1:04 am
finally. >> for a wild al has alejandro d he didn't know how many were in the united states immigration my grnts and over 12,000 have entered the united states but probably high or number than most expected and a lot of aid workers ashley who have been on the ground talking to people say that reason that haitian migrants are giving for coming into the united states all at once is because they say that they know that president biden is going to element them in. he's a good guy and they want to do it right now before the next president or something happens where they have to remain in mexico. and it is history as any indication, they are just going to stay in the united states a lot of these people -- that come over here. they don't end up making their court hear, and to they are now going to probably be among that group of people. j right, and then we want to get to this. this is the arizona attorney general mark, and he's basically

haitians coming from columbia, 3,000 from peru and 1-h500 from panama. and so we're in the middle of this boarld crisis, and the administration just banned one of the ways that the united states prevents people from coming here which is having border patrol on horseback because that twitter narrative that agents were whipping migrants and i love how mayor was on tap with jake yesterday, and jay tapper said flat out president biden said that he was gong to punish these border patrol he said they will pay so how can if agents are gong it pay you say there's an independent investigation? >> it is putting them against in a corner they can't do their job properly and tiewk former acting i.c.e. director coming up in this hour and we'll talk about that, and you know, they're trained, and something that he said they're trained to a

certain way like napgd is trained and police departments so when you were trained a certain way and enact you act on that training, you know what are you supposed to do? >> not backed by your administration. >> it is true when president biden said he's horrified by image of border patrol agents whipping migrants and it kind of reminded me what he said with georgia voting law he called jim crow on steroids it is easily proven law and the road a new york post op-ed saying that habit of lying is infecting entire administration. she listed examples in this op-ed she wrote and southern border is closed. you know it is not closed 14,000 people came over 12,000 just came over and that number is expected to rise border patrol agents on horseback. whipping haitian migrants also false, another lie. we will not leave afghanistan until every american is evacuated we know that at least 100 people, 100 americans are still there and then, of course,

1:10 am
if you've involved in a ponzi scheme you are righteous and compassionate. we american people this is going to change our lives. it may destroy or jobs. it may destroy or lifestyle. it can kill the economy. drive up inflation even further. these decisions that these democrats and their president are making are killing this country. >> and former white house chief strategist karl rove thinks left push for sweeping change will backfire at the polls. >> they think that if more robust transformational package they get better they'll be in master's degree term. throw the bill hail mary because they'll reward you if you pass a tax and spend bill reward you at the polls. now the problem with that is -- that's absolutely wrong. we saw this in recent memory. obamacare in 2010, oh we're going transform american health care system this doom them in

1:21 am
>> welcome back california governor gavin new in signing bill that empower illegal imrapts one of the bills allowed hem to serve on the county central committees for political parties. chairman of the reform california and leader of the newsom recall effort karl excuse me i'll get that right. you're joining us love to discuss the broader implications but before we discuss this. i want to know what this committee is and why it is so important depending on who is serving on it. >> well, each of the counties in california have something called a county central committee, and this is an elected body every county has an lent elected committee for the democrat and republican party. you run by assembly district. your name appears on the ballot people have to vote you in. and this is a county position
1:22 am
that is a four-year term and members on these committees are the ones that ultimately decide who gets the party endorsement for all offices in that county whether it be -- a candidate for running for u.s. senate, president, congress, or the state offices and local city council races. so what gavin newsom has done is not only has he normalized the notion that illegal immigrants should be able to run in an election in california starting with these county committees, but he's also geoffing a voice to illegal immigrants to tell us citizens who he should vote for which it comes time for the actual election. and so look they're starting small. but there's no doubt that this is a pattern of behavior ashley, in 2018, san francisco started letting illegal immigrants vote for school board races. last year, santa ana, california
1:23 am
in orange county legalized illegal immigrants serving on county city board of commissions. so legal immigrant could literally become a city commissioner in santa ana, and what they're clearly showing here is that they want illegal immigrants to vote. they're doing it in spring. they want illegal immigrants to serve on commission they're doing it in sang the ananow statewide gavin newsom normalized by serve on central comets it is outrageous. >> this is severely radical very far left and one of, you know, first thing city is doing after surviving that recall. but my question is, how much more radical can it get? because this just seems unimaginable. >> well maybe we can get an election in california that focuses on issues and his own -- failed record of newsom. what he was able to do in california and it was always a
1:24 am
david versus goliath fight is he raises 100 million dollars from his special interest backers. these elite special interest in the bay area, and in l.a. lobbyist in sacramento o.c. he had liberal media in california covering for him. so we actually didn't gets an election where wednesday focus on his records, and ashley, this would be one of the examples of a governor who is spending over backwards to cater to illegal immigrants but not taking care of citizens here in the united states. and it is a pattern that we've seen time and time again so i think what we're going to do is hit rock bottom we have further to fall in california sadly before people wake up. but i have a warning where california goes, so goes the nation. because joe biden and kamala harris and scwawtdz and nancy pelosi and chuck schumer they're merely proposing from the united states what california already has as law so if you want to see
1:25 am
a future of what america would like lie if biden pelosi were implemented come look at the third world nation that california has become -- where voting no longer is something that is special. it is basically given to anyone. that's very scary. you look at that as right to vote and you cherish that and now it is being made out to be will nothing. karl -- thank you so much for being with us this morning. we appreciate it. >> thanks ashley. >> okay time now is 25 minutes after the hour up next on the ground next with haitian refugee vow to come to america at whatever cost plus today is day that doctors and nrses at hospitals in new york must be vaccinated. the fears to believe to a staff shortage with life and death. life or death situations -- next.

welcome back pfizer ceo believes we are on the verge of normalcy but it isn't ruling out lifelong vaccination shot to protect people from covid. >> within a year, ening we would be able to come back to normal life. i don't think this means that will continue coming, and i don't think that this means that we should be able to live our lives without having immune without vaccinations basically. but let's begin that to be seen. pfizer booster shots cleared for certain people and expected to submit its vaccine data for five to 11-year-olds to the fda in the coming days. and massachusetts police union is sounding alarm after revealing dozens of state troopers have quit over the vaccine mandate. governor charlie baker is ordering state workers to be haven'ted by october 17th or facing fired a lawsuit to demand
1:31 am
thrown the recently about 20% of the police unions members are still unhaven'ted that's according to the boston harold. carly. carley: thanks ashley. new york city vaccine mandate by a federal appeal court judge and new york hospitals and nrsing homes bracing for mass i have staffing shore taming as nation most aggressive rules go into effect today. new york city teacher rachel and university of rochester medical centers dr. sarah klein join me to discuss. good morning to you both. >> good morning thanks so much for having me. carley: dr. klein i'll start with you so health care workers in state of new york have to receive at least one dose of vaccine by today. so -- what happens to those who refuse are they out of a job by today? >> well, i'm one of them so ms my last day of work sadly. yes. and then basically what i've
1:32 am
been told is after today i'm not allowed to enter the patient care area of my hospital anything i do for next few days has to be done remotely and i'll be receiving communication from the hospital about my termination by octobers 4th. carley: how do you feel about that fired because you refuse to get the vaccine and why did you choose to do this you're losing your job over it. >> i'm not ready for it and waiting for data tenge there are a lot of questions about reports and side effects of these vaccines. and so i would feel more comfortable with waiting and having a little bit more time make my decision. carley: now rachel you're a teacher in new york city and block requiring teachers to get vaccinated. how do you feel about that decision? >> well i think it is a good first step. we are cautiously optimistic at this point the hearing wednesday morning.
1:33 am
this is now gone through the first round of the system we did not receive an injunction the first time so now this is in appellate court and we have a few extra days it seems like a good first step so we're positive. carley: dr. klein you said today is your last days on the job because you aren't getting vaccinated and govan says that she's preparing for a staffing shortage. because you're not alone. 16% of new york state health care workers haven't been vaccinated. what happens to markets in new york with the staffing shortage governor says that she's will to call it a state of emergency call in medically train national guard but there are a lot of patients who are concerned about this. >> yeah. absolutely. to be honest, i don't know what kind of timeline she's on training national guards men and other health care providers from other yars. but in the short-term there's gong to be an issue with elected surgeries, our hospital is
1:34 am
putting them on pause starting today. and so anything that's been scheduled going but there are no additional cases. andening you you knowic marketse waiting weeks if not months for routine. >> so we're talking to women who are sort of on two opposite sides of this so -- doctor klein, you are going to be losing your job because of this, and rachel you're hoping that you won't have to get vaccinated if you aren't because of this federal judge that said that the mandate to get vaccinated has been put on pause. but the department of education is fighting against that. they say we're confident our vaccine mandate will continue to be upheld once all of the facts have been presented. so they say they're gong to fight it what's your reaction to that? >> i think that that is shameful of them. i think that they are not giving us a choice the exemption process has been --
1:35 am
for lack of a better term illegal. we are being really -- it is just our backs are against the wall our students are gong to be ones that are hurt in all of this. you know, if we're understanding that we've already been in the building for a few weeks, and we know that the vaccinated can spread this. just like the unvaccinated. so are we a public health threat or are we not? the only ones who are going suffer the teachers, of course, the daily employee, of course, but we're not thinking of the students with teachers taken away from them having their school safety agents now there's only one per school, and they have to work 12 hour days our custodians who are in charge of ordering and stockpiling ppe and clean and veghtlation system our kitchen staff. this is -- the doa is just shameful.
1:36 am
carley: all come down to personal choice, and not having the government force people to put something in their bodies that they don't want to. rachel dr. klein good luck to you both thank you for joining us. we appreciate it. j thank you for having me. carley: time now is 4:35 coming up border patrol agents are fuming after being target of a soft narrative spread by the left. >> this is biden administration deflecting from their failures to try to blame somebody else. they were going iejts doing the job he sent them out to do. >> retiring acting i.c.e. director tom has his own message with the white house. we're live next. hey hun hey, get your own vapors relax with vicks vapobath or with vicks vaposhower. take a soothing vicks vapo

>> welcome back thousands of haitian migrants are flooding mechanics as they prepare to cross the u.s. border. >> griff jenkins is in mexico with an exclusive interview with one migrant who has a message for president biden. griff. >> carley, ashley we're in mexico southernmost city in mexico, so many migrants have been coming for years and officials say there's some 10,000 haitians many of the haitians did not get across in del rio nixon is one of those haitians. you have a message for president bide ?
1:41 am
j mr. president, please if you can help, all of the haitian people, it is the best option because the people haitians, suffer a lot, and -- >> how do you feel about haitians being deported by president biden? >> i think it is a bad decision. >> lastly will you trying to to the yeast? >> united states? >> i will try because it is my dream to be there. to have a better -- better life. >> most if not all of these folks will try to go to the united states because there's simply no jobs for them here. ashley, carley. >> griff jenkins for us there and dhs secretary revealing majority of haitian migrants e completelily crossing the boaferred in del rio released into the u.s. 17,400 who didn't return on their own to mexico how many of
1:42 am
them either -- well first how many have been released into the us? i think it is about 10,000 or so -- 12,000 have been released. yes. it could be even higher. joining us to react is fox news contributor retired acting i.c.e. director tom homan is that 10 to 12,000 number shocking to you and o.c. there at the end when he said that number could go up? >> yes. shocking to this much more and he knows that. because when he said the 800 will return to mexico went back to mexico he realizes they went one or two miles down lean and cam into the united states because they have resources to del rio they left 224 miles of border unguard sod 8,000 go to mexico won't live there. they wept down across illegally. those 8,000 are now in the united states and live here illegally. >> i want to pull this screen up about migrants processing status
1:43 am
12,400 cases heard by immigration gummings 5,000 are processed by dhs with and 3,000 are in detention so we've also heard that you know they've been given, you know -- this card and they have to show up to the courts and hearing. how do we know that they're gong to show up to those? they're just relying on them to walk in and show up and do the right thing. first when you say 12,000 immigrants they are not. that's what the secretary leads you to leave. but many of them were released on a report and it clearly says bottom of the form you're not, you're not in immigration proceedings. you won't be detained use is not detain you for humanitarian reasons. you are released so they're beginning to be an immigration proceed physician they chose to voluntarily show up and turn themselves in which most won't. so secretary given misleading
1:44 am
what you told chris wallace let me add one more thing they told chris wallace they lose their case and be deported here's a question to ask secretary mayorkas how about since you become secretary how many recent border crossings have i.c.e. arrest and deported the answer pretty close to zero that's next question as secretary needs to answer. >> right i want to get to this topic too because i know you're gone to have a lot to say about this and i know a lot of people and a huge talking point right now it is about the images that were released of border patrol agents that were being accused of -- essentially whipping them with their reigns. how does this make you feel being former director of i.c.e., and i mean they're trying to do that are job. and i read that you said that, you know, nypd is train aside certain way border patrol is a certain way and doing what they're trained to do, it is being -- basically, you know, twisted and
1:45 am
made them the to be, you know, the bad guys here. >> well look, this administration trying to change a narrative along with congress and trying to take attention away from failures out on southern border in open border policy. look, these -- let me be clear these border patrol did nothing wrong they didn't violate policy or break a rule they were doing their job. and if you don't believe me, i took nine retired chief patrol agents. i talked to two retired -- cdp commissioners. i talked to five chief of border patrol that were national same position that raul ortiz has now. every one of them. 100% of them said they didn't violate policy or regulation and they did their job and now under the bus by this administration it is a shame that men and women who wear that uniform, and put their lives on the line, for this country -- are now being attacked for doing their job. you know, president biden's
1:46 am
decisions secretary mayorkas put them in this position they did their job nobody wants to talk about fact that haitians are committing a cream entering country illegally it is a violation of a courtroom. it is a violation of title a -- united states -- and when they oppose when they resist arrest look you saw in the video that is a felony. title 18 united states called 111. but no one wants to talk about that crime being committed and lawn mower officers with the job to enforce that crime. stop that crime, are being attacked. it is -- it's my 35 years of government serves never seen administration that hates law enforcement more than this administration. you know, you're innocent until proven guilty. unless you're wearing uniform so shame on biden administration sham on this secretary, shame on the asking commissioner miller to attack the men and women doing their job putting their lives on the lean.
1:47 am
>> okay tom homan thank you for your take on that this morning. we really appreciate it. >> thanks for having me. coming up the search for brian laundrie intensifies as nation remembers life of gabby petito. she's inspired a lot of women and a lot of men to do what's best for them first. put yourself first. as thousands pay tribute to gabby people from all over the country are helping raise reward money to bring her family some closure that includes within of their neighbors and a former deputy police chief. we're talking to both. next.
