of joe biden's mind, he nowhe struggles to form coherent sentences. why have this town hall at all? why not pull another one in at 10:00 a.m. and send joe biden off to the farm in delaware? one of the few people who tuned in last night, a journalist and walter kern authored a possible explanation. "i've never seen anything like this. at some level it has to be intentional. no one was clamoring for a town hall, deterioration being thrusted in our face. cooper of racing through the question to keep from laughing. feels like the work of enemy propagandists." made that observation in response to this clip which we promised we have not edited in any way. >> just in terms of inflation, you had told us in the town hall i think in july that is near turn inflation.

"the wall street journal" talks about 57 financial experts who soldhi high inflation all the wy deep into 2022. >> jesse: joe biden stands there with his hands locked in the 9:00 and 3:00 position. watching that, not hard to wonder, did joe biden not know where he was? did he think he was piloting the old amtrak trains on stage? did he convince himself that he was really back on the mean streets of delaware, driving his '67 stingray in a throwdown with corn pop, aviators? the road in joe biden's mind that was long and treacherous, hence the clenched grip. the moderator on the stage as walter kern pointed out, tried very hard not to notice this. it was noticeable to everybody who watched theas town hall last night.in joe biden's handlers knew something like this would happen and they sent them out there anyway. things became so confusing for

immigrants for example, started lying uncontrollably. first, been to the border and those it well. there is no record joe biden has ever visited the southern border, not as senator, not as a citizen. fox's peter doocy asked joe biden about that. >> there has been reporting that he did drive to the border when he was on the campaign trail in 2008 and he certainly familiar with the facts and it still with him with the fact that in el paso, the border goes right through the center of town. >> we looked into this. 2008, joe biden flew into el paso and drove to new mexico for a political rally. he never visited the border. he didn't even drive through it. if joe biden saw the border at all, it was in his rearview mirror. so this is just another lie.

even if you believe in the light, the white house's explanation makes no sense. they are saying joe biden drove through the border one time more than a decade ago on his way to somewhere else. according to the white house, that means is an expert. he doesn't have any reason to visit the border now that he's president of the united states. this is so absurd that it's obvious no one in the white house really believes in it. again, they are rubbing it in tour faces. joe biden is not in control. that's why none of these excuses make any sense. not a single one. at the town hall last night, joe biden offered a totally different explanation. he said he didn't visit the border because he's too busy. >> do you have time to visit the sunn border? >>n i've been there before. i know it well. i guess i shouldn't go down, but the whole point of it is that i haven't had a whole lot of time to get down. >> jesse: meanwhile according

to the white house, joe biden is going to spend this week vacation in baltimore. the only conclusion anybody could reasonablyny draw from all of this is that joe biden isn't really running things. joe biden himself at various points admitted that. higher gas prices, joe biden straight uper knowledge that he has no idea what to do about it. >> do you have a timeline for gas prices? when do you think they start going down? >> my guess is you'll start to see gas prices come down as we get by going into the winter -- excuse me, going next year into 2022. i don't think it's going to significant reduce gas prices. i don't have a near term answer. >> jesse: "i don't have a near-term answer." in reality, joe biden's handlers have been begging opec to produce more oil and they've been refusing. that's the real near-term answer, and it's been a

disaster. this country was energy independent when joe biden took office and it's not anymore. it's not clear that joe biden realizes that. but if there's one thing joe biden knows well, it's howwe to deflect from his own failures. that is instinctual for joe biden. he doesn't even need to know where he is or what's happening around him, he'll just do it. joe biden identified the real threat this country was facing, first responders and police officers. they are refusing to take the covid vaccine, said they should be fired. >> as many as one in three emergency responders in some citiesre like chicago, los angeles, right here in baltimore, are refusing to comply with city vaccine mandates. i'mma wondering what you stand n that. should emergency responders be mandated to get vaccines and if not should they be stay-at-home or let go? >> yes and yes. are willing to put up with a dementia patient in the white house as long as he's destroying their political opponents. last night's town hall demonstrated that authoritarianism is far more popular in the democratic party than those realized but remember mewhen democrats were going to start destroying statues of our founding fathers? donald trump was mocked withig that. j last night, joe biden said he'd be okay of destroying statues of thomas jefferson and nobody even batted an eye. >> your city is removing a statue of thomas jefferson because of jefferson's histories with as a slaveholder. do you support that decision? >> i think it's up to the locality to decide what they want to do on that. >> jesse: thomas jefferson was dependable author of the independence. not a lot want the statue destroyed and joe biden ended up going to stop them. are you surprised by that? shouldn't be.

at one point the town hall audience last night laughed at the very idea of freedom. you want your constitutional right to self-determination? joe biden's followers gets to the punch line. >> the two things that concern me. one are those who try to make this a political issue. i have the freedom to kill you with my covid -- come on! freedom. >> this kind of thing happens again and again. joe biden again suggested getting rid of the filibuster and the crowd loved it. and as long as he's talking about crushing his political enemies, they are on board. they will forgive anything. even obvious lies. for weeks, fox news mandates that its employees take these p26 shot -- that's never been true. but last night joe biden again repeated the lie. >> do you realize they mandate vaccinations? >> at fox headquarters?

>> yeah. i find that mildly fascinating. >> jesse: the moderator agrees. no one corrects alive. to be clear, not a single person has been fired from fox for refusing to get vaccinated. period. after this town hall, two things are clear. first, joe biden is not capable of thinking clearly and most americans recognize that. you can't watch these clips and come to any other conclusion. there is a way to signal the authority of our actual leaders, ctthe authoritarians who write e executive orders, passed legislation. last night's town hall wasn't unequivocal success. turns out that their agenda is more popular among democrats than we thought. many democrats now applaud this information where they cheer for authoritarianism. they don't care if their dictator lies about the border or things he's driving a car in the middle of a nationally

televised town hall. they just want a dictator. charlie heard is the opinion editor of charlie hurt is the opinion editor of "the washington times." they can't acknowledge that the guy shot because to do so, the party would collapse, the presidency would collapse, they'd be out of power so they couldn't get rich and get even, so we all have to just sit here and pretend that what we are seeing is normal. >> yeah. that's true. and the real problem for them is what is the end game. the alternative to joe biden, kamala harris is perhaps even worse. she's kind of the insurance policy against the 25th amendment or any other attempt to remove joe biden. you ask a really important question about what is the purpose of all of this. as you say it, there is no great clamoring for a town hall with joe biden.

but what i think is going on here that the event last night, was it staged? it was rigged, the questions were rigged, the question by anderson cooper were softball questions and you saw what he would wander off and start talking about something unrelated to the question and anderson cooper would gently guide him back toul the question at hand. he saw were anderson cooper and the president were both telling the same lie about fox news. he was encouraging it. i think what that was all about last night was that they wanted to have that audience applaud the ridiculous insane things that joe biden was saying and have it televised. do you know how hard it is to get a roomful of people to applaud a line about firing firefighters and firing cops, and firing first responders who

have been the heroes of this entire pandemic? and yet that audience applauded when joe biden dropped that line. you could not find a natural audience anywhere that would applaud to that. i think the thinking behind it is if we show this on tv and we had these ridiculous lines coming out of the president's mouth and people applaud, that they can slow the american people into thinking they are applause lines. they are not. people opposeff the stuff. >> jesse: i think it's stagecraft cooked up by cnn and the white house to show crowds are plotting to give this guy a little momentum to push these two bills through. that's what this is about. he can't get any applause when he gets out to the real world. he'll startld telling stories about his father or grandfather and wander off script. great script as always, charlie hurt. we've got to go. do you want to say one more thing?

civil rights movement. i was not an activist. i worked at an all black swimming room in the east side of wilmington, delaware. i was involved. i was involved in what they were thinking, feeling. i was involved. but i was not out marching. i was not down in selma.ot i was not anywhere else. >> jesse: lesson learned? apparently not. this week joe biden was and claimed he's a civil rights activist. >> he looked to me and said, joe, you should run. but, i feel strong strongly about all these issues, being involved with the civil rights movement -- he said, joe, you should do it. >> following my predecessor, the last predecessor, into a deep, deep black hole and abyss. i really made me think about it. that's what got me involved the civil rights as a kid when i was 26 years old. >> joe biden lies, gets caught in decades later he's repeating the

same line. what's going on here? can we believe anything that joe biden says? what about his stories about corn pop. t.w. shannon is the former speaker of the house of representatives and he joins us. psychologically, what do you think is going on with joe biden repeating this civil rights lie after he's already been t caugh? >> i think joe biden summed itjo up well last night at the town hall when he stood on stage and said to the world, what am i doing here? he's trying to put himself as the great white hope. but remember, i guess there's a reason for that because i guess if we believe the democrats, he did get more black votes than barack obama allegedly. i guess that's counting dead voters. let's be honest, joe biden is the grand wizard of mass incarceration. this is the guy who authored a crime bill that was signed by the clintons and actually devastated generations of black

communities. he passed it by convincing america on the house floor that black boys -- i was a black boy at that time, was about 12 years old, he try to convince the world that we were somehow super predators and he introduced his term into our lexicon. he has a history of civil rights. he was being on the wrong side of historyl every single time. >> jesse: i do not know if it's deeper may be a feeling of inadequacy. he lies about his resume constantly. we remember the plagiarism. he had to change his story on multiple occasions but he's embellished his academic credentials but he's been caughe red-handed doing that. i get this feeling that deep down he knows he's not that talented. he knows he's not good enough. and he just kind of fake sit until he makes it. unfortunately he has faked it all the way to the white house and now we are all paying the price. >> it's 50 years. same guy who was a protege of

film "rest" in new mexico. the woman was the films and a photographer for the director was also wounded. according to the stage actors union, baldwin's prop gun contain a single live round. court documents state that alec baldwin was handed a loaded gun by a director who wasn't aware it was loaded. fox news digital has just obtained a 911 call from a script supervisor onset in the script supervisor can be heard blaming an assistant director for failing to make sure the popgun was safe. here's a part of that call. >> wasn't loaded with a real bullet? >> we have two injuries from the movie gun shot. >> okay, stay on the phone with me. >> okay. >> yelled at me at lunch, telling at me about [bleep] --

and yell at me? should've checked the gun, he was responsible. >> now reporting that there had been a recent accidental discharge on the set and the "l.a. times" reporting that crew members walked off the set just hours before the shooting. one crewmember portably complaining gun safety. tim clementi is a hollywood technical consultant and former fbi secret agent and he forms us now. so, on a legitimate movie set with safety protocols when you deal with a prop gun, what would go into something, like, using a gun during the filming? >> the first thing is always the safety rules. four rules of firearm safety you do with any gun. treat every weapon as if it's loaded, never point a gun at anything you are willing to destroy, never put a finger on the trigger unless you're willing to destroy and always be aware of what's in front of, around your target.

all four of those rules are violated on the movie set and if you follow those rules, nobody isn't danger and nobody gets hurt. i don't know if alec baldwin is to blame, the producers, the a.d. that that woman mentioned for a whole host of people because this is a cascading set of issues that led to this happening. clearly it wasn't just alec having the gun of in his hands, it was not knowing it was possibly loaded, him not treating it like it was possibly loaded and he bears a little bit of responsibility as a producer onset to make sure these things are being done and clearly they were not. >> so one round, i guess, wounded one person and killed another... are you thinking it was some sort of ricochet situation? >> generally the director of photography are in very close proximity to each other on the set. they are usually right next to the camera or somewhere very close by. it's possible that it was one

round. but possibly not a bullet. there could have been something else, another shell casing that was in the gun. i understand that since this is. peace that period piece that this is most likely a revolver. something was introduced in the chamber and a blank was put into the cylinder, the cylinder rotates, the gun fires, and whatever is in the barrel can be projected down the barrel. that could fragment into two people at the same time or it could literally go into one person or the other. >> it looks like sloppiness because there was another incident days earlier where there was a discharge situation that people were concerned about and investigators are going to look at everything. look at sloppiness, sabotage bit i think everything is on the table here. you don't have a loaded weapon on a set like that and treat it back cavalierly without multiple

protocols being violated. it's just such a tragedy. i don't see any sort of real explanation besides little leaks that we are hearing throughout the day. in your opinion and you are familiar with this kind of situation, what does your cut got to tell you about what happened? >> again, there is a failure pair they're supposed to be a prop master. there is usually an armor or when you have weapons on the set. both of those people are very responsible ordinarily and they would be the person you would go to with the weapon before and after you were going to use it. somebody should have handed the act, in this case alec baldwin, the weapon and say, this is loaded, don't point it at anybody, don't put your finger on the trigger. make sure you pointing in the safe direction. this can still cause harm. and then he should've recognized that. once a shot is done, the gun is

taken away by the prop master, the armorer, whoever is responsible onset pair there was none of that. during a rehearsal he was holding the gun in his hand and i do not know if this accident occurred during the rehearsal or doing an actual scene they were filming. but either way, as i said, there are several people responsible and one of the reasons we are not hearing a lot of detail coming out is because there could be criminal liability. >> absolutely. >> i don't disparage any of the people involved as individuals, but there are ramifications when something like this happens. unfortunately, it can be criminal. >> according to the 911 call, looks like it was not the armorer or the prop master who handed the gun, it was the assistant director. all of those things were not followed. thank you so much for the insight. >> thank you, jesse. >> jesse: growing evidence of special counsel can be appointed to investigate hunter biden. plenty of evidence from his
