent jen psaki out to embarrass herself once again. >> the secretary conveyed to
7:07 pm
civil rights leaders we would no longer be using horses in del rio. that was a policy change made in response. >> laura: this is pathetic. we have female migrants raped by the cartels and children's lives in danger. the american people are left on the hook for billion dollars to deal with and horse are their focus? incompetence mixed with radicalism is a dangerous combination. >> how does border patrol determine who gets it stay in? >> it's determined by a number of factors. people can kids who are younger than a certain age.
7:08 pm
each is made on a case by case basis. and another factor is detention capacity within i.c.e. >> laura: what? in other words, send a message to the world i am not trump. we love migrants. that's what she is saying. a lot of factors come into play. migrants come in record numbers and overwhelm the system. then they release the migrants be they haitians or hondurans. everybody knows this game. the cartels know it and the democrats know the game and sedo the american people. this is not going to end well for america or the democrats. on everything from the budget to the border, the white house should stand with the people
7:09 pm
like joe manchin. democrats in the middle. it might help his approval numbers. it was a huge mistake when biden did not make it clear to the squatted that his administration would not be held hostage by them. giving them into their threats made them more radical. when democrats rejected bernie and warren and supported biden. the democrat voters are rejections socialism and open borders. now with a weakened joe biden cowed by the lunatics in his own party, that's exactly what those voters are going. refusing to change course biden looks limp and weak. the political fallout is even
7:10 pm
spilling over into the virginia's governor race and yet they keep hitting the accelerator. this is the definition of insanity. biden's chief of staff thinks that placating the press will save. the press is just as unsatisfied as everyone else is. >> these are images traumatizing haitian-americans that he promised to treat with humanity. >> she just sits there and takes it it. they are not looking out for the american people. not the press corp. keep catering on the wrong people, joe, and soon build back better will be replaced by how low can he go?
7:11 pm
that's the "angle." joining me is the former acting director of i.c.e. and a former white house advisor and president of america first legal. steven, at the border we have a situation where there are children being born. we have pregnant women showing up. people are sick and border patrol are frustrated. we can't get an answer from the administration on how many people from the border have been resettled into the united states. what do we make of this? >> it's shocking and deplorable. this is a point i made to every reporter i talk to: if this administration won't give you that simple piece of information, how many illegal aliens have been released into the country versus returned, then you should hammer every
7:12 pm
day. other media outlets are ignoring this. you played the sound earlier where jen psaki said they reassured civil rights leaders they are not using horses anymore which is one of the dumbest sentencis have ever talked -- you mentioned blm. who is illegal immigrants hurting? it's especially hurting african-american citizens and hispanic citizens who are seeing their jobs go up and seeing drugs in their community. what about their civil rights as american citizens? there is a reason why record numbers of hispanic voters in south texas on the border voted for donald trump because illegal immigrants hurts them. >> laura: the squad squawking
7:13 pm
even spooked mainstream media members. here is chuck schumer. >> immediately put a top to these expulsions and end this title 42 policy at our southern border. we can't continue these hateful and xenophobic trump policies that disregard our ref go laws. >> laura: i senate majority already didn't care about covid. he wants more to come in -- >> the biden administration is already violating 42 from day 1. the secretary has become the secretary of homeland insecurity. he made a statement that the border patrol and talked about the horses.
7:14 pm
he is a coward. for the commissioner troy miller he is a coward. he is not defending the men. i talked to 5 retired patrol agents and 2 retired commissioners. they saw the film and they said they violated no rules. you have the secretary calling them out and the vice-president calling them out. you have the commissioners not speaking up. to the chief of the border patrol, where you? you have to speak up and defend the men and women who you know are innocent. you have seen the film. if you don't speak up, then you are a coward. don't let the white house do this with your integrity. this guy is embarrassed and under attack. jen psaki said it's under investigation by the ig. the secretary is horrified and said they weaponized horses. how do you think that
7:15 pm
investigation will turnout? do you think they will have a fair investigation? absolutely not. i am tired of politicians. they don't talk about the 8,000 lives that border patrol saved or talk about the officers who died of covid because they are ignoring title 42. they haven't talked about the officer where the bus was overtaken. >> laura: they don't care. they care more about non-citizens than the average working man and woman in the united states. that's a fact. we have been talking about this for 20 years. this is now obvious to every american. they are panicked that men of color are turning away from the democrat party. they need a new constituency. they hope a constituency that may be dependent on the
7:16 pm
government. that's what they need and cheap labor. >> it's about cheap labor for biden's wealth's backers and about new votes. it's about hurting the people the working class people that make this country run. i will say to every single border agent working that line, you do not owe your allegiance to secretary mayorkas. he betrayed you. pick up the phone and call reporters and tell them the truth what is happening on our border and the mass releases happening every day with no vetting. >> laura: mayorkas should be terminated. he is not working for the betterment of america. tom, thanks for your passion.
7:17 pm
steven, you as well. the "wall street journal" notes haitians and cubans are turning up by the hundreds of thousands. well, of course. why is this happening? the senate for immigration studies may have found their answer. on september 12th the mexican government sent migrants it had bottled up over to the american border. this done under the cover of mexico's independence week. here is mike pompeo. the biden team is trying to reboot trump's remain in mexico policy, but mexico didn't want to play. your reaction? >> we left him a perfectly good plan and in afghanistan and they turned that into chaos.
7:18 pm
left him a good plan to handle the southern border and maintain sovereignty. they ripped that up and i am confident they will blame our administration the same way had a did afghanistan. the american people can see. the humanitarian crisis is very significant. the burden it will place on the united states is real. schools will have to put these kids through school. it will deny the citizens and the kids that live there the education they need. and the "wall street journal" article, everybody person thinking maybe i should come, will see these haitians who came from central and south america who had been there quite a while. every person thinking about coming to the united states will see a green light and they will be released inside the united
7:19 pm
states. we are at the front end of a significant wave of illegal immigrants. we saw it for the first 8 months of the biden administration. i expect the next 8 will increase that. >> laura: secretary pompeo what does this mean for the meaning of american independence and sovereignty? if a nation is unwilling -- we are able to do it, but if we are unwilling by our elected leaders to enforce our own borders, where does that leave us as a country? >> it makes our adversaries happy to undermine our democracy and republic. this is about american sovereignty. we have a fundamental duty toe protect our border and know who is coming in and out and the what, the drugs and the traffickers. we have a democrat party who has been taken over by the open borders crowd. this is a dereliction of duty at
7:20 pm
the most serious level. american sovereignty is at stake. the american people can sense it. you am confident that the biden administration will hear they have to reverse these policies. a good start would be to put remain in mexico back in place and make clear we will say illegal immigrantsion is going to stop and you will be returned. >> laura: the biden administration just lost its bid to keep the january 6th surveillance tapes sealed. why do they want them to hide them from the public. newt gingrich react next. don't go away.
7:25 pm
>> laura: a federal judge ordered the release of more surveillance video from inside the u.s. capitol on january 6th. surely the tape proves what the democrats told us about january 6th for months. >> participating in an insurrection against the government is among the most series ethics violations can imagine. >> i will never forgive those people and the president who instigated the insurrection. >> these were rioters and
7:26 pm
domestic terrorists. >> laura: the biden administration fought the release of the surveillance tapes and now we know they undermine the left's narrative of a coordinated assault. what we see the majority of the people were aimlessly milling about in different parts of the building. some people were waving flag. some are climbing through a broken window. most are taking selfies and one shows the video filing out of the building as the police look on. here is newt gingrich former speaker of the house. no one is condoning some of the worst things we saw on january 6th there were stomach turning. but this tape has been used to
7:27 pm
criminalize speech and this commit has been launched with liz cheney sitting on it. what does that tape tell you? >> it's clear. the fbi said there does no evidence of any significant conspiracy. you had a group of people who did break the law. they should be prosecuted. that's normally a misdemeanor. the only person killed was an air force veteran, a woman killed by a capitol policemen. i suspect they are reluctant to release all of the surveillance tapes and they should release them. they don't hold up to what the democrats want people to believe. the democrats have a huge investment to describe january 6th as an sarns. -- insurrection. it was stupid and illegal. but you compare that to a summer of black lives matter looting
7:28 pm
and burning and killing people. it strikes me this is a one sided interpretation of what matters. again it fits the biden pattern. they don't tell you how many people came across the border illegally or how many have covid or criminal records or tell you where they are shipping them to. this is trying to govern like a petty dictatorship with pelosi. release the tapes. let the american people look at it. let the american people decide. >> laura: and there is other news out of the capitol surrounding the $3.5-trillion spending bill and this idea if you don't pass it, according to
7:29 pm
nancy pelosi, the entire world will stop spinning. >> what i am excited about in the bill that is coming up is what it does for the environment. this is transform agazeal. the president trump established some goals -- for protecting the environment and saving the planet. this legislation does just that. >> laura: breaking news that pelosi is going full speed ahead on bringing the bill to the floor next week. your reaction? >> well, we will rely on joe biden to save the planet? i am not sure he can save the white house. that whole notion is hysterical. this is a suicidal notion. a big government socialist bill which is supported by about 16% of the country.
7:30 pm
1 of every 6 americans favors the bill. it is opposed overwhelming. people looking at inflation and how fast prices are going up, they think it's crazy to vote for this bill. a lot of democrats will wave good-bye to their seats if they vote yes and pelosi is willing to break their arms to get them to vote yes. >> laura: other senator republicas who voted for the other infrastructure bill are going against mccarthy and steve scalise telling them not to whip up support against the infrastructure bill. you won't get any better. what do you say about that? >> i think it's pathetic watching republicans sellout for 5 cents on the there. the amount they will get out of
7:31 pm
this compare to the amount big government will get is about 5%. that's a cheap thing to give up your vote for that deal. >> laura: and last night we asked the yes: why are so many powerful people so invested in boosting china? we turn our focus to covid and new questions for dr. fauci. the "the ingraham angle" investigates in moments.
7:36 pm
7:37 pm
proposal filed with the arm of the nih headed by dr. fauci. now new couples documents show that peter hoped to accomplish a lot. it called for chinese scientists to engineer coronavirus more infectious in humans and conduct experiments in live bats. jamie was involved with this story before it became public. >> it's very, very significant they were applying for funding from the defense department a year and a half before the initial outbreak in which they
7:38 pm
were outlining a proposal to do exactly what we saw a year and a half later. they wanted to create viruss that brought together bat coronaviruses. they were imagining a blueprint for what looks like the virus that emerged a year and a half later. the one thing i want to clarify. this was rejected by darpa. the united states government did its job. dr. fauci did not fund this research but did china go ahead with this type of work? in this application, it was led by peter and echo health line. the sub-contracts include the
7:39 pm
bat lady of the wuhan institute of virology? what was happening in wuhan. we should ask tough questions about what our government was doing. the real question is what was happening in china. >> laura: dr. fauci, isn't that the point -- we don't know what was going on? >> we don't know well else this proposal went. it was considered by darpa, and rejected. there are questions about what the national institute for
7:40 pm
infectious diseases was doing. this story, though, is very, very significant. it's just separate. did this work happen? it's very, very significant. imagine if i said i am going to paint central park purple. a year later you wake up and central park is purple. maybe there is a connection then those two things. that's that is happening here. it's very, very important. we need to dig deeper and point fingers at china. if we have to point fingers at ourselves do it fairly. >> laura: for over a year my next guest has been digging into what really happened in wuhan. her findings are the subject of a new sky news australia documentary with stunning testimony from a chinese whistleblower who claimed they deliberately spread covid during
7:41 pm
the world military games in 2019. cherry is the author of what really happened in wuhan. you can re-order it today. what else did this whistleblower reveal? >> he is one of china's most famous defectors to the united states. there was coronavirus on the lose this wuhan during october 2019 during the world military games and tried to get the united states intelligence agency and others to take this seriously in november 2019. he was warning them. there was a problem in wuhan. i asked mike pompeo about this and whether this was a pandemic that could have been prevented? pompeo said there should be a review.
7:42 pm
we need to go back and look at what the intelligence agencies knew. the quality of the information they had at that time and what they did with it. how it was processed and whether it was passed on it decision makers. he said that in the documentary that is on fox nation right now. i want to add to what jamie said about the viruss. i looked into this closely, what really happened in wuhan. anthony fauci's agency funded over 60 scientific projects at the wuhan institute of virology. i asked donald trump whether anthony fauci ever once mentioned to him in the early days of the outbreak this laboratory in wuhan was manipulating coronavirus and doing dangerous research. trump said fauci never said
7:43 pm
a word. he kept silent. >> laura: you interviewed president trump for your film. here's part of what he told you. >> i don't know if they had bad thoughts or whether it was gross incompetence. one way or the other it came out of wuhan and came from the wuhan lab. i started hearing stories that you have also that there were lots of body bags outside of the lab. people were saying from are a lot of people lying down on the streets of wuhan. there were body bags. >> laura: i heard this story about the military games from a friend of mine who was in wuhan in the fall of 2019. just on his own he mentioned the military games as a possible super spreader. i don't know how he knew that. it stayed in the back of my mind. now this concern this is what happened. it would have been a perfect event to test it out, would it
7:44 pm
not? >> yes. i think the majority of people i have spoken to over the course of my investigation including president trump and pompeo and the form are head of the intelligence agency john ratcliff. they all think this was an accident that the virus out and spread. it might have spread during the military games and infected athletes who took it around the world. a chinese defector has a different view. he thinks it was deliberate. there is no evidence either way, but there is evidence for the fact the virus was spreading throughout wuhan by november. the first incident at the wuhan institute of virology happened in september of 2019. thigh started beefing up their
7:45 pm
security. spending half a million dollars to beef off security and took their virus database off line and bought a new coronavirus testing machine. >> laura: they don't want to answer any questions about this. china locked this down really fast. why. nobody is able to answer that. whether grants were granted. everybody knew that this lab was doing very risky research. we should not have been supporting them with one u.s. tax dollar, period. we will be watching on fox nation. congratulations on the book. a wisconsin congressman sounded the alarm by the afghan refugees weeks ago in fort mccaughey. no one listened and two were

7:51 pm
a 20-year-old charged with child sex crimes against 2 boys, cousins aged 12 and 14. he had been doing this for 2 weeks and a 32-year-old was charged with assaulting his wife. suffocating her. joining me is wisconsin congressman tom tiffany. you sounded the alarm weeks ago but nobody was listening? >> yes, nobody was listening. four weeks ago i made my first trip to fort mccoy. 2000 eevacuees were there and none were going not being vetted as the biden administration said they would be am people could leave the base at any time. last friday i made a second trip there. there are 13,000 people and the commanding officer told us 3
7:52 pm
weeks prior the base only has capacity for 10,000. there is overcrowding and 600 people are in quarantine: chicken pox and covid. there is a rape of young boys because the biden administration did not vet these evacuees as they should have. >> laura: pelosi is welcoming afghan refugees with open arms and our tax dollars. >> we are pleased in that same legislation which the republicans rejected, we are welcoming afghan evacuees and welcome them. >> laura: we have veterans living on the streets in the united states.
7:53 pm
what about their needs, nancy? >> no doubt about it the vetting process failed. i made a trip to panama and seeing what is happening in fort mccoy. the biden administration turned our u.s. government into a human trafficking organization. every american should know that and i that should be rising up against it. >> laura: afghans in america, we think that's great. translators but i don't think we had 120,000 am , a lot of people just made it on the plane. people have to understand what the culture clash looks like. is it justifiable for a man to beat his wife? this is a survey done by world values. 43% answered yes. make -- are we suggest setting
7:54 pm
ourselves up for a culture clash? your thoughts? >> people have to be able on it assimilate. i talked to people who did tours with the military or in afghanistan. they rooted those people out by going interview the special visa process which takes more than a year. they are not doing that. >> laura: and joe biden gets schooled on taxes. "the last bite" explains.

worked. >> [inaudible]. you don't like new york city that much. i have my cowboy hat and everything. >> laura: just move to a red states. it's america now and forever. up next "gutfeld!" takes here. >> [cheers and applause]. >> [cheering]. >> greg: thank you, people. happy thursday, everyone or kat timpf calls it honey the police are here. plush the 8 ball. billy is back which is impressive. >> i don't know why. >> greg: she's been so busy.
